John is knowledgeable about which AI tools actually provide value to sales professionals in their daily lives.  It was more than a didactic training where he took my team through practical scenarios using the tools to get to some of our actual prospects.

Nothing.  He is honest, transparent, direct, efficient, and a true subject matter expert.

I’ve been in healthcare sales a long time, and frankly, I didn’t expect to be surprised. But JB brought a fresh angle to AI that’s actually rooted in sales fundamentals. He didn’t throw out gimmicks—he showed us how to use AI tools to enhance prep, drive better outreach, and still stay human. I walked away with at least five tactical upgrades we can implement now. The content is not only high quality and grounded in proven sales methodology, but it’s also delivered in a clear, digestible format that makes even complex concepts feel approachable. The advice is practical, tactical, and immediately applicable, a big reason we’ve seen real success putting it into action.

The content could do a better job of highlighting the importance of working cross-functionally between sellers, operations, and marketing to achieve the best results. There is an opportunity for content that details how to get buy-in across the company to leverage the best practices and workflows detailed in the training more successfully.

The workshops and content available is pretty great for the price of the membership, the live sessions are recorded and the golden nuggets you get from there in terms of questions, negotiationing etc massively helps when you start to put it into practice

Not much, I'd like a few more workshops with just John breaking down some of his courses but he responded to my feedback and advised it's on the roadmap

Help create urgency and focusing on outcomes to get the deal done a lot more quickly. Avoid deals getting to last few days of quarter and then it just becoming a pricing conversation and all about discounts. Best thing you can do at the end of a call is a definded next step. Hold the customer to account with expected close dates

I like JBarrows best for the actual susbtance behind his principles, strategies and tactics but also equally love how the trainings were delivered. Jogn has a unique ability to train as an equal magnifying his already strong credibility and authenticity. This is his secret sauce.

JB is authentic and from training, to social, to his podcast he provides a "real" feeling to the sales function. He has bad days and shares those while empathizing with the community that also rides the sales rollercoaster. I just appreciate his approach more than most others.

Our group had a lot of new folks that had recently joined and our organization was fairly small so there was a need for some structured sales development. We worked with JB and his online program to get our team aligned on what our formual for success was and to align our sellers on a structured outbound model. Our team has leveraged this formula and monitored the conversions along the way weekly to ensure we continue to improve or focus on areas that need further attention.

JBarrows Sales gets right to the meat of training and customizes it to be relevant to the group learning. It was really cool that they provided feedback on one email from each person while we were taking the course. They're authentic and we found that sellers would pay attention because he actually practices what he preaches.

Not a dislike, more of a consideration if you're leading a training at a company, you have got to consider how you're going to reinforce and track it after the course is over to make the biggest impact.

Context and examples in regards to the work needed prior to any type of outreach in order to gain a prospects attention and trust.

The size of the attendees. It would be great to have sessions with maybe 10 people max to be able to interact and engage with JB more to pick his brain and ask questions in real time as opposed to typing it out in a chat.

JB is evidently very educated and experienced within sales. Most sales sessions I have attended have been run by people who read a sales book and regurgitate the content without ever having boots on the ground hitting the phones working in an SDR/BDR/Selling role. JB doesn't say anything that isn't relevent to sales and the behind the scenes work needed in order to excel in the beast that is the sales industry. Very insightful listening to JB and would reccomend to anyone looing to harness their sales skills.

John's delivery is incredible.  His style is no BS, direct feedback but he helps build empathy with the buyer through understanding the drivers that are effecting them

The content is stellar and our reps have enjoyed both group learning (our SDRs did the trigger-based personalization course and "filling the funnel") while our AEs have picked topics that addressed specific focus areas for their own sales careers

Buy it.  The cost is super reasonable and the value is off the charts.  It's a no-brainer to grow your team's skills with JBarrows.

The majority of salespeople aren't classically trained for our careers the way architects, accountants or attorneys are.  Sure, maybe we have a minor in professional selling, and there are a couple of colleges offering sales majors, but the lion's share of us studied in unrelated fields like marketing, communications or psychology.  That's why ongoing professional training is so critical to our success.  John marries his "greatest hits" (Filling the Funnel and Driving to Close) via a combination of live and curated sessions, as well as a ton of live sessions on emerging topics like the rise of AI in sales and how to maximize the impact of your product demo.\

John brought a ton of energy to the last day of RKO which can usually be the most difficult. He clearly laid out his plan and built on it just like you wold when starting to break into an account. It was simple and effective. He also stays up with instudy trends that are constatly changing which is important for the leaders as they continue to coach.

There is nothing that I disliked abotu this training.

Definitely worth the price if you can do in person. The energy translates so much more in the room and I've never seen so many SDRs taking notes and nodding in agreement/engagement.

Meet with John, listen to his process, its real, he is extremely knowledgeable. In my opinion, the best in the business.

JB ASMA is a GREAT follow up to the 2 day Drive to Close courses. I really appreciate the time JB takes to individually answer questions. He truly cares about the success of the sales attending his courses! Thank you.

I have not currently found any dislikes in the information JB shares. Suggesion would be for a copy of the chat and power point after each session would be good to have for review! Another suggestion would be the ability to make notes along side of the power point we can save for our files to look back on.

Take the courses, do the homework and utilize the ASMA sessions. JB truly means you can ask or send him an email to help you! Thank you JB!

I like the platform and material as a combination, as well as the support staff. The material is very useful and I saw this is asomeone who has no experience in sales whatsoever. Their support staff were very quick to help me resolve a small issue I was having with recieving my certificates.

The least useful aspect in my opinion was the small quizes to get your certificates. While I understand the intend of them to ensure people are not doing it without engaging, I did not find they helped me because I was already fully involed in the curriculum and would have been succesful because of the material either way.

It was easy to understand and follow along. If you take the training seriously, it is pretty easy to apply it to your role in sales.

If I had to give a negative, it would be a small one, but here it is. As good as the training is, it is challenging to fully grasp the context of it all if you haven't already started doing sales. 

Easy solution... I went back and re-did the training after I started sales and things that only kind of made sense originally, made much more sense the second time.

I really liked how personable and direct John was in the videos. He talks you through all of the exercises as if he was a long-time friend.  I was able to maintain focus and attention throughout because he kept it interesting.

I found the entire lesson insightful and informative. I really have no parts of the training that I did not like or enjoy. My only issue was that the Certifications come from credly and they are only sent out once a week. However, when I reached out to the JB Sales team they were very attentive and explained what was going on right away, and took the time to verify my account just to make sure everything was ok.

Overcoming entry-level barriers, by breaking down sales tactics and techniques in an easy-to-understand and relatable way.
