"Powerful, Organized Document Management—But Advanced Setup Takes Time"
3.5/5
What do you like best about LogicalDOC?

The thing about this LogicalDOC platform is it makes document management very organised and easier to control. I also like that it combines document storage, version control, advanced search access permissions, workflow automation, and other cross-functional collaboration in a single, oriented ecosystem. Their full-text search is very helpful because it helps us to find documents quickly using keywords, metadata, or content. It is also very flexible for our business use with options like cloud deployment, security roles, auditing and other integration parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

Some of their advanced settings might take bit of a more time to understand, specially for users who are new to document management systems. This platform is powerful but some of their features like workflows, permissions, metadata rules and other admin controls may need a proper setup to get the best value out of it, overall this reduces time spent searching for files and improves internal documentation, compliance and productivity. "Seamless Integration, Time-Saving Document Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LogicalDOC?

I use LogicalDOC for handling my company's documentation. I find its documentation and integration with other apps superb. It integrates with other apps smoothly. The integration with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word without leaving the office screen is really time-saving. Its integration system with other tools is very good actually. The initial setup wasn't that difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

The language support in LogicalDOC could be improved. It's best for Italian companies, and I noticed that Italian companies get faster support. Having more options for English and other languages would be better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"LogicalDOC: Secure, Efficient On-Premise DMS with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about LogicalDOC?

I really like how LogicalDOC balances strong on-premise security, full document control, and ease of use. Many enterprise DMS platforms struggle to deliver this balance, but LogicalDOC manages it well. It feels modern and intuitive for everyday use. The most standout feature for me is the full-text search across all documents and formats. We deal with countless PDFs, Word docs, scans, and contracts, and LogicalDOC indexes everything, so we can find any file in seconds just by searching for a phrase, name, or keyword. That significantly saves our team hours every week compared to digging through folders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

While search works well, the filtering and tagging system could be more intuitive. Setting up custom metadata and making it mandatory for certain folders takes extra configuration, and it’s not as user-friendly for non-admin staff. Also, better automation around document workflows and notifications is needed. We have to manually check for document changes, approvals, or overdue tasks, which could be improved with built-in, customizable alerts. Lastly, the initial setup of LogicalDOC is manageable but leans toward IT-admin friendly rather than a fully click-and-go consumer tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralize business documentation in a single repository with ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LogicalDOC?

Its ease of centralizing documents in a single repository. Especially for companies that have extensive documentation and standardizations, such as assembly plants, factories, or strict safety processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

It tends to behave slowly, the searches by OCR are not very accurate, and I think the price is a bit high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Balanced DMS with Room for Collaborative Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about LogicalDOC?

I use LogicalDOC as my go-to enterprise-grade document management system (DMS) for organizing, storing, securing, and collaborating on business documents. What I like most about LogicalDOC is that it strikes the perfect balance between enterprise-grade document governance and SMB/team-friendly usability. It packs in all the powerful, compliance-focused features of a top-tier enterprise DMS like version control, granular access, and audit trails but is intuitive enough for non-technical users, meaning no IT team is required to set up or manage it. LogicalDOC’s balance is uniquely valuable to me because it eliminates the two biggest pain points of document management tools: the lack of control in basic cloud storage and the inaccessibility of enterprise DMS platforms. Unified Version Control with Version History Snapshotting is the most valuable core feature to me as it has eliminated the chaos that plagued my collaborative workflows. The initial setup was quite easy as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

I find LogicalDOC's collaboration features limiting for modern remote/hybrid teams because it only supports real-time co-editing for basic text files. For other file types like PDFs, Excel, design files, or complex Word documents, collaboration is limited to sequential editing. This means we often have to use external tools for real-time collaboration and then re-upload to LogicalDOC, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a single source of truth. "It has transformed the way I manage documents."
4.5/5
What do you like best about LogicalDOC?

I love that it allows me to work both in the cloud and on-premises, giving me the flexibility to choose based on my infrastructure. The version control and collaboration features are very useful for being able to see who modified which document, revert to previous versions, and easily share with my team—all of which greatly improved coordination. I also realized that it helps improve efficiency and reduce dependence on paper; documents are stored, categorized, and accessible from multiple devices. Daily use benefits me even more from having everything organized with a good implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

Technical support, although they respond well when they do, several reviews indicate that the response can take a while and that in some cases, phone or live support isn't as accessible as I would like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

LogicalDOC are very logical and docile. They provide sensitive security features so you can be at ease of not losing your data. and They also provide multilingual support for the customers now too. As fr the UI, it is quite userfriendly after the new update Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

Although they provide very quality features, their pricing is a bit high. A new and small startup can afford their services not for a long game unless they are getting a high revenue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Document management tool, efficient search, flexible permissions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about LogicalDOC?

I like LogicalDOC's powerful document search feature, which saves me a lot of time in my daily work. It not only supports searching by document titles and descriptions but also supports full-text search, making it very useful to quickly find relevant documents by entering keywords. Moreover, LogicalDOC's advanced search feature allows me to filter results using a combination of various criteria, such as document type, creation time range, author, and more, to further refine the search results. I also appreciate its flexible permission management system. LogicalDOC can set very detailed permissions based on different user roles and business needs, ensuring document security and collaboration requirements, meeting the needs of different personnel for efficient work. Such permission management avoids the risks associated with overly open permissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicalDOC?

Poor report customization: The degree of customization for report functions is relatively low, and the preset report templates cannot meet the diverse needs of enterprises. Companies may need to generate reports with specific formats and content based on their own business characteristics and management requirements. However, LogicalDOC lacks flexibility in this area, making it difficult for users to personalize reports, such as adjusting report layouts and adding custom fields. This results in reports that do not align well with the actual needs of the enterprise when presenting data, reducing the practicality of the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
