## OptiTune Reviews
  ### 1. OptiTune - perfect if you are on Windows only.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafal S. | Agile Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2023

**What do you like best about OptiTune?**

Ease of deployment. The package downloaded works very well (tested on different OS).
Easy of usage. All on one dashboard, easily accessible with two clicks.
The very clean design of the console helps a lot if you are starting from scratch.
Self-explanatory menu and functions and good online documentation - I had no reason to contact support.

**What do you dislike about OptiTune?**

It's very Windows/Mac-oriented. I have big portion of Linux devices in my environment so it is an issue to me.

**What problems is OptiTune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Endpoint health, performance, and security are collected in one place.
Also, installed applications inventory is useful.
I am using other similar products and reviewing another one in parallel, more asset inventory and patch-management oriented.
As of now, OptiTune seems sufficient vs one of the competitors and superior to tools being in use now.

  ### 2. Dependable way to manage computers remotely.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 14, 2023

**What do you like best about OptiTune?**

Optitune realy helps manage computers both locally and remotely. It makes it simple to see computer status, and remotely manage updates and solve problems.

**What do you dislike about OptiTune?**

There's not really anything I would currently complain about. It's feature rich, dependable, usable, and well priced. Older versions required a wide-screen monitor to look good, but site is currently reactive to smaller screens.

**What problems is OptiTune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows management of local and remote computers, and provides at-a-glance status of all connected devices. It reduces maintanence time by overseeing updates, and allowing smooth remote desktop use. It's easy to use, fulfills all my needs, and the company is very responsive to requests.

  ### 3. Great for MSP’s just starting out

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie L. | Small Business MSP, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**What do you like best about OptiTune?**

Optitune has a great set of tools that any MSP starting out will need. Remote monitoring, Remote Desktop, user friendly customizable agent, remote script execution. They also have software sponsorship where they will give you 300 seats for a year for free if you just starting out.

**What do you dislike about OptiTune?**

There's no integrated chat function to be able to message individual workstations, or quick message specific clients. This was the deal breaker for me. A simple integrated chat function is a MUST. There is also no mobile application, and while they claim that the site is mobile friendly, I would agree that it loads in a mobile browser but its the desktop version loading in a mobile browser. Not exactly friendly

**What problems is OptiTune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote monitoring and management of my clients assets. The software adds so much value, especially when compared the cost of implementing, liscensing, and maintenance.

  ### 4. I can manage a network from anywhere

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** koech B. | Data Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2019

**What do you like best about OptiTune?**

Optitune is cloud based which means I can access it from anywhere as long as I have an internet connection. With Optitune I can see the general status of monitored computers. It also automatically manage updates and notifies me through text of any arising issues. I like the Remote Assistance feature which give the ability to debug computers from a different location.

**What do you dislike about OptiTune?**

Needs a large screen otherwise you’ll have to use the scroll bar on smaller screens. It is not available in other languages.

**Recommendations to others considering OptiTune:**

Optitune being affordable while its features matching those of its expensive alternatives is what makes me recommend it.

**What problems is OptiTune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to work remotely is both time and money saving. Optitune is also cheap compared to its alternatives.

  ### 5. All your software and hardware under control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban G. | Ventas, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2019

**What do you like best about OptiTune?**

What I like most about OptiTune is the possibility of remote access; since it operates in the cloud, you can always access it from anywhere you have Internet access and from any device.

It basically functions as a centralized database of all the hardware, software, and location of the monitored equipment in real-time, which alerts you to any security or operational issues: a server disconnection, a malware infection, the existence of important updates...

The support service is very efficient and responds quickly to any questions you may have.

**What do you dislike about OptiTune?**

What should be improved is that it does not suggest sites from which to download specific drivers identified as necessary. In addition to identifying those drivers, it would be good if it offered links to download them.

**Recommendations to others considering OptiTune:**

It is compatible with iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, PC, or Mac, so you can use it from any device, and its price is very affordable.

**What problems is OptiTune solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the most interesting features is the SMS notifications when there is a problem; if you enable them, it allows you to act immediately in the face of any incident to correct it without delay, or if necessary, you can quickly notify the staff responsible for this task.
