Microsoft Excel has become an indispensable tool in my day-to-day sales role at our valve company. It solves several key challenges we face in industrial distribution—namely managing complex pricing structures, tracking inventory movement, and generating accurate, margin-protected quotes on the fly. Excel enables me to build dynamic pricing models, filter and prioritize stock for clearance, and analyze sales trends across different territories. It also streamlines pipeline forecasting and internal collaboration through easy-to-share reports and templates.
