## Nintex Reviews
  ### 1. The best process mapping tool I've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim P. | Senior Sharepoint Consultant and Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I'm a process nerd and I've never come across a better tool for building, communicating, and managing organizational processes across multiple departments. It's an awesome and easy to use tool, when the appropriate attention is given to planning and implementing a process center of excellence in your organization. Promapp is worth every minute of time invested in getting your organization's processes mapped and communicated so you're able to practice continuous improvement without "reinventing the wheel" every time a change is required.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There isn't anything I dislike. Promapp is very user friendly.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company is growing and continuous improvements can no longer fall on individuals to own multiple roles in the organization. Promapp is helping us better understand and document our business processes and grow our company.

Since K2 provides its own structure of making business rules, at time it becomes difficult integrate lot of changes.

  ### 8. Powerful and Expensive

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua M. | Business Applications & Security Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

This is a really powerful tool for creating very complex workflows that integrate with a variety of other solutions. For the most part it just works.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

While it just works most of the time, there are a few gotchas that you will learn over time. Some popular things like Flexitasks are time consuming to flesh out and over time I have identified ways to optimize and modularize the workflows. One simple thing to do is keep all your email messages in a separate list and lookup the message you need. That way if you need to change an email, you don't need to re-publish the workflow.

There is also vendor lock in. If you don't pay maintenance, your workflows stop working. It is not like you just went unsupported, no. Your stuff is broken if you don't keep paying for maintenance.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Watch out for lock in.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've done a lot of complex routing for approvals concerning deliverables to customers, Request for Personnel approvals, and stuff like that.

  ### 9. Be As Creative As Want

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William J. | Business Services Analyst II - AVP, Banking, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

If you are a "What If" person, this will work for you. What if we could open this program and save the value stored here and what if we could capture this row and save it to a new spreadsheet? I have yet to use the more advanced targeting that this version employs.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Still getting used to the large splash screen...

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Use the Foxtrot team. They respond quickly and have the answers through experience what will get you going.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a program that offers real time money transfers. Our issue was quickly identifying high profile customers and pushing those transfers to the top of our queue. Foxtrot allowed us to monitor, capture and report on any high profile accounts in the queue and send an email alerting the staff. Pretty nice.

  ### 10. Enterprise level workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability to create complex workflows which can meet complex business requirements which is not achievable with SharePoint designer workflows.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Nintex should add more control for error handling, such as try and catch blocks otherwise the workflow just causes an error on any exception.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Spend time at the start of the workflow to filter data out that can potentially causes errors in the workflow.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating complex business processes for Document Reviews and notification business processes which emails users and requests forms and documents to be completed.

  ### 11. It just works

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The freedom with which I can grab data from anywhere using point and click but also soql

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our contract creation that is sent to docusign

The best feature is the fact that you can automate practically anything that you do on a day-to-day basis. In doing this you are saving you company both time and money.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There are still a few programsalong with a few websites out there that do not communicate well with foxtrot. When we run into them we still need to do those manually.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Setup and use the demo before purchasing. This will show you what you can and cannot use with foxtrot.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

i am able to pull hundreds of loan files everyday that need to be reviewed and saved. I have also been able to pull spreadsheets with customers information on it and format it into the needed format in order for it to be imported into the needed progams.

  ### 14. K2 Platform has Made the Process of Automation Easier and More Effective in our Firm.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William M. | Assistant Strategist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Eventually, I used K2 Platform for a little time, but I found this software extremely functional and very helpful. With K2 Platform, most of the business operations are made easier and more effective. Again, I liked the total commitment and help offered by the support group of K2 Platform. The software is easy to install, set up, and execute, and also, it successfully integrates with other software. Furthermore, I found K2 Platform mobile friendly, and this makes it easy to automate most of the business operations from any location.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Nonetheless, the report feature of K2 Platform is somehow outdated, and tis means, the vendor should think of improving it to solve the needs of the customers. Again, I would recommend the developer to incorporate some themes to K2 Platform so that is looks more enticing.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

K2 Platform is very recommendable for DPA roles. The software will largely increase on your productivity, and this will make your customers more satisfied.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We imlemented K2 Platform for the purpose of automating most of the business operations. As a result, we increased on our results, and our organization became more productive and successful.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

When I need to circle steps it troublesome and I am confronting issues when extraction customer information from exceed expectations.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

First check what you might want to computerize and check whether it gives the devices important to the activity. See recordings. I would recommend.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Exceed expectations perusing and composing. Receipt creation in stock administration for various clients. Web structure filling for customer enlistment. Furthermore, customer demands for items.
Better utilization of the time profitability when you stop to squander your time doing redundant undertaking.

  ### 17. great and prompt support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramesh Y. | Senior Technical Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The support staff are very prompt to respond and to work on the issue. We had few issues earilier when we raised the DDP case, there was an immediate response. We have provided the Nintex support Team the access to our ORG and they have identified the issue and informed us the best possible solution, which sorted the things out. During another issue we have raised a DDP case and the support team has reached us. We have provided them the access to our ORG but they could not able to login as a particular user. . We have asked them to schedule a call and they did it over go-to meeting and presented the issue. The support team member tried to resolve the issue but she needed an expert advice on it so, the support team member informed us the same and she scheduled a call adding a Drawloop technical expert and we have explained him the same and he is able to provide us some possible solution. This is much appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

We are contacting the Nintex support Team through mails. Hope we get a portal to raise nintex tickets.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

It is a great platform for send the attachments by creating packages

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Issues related to Drawloop. People tend to pull the experts into the calls when they are not able to resolve the issue, which is very helpful and even makes us get better knowledge on how the DDP works.

  ### 18. Easy to learn, hard to master

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kathryn W. | Operations Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The platform - the design of the homepage. I enjoy all the connectors, too. There are a lot of options when it comes to building the worklow. It is easy to begin. Perfect for simple solutions or a large corporation that does the same thing over and over again..

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Not a large enough community yet to work problems out with. It seems we are one of the first customers. Sometimes the updates interrupt what I was learning to do. Some of the tools aren't exactly easy to understand without reading the white pages. It can be hard to schedule a time to talk out a problem. Needs more security on the forms when starting. Also wish I could copy a form and use that as a template.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Really understand the timeline it takes to really get to know the product. Ask how many people have been successful so far.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More efficient workflows. Better communication between team members. Creates more accountability for each of us. Things are becoming more fluid. Less guessing on what to do.

  ### 19. Best Documnet generation package in salesforce

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debasis J. | Salesforce developer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The simplicity how we configure the content to generate as document and the performance and flexibility with usage of just outbound message to invoke service to generate documents in salesforce.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Sometime, usage of complex query which is not working smoothly.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Allow to generate document with more complex query, where we can bring any level of relationship data and also we can bring self relationship data easily.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are generating required documents for our business process which are need to be send to customer .

  ### 20. Awesome tool for automating light weight project

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Able to scrape info from Website that would otherwise need IT professionals to apply API or heavy web-scraping coding to have the project done.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

It's not Foxtrot's fault, but when interacting with website, other factors kicks in, making the script unstable.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

I personally code Python, SQL and VBA, so I have enough technical background to use this product at the advanced-level, the only reason I'm using Foxtrot is to grab info from website that I have not enough knowledge in. But the most amazing thing is that this product is like a platform that consolidate/formalize data from different sources and interact with different applications, especially SQL SERVER, ACCESS, and Excel. Would be better if Foxtrot can parse text from PDF files. I code Python to parse PDF but some are not parsable due to the way the PDF was generated, and hoped Foxtrot could help here, but unfortunately Foxtrot can only parse text based on "positions" rather than on "object" as a whole. But it's a tool, which would be perfect for all use. So generally I'm very happy with Foxtrot, no complaints, it does what I need it to.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to grab info from vendor portal websites without looping in IT team.

  ### 21. Foxtrot is an great, useful tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I love the ability to script these repeating task and be able to lock down scripts so that we can adhere to the change policy we have at my organization. We are able to save a ton of time when changing a large number of records in our system.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Sometime support can not be the absolute best, I have asked for commands in the past which support was unaware of but I was able to locate with additional research.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Spend some time getting use to all the features in FT. If you don't use all the features then you are missing out on a large portion of the functionality of the system.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We mainly use FT to script repeating task on our systems, mainly a 5250 IBM Emulator Terminal. We have been able to make changes that would have taken days, or weeks, to do manually into a time span of 90 minutes. Of course there was the initial script development time but the new W2 time spent on this task is far less than it would be without FT.

  ### 22. Task Automation at it's finest!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability to take our mundane daily tasks and data entry projects and automate them has helped our organization immensely!

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Sometimes Foxtrot has minor issues interacting with our core banking platform. Enablesoft has been willing to adapt and work with me on it so versions of Foxtrot are making improvements.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Enablesoft is constantly looking to improve the product. They are great at taking feedback and enhancing the Foxtrot software as they can. Case in point is version 14.0.2. Their lead programmer worked directly with me to gather some information to assist in enhancing the version.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time and money with daily mundane tasks and larger data entry projects. The initial project we purchased Foxtrot for saved us at least 80 hours of employee time on a large data entry project. We also have quite a few daily and weekly tasks set up to run via Foxtrot through Windows Task Scheduler.

  ### 23. Excellent tool for automating maintenance tasks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose S. | VP - Business Intelligence & Big Data Manager, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

This is an outstanding tool to create automation for manual tasks. It has enabled us to offload manual work processed from several departments into automated scheduled tasks. It also has enabled us to stop relying on IT resources for mass maintenance tasks and allowed us to do it in a Native way which is tracked as normal entries by the system instead of a programming job. The platform has a very robust set of options and features for interaction with all sorts of programs from mainframe, web as well as most windows native programs.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The platform lacks some key features on the mainframe side such as wait for system response to move forward with the script. Often times the script moves faster than the platform can respond which causes the program to crash and the mainframe platform to stall. If it weren't for this we would execute a lot of our programs up to twice as fast.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Use the trial period and also ask them for a demo and proof of concept. Pretty great tool.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Account mass maintenances, platform maintenances, daily report executions. We have been able to create automated executions of highly manual tasks and have been able to free up resources to do their jobs. Additionally, automating the tasks reduce the human interaction with the platforms and thus reduce errors in data input. Additionally, we have been able to create automation for mass maintenance tasks such as account (parameters, product types, etc) as well as customer (branch and rep codes, etc) and been able to execute them internally without the engagement of IT which has enabled us to do it in a very quick turnaround time. Further, since it simulates keystrokes, there is always an audit trail of whatever process was completed since there is no need for a backend programmatic approach that leaves no trace. Instead, we are able to use our regular maintenance reports and logs to track all changes made with the scripts.

  ### 24. Most Accurate Capturing Elements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anjaneyulu M. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy to record any activity with most accurate compare to remain RPA tools.
Am very satisfied with efficient form elements capturing algorithm implemented in Kryon.
Excel/Data table extraction is very good and clean with high accuracy.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

When i want to loop steps it very difficult. Please provide training videos with lab exercise. Am facing problems when extraction client data from excel and fill web form, here i have multiple client data so i need loop 10 steps.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Looping of multiple steps is breaking loop and force through into loop again.
Please provide more training videos on Academy portal

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Excel reading and writing
Invoice creation in inventory management for different users
Web form filling for client registration. And client requests for products.

  ### 25. Simplifying process mapping

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

A easy to use, nice looking, workflow and performance mapping tool.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Being as customizable as it is, it can become quite confusing when starting out.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While I like other products better as they offer more functionality, Nintex offers a great way to organize processes

  ### 26. Invaluable tool to save time and money

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana S. | AVP Loan Operations Manager, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

It was very intuitive to learn and set up. We have found countless ways to use it and discover more every week.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Nothing. It does great when using a table for decision making. It would be nice if it could make intuitive decisions. The nice thing is that these except out and our highly skilled humans can make the decision on those few.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

This is by far the best software product we have purchased in several years. It paid for itself in our first project.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have used Foxtrot extensively to clean up data after a core conversion. We have saved thousands of man hours in labor as well as bottom line dollars by eliminating inactive accounts we are charged for monthly. We use it daily to run Business Analytics reports and email them to appropriate staff - a totally hands off process now!

  ### 27. Be prepared for the day someone else does your job

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Merryl H. | Team Leader Rating, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Promapp allows every process to be as simple or as detailed as you need it to be.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There is nothing I dislike. The more I use it the better I will get at refining my processes.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team is using Promapp to record how to do our jobs in preparation for the day we are not here to do it. We can link to documents for the really complex tasks or complete a simple process for the less complicated parts of our jobs.
I also use Promapp as a first port of call if I need to know how to do something else outside of my direct area of responsibility.

  ### 28. Excellent document generation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

We can dynamically pull information from Salesforce and merge to Word, Powerpoint and PDF files

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

There is limited functionality for cross object generation. We've had use some workarounds in Salesforce to get the data that we need. I would also like to see a way to create field name aliases to have smaller merge tags.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

The tool is powerful and it gets the job done. I would make the API names for the fields very small as this is what you'll have to type out on your document as tags to replace.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The generation of documents has reduced the manual workload for generating proposals for customers by automating the boring stuff.

  ### 29. Nintex Drawloop DocGen for Salesforce Experienced Review

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

As Group IT Business Solution Manager i got the chance to experienced Nintex In my company for years, the good about the product are the following:
- Is very easy to learn and very easy to use all its features
- You can easily merge many fields from Salesforce because the system is very powerful and robust
- Lets talk also about the package, it's complete to help completely the Salesforce
- Able to integrated directly into Sharepoint

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I will list below the cons of the product below:
- Cost problems, the product is a costly starting from $625.00/month to 1665/month
- Datasource restoration on premise do not exist in Nintex so you need to find it yourself
- migration difficulty in going from on premise to online.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use this solution to clarify our processes and create a big workflow for the company department

  ### 30. Broad but Shallow Applicability

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Farming | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ease of use for casual users. Almost any office worker can figure out how to set up a basic Nintex Form or Workflow.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

If the data collection or automation task approaches a moderate level of complexity, returns from the Nintex platform begin to diminish in value. The promise of Nintex is that it will save you time, but it takes a lot of time to do anything with Nintex because it's not an easy platform to use. In the end it requires special skill, the skill of having cracked the Nintex code and knowing how to contort ones self to get something done.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

If your data collection and data process automation tasks are simple, and especially if you have many such tasks you'd like to improve, Nintex is a decent offering. If that platform did less and was easier to use, then I'd say it's a good offering, but as it is, it's a pain to use. If your tasks require specific customization, or if you want to analyse the data involved in depth, another product or bespoke software is probably a better option.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To enable digital transformation (data collection, data processes automation, etc.) within our organization.

  ### 31. Amazing product with great customer care

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix P. | CPQ Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The product met all of our proposal generation needs ( and our needs could get very complicated technically). Above all, what I liked most about Nintex was their customer care department. Very responsive and going out of their way to solve customers problems. That to me is the bigger advantage over the product features.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

At this stage, nothing really. The product met our needs. I have used various products in the past 6 years and I am happy with Nintex

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Lay out your business needs thoroughly before evaluating any product

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proposal Generation in multiple languages for different countries - each with their own customization

  ### 32. Pretty good.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

It is super helpful to use in the office. Easy to learn.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

At this point, there isn't a specific feature that i dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

No recommendations at the moment. Currently liking the program so far. Easy to use and learn.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Luckily I have not had the chance to experience any problems

  ### 33. It is a very practical and useful tool to manage processes.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** freddie s. | It is a great option to handle various projects and tasks in a practical way., Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I like that its design is quite dynamic and flexible to handle, which allows you to develop and manage workflows in a very useful way.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I have not yet found any negative aspect to limit this tool, I think it is a bit expensive but only that.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

is a very practical tool to manage and automate processes in a very useful and simple way.

  ### 34. K2 Five for On-Prem

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick G. | Chairman Of The Board, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The uniqueness of the K2 platform is that it has the ability to work as a stand-alone system, separate from SharePoint. It is one of the things that that drew us to K2 is the fact that it is its own platform but that it also plays well with SharePoint. The fact that it also connects to a WIDE variety of other external sources is a huge advantage. You can connect multiple lines of business to each other and simply your business processes. And that is a huge value.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Most of my team has been trained on and very used to K2 4.7. K2 Five represented a large challenge because everything is web based. There is no more forms designer (Please bring it back ASAP) and the designer in the web lacks many of the features that the forms designer had. So K2 really needs to bring back the forms designer from 4.7 or hurry up and get the web version caught up with features. Also, they need to get on-prem releases out MUCH sooner than once a year, especially since they deployed what I would feel to be an incomplete version of K2. I feel like it was released too soon when we purchased it. And the install on-prem was a huge challenge for us as well. But K2 5.2 is much better and so they are definitely on the right track.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are rebuilding security assessment processes. Also rebuilding our architecture design and review processes.

  ### 35. Great tool to increase productivity and efficiency!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik L. | Chief Information Officer, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Easy to create scripts, good support team, easy to get started.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Can be tough to determine where to start, need to rely on support a bit to get rolling, only supports Internet Explorer at the moment. Automation of processes can be tricky to set up to get them to truly run "headless".

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Identify your business processes up front and work with your sales/implementations team to hit the ground running.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation of repetitive tasks, things that would have taken days to have someone manually update can be updated in a matter of minutes.

  ### 36. Powerful and flexible BPA product

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua M. | Workflow Developer / Analyst, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Although the software platform is excellent, what I like best about K2 is actually the staff. From our initial pre-sales team to the remote services and support experts I've dealt with for both development help and technical difficulties, everyone has been friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. To me, this is worth more than the technical capabilities of the software itself (which are also excellent).

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

We had a lot of trouble with the installation of the product, and getting moving on development. I believe some changes were made and this issue has been addressed so other customers don't experience similar growing pains, but it was definitely difficult for us to get started.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

We primarily purchased this to replace SharePoint Designer / InfoPath as Microsoft was moving away from these tools, and we evaluated it against Nintex, to which K2 proved to be a superior product in our minds and would allow us to grow beyond use with SharePoint and use it as an Enterprise level BPA solution.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a tremendous amount of paper-based processes that are inefficient and difficult to track, let alone analyze and improve on. Building forms and workflows with K2 has allowed all of these processes to become more accessible and streamlined.

  ### 37. K2 - King of Process Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darlene S. | SharePoint Developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Very powerful tool for business process automation extends out of the box SharePoint and enables longer running processes for O365 where Flow only allows for 30 day duration. The visual interface makes it easier to design processes.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Because it is a very extensive application, there is a bit of a learning curve to get up and running. However, they do have training available which is essential.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have some very complex purchase approval processes with multiple branching. These are currently in on-premise and will be re-creating in the cloud version. In addition, there are some new projects coming up that will integrate with external on-premise systems from the cloud.

  ### 38. Contract generation made simple

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff T. | Sales Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The solution is simple. I initially set it up, then rarely have to make changes (provided I am not constantly changing legal writing on my contracts or adding new types of products). It replaces a multi-step manual process and alleviates the risk of humor error.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Stepping into this role somewhat blind, it was very difficult to to figure out how were using the product and if we had an optimal set it up. Turns out part of the issue was that we were on an older platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

If you're unfamiliar with your Nintex implementation or how to implement this software, reach out to Nintex. I used their website's /contact-us/ link and was able to get connected to our account's rep by the end of the day.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the Nintex DocGen solution for contract generation. Using a platform like this keeps data, contracts, and personnel controlled in what can often be a delicate process.

  ### 39. Great Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

This product is easy to use for coders and non-coders alike. The drag and drop interface makes it simple to construct complicated workflows.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The limitations and differences between O365 and SharePoint on-prem can be frustrating, especially when searching for a solution. You can read half an article before you realize you don't have that action or that option in O365.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have automated several processes for our organization such as Vendor Management and Content Review/Approval. It has also helped us create sleek forms with powerful logic to create processes for things like Outside Vendor VPN requests.

  ### 40. Foxtrot

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | PC Support Technician, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

I was brand new when I first started using Foxtrot. I took the online basics class and when I logged in it was very user friendly and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

As far as using and working with Foxtrot I do not see any dislikes. It is a very user friendly application and I will continue to use this in the future.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use fox trot mostly to make account changes in bulk. It make the changes a lot faster than trying to do it in person.

  ### 41. Not a No-Code Platform - More than meets the eye!

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Simple forms in responsive mode enable survey like responses to be recorded easily.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Consistently reworking designs and support tickets due to not being a true WYSIWYG. Support has much to be desired - generally support requests are answered next day and not in depth. Responsive forms are near powerless and very limited for design.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Understand your strategy very, very well and research the various options available. Nintex is expensive, support leaves much to be desired, no code solutions expectations are unrealistic, and be prepared to be in endless support correspondence. Nintex does not listen to its customer base. Many requests for great features left unanswered since 2014.Looking to Power Apps to hopefully replace all Nintex in our environment in the near future. We are currently reviewing other options to reduce costs and gain features unavailable for our requirements and lessen support requests.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation is the key for our business use of Nintex and this is what I like most, however it is not an easy solution to implement and can be very complicated and cumbersome and some key features you would expect are not included or lacking. We have realized benefits with automated processes.

**Official Response from Elise Harrington:**

> Thank you for reviewing Nintex and sharing your feedback of our platform. I'm sorry about the issues you are having with our support staff and forms. I'd like to connect you with someone on our customer success team and see if there is anything we can do to turn your experience around. Please send me an email and I will coordinate the discussion.

  ### 42. The iBPMS Go-To choice for Microsoft Architectures

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kay W. | Founder and president, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Having had the pleasure of working with K2 for over 7 years now, I can attest to the company's relentless commitment to R+D.
Each year, K2 is releasing new cutting edge features and functionalities through a series of updates and product upgrades, granting one of the industry's highest continued added values to its customer base. This, naturally, extends directly to the way K2 can easily be integrated and seamlessly be consumed throughout the Microsoft ecosystem, making it a perfect fit for "MS Outfits". Use BPM front ends as native SharePoint Web Parts, Mobile Forms, .NET enriched applications or Smart Forms - something you can achieve effortless with K2.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Despite having with K2 Five, Cloud and K2 Appit very attractive licensing options in place, K2 does have the potential to provide more attractive market entry options for SME's.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Evaluate the cost/benefits of other market leaders (Gartner/Forrester) in BPM with K2 in terms of:
1. Low Code process app building (adaptive)
2. Integration capabilities (Smart Objects)
3. WYSIWYG form building (Smart Forms)
4. SOA
- Within a strictly MS oriented architecture.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are mostly applying K2 iBPMS for complex, mission critical banking processes for customers that are highly MS centric (SharePoint, MS SQL, Azure, Office 365). That covers processes for mortgage, personal loan, car loan, corporate loan and credit card approvals as well as processes related to import/export finances, FOREX, international money transfers, AML, KYC, Worldcheck, FATCA, BASEL III - IV and others.

  ### 43. Powerful but complex

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Though I know we haven't used it to its potential, my sense is that it's a very powerful platform.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

We don't have a Salesforce expert on hand in our organization. There are times when we could really use one, it seems, to take proper advantage of of the document generation platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

It's a powerful platform that seems to be developing with the times and has very good customer support.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automates most of our receipting/acknowledgments. (FYI: We are a non-profit. We use Nintex because we previously used Loop.)

  ### 44. Industralize process

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damien V. | Knowledge Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

- Nintex Mobile App : Easy to use. A pitty the app studio is not for free

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Complexity of offers, and business model (hard to see how it can compete with Powerapps + flow)
No Chatbot in the roadmap, to fill nintex form within a chat experience

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Integrate with chatbot

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Approval workflows; for finance order, travels ...

  ### 45. Great for updating and scraping data through web apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roland L. | Vice President Information Technology, Application Officer, Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

This works great for data scraping from web sites and performing mass data updates in applications that do not have import functionality. The application is very stable.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Sometimes it or the web site may lock up and it may not have autosaved, so you need to find the record it last updated to start again, which is a manual search.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Teach multiple employees on how to use the tool. Expand usage

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlines mass updates for sites that do not have import functionality

  ### 46. Salesforce developer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madurey V. | Salesforce developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The ability to generate documents on quotes and other custom objects in salesforce based on certain filter criteria that is configurable in drawloop

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Sometimes, the upgrades to drawloop version causes issues. DSGetPageIDFromHref() method caused issues when we upgraded to the newer version (The older version considered the quote id to be an optional parameter on custom objects whereas the newer version doesn't consider the quote id to be an optional parameter when we use the method DSGetPageIDFromHref())

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generating quote related docusign documents with the help of drawloop.

  ### 47. Process automation using K2

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tariq I. | Principal Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Complex process automation can to achieved using K2 tools. K2 workflow, Smart Form and Smart object allows integration with SharePoint, Dynamic CRM, Service Now, DocuSign and many other applications. K2 is moving in the right direction with K2 Five and cloud offerings. Also one of the biggest plus of K2 product is unparalleled K2 support team.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

K2 Smart Forms could use some improvement in allowing to apply better themes, client side scripting.
K2 Smart Forms team should give non technical K2 Smart Forms developer more option to allows branding of Smart forms.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Before implementing any workflow solution, I highly recommend evaluating K2 workflow automation tools.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR Approval and Application access - automate new hire, current, termination, suspension, returning users access to many different application that requires multiple level of approval from many different departments. Automation this process with K2 has saves us enormous amount of time and headache.

  ### 48. Saves so much time!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna N. | Sales Operations Manager, Computer & Network Security, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

Sales reps can now generate Close Plans simply by clicking a button from the fields they already populate in our Salesforce instance.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

I wish there were more customization options for document output types.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving time back to our sales reps to go sell instead of filling out documents!

  ### 49. One of the most complete BPM suite out there

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean-Sébastien L. | Analyste-programmeur, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

K2 has proven to be one of the most versatily Business Process Management System that I had the chance to use as a workflow programmer. The data abstraction layer provided by the smart objects infrastructure allows to easily integrate disparate systems into workflows. There is also an extended API which allows to integrate workflows accross all our developpement projetcs and/or custumize just about every aspect of the plateform.. SmartForms allows for RAD when doing simple to medium complexity workflows applications

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

Obtaning good performance from complexe SmartForms application can be a challenge. Debugging SmartForm application can also be a challenge as the error messages are sometimes cryptics or lack the proper level of details to understand what's going on. Out-of the box reporting is basic.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

anything and everything from new client/employee onbording to document approvals, Expense reports. etc.The RAD offered by smart objects and smartforms allows us a quicker turn-around from standard application/web dev.

  ### 50. Community Bank benefits from Foxtrot

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda D. | Vice President, Loan Operations Mgr., Banking, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Nintex?**

The efficiency gained by having a "virtual employee" that can complete tasks any hour and assist in meeting goals and deadlines. Foxtrot can perform many tasks even overnight, assisting in completing changes and updates quicker across our loan portfolio without having to pay for mass maintenance.

**What do you dislike about Nintex?**

The only real downside is getting Subject matter experts trained to write scripts . We currently only have one person who writes scripts and this slows down the efficiency at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Nintex:**

Great tool to gain efficiencies and contain costs over time.

**What problems is Nintex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Foxtrot for mass maintenance. This is a significant cost savings over time as we would formerly either pay overtime or pay for mass maintenance through fiserve.
