**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

Omnilytics is helpful to see where your brands are positioned vs competitors (and even non competitors). Data provided can go as far back where you can identify what are the changes over the years and what is the current behavior which can give us an idea what should be our possible actions. It's good to see where our competitors our because it can help us arrive to a conclusion to as why our performing a certain way.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

I find it a bit overwhelming that there are plenty of functions in each analysis page. However, I understand that it has a purpose if we want to go as deep as possible in terms of getting the data that we want.

**What problems is Omnilytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior the pandemic, we had to go to the stores for competitor checking in my previous jobs. The dashboard allows to do all of these in the comfort of our own homes which makes our work efficient. We can make an analysis by using the dashboard.

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

It is very intuitive and useful for competitor analysis, especially when tracking down their product performance with stock allocation VS sell-out rate. Aside from being a game-changing tool, the support and education was plenty. Our client manager Kate Ng was very initiative and detailed in her explanation. Her questions are purposeful to help clients drill down to what those numbers mean (and where to find them).

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

There is a module that allows you to peak at competitor store layout on dotcom and newsletter. Unfortunately, if the competitor has a welcome pop-up on their store, Omnilytics captures it and blocks the main banner.
It would also be great if it can track marketplaces but I heard it's already in the pipeline as an upcoming feature.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnilytics:**

Omnilytics's edge is in competitor/product analysis. Details can go granular with fashion categories, patterns, colour, sizes, sales channel and more. While it is intuitive, I suggest you explore their free articles/videos to see how it exactly works and whether it fits your requirements.

**What problems is Omnilytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In general, competitor product performance and what those products look like.
Visual capture of what those competitor products look like does make a difference; because if you only look at numbers, you might miss out on why bags (for eg.)  are doing well for Competitor Brand XYZ (perhaps unique silhouette, or collaboration)

At its core, Omnilytics does allow me to find out my assortment's advantages and disadvantages. It's essential for testing out your assumptions before launching a category campaign or merchandisers buying for next season

Trend performance feature in Omnilytics is helping me so much to see the fashion trend from various categories (Material, Price range, colors, etc), hence helping us to use it as base decision making.

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

I like the competitor benchmarking and trend performance as it helps us be aware of what is happening beyond the brands we're handling and where are we in terms of our competitors. It helps analyze and provide recommendations to our clients as well as e-commerce enabler.

When I first tried, it was a bit hard to navigate and filter the data. There were instances as well of data inaccuracy which can possibly affect one's analysis.

It helps us validate some of the existing best practices we're currently doing and expand our knowledge on our competitors. We used the data to be more competitive in the industry and our competitors.

Improvement point is in terms of visual merchandising, because I think visual merchandising is also an important part in the retail industry. More insights in terms of visual merchandising

It help us understand how our competitors move in the market. It benefitted us in terms of, we can see the industry benchmarks. How should we discount items, when should we discount items etc

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

I could easily gather insights on product designs that are relevant to the market demand. The replenishment information under the stock status has been a great help in providing visibility on the market responsiveness towards the particular SKU. I also could perform price comparison to understand my brand price positioning vs competitor, to activate more competitive pricing to my targeted customer.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

Initially, I'm unsure which data point to look into as there are too many functions within an analysis page. However with the advice of starting my analysis with a clear goal and question in mind, I could still navigate the dashboard efficiently to gather the Trend and Pricing related competitive data.

**What problems is Omnilytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Omnilytics I could identify the uptrending categories in real-time. With this information, I could decide the desired category to invest in future production. The pricing analysis also helps me to plan more effectively on my design production cost.

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

Very insighful and resourceful for getting different data on competitors products. This is very helpful when entering a new market where such data makes a huge difference. Our client manage Kate is very helpful and attentive in helping us to get the correct data for our analysis.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

The filter section was kind of confusing at first, but after several trial and error, it does come in handy for our search. One thing that might be good to improve is the categorization of each product.

Great place to get lots of data, just need more time and practice to get used to it.

almost nothing, only a few products fall into a different category view, maybe because they are similar

Trade Performance and Trend Analysis Menu.
in here we can compare across brands to the level of Categories, as well as the price, discount and what's working or not (sell out)
We can also view the trend from categories level to certain atribute such as Color, Size, pattern.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

Not be able to see the real SKU potential,
I'd like to be able to see whether that certain SKU is performing well or not (in terms of qty sold)

and sometimes some product is not well categorized or not using the appropriate fashion term.

YOOOOOOOW....
if you are looking for quantitative data from external view of your industry (fashion), this tool is perfect! not only it can give you comprehensive analysis from Retail perspective, both will provide you with data and also qualitative aspect (images and such). it's also easy to use and the support team is also super helpful. Yes they are not perfect yet, but the fact that they are open for any suggestion and continuously improving the system is something I really appreciate.

Provide a better understanding in terms of different brand's new launches, assortment planning, pricing and markdown strategies as well as promotions. The platform itself is easy to navigate and it did not take long for me to understand how it works and the logic behind it.

No exact quantities are available from the solution but it is totally understandable due to violation of business law. I could make do with the SKU level information. Other than that, there is no significant area that I dislike at the moment!

The competitor benchmarking, trend analysis and industry reports are very helpful since ecommerce is an increasingly competitive landscape and us being an enabler that provides end-to-end ecommerce solutions to clients, our handled accounts must remain competitive to stay ahead of the game.

Since Omnilytics is still new and adapting, the accuracy of reports and the dashboard are needed to improve.

Not so relevant in the digital ecommerce marketing scope where the Visual Merchandising portion may not be insightful enough.

Pricing strategy for the business across the marketplaces now that we are looking to expand the business distribution points online. With omnilytics, i can see how other brands and our own brand stand and identify where the gap is.

i love it when I can figure out what was competitor doing in a periodic time. so we can track how are they movement, and analyze what we need to do. with a very clear data about brands including product, pricinng, competitor benchmarking, it helps us a lot. thankyou omnilytics!

Its a bit annoying when we find the sell out data that provided by omnilytics is not about amount of the product but amount of the SKU.

Tips from weekly emails and active Client Success Team support is helpful to me. Ain will listen to my problems and what I hope to achieve for my online sales, she will then suggest what is relevant and show me how to navigate the system to view the outcome. The dashboard can be quite confusing when we don't use it for some time. Thus the filters which can be saved easily and easily retrievable at the dashboard makes it much easier.

It would be great if Trend Performance module can be viewed without upgrade.

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

Omnilytics has a wide database that covers the regional and international e commerce trends and consumer habits. These trends and data can be distilled easily with the well defined metric that can be filtered easily. Insights to how popular and sellable is a particular type of product is useful for us in designing our products. This helps businesses like us to plan for our resources in where to retail, how to price our items, how to market and sell them and what kind of products to make more of.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

There are many metrics involved and so it could be daunting for first time users like us. As of now, in the analysis of trends in colours, There was no way to tell if the colour is attributable to the metal or the gemstone. This would be useful for our type of products - gemstone earrings. Thankfully, we had Omnilytics staff to hand hold us and orientate us and help us with the on onboarding.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnilytics:**

I would encourage first time users to have your hands on and try the various metrics to get as much insights as possible in the various trends.

**What problems is Omnilytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to spot what is trending in jewellery and what are popular in the various e commerce retailer sites. Knowing what sells and what does not in established brands help us project what is possible for our own business. Analysing data across regions will definitely be useful for any business looking forward to expand overseas as with our future plans.

With Omnilytics, we can see all the detailed information of our competitors from pricing, assortment up to its top-selling materials and patterns. We can also see the seasonal trend of the specific categories and retailers that help us further understand business results better and improve our decision-making as we learn with more information on hand provided by Omnilytics.  What makes it even better is that this is all done in one website via Omnilytics which makes our work more efficient and productive.

Some downsides is that it cannot currently filter out counterfeit products which sort of distort the data derived for a specific brand. Also, there are some fashion brands that are not yet available on Omnilytics. Lastly, some data charts and graphs from the site cannot be exported as is and still needs to be sorted and arranged once exported.

None at the moment, the solution has provided insightful guidance thus far to monitor competition effectively and identifying the right trends to product for the local market.

Omnilytics has given me great insights to make better and more informed decisions on new collection launches and assortment, pricing, promotions as well as marketing strategies. The academy, fashion journey and industry reports are great resources for me to do a deep dive into the fashion industry. They are easy to understand and implement.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

Sales and data are only based on e-commerce which means they can be skewed as some brands are bigger in their brick and mortar business.

**What problems is Omnilytics solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understanding the needs and styles that consumers are looking out for could be a challenge. Omnilytics helps me to better identify them as well as the ideal price points that we should sell them at.

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

Omnilytics helped us tremendously during our training session on the design journey recently. I particularly like the Trend Performance module. This module observes the changes in categories facilitating trend prediction through the review of pattern & colour distribution, pattern analysis and colour analysis.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

1. There is no forecast of future trend. 
2. We need to filter many layers before we get to the right report.
3. No initial indication of specific usage for individual department e.g. VM module is for marketing and Trend performance for design development department etc.

Omnilytics is an excellent analytic tool for fashion market trend both regional and overseas. It is particularly helpful if you are trying to understand the trends within your market.

Our goal is to find out what is trending and the sell-through performance of competitors brands. Analysing data across regions is beneficial.

Website is intuitive, easy to navigate. Help from the support team is readily available. Great focus is place on their onboarding to ensure we are well-informed on how to use the platform. Data available are from renowned, recognisable brands which yields valuable insights to what does the market demands. Besides this, I also find good value in their research paper and academy section.

To use the data meaningfully, you will need to know what filters to use. There are plenty of possible selection criteria, it can be a challenge. But the support team is there to help you. Requires practice.

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

Trend performance module. We could observe the change in price, stock status, categories, and colors throughout the duration of time of each particular fashion brand. It also provides a further breakdown of pattern and color contribution across markets and brands. This information helps me significantly in making decisions for future projects.

Rather than dislike, it is a module which not required by me at this moment ie. Fashion Academy module. The reason being it may help a lot to market and business planning but not on gathering design inspirations and understanding trend performance which is more crucial for a designer.

With the visibility of external trend data in the global market, I could potentially identify the uptrending categories and designs relevant to my target market. At the same time, enable me to minimise the venture into risky designs and colors. The insights gained from Omnilytics help me to make more commercially driven design decision.

It's super user friendly, the features are very straight forward. So for beginners who does not have prior experience in using data, Omnilytics will be a great place to start! Also when you know exactly what you are looking for it makes finding the right data easier.

Some brands are not present in certain countries, would be great to have a complete list of retailers and brands including their brand.com

I would say I do come to Omnilytics to look at competitors benchmarking the most. It helps so much in understanding how well my portfolio is doing in other marketplaces and compare to their performance to see where can be improved. As for the trend performance I mainly use it in order to acquire new brands and look into what selections of styles are affecting the sales of my portfolio.

The dashboard is easy to navigate and some of the tools like "Competitor Benchmarking" & "Calendar" are really cool.  Omnilytics provides extensive and useful insights to fashion market and allow brand owners to make sound business decision based on relevant live data. The trainers (a.k.a Customer Success Team) of Omnilytics are knowledgeable, organised and patient during onboarding sessions.

Omnilytics focuses on fashion industry only. The tools & interface were built to analyse competitors in the fashion world. It will be great if the software company can expand these capabilities to other industries.

**What do you like best about Omnilytics?**

As a new omnylitics user, initially I was a bit overwhelmed looking at the data. But with very helpful 1-0-1 sessions with their consultants on how to read and interpret and it  gets extremely easy to sift through all the numbers and derive sales scenarios. It's amazing how every data point has more data behind it. You can use as much or as little as you need. Sales projections, pricing strategy, distribution stratagey are just some of the cases i have use omnylitycs for. It has been the best resources so far, especially for data during pandemic.

**What do you dislike about Omnilytics?**

I have not found anything to dislike so far. To a person who is not used to reading data, it appears  intimidating at first, to face so many numbers, but gradually with guided coaching by their consultants and also a bit of practice, it actually gets very intuitive.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnilytics:**

If someone has the  opportunity to sign up for Omnilytics, they must definitely do without any hesitation.  The platform has truly taken out the guess work of making business decisions , leading up to a more efficient, streamlined and so profitable business model.

It helps me with my pricing strategy the most, besides also the promotion/discounting plans and distribution strategy. The best this is, that it takes the guess work out of doing business. All decisions are now based on data rather than a hunch or gut feeling that something will work.

Sometimes it can be overwhelming due to a lot of feature and everything. I think for fashion designer, they are relying more to vogue.com or pinterest to source for the trendboard. Sometimes, the data gathered on the omnilytics are also not totally valid, since we can't know exactly how many items they produce / display on the website, so we don't really know whether a products is truly sellout, or maybe due to low production qty the products sell out fast.

**Recommendations to others considering Omnilytics:**

I think for a big ecommerce relying on data, Omnilytics can be a very helpfull software to gather all the data needed to deciding on which strategy they want to apply to their products / marketing.

I think omnilytics helps me the most on deciding the price point needed for the products that we sell. Because we want our price to just right, not too above or below the market.
