"Game-Changing Asset Management with QR Codes and a Fast, Intuitive Mobile App"
What do you like best about Coast?

The most valuable part of Coast is the asset management system combined with the QR code functionality. In a massive manufacturing plant being able to scan a piece of equipment and instantly see its entire work order history is a game changer. The maintenance scheduling and planning tools are also very intuitive which has allowed us to move from reactive repairs to a much more stable preventive maintenance model. The mobile app is exceptionally fast and my technicians actually enjoy using it because the usability is so straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The platform is very robust but I would love to see even deeper integrations with our legacy procurement software for the parts inventory section. However the current system for automating inventory updates works flawlessly and has already reduced our manual entry errors by a significant margin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finally a mobile first maintenance tool that the team actually uses"
What do you like best about Coast?

After trying a few similar tools in this space this is easily the best UI I have seen. The mobile app is where Coast really stands out because it is built for people who are actually on the floor rather than just behind a desk. The high quality personalization of the work orders makes it easy to tailor the system to our specific site needs. I also appreciate the strong signals we get from the maintenance reporting which helps us catch issues before they become expensive. The team is amazing and responsive whenever we have a question about setting up new asset management folders and the deep integration with our CRM workflows has kept our data very clean. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The parts inventory module has so many fields that it took us a moment to decide which ones were mandatory for our specific workflow. It is very robust but you definitely want to spend an hour or two planning your maintenance scheduling and planning layout before you start importing your entire catalog. "Straightforward Fleet Spending Control With Real-Time Visibility"
What do you like best about Coast?

What stood out to me first was how straightforward it is to control and monitor spending across drivers and vehicles. Once cards are issued, it becomes easy to set limits, restrict certain purchase types, and see transactions almost immediately. For organizations that manage multiple vehicles or fields teams, that level of visibility makes a noticeable difference.

I also appreciate that the platform doesn't feel overly complicated. The interface is simple enough that finance teams and operations managers can both understand what's happening without needing a lot of training. From my perspective working in customer focused technology environments, tools that remove friction for internal teams tend to get adopted faster, and Coast seems to do that fairly well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

Like many newer fintech platforms, there are still area where the reporting and customization could go a bit deeper. Some teams might want more flexibility when exporting data or integrating it with other financial systems.

There are also moments where certain workflows feel slightly limited depending on how complex your fleet operations ae. it works well for straightforward spending control, but organizations with very advanced fleet analytics requirements may still rely on additional tools alongside it. "QR Codes Made Equipment Work Orders Instant and Foolproof"
What do you like best about Coast?

We printed codes for every piece of equipment in every location. The QR code system changed everything for us. Fryers, freezers, ice machines, walk in coolers, HVAC units. Now when something acts up, staff scan the code and submit a work order instantly with the exact equipment identified. No more guessing or describing which fryer in which corner. The mobile app is simple enough that restaurant managers with zero maintenance background can use it without training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The system integrated directly with our POS or inventory systems. We have to manually enter some data that could flow automatically. Also, getting all 45 locations set up with QR codes took some legwork upfront. Worth it, but it was a project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Optimizing Operational Workflows with the Same Precision We Apply to Search."
What do you like best about Coast?

As someone who lives in project management tools, I’m impressed by Coast’s user adoption rate within our field teams. In SEO, we value structure and clear "crawling" of tasks; Coast provides exactly that for physical operations. The QR code integration is the standout feature for me it acts like a physical backlink to an asset’s entire history. Our team can instantly access manuals and past work orders, which has eliminated the "information lag" that usually stalls high-paced projects. It’s intuitive, mobile-friendly, and requires almost zero learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

From a strategic growth perspective, I’d like to see more robust White-labeling options or client-facing portals. While it’s excellent for internal team coordination, having a way to share specific "read-only" progress dashboards with external stakeholders or clients would add another layer of value to our reporting. Additionally, more advanced sorting filters in the mobile app’s search function would help when dealing with hundreds of active assets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlining Operational Data Architecture with a Flexible, Mobile-First Schema."
What do you like best about Coast?

From an architectural standpoint, Coast’s most impressive feature is its underlying data flexibility. It doesn't force you into a rigid, "one-size-fits-all" database structure. The ability to build custom workflows and work order templates means we can map the tool to our specific operational logic. I’m particularly impressed with the QR-code-to-asset mapping. As a data architect, I value how this creates a clean, direct link between physical hardware and its digital twin/history, ensuring data accuracy at the point of entry and minimizing human error during manual logging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

While the frontend is highly intuitive, I would like to see a more robust Open API documentation and native connectors for major Data Lake environments. Currently, syncing high-volume operational metadata to external analytical warehouses requires a bit more manual configuration than I’d prefer. Expanding the depth of their webhook triggers would also allow for more complex, automated data-driven events across our enterprise tech stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Secure and Transparent Ecosystem for Operational Risk Management."
What do you like best about Coast?

In the cybersecurity domain, we emphasize accountability and "Audit Trails." Coast excels here by providing a centralized, transparent log of every work order and maintenance activity. The centralized communication within each task ensures that sensitive operational data isn't scattered across insecure messaging apps or personal emails. I also appreciate the role-based access control (RBAC) features, which allow us to manage permissions effectively, ensuring that technicians only access the data relevant to their specific tasks. This level of oversight is critical for maintaining internal security standards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

From a security standpoint, I would like to see more advanced MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication) options and more detailed activity logs specifically for administrative changes. While the platform is very secure for day-to-day use, adding more robust single sign-on (SSO) integrations for smaller tiers would enhance the overall security posture for growing firms that prioritize identity management. "Dynamic Operations Management that Scales with our Workflow Automation."
What do you like best about Coast?

As someone focused on automation and growth, what I appreciate most about Coast is its API flexibility and the seamless communication loop it creates. We needed a tool that wasn't just a static database but a living workflow. The ability to set up automated reminders for recurring tasks has eliminated the manual follow-ups that used to drain our team's productivity. The mobile-first approach is also a huge win being able to attach photos and voice notes directly to a work order ensures that nothing gets lost in translation between the field and the office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The platform is very flexible, which is great, but the reporting dashboard could be a bit more granular. I’d love to see more advanced filtering options for long-term trend analysis, specifically around resource allocation efficiency. It’s not a dealbreaker, as the core functionality is solid, but it would help from a high-level strategic growth perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Flexible Maintenance Platform with Time Saving QR Codes"
What do you like best about Coast?

The flexibility is what sold us. We evaluated several maintenance platforms, and most forced us into rigid workflows that didn't match how our teams operate in the field. Coast lets us customize everything from work order forms to dashboards to automated alerts. The QR code feature alone has saved our technicians hours each week. They just scan a code on an asset and instantly see its history, manuals, and upcoming maintenance. The mobile app is intuitive and works flawlessly even in areas with spotty connectivity, which was a non negotiable for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The initial setup took more time than we anticipated because we wanted to take full advantage of the customization options. While their support team was incredibly helpful, I would love to see more industry specific templates like for commercial HVAC or elevator maintenance to speed up the onboarding process for new customers. Also, a few deeper integrations with accounting software would be nice for tracking costs, though we have found workarounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Operational Integrity Meets Security Compliance"
What do you like best about Coast?

As a security leader, what I value most about Coast is its unparalleled ability to create a single, auditable, and real-time system of record for all physical and digital asset maintenance, which directly translates into enhanced security posture by eliminating undocumented, ad-hoc work and providing immutable proof of compliance for critical security controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coast?

The platform's initial integration with our existing IT Service Management (ITSM) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems required more custom API development and mapping effort than anticipated, creating a temporary but significant overhead for my team to achieve the seamless bidirectional data flow we needed for holistic security monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
