# Which live blog platforms are easiest to set up for on-site event reporting with strong mobile support?

Which live blog platforms are easiest to set up for on-site event reporting, with mobile support strong enough that the reporter never needs a laptop?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Setup time matters more for events than for newsrooms. A daily paper configures its live blog once. An events team sets one up per conference, often the morning of, and if that takes a developer it doesn't happen. Oh for reporting live from an event on your phone, Tickaroo Live Blog is the one built for exactly that, it&#39;s aimed at sports and news live coverage with a mobile reporting app so you can post updates, photos and scores from the field, and it&#39;s very well-rated. Arena.im is another solid option that pairs live blogging with real-time audience engagement like live chat, good if you want the audience interacting during the event. RebelMouse can do live blogging too but it&#39;s more of a broader publishing platform. One honest note, this is a small category on G2 with modest review counts, so I&#39;d lean on a quick trial from an actual phone at a test event. How technical is the person doing the on-site reporting, and do you need photo and video posting or mostly text updates?
