"Microsoft Teams Makes Screen Sharing Feel Like an Interactive Workspace"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

When zoomed into screen sharing, Microsoft Teams excels by treating shared content as an interactive workspace rather than just a passive video stream. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

While Microsoft Teams is a powerful enterprise hub, it comes with clear tradeoffs that frustrate power users and IT administrators alike. Heavy Resource Consumption: Built on the Electron framework, Teams is notorious for eating up significant CPU and RAM. It frequently causes system slowdowns, fan noise, and battery drain on mid-range or older machines—even after performance optimizations in the newer client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Reliable Collaboration Tool with One Small Concern"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I have been using Microsoft collaboration tools including Teams for almost 20 years, and overall, it has been a very reliable and effective collaboration platform. I use it daily for team communication, meetings, and file sharing, and it has become an essential part of my work routine.

For grapevine discussions as well, this tool is best. I find it a great tool for both daily discussions and long-term projects.

Teams is quite straightforward. Since it integrates seamlessly with the Microsoft ecosystem, rolling it out and getting started was smooth. And it really helps in keeping everything connected and organized.

That being said, Teams remains one of the best collaboration tools i have worked with, and I genuinely appreciate how much it has improved teamwork and productivity over the years. I never had to contact Customer support as this software worked for me without any issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

I noticed that attachments open directly in the chat window. Personally, I find this a bit inconvenient because I have to close the document and then go back to the chat window every time. A separate window option or tabs for opened document would make it much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I particularly like its calendar and meeting scheduling features, which make it easy to add participants, set meeting times, create recurring meetings, and check attendees’ availability through Scheduling Assistant. The response options, lobby controls, online meeting settings, agendas, meeting notes, and follow-up tasks are also very useful for organizing professional meetings efficiently. What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Some advanced settings can take time to understand. The interface can feel slightly complex for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Teams: A Complete Collaboration Hub with AI-Powered Productivity"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The best thing about Microsoft Teams today is how it has evolved into a complete collaboration hub. It’s no longer just for chat and video calls; it now includes AI-powered meeting summaries, real-time co-editing, and seamless integration with other Microsoft 365 tools. Features like Copilot, Intelligent Recap, and Loop components help save time, reduce meeting fatigue, and keep teams aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Notification Overload

Alerts from multiple channels and threads pile up fast, and it becomes difficult to keep up as they accumulate. It’s hard to tell which messages are truly urgent versus which ones are just background chatter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While Microsoft Teams is a powerful collaboration platform, it can sometimes feel resource-intensive, particularly on older devices, which can lead to slower performance. "Intuitive Interface with Easy-to-Follow Chats and Strong Call Quality"
4/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The interface is intuitive, with options to favorite people, group chats, or channels. GIFs are available if your organization allows them. Emojis work well, and chat messages are easy to read, format, and follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Often needs to restart due to updates that seem to happen every other day. Camera sometimes doesn’t work and mute is sometimes On and sometimes off when joining and meeting. One time the mute was taken off even though I didn’t press the button. Call quality has been very good recently and they added a connection quality feature to see other people’s connections and your connection quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Team Collaboration with Great Call Quality and Search"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

Easy to connect with the team, scheduling meetings, creating groups. Call quality and easy to search files and text. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Chat storage feels too limited. It’s difficult to find chats that are older than 3–4 months. They show up in the search window, but when I click on them, the chat isn’t actually there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"All-in-One Communication and Collaboration Made Easy with Microsoft Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

One of the most useful things about Microsoft Teams is that it combines communication and collaboration in a single platform. I can send messages, join video meetings, share files, and work with team members without having to switch between different applications. This makes daily communication much easier and more organized. The interface is simple and easy to understand, even for new users. The chat feature is especially helpful for quick discussions and reduces the need for long email exchanges. Scheduling and joining meetings is straightforward, and the screen-sharing feature works well during presentations and team discussions. Another advantage is that shared files and conversation history are stored in one place, making it easy to find information when needed. It helps teams stay connected, improves collaboration, and supports productivity throughout the workday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

One thing I do not like about Microsoft Teams is that it can sometimes feel a little slow, especially when there are many chats, channels, or notifications. It may also take some time to find certain settings or older messages when you need them quickly. I have also noticed that when many notifications come in at once, it can be difficult to keep track of important updates. For new users, some features may feel confusing at first because there are many options available. Apart from these small issues, my overall experience has been good. Microsoft Teams is still a useful tool for communication and collaboration, and these problems do not happen often enough to cause major issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
