It has a more user-friendly approach. It’s easy to navigate compared with other CRM software, since it isn’t as convoluted.

There are a few tools that I know are still being refined, but with the ongoing expansion and regular updates, I have no doubt they’ll improve soon.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

Practifi has done a great job of taking the generic Salesforce CRM, and reworking to be specific for wealth managers. Their product is user friendly, but still has the powerful engine and customization of SF. They have multiple development releases each year and are always looking for feedback to improve their product. Out of all CRMs we looked for, Practifi was the best and I would onboard with them again.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

There are some restrictions to customizing Practifi managed objects or back-end, admin related configurations that they do not allow individual customization without a full work order. I also didn't think they did a great job of hand holding through early implementation and I had to learn a lot on my own before rolling it out to my company.

**What problems is Practifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are working through bugs and some ease of workflows and usability. This helps with my day-to-day along with other members at my firm.

I have been working with Practifi for the past couple of years, and I couldn't be more impressed with the experience. **What do you like best about Practifi?**

The company is proactive about updates that will result in improved ease of use, practicality of use and efficiency of use .  They also reach out to the end users for their input and ideas.  Their support is quick and very knowledgeable.  The Account Representatives are very helpful in checking in, finding out what our pain points or projects are and gets the client the help they need to resolve issue and complete projects.  We have been able to integrate our portfolio reporting system with Practifi and we have integrated our filing system and our Outlook syncing solution which has made for a robust central platform.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

with every CRM there are items that are a pain point.  The processes are still a bit clunky and not as streamlined as we would like but this is also becoming better and another place where the company is always working to improve.

**What problems is Practifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to view our clients information, daily financial data and account information, emails, meetings and history in one place.  Makes for less hopping around applications and centralizes our workflows.  The Process Tasks are helping to make these flows more automatic with multi-step tasks that are triggered by the outcomes of other tasks.

Practifi is a solid Salesforce overlay designed specifically for the wealth management industry. It offers a comprehensive out-of-the-box solution, making it an excellent choice for firms that do not have dedicated Salesforce customization resources.

Pros:
✔ Great out-of-the-box functionality – The platform is well-designed for wealth management firms, requiring minimal configuration to get started.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

While doing due diligence for our CRM project, we found Practifi inhabited a unique space in the business - large enough to handle the myriad complexities that have developed in our business over the course of 30 years, but still nimble enough to allow us to customize for our wildly independent advisor teams.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

All strengths are typically also weaknesses, so the biggest challenge is simply the downstream work involved in keeping the platform running smoothly given the complexity and customization that we need. This isn't really a function of the platform - more so of our business itself. But this is the biggest challenge. Even with the flexibillty and customization that Practifi provides, it still takes a tremendous amount of work to keep going and there are still things that we have to make decisions about because the platform just can't offer every little customization advisors wish for.

**What problems is Practifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest gain will be for helping those advisor teams who currently do not use digital processes/workflows start down this path. This should also start to help our corporate staff understand how the advisor CRM workflows should integrate with back-office processes. All of these, right now, are essentially manual for us. Our President made a keen observation recently, saying that our technology seems to be highlighting our problems as much as they are helping to resolve them, and I think that is true for us. We are at the very beginning of our journey toward an integrated technology platform, and we still have a long way to go. Practifi is going to be the vehicle by which we make the move into the 21st century.

The task feature is the best for our office as we delegate tasks to frequently and Practifi has helped to create a seamless and accurate system where we can count on operational activities to get completed in a timely manner and with great accuracy.

There are some issues related to navigating the user interface but I'm sure those preferences are so nuanced that it would be impossible to please everyone.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

Practifi has helped tailor and streamline Salesforce to fit the needs of our company. The user interface they have designed for us is much more simple and easier to navigate, our staff has sufficiently adopted to the changes faster than we originally projected. The Practifi team has been fantastic as well. Whenever we have had questions or they have been prompt with their assistance and clearly communicate the answers.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

The only drawback I’ve encountered is that some of our data imports have been a bit complex to set up, requiring some time clean-up and formatted correctly. However, the customer support team has been responsive and helpful whenever we've needed assistance, and with their guidance we were able to overcome this issue fairly quickly.

**What problems is Practifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practifi is helping us integrate tasks and reports formally tracked by individual departments into one centralized system available to all members of the company. This has already saved departments time as the information is more readily available without having to communicate the status of the project.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

Practifi has given us a clear view into the metrics of the business in a clear and concise manner.  I appreciate being able to customize the fields we are using and what we care most about.  Being able to generate custom reports and dashboards allows us to see what matters most, quickly.  The team has been great in their support of our transition and have been prompt in implementation.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

Coming from another CRM it can be time consuming to transition, but worth the investment.

Practifi is allowing us to view our production and sales metrics in a clear way.  It is allowing us to hold our advisors and teams accountable to their work and we can clearly track what has been going well and where we are struggling.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

The members from our team at Practifi came out for 2 days to assist our company which went above and beyond the usual customer service I'm used to anywhere else! They helped us with questions in-person, hosted live trainings for our team, and are available pretty much 24/7 for any questions or issues that may arise. It may have been a chaotic switch, but Practifi made it easy to ask questions and switch with ease of mind!

Nothing, really. It's a new system so there are quite a few bugs and kinks to work out, but thanks to our dev and customer support team, it has made it a lot easier than we initially expected!

Just working through current kinks of launching a new system through Practifi Lightning. They help us manage our clients, vendors, prospects, etc. with ease!

It is built on Salesforce, so there are several integrations with other tools we use and quick adaptations for first-time users. The end-user experience is very streamlined and easy to use. Practifi also offers a learning portal for quicker user adaptation. The Support team quickly answers your questions and assist with troubleshooting.

To properly implement all the system's tools, a lot of administrator backend work needs to be done.

Process creation will eliminate the need for written-out SOPs and allow for easier team member onboarding. Streamline client deliverables and oversight of where it is in the process.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

Practifi takes the guess work out of setup in the CRM system! When you want to add a new client, it walks you through the fields that should or might be required. When you want to setup a report to pull data from the information entered or feeding into the system, it's a straight-forward process. I also like the ability to quickly see what tasks I have delegated to other members of the team that have not been completed. Practifi (in addition to email) is where I spend most of my day when working through tasks and requests from clients. Not only does the system notify me anytime a new task is created and assigned to me, but also has linked up with my email calendar to provide reminders of calendar events coming up. I find this feature very helpful as I can sometimes miss notifications in my email for calendar reminders, but Practifi helps me stay on track. Practifi is a MAJOR upgrade from the previous CRM system we were using, and as manager of my team, I've found the platform very easy to train new hires on as well.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

The biggest downfall I've seen with Practifi in my time working with this CRM system (over 2 years) is the ability to set proper timing for recurring tasks. Unlike other CRM systems I've worked with that have programed in weekly/monthly/annually, etc., Practifi requires a set number of days. For example, this means that on recurring tasks that you need to see on a specific day of month, it could show up a day too soon or a day late depending on the number of days within that month. My hope is this feature will be upgraded in the system in future deployments to work off of set periods of time OR number of days, giving users the options to choose what best suits them.

**What problems is Practifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Practifi helps our company stay on the same page when it comes to servicing the client. It's understood that a task must be created for client requests to ensure they are being properly documented and completed. The ability to create Workflows around some of our more standarized processes has also been key in helping everyone in the company work with the same understanding of what is needed/required to be able to successfully move forward with the task at hand.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

Using Practifi has overall been a good experience. The interface is mostly user friendly once you get used to the navigation. I like the ability for customization when it comes to creating fields and workflows. I also like the functionality of deliverables. The customer service has also improved in recent times, and I feel that I am getting more helpful answers when submitting a ticket or going to our CSM. It also integrates fairly well with our Tamarac reporting software.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

We had some large difficulties upfront with implementation where our data was not uploaded correctly and many tasks were missing, so we had a rough start with users not feeling like they could trust the system. I also have some difficulties with the functionality in the reporting. For example - it is still very difficult to create a report that shows multiple columns of fields by client, but then filter specifically for clients that have a certain user as a specific business role. You have to specifically use a report for servicing team in order to find these certain subsets of clients, but then the fields in those reports are very limited, so I end up having to combine multiple reports in excel. We also have difficulty with the list email functionality, where it can be difficult to filter for specific subsets of clients by certain business roles, and it is also inconvenient that the maximum clients that can be sent a list email at once is 200.

**What problems is Practifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We primarily use Practifi to house client information, keep track of current and past client tasks, and take meeting notes. It is beneficial from a regulatory standpoint to keep track of what is going on with clients at all times.

**What do you like best about Practifi?**

The ability to report on almost anything has been very useful. The ability to quickly modify desired pages has been very useful as well. When a user asks for a new field to store data it only takes me a handful of minutes to roll something like that. It's integration with Orion has been extremely useful as well - especially with field syncing reducing the need to update both databases manually. I also like that our teammembers actually use the thing regularly, rather than just a handful like our old CRM. Unfortunately the main gap in usage comes from leadership, though it seems to work alright to have data floated up from the team to the partners.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

The onboarding (though 3 years in the past now) was quite lengthy and I don't believe our onboarding education was handled as well as it could have been. In addition asking for support always seems to dance between the line of getting actual platform support vs getting pushed for professional services. In addition I have a feeling that having taken a good few Salesforce trailheads I may have more of a command of the platform that could be expected from the casual user. I've accidentally (pretty severely) broken things before and thankfully have been able to fix them myself pretty quickly, but the time it takes for a response concerns me for the inevitable time I break something I can't fix and need to wait however many hours for a response from the team on a solution. In addition being part of a managed package means that a lot of customization is locked behind Apex code, flows, or objects I can't touch - leading to minor adjustments like the fields I want users to input when creating a new household being out of reach and locked to a professional services engagement. I also really dislike how finnicky things are with switching between table or having different fields on different screens dictate how other fields behave. The best example I think is how clunky the location address system is within Practifi. Even today three years in our users avoid updating addresses and prefer myself and my power user colleague to do it for them.

**What problems is Practifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just having a centralized store of client data and notes has been key. Outlook integration has also improved our abilities to asynchronously communicate. Salesforce's reporting suite combined with Tableau has also been great in improving our ability to track business performance as well as our client touchpoints. We're also tracking prospects in the system far better than we used to, though there's still quite a gap in usage from advisor generated sources. Leads from our business partners or website or tracked quite accurately.

We do not have any major issues with Practifi, most of the issues we run into are slaesforce limitations.

Practifi provides a great out of the box product that helps advisors find info quickly and store information in conventient spots.  While we do have a ton of customizations, the out of the box client profile page is awesome.

My firm has been using Practifi for about 2 months.  We have requested numerous customizations based on the way we currently do business and Practifi has been able to consistently deliver on these requests in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Practifi?**

Integration for us has been slow as we have many users who have never used a CRM and change is always difficult, but the Practifi team has been a great support in our effort and our new users are getting more and more comfortable every day.

However, as a non tech, non CRM minded professional, I find it sometimes hard to articulate my wish in Salesforce terminology.  I wish Practifi had more investment management experienced client relationship manager who can show us the best practices that have been developed that we could immediately use, rather than try to build solutions ourselves.

Transition from your old CRM into Practifi was very smooth. Overall ongoing support for issues that arise. The number of new features that they continue to rollout over time. The system is very easy to use and can be adapted based on your firm's needs/wants. They are willing to listen to new ideas and feedback to continue to make new enhancements in the future.

Learning some of the new features can take time. Sometimes the number of changes can be overwhelming and sometimes isn't clear on what changes have been released.

Out of the box environment is lacking in some areas and needs customization, but little to no education on how-to. Must self teach. IE - No permissions are set on login, practifi success has articles on permissions, but they are very top level and do not provide details on what each permission category restricts. Same problem with sharing rules, creating views, changing names of fields.

Once setup, the workflows work well and each step can be easily followed. The queue is the foundation of our Operations team.

Setting up workflows is a nightmare - not intuitive and way too many steps.
Different permissions for different users is also not intuitive. Too many groups and permission  sets you have to assign and then it doesn't even work as expected so just make all key users admins to get around it.

The support is responsive and the team is always ready to help guide you on how best to leverage the platform. They'll even work with you directly to help customize the platform for your way of doing business or help you integrate with key technology outside the platform.

Practifi is a huge platform and can often be overwhelming to users. While it's easy to implement, it's difficult to master. You can take on more than you can chew and find yourself losing productivity.

I strongly recommend engaging with your CSM and the Practifi support team to help make sure you're not running before you can walk!

Practifi helps us service our Clients and grow our business. Prior to Practifi things were falling through the cracks. The ability to automate routine processes and tasks is like having the software as an assistant. Instead of having to remember specific dates and deadlines, it's easy to program the software to think for you. 

If I have any questions or need help modifying anything, the support team is very helpful in providing the best course of action.

The integrations can be a little buggy. We integrate with Pulse360, Tamarac and MoneyGuide, and sometimes receive error messages with things not syncing correctly.

There is a lot of turnover a Practifi and it makes it difficult on a project basis to get support. The PRacitifi customer support is very responsive for one off issues ut as we want to build out our PRacitifi environment there has been a lag in being able to do so efficiently.

The customer support is excellent.

When we moved to Practifi we were expecting to have email aggregation included but it was an additional cost per user, as were some other exciting capabilities we were expecting.
