**What do you like best about Oyster?**

The response times are quick and it is a straighforward platform to use, since I have an employee based in Europe while the rest of my team is based in the UK and I need to manage things differently. The price is good for what we get, and we were properly trained to use it.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

In my experience the only negative thing I can say about Oyster is that I find the support quite rigid. My employee had an issue about getting a sick certificate and there is no flexibility on Oyster's side to understand. I understand why, but there should be room for conversation between the platform and the employer on certain minor issues.

**What problems is Oyster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had to hire a person in Europe and we are a team based in the UK, so Oyster took care of the HR admin and the day to day management of time off, sick leave and expenses for this employee, that has to follow different rules compared to the rest of the team.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

I find Oyster really useful for easily lodging my expenses and viewing payslips. The ease of uploading a receipt and quickly adding the details makes claiming expenses a painless process, which is great for someone like me who travels a lot for work and has many hotel, food, and mileage expenses. Their staff is incredibly helpful; when I received a new contract, they promptly sent it out, signed and explained it thoroughly, making the whole process smooth. The onboarding was very easy as well, with the staff guiding me through it, ensuring a seamless setup.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

Since I get paid through Oyster, it would be great to know roughly when my next pay date is, or what status my paycheck is in. It would also be great to get an email reminder that my expense cut-off date is nearby.

**What problems is Oyster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I lodge expenses, view pay slips, and log time off easily. The expense process is quick and painless, which is crucial with my frequent travel. Oyster's helpful staff also quickly handle contracts and clarifications.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

I find Oyster really helpful for receiving monthly payments from my contractor. I love that you can update your bank account instantly, which means you can receive one payment in one account and the next month's payment in another account. It's a pretty good feature that lets me track whether my payment is in process or sent. The payment/invoices system works well for me, and setting up Oyster was a piece of cake.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

Some of the USD payment is deducted before landing into my account and I can't find any option where we can split this processing amount between ourselves and the contractor, that would be great if Oyster can provide an option for that.

**What problems is Oyster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oyster solves payment issues, handles currency conversion, and facilitates bank transfers. I can update my bank details instantly and track payments, ensuring they're in process or sent. It's helpful for receiving payments from my contractor efficiently.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

With minimal effort, I was able to start working for a British company using Oyster while living in Germany. The setup process was simple my side and through a flat fee, I could recieve a salary from the UK company and the German tax and insurance and medical was all taken care of. I use a timesheet monthly to record my hours and their portal makes it easy to communicate with them. Their support and communication is excellent.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

Downsides is the fee they charge for using their services, it is quite high in my opinion but worth paying to achieve my goal of remote working.

**What problems is Oyster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working for Oyster allows me to work from Germany for a UK company and have my salary paid in Euros. All deductions are taken care of and documentation is available for my tax returns as expected.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

I like Oyster because it allows me to be paid by international companies, and the funds arrive faster. What stands out for me about Oyster is that when you get paid, the funds take a shorter time to reach your bank account. The tool I like the most is the invoice section because it shows me the progress of the funds being paid and the days remaining for the funds to reach my account. It's really valuable to me because I can see the progress of my payment. The initial setup of Oyster was very easy and quite simple. It didn't take so much time, I finished it fast because the instructions were clear and the steps were simple. I really enjoyed and liked it.

At the moment, I have no negatives about Oyster since I have had the best experience so far.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

I've been using Oyster for about a year now, and it has been a wonderful experience so far. I particularly like the support I get from the team whenever I have questions, especially regarding onboarding and payments. The onboarding process is also very smooth, which I appreciate. Whenever I reach out to support, I get responses within a few minutes, less than an hour, and they always manage to resolve my queries efficiently. The initial setup was also very smooth; I just had to input my information and upload my KYC document, and I was onboarded within hours without any difficulty.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

I do believe this regards editing contracts, I have a feeling that mostly the contract can only be edited by the client, and it'd be so nice if the contractor could also add or modify parts, especially low-risk sections, without needing to reach out to the client. It would be great to modify it on my part and have a notice sent to the client to alert them or to let them know that the contractor made this modification. On the contract. And will be able to review it as well. So, yeah, that's what I would love for them to do.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

I like the fact that I am able to input multiple account payment details. I have several different accounts and then I am able to share all those different account details in different currencies to the people that are paying me. Oyster streamlines my finances by allowing me to manage payments through multiple accounts, which helps with my financial audit practices. Being able to have a log of all the money that has come in and see the different vendors and the different companies paying me helps me keep neat financial books, records, and accounts. This makes it easier to streamline either my tax payments or my budgeting month to month. The setup and onboarding was fairly easy and took me less than five minutes to input everything.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

At the moment; nothing. No dislikes from me

The initial setup was very easy, and I appreciate how everything has a specific place, with all the material needed for my employment in France already there and converted to the local process. The platform is very clear and concise, and I really enjoy it.

The only slight piece of feedback I would give is about the portage model that was used, which ultimately was not a fit for me. It took some time to resolve that and get a solution in place.

I love how Oyster helps me process my payments from the company I work for. It's a relief to receive money in USD easily via their platform. I enjoy the ability to withdraw my money easily and the fast settlements to my bank account. When money is paid to my account faster, I can pay my bills and maintain my lifestyle without waiting for 2 weeks. The initial setup of Oyster was quite easy and faster, which I really appreciate.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

Oyster is very easy to use and is very clear in allowing us to set up employees that live elsewhere. I also enjoy the cost calculator feature which is very useful when deciding whether to hire employees or not. It is easy to bring this data quickly to a discussion with Leadership which before required me to spend a long time working out the cost of bringing people through an EOR. And the hiring process and onboarding flows through Oyster are very simple to use and easy to complete make it less cumbersome for us as admin and for employees.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

It seems like Oyster is built on the basis that you only hire employees through oyster and that most customers would use it this way. Specifically for us, and I am sure more businesses are the same, it would be better if the integration with HRIS was more complete, understanding that businesses will generally use a separate HRIS to manage all their employees and it would be ideal to Oyster would auto sync with our HRIS. 
This would be everything from documents to details. This is the bit I dislike most about Oyster because it creates additional admin work to have to keep both systems up to date.
As an additional, it would be good if it could integrate with out ATS system Workable too or any ATS so when we hire someone it moves straight to Oyster if applicable.

Hiring people in countries that our entity doesn't cover. Especially when hiring in Gibraltar as the talent pool is small there and most of our employees will not live in Gibraltar or within an hour of it.

I find the Oyster site easy to use. I also like how easy it is to open a ticket to get in touch with someone for support.

The benefits onboarding is not a good experience, they told me it takes ten business days to get set up, but I need my healthcare coverage to start by the 1st of the next month, and this is cutting it close. feel like this should be a lot faster and easier. I've used Rippling in the past and thought that was a much better experience. Also, Rippling has a mobile app, which I prefer.

The thing I like most about Oyster is the customer service. The manager I dealt with was very friendly and direct in communication, always getting back to me within a couple of hours, so I didn't have to wait long for replies. The mobile app and the interface are also quite neat and very clear to work with, enabling me to do work more efficiently and in less time. The initial setup was very easy; I was able to create my account and start using it right away. I'm totally positive about it and will definitely recommend Oyster whenever there's an opportunity.

Paid on time and works overall. So as a Service nothing wrong with it.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

Accurate Timetracking is impossible: 10+ clicks to change start time and another 10+ clicks to change end time as well as crazy 2 factor timeout of max 8 hours. They seem to expect you to not track your time accurately.

Holiday calendar for Spain doesn't work unless setting Barcelona and Madrid. It should be able to take all Catalonian Public Holidays at least, but really it should have a comprehensive list of all holidays of major areas which are readily available online.

Expenses same thing, very unclear how to structure expense report and where to add which cost. If adding one consolidated report - requires double upload and no automatic categorization at all.

I find Oyster very useful. The website is very user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate between different parts. The process for holiday requests is straightforward. I really like that the support team is very responsive. These are the things I like the most.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

I think some of the administrative rules for Poland could be more simplified. They have long texts about different rules, which are quite lengthy and take time to digest. The real key takeaways could be better designed and highlighted. Expensing is not the most advanced way, and it still takes time. For example, for the per diem part, I need to create a separate ticket, which I can't submit immediately via the expense section. Another thing is the lack of visibility on expenses; it just does not exist. You see it on the payroll, but there should be some visibility on when and how much is going to be paid. So, the visibility into expenses is a major gap and is the biggest highlight that needs improvement.

Oyster handles legal employment, payroll, holiday requests, and administrative tasks for my job in Poland, bridging the gap between me and my employer.

I use Oyster for the onboarding process, and it makes everything really easy. It's like a bridge between employer and employee. I like that there's a quick response whenever I have queries about my job. The dashboard and process are good, everything is easy to understand. I completed the full onboarding process in just 30 minutes with clarity. Everything was easy to understand, and all the things were mentioned very clearly.

Oysterhr's website is quite easy to use. It's easy to fill up timesheets, request days needed and get all the information we need.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

Nothing to point out so far. The website has everything that I need right now.

**What problems is Oyster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, the only problem that Oyster is solving for me is the fact that I can work in Portugal and get a contract here without any problems, considering the company that I work for is Spanish/Danish. That's a huge benefit as I can be close to my family.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

Are not very familiar and cannot provide very common benefits provided by most employers to white color markets on the Swedish labour market. Do not appear well informed on how the labour market works in Sweden, focusing to much on applying to laws when in fact the very vast majority of rules regulations and benefits are determined by collective agreement which stipulates benefits, pensions, agreements on salary increase, insurance much more than the very low threshold that the legal frameworks implies. Hence applying only to legal requirements will make Oyster terms of employment less competitive.

I find the user interface of Oyster easy to use, with clear guidelines that make navigating the platform straightforward during onboarding. I really appreciate the prompt support; whenever I get stuck, I can always reach out to someone who resolves my issues pretty quickly. I recently had to upload documents, and the process was very straightforward thanks to the intuitive UI and clear guidelines. When I faced a brief issue during verification, my onboarding manager responded immediately and assisted me in resolving it, which made the overall experience smooth and stress-free. The initial setup was perfect, which adds to Oyster's appeal.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

There's an option on the homepage or dashboard to contact the onboarding manager, but that button doesn't seem to work. Since I already had her email, I was able to reach out to her directly for help. However, if someone doesn't have the email, it might be difficult for them to get support when that option isn't functional. I think this is something that could be improved. Also, I feel Oyster AI could be trained for better responses.

The whole platform is incredibly user-friendly with locally-relevant knowledge that makes understanding employing overseas more understandable. The help centre is clear, concise yet thorough, but most importantly I felt in very good hands with Raman throughout the journey. He always responded to my endless queries with patience and knowledge, whilst also being very approachable and supportive in our communications. In all honesty, although the platform itself is great, I would so freely recommend Oyster purely based on Raman's support.

I believe there was some conflicting information on the help centre to do with being able to hire if someone has a visa compared to what was discussed at one point, but Raman resolved this really quick (appeared to be an error on the web? Also appreciate that this legislation changes all the time)

Honestly nothing is coming to mind. I have had more challenges that successes switching to Oyster from another employer of record.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

Forced to submit tickets for every question and can never talk to a real person. This is my payroll and all benefits it's wild to not be able to talk to a human being about HR issues and personal time sensitive topics (health care, sick leave, PTO, pay, taxes). A colleague said they updated their address and never did it say to submit a ticket to let someone know. We received no training and there is not personal touch. We're a company focused on person-centered care which is ironic that we can even communicate with a person, just the app. I'm the first person hired by Oyster ever in my state so I don't feel they really know how to support me. Also they did not carry over any of my accrued time (i.e. sick time, years of service) from my previously employer of record AT THE SAME COMPANY. It's not up to the employees which EOR we have to work with, therefore we should not be penalized for a decision made above us.

Every step of the onboarding process was self explanatory and simple to understand. I was able to setup my account with my employer from another country with no difficulties.
The dashboard showed the current status of everything and details. Adding my bank account was easy and it was simple to add another account for expenses as well.
Payment processing status was displayed and useful.
Login security was also good, though I did not use 2 factor authentication as I used Single sign on instead (that already has 2FA enabled anyway). This integrates very well into my current workflow as I don't have to worry about too many usernames and passwords.

I haven't had to use customer support but the option was easily accessible.

**What do you dislike about Oyster?**

I couldn't use the mobile app as I get an error that my organisation has not enabled it. But I am able to access the web portal from mobile browser anyway - so that doesn't make sense.
Would have been useful to have the app active and give notifications as a status changes.
Without notifications(as I do not have app access), I have to open the browser every time I need to check the status. Hence I needed to check it multiple times a day to know if the form was processed.

Straightforward use, quick attention when rising requests and very transparent process.

At the moment I have 0 complaints about Oyster.

**What problems is Oyster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use to be an autonomos worker and since my company decided to use Oyster I don't have to worry about paperwork anymore. Is simpler to be a Oyster employee on the eyes of Spain and still have the flexibility to work to a different country's.

**What do you like best about Oyster?**

I really appreciate Oyster's platform for its capability to handle working contract logistics effectively, especially given the complexities of dealing with classic laws from each country. It's definitely a major advantage for me. The platform itself is fantastic, allowing me to easily record time off and extra time with no fuss. What stands out the most to me is the efficiency of the support team—whenever I raise a ticket, it gets solved really quickly. Additionally, the initial setup of Oyster was seamless, making it an easy tool to start using. I'm so satisfied with Oyster that I would highly recommend it to others; in fact, I'd rate my likelihood to recommend it a perfect 10.

Nothing until now, I have almost 2 years right now since working with oyster.

**What problems is Oyster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oyster simplifies working contract logistics by handling legal differences across countries. I find it beneficial for recording time off and solving issues quickly with its efficient ticket system.
