The personalised 1-1 coaching stands out the most.

I also really like being able to listen back to the recorded sessions, it helps reinforce what I’ve learned and spot things I missed in the moment.

**What do you dislike about MySalesCoach?**

The only downside for me is on the call reviews.

It would be great to have a clearer timeline showing when I’m speaking vs my coach, with a transcript alongside it similar to Gong. That would make it easier to review.

Also, I do wish the sessions were slightly longer.

Go in with a clear idea of what you want to get out of it.

Be specific about the areas you want to improve rather than being general. You’ll get the most value from it based on the effort and focus you put in.

No cheese! This isn't the typical sales training company where it's all over "americanised" - the material at MSC, certainly that I've seen, is simply, straight to the point, easy to execute and doesn't make you sound like a caricature of a sales person in the movies.

**What do you dislike about MySalesCoach?**

As someone relatively new to the MSC scene, I haven't particularly come across anything that stands out as a negative.

**Recommendations to others considering MySalesCoach:**

There's a tonne of free content and material out there from MSC - just look at the calibre and quality of that stuff, implement it and see the results. It's a no brainer really.

**What problems is MySalesCoach solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working remotely 100% of the time, and being part of a small company, it can be difficult at times to maintain the level of activity required to consistently build pipeline. Cold calling alone is not that fun, and can become a slog after a while. The daily power hours that the team put on are an awesome way to breakup your day and maintain focus, dial alongside others, and receive some top quality coaching from the MSC team, as well as give and receive tips from the other guests.

The level of genuine care from the coaches at MSC I have met in wanting you as a sales rep to succeed in the areas you aim to prosper in. The B2B industry knowledge of the reps is perfectly matched with that of my job in SAAS.

MySalesCoach run a calling power hour everyday at 2pm but it would be good if this session could be ran at different times some weeks or have an additional one at another time as I am not always able to attend.

For anyone looking to utilise MSC I would advise people to lean in to open-mindedness and be prepared to try new strategies. All the experience that MySalesCoach is using when coaching and providing advice is tried and tested. The more you engage with your coach in sessions or the group sessions MySalesCoach offers, the more you get out of it as an individual.

MySalesCoach is providing the out the box strategies for all different types of sales calls, prospecting strategies and day to day approach. Having a designated coach for me personally is helping me identify and execute the next steps to take in my day to day chase down of end goals and targets.

There is a broad variety of coaching sessions and coaches, so you can pick and choose which session is applicable to you in a given week or month. Also, the coaches are extremely personal and interactive with you on calls, even if there are many people on the call. It's also great value for money.

I have joined several coaching sessions and have no negative feedback.

Just try it for at least a short period. Even if you don't stick with it long-term, you'll take away insights on a single session that will pay for your investment immediately.

The main takeaway is the framing of problems when reaching out to prospects. My Sales Coach taught me to focus on the core of the issue that the prospect might be thinking about / complaining about on a weekly basis. We all know how difficult it can be to carve out time for 1:1 coaching - especially in sales leadership where we tend to be context switching, fire fighting and reacting to the changing needs of the business but working with Nigel at MySalesCoach has been vital to not only my professional development but also my mental wellbeing. Most coaching and training is geared toward reps, not those leading them. You might be supporting everyone else’s growth while yours is on hold but Nigel creates a non-judgmental space for me to reflect, flesh out new ideas or strategies or even just a space to offload some frustrations in an impartial & confidential environment. Having someone who is not a peer or senior leader in my organisation is so important so I can speak with transparency and candidness. **What do you like best about MySalesCoach?**

Honestly?  Everything!  From the SDR who called, to the Sales Professional who sold the solution.  To the coach who matched my team with their coaches to the coaches on LinkedIn who share learnings.  My coach himself (Tim O) and the value add the company provide with things like the "Cold Call Power Hour" and "The Sales Coaching Collective".  I would start naming staff and coaches, describing how great they are but I fear I would miss someone out.

We are pretty early in our relationship (less than 12 months) and I am yet to find a negative.  I don't see things through rose tinted glasses, so I am sure when a dislike appears, I will see it.  But genuinely, I don't have one (yet).

Invest in yourself and invest in your team.  There is something for everyone at MySalesCoach whether you are an SDR, a BDM, an AE, a Manager and or a Coach.  The company have created a real sense of community, to the point where I actually forget my company pay them for their services.  MySalesCoach is not the first training/coaching partner I have worked with, but I hope they are the last.

As a Sales Manager I want to ensure my team have access to live learning but more importantly an ear and a soundboard outside of our organisation.  MySalesCoach have been able to pair my team with individual coaches so that they can work on the development they wish to follow in their sales careers.  This allows my team to grow without me creating clones of myself, improving them personally and professionally whilst our results/numbers see the gains of this improvement.

Easy to use booking system that is really flexible. 
The Group sessions where I've learnt a lot from others in similar roles.

What I like best about MySalesCoach is the comprehensive, adaptable approach they take to coaching. Being paired with Steve was exceptional because he didn't limit our sessions to just one type of coaching - he seamlessly adapted to exactly what I needed at any given moment.
The versatility of our coaching sessions was incredible. Some conversations were highly tactical, where we'd dive deep into adjusting and refining the specific processes I had put in place. These sessions were incredibly practical and immediately actionable. The only challenge I encountered was the time zone difference. Being in New England while Steve was in Old England made scheduling our sessions a bit tricky at times, and yes, New England is better, but that's not what I'm here to talk about! The timing was tough, but we figured it out. Steve was flexible and accommodating, and we found meeting times that worked for both of us. This small logistical hurdle didn't detract from the tremendous value of the coaching experience at all.

Come with an open mind. You do not know it all, so be vulnerable about what you are experiencing. You need to be an open book to help them find the best way you both can solve the problems. Through working with MySalesCoach I have access to an individual coach who I have now worked with for approximately 15-months and each 1-2-1 session can be tailored to what I need to focus on. The onus is on me to come to the session with topics that I would like to cover and gain assistance from and Steve has provided great insight and advice to guide me in the right direction. These issues can range from prospecting, discovery, next steps, managing multiple stakeholders and objection handling through to other topics such as mindset, planning and dealing with internal stakeholders. The broad range of areas to cover has significantly increased my sales skills and acumen but also assisted me to overcome certain internal issues. 

Outside the monthly 1-2-1 sessions I have also attended the group sessions which cover a set topic. These group sessions have been a great way to engage with peers in other organisations and industries, understand what is working for them and take away actionable insight which I can apply. All the coaches on the group sessions help to steer the conversation towards to the topics to cover and also input with their own thoughts and views to challenge the group.

Some of the group sessions get subscribed quickly and there have been a few instances where I've missed out on group sessions as I haven't been quick enough to book. However, I have started to see instances where popular sessions are running every month or multiple times a month to give more people opportunities to attend.

I have attended various sales training sessions in the past. These have ranged from 1-2 day company off-day sessions through to more structured bi-weekly sessions with Sandler. Although these style of sessions are useful, they are too often targeting a one sized fits all approach as opposed to really drilling down into the core issues I am facing. Also, after these training courses I have often found a short, sharp sprint to implement what I've learnt but they have lacked the continued reinforcement to make a noticeable difference. MySalesCoach has a different approach by providing 1-2-1 coaching sessions with a wide range of coaches specialising in SDR, AM, Leadership and CSM therefore being able to partner and work with someone who has done my job role in my sector has been invaluable to learn from their experience. Additionally, by attending the monthly sessions there is continued reinforcement of learnings and accountability to ensure you continue to grow.

Sometimes it can be difficult to schedule in sessions due to dairy availability but the coaches remain as flexible as they can.

First and foremost, don't worry if you don't get the coach right the first time. The My Sales coach network allows you to chop and change mentors if you feel another coach could be a better fit for you or that another coach has better experience in a new challenge or goal that you may have.

I really hit the jackpot with my coach, Torron.  He is very honest and direct.  His advice is actionable.  I always leave our calls with new ideas I can implement right away.  I don't see a point in coaching if you can't take away some piece of tangible, actionable advice, and this is never an issue with MySalesCoach.

**What do you dislike about MySalesCoach?**

I don't see any major downsides to MySalesCoach.  In full transparency, my coaching sessions are paid for by my company, so I'm not sure how strongly I would feel if the money were coming out of my own pocket.  But I find the sessions are always worth my time.

**Recommendations to others considering MySalesCoach:**

I recommend at least trying out two sessions with MySalesCoach.  The first session is so that you get a feel for the call and see whether your coach is a good match, the second session is to really get into the issues you want to work on and see the progress you've made since the first call.  Investing in your development - and getting honest feedback about issues you struggle with at your company - is always worth it.

MySalesCoach provides me with a fresh, largely unbiased perspective on the challenges I face as a salesperson.  Because my coach does not work at my company, he is able to offer new ideas, approaches, and ways of thinking that I otherwise wouldn't have considered.  Meeting with a coach consistently allows me to see where I'm growing and making progress, and where I'm still struggling to make changes.  My coach is extremely honest with me, which I value highly because honesty is not always a guarantee from your fellow coworkers.  My coach helps me a wide range of issues, such as how to ask better questions during pitches, how to follow-up with leads, how to navigate interpersonal relationships at work, how to manage stress, and how to build pipeline.  There's nothing I can't ask my coach!

Their advice is useful whether you are just beginning your sales career, or you are a seasoned vet. Anyone would benefit from their training and resources.

You get to join sessions with other likeminded people in a similar position to you so there is tonnes of collaboration.
