What do you like best about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?

I like that it is straightforward to set up automatic testing, approval, and deployment of patches. I also like the feather of deploying deployment servers at our remote locations so all on-site computers have a central repository to patch from. This saves bandwidth for our company, which has been an ongoing issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?

The one issue I had with deployment was that the KB article that listed out all the sites required to white list in my proxy was not accurate. I had to update my proxy after I found failed downloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sending all users home during the pandemic saturated our network the first month all users attempted to apply patches as they all got updates from our internal WSUS server. What do you like best about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?

Patch Manager Plus helped us improve our security posture. It is fairly easy to configure and automatically deploy Microsoft and third party patches. Sometimes the portal can be a bit slow to update but it's a rare occurrence. Sometimes updating process takes 20-45 minutes depending on the request and takes much time for remote agents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus solving and how is that benefiting you?

Keep track of all remote agents and employees working from home devices with the necessary security and system update which was a problem in the on-prem version of patch manager plus and the cloud version solved it. Moreover, the option of integrating with Microsoft intune helped a lot to speed the process of integrating patch manager with our systems and managing all our systems whether on-prem or remote devices. What do you like best about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?

The ability to manage 3rd party applications updates as well as windows updates in an organized way is great.

We are still running with the trial license so we are still learning, but already we have found that patching multiple offices are much more efficient and we can patch a broad spectre of 3rd party applications that would have taken much more time before. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus?

I really miss a dashboard for each remote office instead of a dashboard for the whole setup.

It would be great to have a better visual insight into the situation of the remote office by the remote office as well as for the whole organization.

Also, the fact that filters are not reused in different menus but have to be set up for each user for each menu is something that would be great if they fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were looking for a way to be more efficient in patch management and at the same time be able to patch multiple products at the same time.

Patch Manager Plus seels to solve this issue pretty well.

We are still testing this but so far we are quite impressed with how relatively easy it is to get started.

Adding endpoints and distribution servers is really easy. Even in big setups.
