I really like how LogicalDOC balances strong on-premise security, full document control, and ease of use. Many enterprise DMS platforms struggle to deliver this balance, but LogicalDOC manages it well. It feels modern and intuitive for everyday use. The most standout feature for me is the full-text search across all documents and formats. We deal with countless PDFs, Word docs, scans, and contracts, and LogicalDOC indexes everything, so we can find any file in seconds just by searching for a phrase, name, or keyword. While search works well, the filtering and tagging system could be more intuitive. Setting up custom metadata and making it mandatory for certain folders takes extra configuration, and it’s not as user-friendly for non-admin staff. Also, better automation around document workflows and notifications is needed. We have to manually check for document changes, approvals, or overdue tasks, which could be improved with built-in, customizable alerts. I use LogicalDOC as my go-to enterprise-grade document management system (DMS) for organizing, storing, securing, and collaborating on business documents. What I like most about LogicalDOC is that it strikes the perfect balance between enterprise-grade document governance and SMB/team-friendly usability. It packs in all the powerful, compliance-focused features of a top-tier enterprise DMS like version control, granular access, and audit trails but is intuitive enough for non-technical users, meaning no IT team is required to set up or manage it. LogicalDOC’s balance is uniquely valuable to me because it eliminates the two biggest pain points of document management tools: the lack of control in basic cloud storage and the inaccessibility of enterprise DMS platforms. I find LogicalDOC's collaboration features limiting for modern remote/hybrid teams because it only supports real-time co-editing for basic text files. For other file types like PDFs, Excel, design files, or complex Word documents, collaboration is limited to sequential editing. This means we often have to use external tools for real-time collaboration and then re-upload to LogicalDOC, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a single source of truth. I love that it allows me to work both in the cloud and on-premises, giving me the flexibility to choose based on my infrastructure. The version control and collaboration features are very useful for being able to see who modified which document, revert to previous versions, and easily share with my team—all of which greatly improved coordination. I also realized that it helps improve efficiency and reduce dependence on paper; documents are stored, categorized, and accessible from multiple devices. LogicalDOC are very logical and docile. They provide sensitive security features so you can be at ease of not losing your data. and They also provide multilingual support for the customers now too. I like LogicalDOC's powerful document search feature, which saves me a lot of time in my daily work. Poor report customization: The degree of customization for report functions is relatively low, and the preset report templates cannot meet the diverse needs of enterprises. Companies may need to generate reports with specific formats and content based on their own business characteristics and management requirements. However, LogicalDOC lacks flexibility in this area, making it difficult for users to personalize reports, such as adjusting report layouts and adding custom fields. I did not like how complicated it is to install the software, It is not cloud-based. A small suggestion, the design and user interface can be improved and can be hosted in the cloud Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a user friendly software with 35 different language. And it is helping to circulate higher amount of documents at a time with highly confidential. Also it is so easy to use it requires no training. It utilizes advanced technology and widely-accepted international standards to facilitate a non-invasive integration with your system. Seems to be everything is satisfy. Sometimes when we upload large capacity of files, we feel slow down the process. It may be the reason of our local network issue. But, better consider in future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
