In walks Parta. I can't explain to you how refreshing it is to have a new platform that not only focusing on efficient course creation, but actively listens to it's users, asks for feedback, and consistently improves it tooling in order to make the customer's life easier. Biggest pro for me is AUTHOR COLLABORATION. Yes, you read that right. The feature we have been asking for 10+ years plus in Articulate is a base functionality here. I am never going back. **What do you dislike about Parta.io?** I haven't come across any and have been using it for about a year, now. Whenever we do run across something that is not ideal, we send our feedback in for a suggestion of why it is making our life difficult, and my the following month the issue is gone. **What problems is Parta.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** It enables us to create content quickly and at scale with as much customization as needed to make sure our customers succeed in learning about our product. ### 3. We are able to develop our course in a fraction of the time than our previous software. It works like a no-code website builder rather than a clunky 5-click time-waster to go from editing a component to seeing how it looks live. With Parta, I edit the component and it looks like it'll look in the course. Then I can still preview the course in its entirety. We've also been privileged to have their team assist us in several ways and they constantly listen to our feedback and iterate quickly on user needs. I don't feel like I'm talking to a software company when I interact with them because I know I'm talking to industry experts that know what instructional designers need beyond just having fancy buttons or interactions, so I can focus on more of the actual learning design instead of visual design and functionality. **What do you dislike about Parta.io?** That this product should have been developed ages ago and then it would be even more amazing today. But in all seriousness, the software is in its infancy, yet they update and improve their product so rapidly, its negatives or limitations will not last long. **What problems is Parta.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Parta was able to reduce our course production time 75%. We are able to complete and iterate on courses in FAR less time than ever before because we used to build a prototype/storyboard outside of our previous course builder because it was so time-consuming to edit or review drafts within the software. Then, we'd go through review processes using the prototype, then build it. Any iteration necessary would usually wait until several small things changed or a big change needed to happen, then we'd have to download the SCORM and replace it with the older version. With Parta, we can build directly in the software, share with stakeholders and reviewers for feedback, and iterate all within the software. AND it has a Skilljar integration that automatically updates the course in our LMS seamlessly. ### 4. What I love most is how much freedom it gives you. I can whip up custom content blocks, cool interactions, and layouts that fit exactly what I need. Plus, embedding anything (videos, Storyline interactions, HTML code) is a huge benefit, making my courses super engaging and integration into my team's existing tech stack seamless. One of my favorite features is how easy it is to update the look of all my courses; one click and BOOM, everything matches the style and branding I configure! I can customize how I want all of my team's text, elements (accordions, tabs, etc) look for consistency, and give my team the ability to be creative with their development yet consistent with the company's branding requirements. And the permissions are super granular, so I can control exactly who sees or edits what. Collaborating with other stakeholders is easy, which is huge for us. And having all of our company's digital assets in one place? Total lifesaver. Oh, and you can publish courses in tons of different ways, including directly to an LMS (in our case, Skilljar). This made our implementation quick and easy! Honestly, the features are great, but the entire team (shoutout to Artem, Andrew, and Polly!) is next-level. They're super responsive are genuinely invested in our success, making the whole experience world-class. I use Parta every day and I wouldn't have it any other way. It integrates easily into my development cycle. **What do you dislike about Parta.io?** It's not perfect, but pretty close! Sometimes there are small bugs when I'm building stuff, which can be a bit annoying. But there's always a workaround, and the Parta team is incredibly responsive and always offers solutions. Sending content for outside review can be a little clunky, especially with the "guest user" setup. A smoother way to do that would be awesome for collaborating. And while it has lots of interactive options, it's got some limitations that other tools like Storyline can accomplish like dynamic variables and custom animations. But honestly, it's so flexible you can usually just build what you need anyway. **What problems is Parta.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Parta is helping us solve our branding consistency, keeping our courses all looking and feeling the same. The branding feature helps make this easy to do. It is also helping us onboard new developers quickly; they don't have to think about the color scheme or the heading sizes, as these are all predefined and allows them to focus on making beautiful, meaningful content. It is also helping us to think through our approach to our content; we no longer add accordions or tabs (as one does in Rise) without intention, using those types of elements intentionally. It also helps us with our review cycles, allowing our reviewers to be very specific with where and what they have feedback on. We've been leveraging the "Resources" feature to provide our content developers with the creative assets (like images) within the tool itself, without having to manage them outside of Parta. ### 5. This means that we can easily make changes across the catalog to meet the every changing needs of the business. We can also make content that varies for the users; it can be consistent in branding, yet interesting and effective--not boring. And, finally Parta is focused on the levels of granular control, this means that you can also decide who has access to what, which is very important. They are a great company to work with, they are really listening and learning about where learning will be next and building quickly to get there. **What do you dislike about Parta.io?** With flexibility comes a little bit of a learning curve (I'm ok with that) and that to have consistency really means taking some responsibility to set standards and templates (I'm also ok with that). As a relatively young tool, there are some quirks. The team is super responsive in addressing them. Customizability - With Parta, I can customize every detail of the educational content I design, from the course structure down to the lesson elements. Project management features - In addition to the authoring features, Parta has project management functionalities like tasks and comments. With Parta, my process is completely different - I think of the content first and then ask "how do I customize a Parta block to fit my content?" With Parta's no-/low-code editor, we have full control of the learning experiences in a WYSIWYG tool, which significantly boosts our content creation efficiency by reducing manual tasks like copy-pasting from storyboards and passing doucments to SMEs for feedback. With Parta, we also gained access to new options for interactivity and animations that would previously have required us to get the support of a frontend developer to build. Plus, because branding settings are centralized, when the next inevitable rebrand comes along, it will be quick and simple to apply the new colors, fonts, etc. to all our existing content. ### 10. Parta is always evolving, with new features rolling out every quarter based on what users have to say. From my first demo to my latest interactions with the software, I've always noticed the human-centered design at its core. This product was developed to truly fill a gap in the e-learning industry. Instead of making empty promises about AI replacing Instructional Designers, it creates an oh-so-needed link between Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Learning experts. AI is also part of Parta, but rather than generating mediocre learning modules with random, unverified internet info, it handles tasks like proofreading, writing improvement, translation, and other activities at which AI is great. Plus, companies can integrate their own AI directly into Parta. The user experience is designed to be simple enough for non-e-learning developers, making the initial approach to e-learning creation encouraging for SMEs. This lets them focus on their creativity and the quality of the knowledge they share. Users can easily pick their desired blocks from a rich template library and create. On top of that, Pro users—usually the Instructional Designers in an organization—can dive deep into customizing the aesthetics and formatting of the course, ensuring a captivating learning experience. I've never worked this way before, and seeing the proud faces of my stakeholders, who are actively involved in creating their courses, is simply priceless. Other essential features include instant AI translation of courses, which can be proofread by our localization team directly in the editor to correct any mistakes. Branding customization instantly updates courses to the latest brand guidelines. The task space, structured as a Kanban board, facilitates easy project management. Additionally, the pricing model is convenient, based on monthly usage. There is so much to love about this product! **What do you dislike about Parta.io?** The product is evolving quickly and changes often, which might lead to a few bugs here and there. But given the awesome improvements and great features they roll out each time, it's a small hiccup that's totally manageable. Plus, the team is super fast and responsive whenever users report something isn't working as expected. Tools I tried in the past didn't meet my expectations in terms of interactivity and creativity. And others were way too complicated for someone who is not a scrum master. With Parta.io I feel like a pro. Customer support is amazing. The team is not only eager to help, but also listen. **What do you dislike about Parta.io?** I started using Parta.io over a year ago. Today the product has evolved so much. My biggest challenge in the beginning was image cropping, but now it's mindblowing how easy it is to use. This makes me think that even if something is not working today, Parta.io team will make it happen tomorrow. I started 3 times, tried different tools, but abandoned within a few days. With Parta.io my course is finally live. It's easy to update and share.
