# Which file converter platforms connect well with cloud storage systems like Google Drive or SharePoint so files move automatically without manual uploads?

Looking for a file converter platform that connects well with cloud storage systems (Google Drive or SharePoint), in a way that files move automatically without manual uploads. </p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">While exploring the <a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/file-converter">file converter</a> category on G2, three contenders stood out: <strong>pdfFiller</strong>, <strong>Adobe Acrobat</strong>, and <strong>Foxit PDF Editor</strong>. But claiming good cloud connection and actually moving files without manual uploads are two different things.</p><ul>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/pdffiller/reviews"><strong>pdfFiller</strong></a>: It connects to Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Box and its truly automatic part is airSlate's no-code Bots, which auto-file documents to Drive or SharePoint folder on a trigger. It even has the top integration score on G2 (93%). That said, the automation lives in the airSlate layer, though, not pdfFiller itself.</li>

Offers strong cloud-storage support, works with SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, Box, and Dropbox. While it’s best for opening and converting files where they live, does it provide fully automatic file movement?</li>

<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/foxit-pdf-editor/reviews"><strong>Foxit PDF Editor</strong></a>: It’s deepest on the enterprise side. Has real SharePoint check-in and check-out with versioning, plus iManage and the usual cloud connections.</li>

&lt;p&gt;The best test is to run one complete workflow using real permissions: place a file in a monitored folder, convert it, save it to the correct destination, preserve metadata and access rights, create a new version where required, and alert someone when the process fails. The platform that completes that flow without a user downloading or re-uploading anything is the one providing genuine automation rather than just convenient cloud access.&lt;/p&gt;
