"Standards based learning tool with some major flaws for interacting with Parents"
What do you like best about Otus?

It is good for educating parents and students on standards based learning. System is fairly easy to use and understand if the student is meeting the standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Otus?

It's biggest downside is that it requires both the parent and the student be in the system on a consistant basis in order to understand how the student is doing. There is no push notifications to the parents. This makes it challenging for parents to collaborate with teachers in situations where standards are not being met and/or there are missing assessments. Parents need to login weekly or more to fully understand what is happening with their student. Often all is well so they don't login...except until things are not well and the teacher needs to email the parent to inform them. This creates extra work for the teacher and the parent. What do you like best about Otus?

I like all the options and added features Otus has. I like how it automatically saves the grades/points I enter in each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Otus?

When you are customizing standards. It takes about 5 steps to be able to enter the points for the standard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
