"NetSuite Betty Buzz Review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

We enjoy being able to create and save our own reports. It can be a bit complicated, so we’re investing extra time to learn more deeply what to include in specific reports in order to gain a clearer understanding of our financials and reconciliations.

In addition, when importing large amounts of data, the ability to create the specific file using previously updated templates is extremely helpful. It saves time and makes our monthly reporting process much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

When exporting NS reports, they are not always the easiest to handle when sending to excel. Could potentially have a better understanding of certain or unneeded data when promoting a system export.

The system can also be quite slow, taking a long time to load reports or even simple transactions such as saving sales orders or searching transactions in the global search bar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NetSuite Centralizes Multi-Subsidiary Finance for Better Visibility and Control"
4/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like best about NetSuite is that it gives us one centralized system to manage accounting, approvals, expenses, purchasing, and reporting across multiple subsidiaries. As we expand into different countries, it helps create better visibility, stronger controls, and a more organized workflow instead of relying on separate systems, spreadsheets, and manual follow-ups. What do you dislike about NetSuite?

There is not really anything that i dislike yet its something new that I have to get used to Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable Searches and Reports That Boost Financial Reporting"
4.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

The ability to create highly customizable searches and reports saves us a ton of time and significantly boosts my reporting capabilities. Additionally, being able to customize fields and build flows is key to helping our team tackle any new financial reporting challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The UI could be a little snappier, as we've built out our environment, it has started to bog down when loading any new pages, but perhaps this isn't the fault of the platform itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable and Reliable but Needs a Modern UI"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I use NetSuite as my main ERP and financial/inventory system because it solves a lot of problems like inventory management, financials, payables, and receivables. Having all the business processes under one platform makes things easy to find, dependable for reporting, and robust to rely upon. What I like most about NetSuite is how customizable it is. It may not be great at any one thing, but you can tailor it to your needs. We were the first retailer of our kind on NetSuite, and we molded it to match our business needs. We've since grown and expanded upon our usage of the software far beyond what we originally intended. NetSuite allows us to modify the system whenever we have a specific business need, like controlling order capacity and delivery scheduling, by creating custom records that fit our requirements. What do you dislike about NetSuite?

The UI is slow, clunky, and outdated. I'm hopeful that NetSuite Next (next generation UI) fixes those issues. Navigating between transactions or records can be cumbersome. There also is a pretty steep learning curve around the backend language - understanding how fields and records are joined can be challenging at first. For starters, the look could feel more modern. The current UI feels like it's from the mid-2010s, and it sometimes performs like it. Waiting on fields to populate, sublists to load, transactions to save - it all just feels slow. Creating records, while similar across verticals, could be streamlined. It wasn't that easy. We got lucky in that we had a functional consultant live local to our office in northern IL, but even then we took a staged approach to implementation. Financials first, then AP and purchasing, then sales, AR, and inventory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"NetSuite’s All-in-One Platform with Powerful Real-Time Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I like most about NetSuite is its all-in-one, cloud-based platform that unifies core business functions—financials, CRM, inventory, and reporting—into a single system. This eliminates the need for multiple disconnected tools and significantly improves data visibility and accuracy across the organization.

Another standout feature is its real-time reporting and dashboards, which make it easy to track key performance metrics and make informed decisions quickly. The ability to customize dashboards and reports to fit specific business needs is especially valuable.

I also appreciate NetSuite’s scalability and flexibility. As a business grows, the platform can adapt with additional modules and customizations, reducing the need for system replacements. Its automation capabilities—like streamlining financial processes, approvals, and workflows—help save time and reduce manual errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

While NetSuite is a powerful platform, there are a few drawbacks. One of the biggest challenges is its steep learning curve—the interface can feel complex and not very intuitive for new users, which often requires significant training to use effectively.

Another downside is the cost structure. Licensing, implementation, and customization can be expensive, especially for small or mid-sized businesses. Additional modules and users can quickly increase the overall cost.

Customization, while a strength, can also be a limitation. Advanced customizations often require technical expertise or external consultants, which adds time and expense. Similarly, making changes after implementation can be cumbersome.

Performance can sometimes be an issue as well—slow loading times or lag, especially for large datasets or reports, can impact user productivity.

Lastly, customer support can be inconsistent, with response times and resolution quality varying depending on the issue and support tier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Find Financials with Highly Customizable Reports and KPI Dashboards"
4/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like how easy it is to find your financial information. Finding the financial statements is very easy, and I like all of the customizations you can make to those reports. I also like the customer dashboards where they display various customer KPIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I think the reports/saved searches can be confusing sometimes. There seems to be so many different fields to choose from and I don't know what most of them are. There's also some reports that you would think would be easy to find but finding them turns out to be very hard and requires lots of customizations that the average user wouldn't know how to make. "Streamlined Accounting with a Clean Interface but Custom Reports Need Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

I like using NetSuite for my accounting, order processing, and shipping information because it allows me to use one system that covers all my backend accounting needs. The clean interface and the KPIs on the home page make things easy for me. When I log on to do my work, I can easily see my cash flow, bank balance, and other key items I need to keep track of. The initial setup was also very easy because NetSuite provided very good guidance and help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

I'm not a technical person and I struggle with building custom reports. I try to build custom reports on my own, but I never seem to get exactly what I need. I find the interface for this area cumbersome and confusing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Single, Connected Platform for Finance, CRM, and Multi-Subsidiary Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about NetSuite?

What I find most helpful about NetSuite is that it provides a single, connected platform for managing finance, subsidiaries, intercompany activity, CRM, and operational processes. The subsidiary structure is especially valuable for companies with multiple entities, currencies, and reporting needs. NetSuite also helps reduce the usual disconnect between finance, CRM, and manufacturing because the financial data is tied directly to the underlying transactions and operational activity. This makes it easier to trust the numbers, reduce reconciliation issues between systems, and get a more complete view of the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about NetSuite?

NetSuite’s biggest downside is that it can be complex and sometimes unintuitive for end users. Because it is highly configurable, the system can become difficult to manage if workflows, scripts, roles, integrations, and custom fields are not well governed. Reporting and permissions are powerful, but they can require training and administrative expertise. NetSuite works best when there is strong process ownership and ongoing system maintenance. The new AI features are solving some of this issue though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
