What do you like best about Phorest Salon Software?

I like the google reviews and how everything is separated easily like purchasing under a certain employee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phorest Salon Software?

There was never anyone available to answer questions when I needed them. The software is not user friendly, its business friendly. Reports are easier but booking on Phorest Go is not. If you have an independent Boothrental branded salon, it doesn't work well with your stylist booking their own clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the long ways to do the simple thing. And they change or remove good features and leave the problem areas unchanged.

I love how it’s more simple than my IPhone calendar. I can see all my appointments for the day and all my coworkers. I can simply add on any extras to custome the service and add time if I would like. Extremely easy to use and genius! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Phorest Salon Software?

I like how Phorest allows you to drag and move appointments, they allow you adjust the timing of the appointment without having to open up the ticket. I like how easy it is to set up schedules as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phorest Salon Software?

The only thing I dislike about Phorest is on your phone, you can’t see your schedule a month in a months glance. You can only see week by week, and if you want to see 2 months in advance you have to scroll week by week until you get there which can be frustrating when trying to make an appointment through your phone. Its easy to use and navigate. I like that it send out client confirmation texts and emails, has a option to add more client information like address and birthdays. It is also connected to social media and clients post reviews through phorest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Phorest Salon Software?

Phorest is very easy to navigate. They have thought of everything from integrating social media and google reviews to appointment reminders and online booking. The support if needed is quick and very friendly, no waiting on hold forever. The support team takes suggestions for features to be improved or added. The initial training was very thorough without being overwhelming. I love the app they created for my salon and everything links together and works great! I can access the program from my home computer and I love having the app on my phone. I can see my schedule anytime. I book people or even cash someone out through the phone app if someone is on the front desk computer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Phorest Salon Software?

The customer service and helpfulness is great. The fact that it works and is so user friendly. We came from Booker and nothing ever worked and no one could ever help us. The difference is astounding. The marketing solutions are incredible too. Online booking is so much easier for our clients. You can see the reports on the app. It just does everything its supposed to do Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Phorest Salon Software?

I don't like that there is no place to store clients card information. The online booking fees are annoying and having to pay international fees to pay for it. It doesn't do birthday reminders so you have to physically go in to each person's file to see their birthday. Phorest pay is kinda buggy. When the client buys products and pushes the 20% button for tip, it includes the products in the sale so they tip on the products too. Big no no, but they say they're working on it. However, I do have one note regarding tips on Phorest Pay:

The good news is that salons do in fact have control of that in their settings. Phorest salons can choose the tip to calculate off “total ticket” or “services only”. Hope that helps!
