**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I love the ability to sync multiple calendars and that it pushes and pulls information. Love the voice note feature from clients and that everything is in one spot. I enjoy the integration with square and ease of scheduling appointments/ linking with zoom.  I love their interaction on their private facebook group as well. I use PB daily and it wins out over the Healthie platform which I use for another job. Healthie doesnt have half the features of Practice Better. Want a simple, all in one with great suppport? Choose PB!

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I'd like the ability to make a website, landing pages and have more tutorials on how to create programs. It would be nice to have a community chat area similar to "Circle" as well.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having clients one spot, billing, forms, contracts and programs.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Practice Better has been a game changer for my practice! The use of automations has helped me streamline my practice and help several clients all at once. I would definitely recommend  to other practitioners. Customer support has also been helpful. Whenever I require assistance I just submit a ticket and I get an answer to my questions within 24 hours. I am using practice better regularly in my practice, it is straightforward to use and it is easy to navigate. Integrating zoom and my google calendar is also very helpful. Implementing some of the recommended intake forms that they give you the choice of for your clients is also extremely beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I have not experienced any significant downsides from using Practice Better.

Organizing all my forms for my clients and staying organized.

Love all of the automations and workflow opportunities. Frees up so much time and helps to stay on top of things. I love how it integrates with so many things and that I can find all I need in one place.

There are so many features it can be a little overwhelming at first.

The software contains the vital components needed to run a virtual health practice with many options to fit someone's needs depending on where they are at with their practice. I also like the number of integrations available which can enhance patient tracking/progress.

The software could have better AI functionality compared to other platforms I've seen but that is probably something coming down the pipe from your team.

Providing HIPAA compliant software and tools to assist in patient care.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

After 11 years of being a part of a private practice, where we had two different employees, handling billing, filing, and ordering labs, Practice Better has allowed me to lunch into a business of my own without the need for an administrative support person. It makes things easier for me as a Practitioner to manage without the extra work load I always feared.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

It took me some time to learn how to change the fees for my service and integrate things onto our website but, now that it's done, it's very streamlined.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We no longer need a personal administrative assistant. It is streamlining our billing and helping us save money by not waiting for outstanding balances to get paid.

Can’t fill in forms or PDF directly in the EMR. Can’t prescribe directly in EMR( e-prescribing not available in Canada yet).

Online booking and payments. I don’t chase after payments because it’s done at the time of booking. The online booking is also very handy

I love that Practice Better has pretty much everything I need to run my nutrition business. The design and usability is great, plus they're always very responsive and make changes quickly if and when any issues do pop up. The whole platform is great - from scheduling, running calls, sending out protocols, client messaging and the convenience of an app for myself and clients.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

Not much. As I run online programs and a membership, Practice Better is limited in this area and doesn't have the features I need so I use a separate platform for this.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Its got it all in one place! I get good feedback and it's very easy to use

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

The nutrition journal doesn't allow for multiple nutrients to be reviewed at the same time and doesn't include the RDA ranges so it's really difficult to know if they're eating enough because it's difficult to memorize all of those. 

It's also difficult to calculate BMR as I need to use another website and then copy into the journal. I rely more on Cronometer, which is just an extra expense, it would be really nice if practice better could have all of that in the same place place.

It's also annoying when the notifications for a client rescheduling shows the new date as the original date... It says CLIENT is requesting to reschedule (NEW DATE)... it should be CLIENT is requesting to reschedule (ORIGINAL DATE)

I couldnt run a practice without it

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Practice better is easy to use and very user friendly. It has most of the features I need without too much fluff, extras or complexity. The ability to create notes, prototola, schedule appointments, have clients fill forms, and secure communication satisfies most of my needs.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

Although it integrates with lab companies, the labs are imported as PDFs and I am not able to trend. 

I wish there were more pricing options. I don't need all the features of the plus plan but I need more clients than the basic. Would be a lot better for my budget and usability.

All in one platform growing with demand of industry. Simple to use.

I've been using Practice Better for about 5 years and I love the client/patient experience that I'm able to deliver because of their software. My clients/patients appreciate having an app where everything is in one place-- booking, signing documents, completing forms, billing, online courses, chat, and even journals! 

As a practitioner, it's very easy to use and their customer service is helpful too. I've already recommended PB to my colleagues and they've also expressed their satisfaction. Grateful to have found Practice Better!

I love that Practice Better allows me to streamline every point of contact with my clients from integrations with meal planners, automated programs and goal tracking to the nitty gritty of invoices, protocols and scheduling.  Practice Better saves me and my team an incalcuable about of time and money every week.  Any time we have questions, their customer service team is incredibly helpful.  I don't know where we'd be without it!

I'd love for invoices to be duplicated so that I can use them again for other clients.

Scheduling: streamlines automated reminders & zoom links 
Invoicing: integrates w/ Stripe for ease of bookkeeping 
Client Care: automated programs, notes, protocols, integration with Fullscript, HIPAA compliant chat 
Automations: I can create a note, for example, that can be duplicated and reused for other clients.  Saves me so much time!

I would like a few more aesthetic editing features in areas like the group chat and module creation area, but these are not deal breakers.

It addresses privacy concerns, the problem of needing multiple platforms for clients to log into, it allows interaction in multiple ways with clients, and it allows me to create and share educational materials with ease.

I love the capability to have everything in one place. I don't use any other system outside of Practice Better when working with my patients. I have been using Practice Better for 7 years now and it was life changing for my practice 7 years ago and continues to hold up grow as technology grows.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I still very much dislike that there is no way for the practitioner to change or edit a patients food journal for them. This has been requested by myself and many others for many years and they still will not add this capability. It is literally the only downside to the system.

It is allowing me to be able to communicate with my patients in one conscise space. I am able to accomplish everything I need in my practice in one place

Using PB in my private coaching practice, brings me comfort knowing that I can focus on my work and that the back end details and customer experience are taking care of. I wish you had a coach or onboarding specialist to walk you through getting everything set up appropriately based on your business model.

I like most of its features but especially those related to scheduling, communication and paperwork. The web portal and app both work well together.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I'm not the biggest fan of the journal. It is a little clunky and sometimes clients dont tolerate using it well and will request to use an alternative. I also don't like the the weigh in graph has intervals of 50 pounds. This greatly takes away from the usefulness of the graph.

It streamlines my on boarding process and also makes it easy for me to track payments.

What I like best about Practice Better is its all-in-one platform that streamlines client management, making it easy to schedule appointments, track progress, and securely communicate with clients. It provides an intuitive user experience that helps save time and stay organized, allowing me to focus more on client care.  The customer service team is amazing!!

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

When adding currated lifestyle recommendations, it would be easier to be able to view "all" as opposed to having to remember which section that I put the lifestyle recommendation under.  Alternatively, it would be great if I could create my own tab -- as opposed to the ones that are only available there.
The generated PDF file could be more compressed as in --- the information flows better if some sections are not necessary.  I don't like the idea that after a protocol has been published, you cannot go and quickly edit it before having to publish it again.  Or maybe I'm missing something.  Practice Better has SO much to offer, there is not enough time to navigate the platform in 14 days to figure out whether it will be suitable.  More integrations please!

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

Practice Better has made running my own practice a lot easier. I find it is very intuitive and most of my clients enjoy using the platform as well. I have recently started to use the AI charting assist which has significantly reduced admin time and makes my pratice notes that much better and faster.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

I think the telehealth component could use some work. If I want to share my screen with clients, it removes my face/video and the document takes up the full screen.

The interface is very user-friendly, allowing our employees to access it on desktops, phones, and iPads. Practice Better continually improves its software with regular updates, keeping us informed of any changes. As a small medical practice, we find Practice Better extremely helpful for scheduling and client communication. '

Their customer service is exceptional, too—on 10/29, I chatted with Donna, who went above and beyond to investigate and confirm that G2 is a legitimate survey company hired by Practice Better. Her thorough response made me feel confident about completing the survey.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

Practice Better currently lacks the ability to save "credits on file." We have to manually track patient credits in the recent activity tab. For instance, we have insurance patients whose coverage later increases to 100%, making their previously paid copays a credit on their account. It would be extremely useful to have a dedicated area for tracking these credit accumulations and their application, as we had with Unified Practice (an acupuncture software we previously used).

Additionally, the currently selection of Reports on Practice Better could be improved. Our biller currently faces issues that require her to create custom reports manually.

The Payment History report on Practice Better also lacks clarity. It does not show the payout for each date of service; it only displays when payments are received. For example, if insurance payments are made later, the report does not accurately reflect the earnings for each specific date of service.

Faster communications. I noticed the communication time between a live agent has improved.

Practice Better is truly an "all in one" piece of software for my business. I couldn't be without it. It streamlines all processes and I don't need any other software. My clients love it too, many clinic software programs don't have a client-facing side, my clients love having access to their portal and it adds extra percieved value to my offerings.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

With the US exchange rate being poor for my currency, it is a pricier investment. It's frustrating to not have some simple features available in the lower-tier plans, e.g. customisation of portal with brand colours and the ability to message all clients at once with updates. There's some basic things missing (that could streamline processes) that even with submitting tickets and feedback don't seem to get changed. I also dislike the massive price jump to take on one more practitioner, it makes scaling a small business challenging.

Using Practice Better means I don't need to utilise multiple different pieces of software to run my business, it's really "all in one". It makes everything about running my practice quicker and easier and increases client compliance and percieved value too.

Practice Better has not only been an incredible way to schedule clients, collect payments, and keep track of all the admin work, but it's a wonderful tool for tracking client data and creating protocols. My clients are able to have everything in one place, including their meal plans thanks to the integration with That Clean Life. I have also taken advantage of their programs feature which has allowed me to run live groups and create evergreen programs out of them. They are also always VERY responsive to both questions/concerns and are constantly upgrading the database with amazing new features.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

There have been no real downsides to using Practice Better other than not connecting directly to QuickBooks - this is my bookkeeper's program of choice so this integration would be VERY helpful.

I just started setting up Practice Better about a week ago.  I am nutritionist and health coach and I switched from Charm. I had been using charm prioro my maternity leave  Charm was great because it was free for my small practice but had way too many bells and whistles for what I needed. When I came back and needed to re-learn it,  it started to get confusing to use because of too many options - it's for large medical practices, not small health coaches.  Each feature on PB is easy to understand and set up. I had to email customer service and received a detailed response within 24 hours. I am excited to use all the other features such as journals, food tracking, and creating programs for my clients.  I feel this software will be perfect for what I need for my small online health coaching business.

I would like to see a lower price for someone setting up a new practice.

I'm an LCSW and trauma therapist in private practice. I have been using Practice Better since 2021 and has been a game-changer for how I run my practice:

Practice Better has seamless integration with scheduling, billing, automations, and communication (via secure chat, journal, broadcasts). The user-friendly interface makes it easy to navigate. For the tech savvy, there's an app for it!

Tracking tasks, reminders, and progress notes is helps with task management. The customizable note and form templates for individual clients are super helpful so I can tailor it to my practice.

Practice Better values connections and has a place for practitioners in their 'Community' forum. For clients, secure messaging, televideo sessions, journaling, document sharing, and chat features create a safe and supportive environment outside and during therapy sessions.

In summary, Practice Better is in an all-in-one place for my telehealth practice by streamlining administrative tasks, so I can focus on my work and care for clients. Highly recommended!

It would be beneficial to have audio sharing capabilities, especially during meditation practices with clients.

Similar to Zoom or Google Meet, a waiting room feature would allow practitioners to control who enter sessions.

Having a direct session link to share with clients would be convenient when emails get buried.

Showing the client’s next appointment date and time when viewing any appointment would be helpful when documenting or communicating with clients.

For progress notes, instead of duplicating and linking the session each time, it would be nice if practitioners could just update the last templated note for the current session to save time and improve efficiency.

Ease of use (simplifying admininstrative tasks and use-friendly interface for smooth navigation), functionality (scheduling, billing and secure communication; customization templates and automations), and convenience to run a telehealth practice from my home office (flexible appointment times, reduced travel to save time and effort, better work-life balance).

As a therapist in training, I explored several platforms like Owl and SimplePractice and found that Practice Better currently best meets my needs. I’m grateful for the free plan, and since I don’t require telehealth, I appreciate that I’m not paying for features I don’t need. Even when I decide to upgrade, the plans are very affordable.

My only issue has been the inability to sync with Google Calendar despite multiple attempts. However, I found it ultimately wasn’t essential for my needs.

Very rarely do my clients experience glitches with the app (a common occurance with every other food journaling app I've used w/ clients). I like that you can turn on nutrient tracking for disordered eating clients.  Honestly I could go on, there is so much I like about it.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

The only downside is it can be overwhelming to get started.  Because there are so many features it is a lot to learn.  I found it helpful to just set up 1 thing at a time. So glad I did.  The transition from my last platform was a breeze. I will say I think they have streamlined onboarding a lot more since I started with them years ago.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to not have to use multiple services to accomplish what I need to do with and for my clients. (billing, charting, communication, creating programs, etc)

Convenient forms for functional medicine practices (though I couldn’t effectively use them)

Poor customer service with consistently delayed responses
Long wait times for support calls (up to two weeks)
Recurrent issues remain unresolved despite multiple attempts
even simple problem it is takes so much time for them to solve

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In theory, Practice Better is meant to streamline client management for functional and lifestyle medicine practices, offering features like integrated forms,  and appointment management—all of which should make life easier for coaches like myself. The platform’s specific tools are designed to be particularly helpful for functional medicine by providing customizable forms and client tracking that align with our practice needs.

However, despite these intentions, I’ve been unable to benefit from these features due to consistent issues with call logging and significant delays in support. Ideally, the app should save time and enhance client interactions, but the unresolved problems have actually added to my workload and disrupted my practice.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I love the autopopulation of data from client forms into practitioner notes and templates. I also love the AI transcript of client sessions which also autopopulate into our practitioner notes. The integration with That Clean Life is fabulous and that partnership is super convenient. Our whole team can pick and choose which features and processes fit us best and utilize them for our optimal efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

My biggest complaint with PB is the clunky and virtually inability to link with Outlook for calendar and event syncing. The 3rd party integration does not work seamlessly and I have to double enter appointments in my two work calendars because of this. Only working with Google is very limiting and seems narrow minded with so many other platforms out there. Google is not secure compared to Outlook and my IT security team from my other small business I own and operate strongly recommends avoiding Google so this disconnect makes the integration between my nutrition clients and my personal training/corrective exercise clients very clunky, inconvenient, and frustrating.

**What problems is Practice Better solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our client interactions are completed via PB. From the initial communication through purchasing, client-facing sessions, creation and sharing of programs and protocols, we are able to do it all within PB and complete most tasks with ease.

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

I love the stream lined process I can give my nutrition clients and MYSELF from the initial free consults to comprehensive forms to session notes. This platform keeps my practice organized and holds all my clients information (labs, forms, session notes, food diary entries, etc) all in one place. Which makes it easy for me to locate, refer back to, and build or modify protocols.

I also love their commitment to growth and continuously listening to us users and improving their platform for our needs

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

It can be a little bit of a learning curve to set up your services, packages, etc. But they do provide an educational walk through and tutorials on how to do everything you're needing help with. Plus their customer service agents are quick to get ahold of.

Organization. As I started my practice I was getting overwhelmed with storing session notes, labs, messages, forms, etc. And felt like I was drowning in paper and emails. Practice better makes it easy to have everything you need to know about your client, session notes, protocols, diaries, payments, messages, etc. All in one easy accessible place.

I like that their always adding new features that improve your workflow . The time i used support and tit was system wide issue was fixed very quickly. I also like  the the built in virtual visit software without the additional cost .

I can't use my credit card processor linking into Practice Better .I would like to have the option when making a appointment the option click on bottom for say 1 month, 2months 3 months or 6months and have the calender jump to that time

**What do you like best about Practice Better?**

This is a comprehensive system that offers many tools for wellness and health practitioners. I have been using the system for about 2 months so far and it's been a wonderful experience. I have contacted support and they were speedy, supportive, and respectful, helping me to complete my requests in a timely manner. Although I don't use all the tools currently, I don't anticipate needing to purchase additional tools to help run my business as the upgrade packages seem to have everything I would want or need. Overall great system and fair price.

**What do you dislike about Practice Better?**

Clients say it's a bit confusing to use. That clean life integration doesn't have a PDF format to download via a published protocol. I created a dummy client to learn what clients experience and  can effectively say the client portal needs some work in terms of client use and experience of the platform.

PB keeps everything nice and organized in one convenient space. It allows me to take a client through all steps and phases of a protocol effectively and with little effort.

I mostly like how Practice Better is HIPAA compliant, leaving less for me to worry about as a small business owner. I also like that it houses all of the forms you needs and you're able to have branding within the portal (and on forms). It really covers it all.
