**What do you like best about MD Clarity?**

I love the ability to check for coverage with most payers. If you have no idea of what insurnace a patien has, MD Clarity can give you an idea of who their coverage is through though I wish it could pinpoint more accurately, especially for BCBS plans. We use it most frequently for calculating benefits and it works very well for this. We calculate estimates for surgery and can create a  letter, send it to patients, and verify that they have viewed it all in the program. This is a great program for that.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

I don't dislike anything about MD Clarity. It's sometimes not the most intuituve or user friendly system but once you've got it down, it's great.

**What problems is MD Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest problem that MD Clarity is solving is accurately estimating how much patients will owe based off of the CPT codes we use in our practice and their insurance benefits.

**What do you like best about MD Clarity?**

I love when MD Clarity auto populates benefits. I love that we are able to send an estimate to patients quickly and in a timely manner. There are a lot of features and its so easy to use. Thanks!

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

I dislike the new update that does not allow us to edit the total estimate. This update makes it difficult to adjust any amounts due. After the update, I'd say 5 out of the 10 letters I typically do, I can no longer send. We're unable edit ANYTHING.

**What problems is MD Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MD Clarity makes it easier to send patients estimates. This eliminates us having to manually calculate these estimates, makes life so much easier for us with a heavy work load!

Patients don't always view the information that is sent to them. With all of the scams and threats out there, patients don't always trust the information sent to them.

MD Clarity is a helpful service that I use every day in my job. The ease of use of the system helps make my work easier and I know that the estimate information I am sending to patients is accurate and precise.

**What do you like best about MD Clarity?**

The graphs/charting are extrememly useful, breaking things down to even CPT CODE(S), by Payer, by location. We can utilize these functions to help determine where we need focus our attention.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

Currently, we haven't gotten to fully utilize the product as much yet due to our company being so large with multiple locations/divisions. So we are patiently awaiting for the build to be tuned up.

Underpayments is certainly the biggest focal point and we are able to complete our appeals process  in a more simplified way with the help MD Clarity.

What I like most about MD Clarity is its very user friendly. When we first switched over it wasn't the easiest, but once learning my way around things became easier.

I don't like how all payors aren't available as of yet. Sometimes its hard which payor to choose if not a main payor.

MD Clarity helps with sending patient information to them regarding their benefits. This is benefiting when calling the member and they're able to follow along with me.

I like that you can email the estimate to the patinet. Would be nice if there was a way to confirm patient opened letter.

I do not like that there is not a Multiplan Contract. That we cannot now edit the letter. Sometimes it does not discount correctly.

I wish they would add a Multi Plan Contract and Make it editable. It's hard to get in sometimes, having to wait on the code via email.

I like how user friendly MD Clarity is to use. The upsides is how easy it is to navigate within the site.

Least helpful would be that MD Clarity does not always find copays for outpatient surgery so you have to either call the insurance company or go to company website to verify. The downfall/dislike is that not all insurances that we use are loaded into the system.

**What do you like best about MD Clarity?**

Ease of use and great customer service. The interface is really easy to use and anyone with little experience would be able to fumble around and figure it out with little issue.  The on boarding team was amzing and and very attentive. Making any changes or requests for additinal features were always quickly addressed.  Intergrating our contracts were very easy and any changes needed are quickly address as well.  Implementing this tool to our workflow was really easy and has simplified my teams workload.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

For my teams use, I have no true complaint. If there is any kind of issue, creating a ticket with the MD Clarity team is easy to complete and issue is address very quickly.

MD Clarity has simplified our teams workflow for creating estiamtes and has eliminated the need for manual calculations.

I wish it would figure and give the total amount for each facility and professional fee. I need to figure out the amount for each. It is sporadic on figuring the amounts when multiple codes are used, not giving the second and third discount.

We have always sought ways to enhance efficiency and improve patient satisfaction. Recently, we implemented MD Clarity's automated estimates software, which has proven to be user-friendly and time-saving for our practice. The customization options it offers have allowed us to automate some of the processes and increase our patient accounts receivables.

The promised work queue capability did not meet expectations and was not as easy or customizable for different departments to use for their tasks.

Information listed is not always correct. 
It has problems calculating correct information mainly when I used to calculate by hand i could see more accuracy. 
System doesn't always work. Wish it pulled more up to date benefits.

What I like the best about using MD Clarity is the ease of use. It's very user friendly. Their customer support is very helpful and usually pretty fast at getting things taken care of.

MD Clarity automatically adds the appointment so it is easy to find and has all of the information needed.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

MD Clarity does not seperate the Clinic from the Ambulatory Surgical center so it takes more time to seperate the charges.  It also does not always calculate the 2nd procedure discount.

The problems that I have cannot be solved.  They can't seperate the charges which is really a feature that I need to do estimates more quickly.

It is very easy to use since it is installed for patientts wellfare. Its main purpose is enable up-front deposits and payment plan elections online directly from their individual estimates. 
Implementation is also fast thus does not consume any time. 
The features are tailored to ensure that patients experience is improved, there is automated manual benfits fir workflows and to reduce bad debt, reduce cost-to-collect & accounts receivable days. 
It easily integrates with other tools used in day to day running of a medical facility such as Greenway, nextgen, Epic, MEDITECH and many more.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

Projecting out of pocket costs at a high level of accuracy and giving patients the confidence to make up-front deposits could not be any better without this app. In addition, it aids in autosend Good Faith Estimates through text, letter or email this complies with the No Surprises Act. In other words, the app intill transparency for both healthcare staff and patients thereby improving overall service offered.

For the healthcare provder it:
Assigns investigation to staff and establish task status all in one place
it also spots underpayment trends by an insurance company
Helps ensure that you set your chargermaster optimally 

For the patients:

It helps to understand how your insurance contract is performing as a patient and a healthcare provider
It also projects impacts of cash flow in contract changes

**What do you like best about MD Clarity?**

MD Clarity provides valuable resources to help identify underpayment claim opportunities/reports, benchmarking capabilities, and professional support through weekly liaison meetings/calls to strategize solutions.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

MD Clarity experienced what many organizations did around staffing shortages and employee turnover.  During this time, there were slight delays in the implementation of some projects.  Now that things have leveled out, all projects have been completed and we are working on our report submission phase.  Still satisfied overall and happy with how things were handled.

**What problems is MD Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The MD Clarity system allows us to identify select affiliate Groups or ASCs underpayments and generate meaningful reports to showcase charges, collections, expected reimbursement, and what "opportunity" or variance of underpayment is owed by the insurance Payor.  Through these efforts, I'm able to make Chargemaster edits based on highlighting underbilling.  Additional benefits of utilizing the system allow for comparison of Medicare benchmarking and how well current contract rate exhibits are performing.  This creates prioritization process of targeting select Payor agreements for renegotiation or efforts with underpayment/payment methodology.  Added resource included weekly call with staff to strategize through report outliers and discussion on approaching solutions.

**What do you like best about MD Clarity?**

Having as much information in on place as possible. This saves time, allows our team to maximize our efficiency and creates a one stop shop before and after services. I must include that having a team at MD Clarity who will help build reports and takes feedback seriously allows the one stop show to continue growing while making our jobs more effective.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

The area of downfall is as much my company's issue as MD Clarity, and sometimes more. There are times where the overnight batches do not process or our servers have communication issue. We rely on MD Clarity SO much, that any downtime is felt in a significant manner.

**What problems is MD Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to be ahead of many companies in providing Good Faith Estimates. Our accuracy is built into MC Clarity by having our contracts loaded, having the ability to search for active benefits, and having the API connection between our systems. We have increased our upfront collections and patient education without adding staff. As times are changing with insurance companies no longer having the largest percent of payment, that has transferred the patment responsibility to patients. The "Pay Now" feature in addition to the previously mentioned contracts being loaded, has given patients more flexibility for how and when they make their pre-service payments. Discussing medical care and financial health before a patient has been surprised by a potentially large bill is much more successful than attempting to collect after services have been rendered.

MD Clarity enabled our organization to be fully compliant with the No Surprises Act without having to build a solution.

**What do you dislike about MD Clarity?**

I have been using MD Clarity for 7 months now and I have yet to find something I don't like.

**What problems is MD Clarity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In order to be compliant with the No Surprises Act, our organization is required to send a good faith estimate to self-pay patients. MD Clarity was the perfect solution for us. We ran into issues while trying to build a solution and hiring staff to perform this task manually was not ideal. Luckily, MD Clarity has a fully functional solution and they are even working with us to import the GFE letters back into our billing system in order to maintain a full medical record in one location.

I work primarily with the contract management and payer auditing functions.  I love how easy it is to review payments from our contracted payers to make sure claims are paid based on our contract rates

If something doesn't seem to work right the staff at MD Clarity are quick to remedy the situation!!!

Always finding better ways to analyze the data, both contracting and for auditing the payers.  We also use it to monitor insurance payments versus patient payments.
