## About Lingo
Lingo is the visual home for your brand and product assets. It gives teams a simple, flexible way to organize everything, from logos and fonts to product specs and batch data, all in one spot, wrapped in the context people need to use them correctly. Instead of digging through messy folders or outdated spreadsheets, teams use Lingo to build beautiful, visual hubs that stay as polished as the brand itself. Designers and marketers use it to manage brand guidelines, while e-commerce and operations teams use it to ensure that every product listed has the right imagery and correct details. Lingo is built for teams who have outgrown basic cloud storage but do not want the heavy, over-complicated systems that take months to set up. It's simple enough for a small design shop but powerful enough to manage complex product launches across multiple states or platforms. Features you'll love: - Visual Kits and Portals: Organize your brand stories and product collections in a layout that actually makes sense. - Integrated Product Data (PIM): Store technical specs, batch details, and descriptions alongside your imagery so your data and your assets are never out of sync. - Smart Search & Metadata: Find exactly what you need in seconds, whether it's a 2024 logo or a specific product batch. - On-the-Fly Conversions: Automatically get the file format or size you need without ever leaving the platform. - Seamless Sharing: Use private or public links to give wholesalers, retailers, or teammates instant access to the latest brand and product info. - Flexible Integrations: Connect directly with tools like Figma and Shopify to keep your workflow moving fast. Whether you are a one-person design shop or a global brand team, Lingo makes it easier to keep your brand looking sharp, your assets easy to find, and your creative work moving faster. No more chaos. ## Lingo Reviews
 ### 1. Incredible Modular DAM: Easy to Use, Brand-Compliant, and Great Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Lingo is modular, easy-to-use, and has been nothing but incredible for our digital asset management uses. We are able to have brand-compliant media online in a simple-to-manage structure that is easy to navigate for clients and can even track analytics usage by those who open our links. Pricing is incredibly competitive compared to others we assessed before joining. I've never had an issue with performance and have been able to upload some pretty large files for folks when necessary. The team was incredibly kind during the onboarding process and helped us get set up using our existing system, so we could then go in and make updates for our new structure.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

The only downsides I've found with Lingo are very small usability features: occasionally images will upload at the bottom of the page, rather than where we are trying to drop them and you cannot mass select a group of images and drop them in a section higher on the page (you have to drag it the entire way up the page).

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo helps us to have an easy-to-navigate digital asset management system to give our partners a simple system for finding the assets they need on their websites. We used to use GDrive and it wasn't nearly as friendly. Our partners have been loving the navigation, the labeling system, and the ability to add details to assets or clusters of assets for use cases.

 ### 2. Practical, Handy Tool That’s Easy for Everyone to Use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eva B. | Communicatieverantwoordelijke, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Very practical and handy in use. It's a tool that can be used by everyone.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Sometimes when you want to share a certain kit or something else, is takes the url of the lingo app itself and not from the domain we choose. I think it's a bug?
+ you can't see statistics of the url's we share as assets. We can't see how much people click on the url.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We share a lot of assets with our partners and in that case is a very clever tool. We can put it on one central platform.

 ### 3. Lingo Makes Sales Enablement Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Summer M. | Sales Enablement Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Lingo is super easy to use and has helped me to empower our sales team with accessible enablement assets. I also love being able to see the metrics on downloads, which helps me make sure our collateral is useful.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

I think the analytics could be more robust, but that may be a result of being on a lower subscription tier than the enterprise plan.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo helps me get sales enablement assets to my team quickly and effectively, and it serves as an easy central location for all of our collateral.

 ### 4. Effortless Asset Management, Awaits Key Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I really like the display of Lingo. Everything is loaded and I can visibly see the photos without having to open them. I also like how the brand kits are interactive, such as copying the hex color codes. It's very customizable and Lingo keeps coming out with new features often, making it fresh and current. The migration and initial setup were very easy, and the Lingo team was super helpful. They always answered any questions I had in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

There is nothing I dislike about Lingo, but rather I'm looking forward to new features. For example, a Canva integration because our team uses Canva a lot, so having all of our pictures in Lingo, but then connected to Canva would be ideal. Also, having Lingo on mobile would be very helpful for our clients uploading media.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo solves the problems of lost assets, confusion about correct photos per use case, time spent searching for assets, and ensures correct branding for our 20+ clients.

 ### 5. Simplicity and Markdown Make Lingo a Standout

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caleb P.

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I like the simplicity of the platform, and I personally love the Markdown support. Lingo is great for storing and keeping up with digital assets and brand guidelines for multiple brands. It allows us to support our wholesale customers by easily delivering media kits to them. It's also super easy to set up, especially since our brand kits weren't too complex before switching over. Lingo's pricing model worked better for us compared to other options.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

I would love a more robust account-wide file manager, as well as some additional display options for files inside of kits (like a large-size preview of a file, for instance). It would also be nice if the 'supplemental media' elements could be managed as files rather than as single-instance uploads.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Lingo to store digital assets and brand guidelines. It helps us deliver media kits to customers efficiently and manage assets internally with ease.

 ### 6. Effortlessly Organizes and Enhances User Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niki L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I like how user-friendly Lingo is and how easy it is to use. I like that we can build things in the back and then move them forward when it's time. Everything's just super organized, and it's really easy. It's really user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

I wish there was a way to copy pages within a kit to duplicate them, not copy them so that I can make edits to them, but it won't make edits to the original page or kit. So just a duplication feature would be very nice. Our customers have also expressed interest in having a more user-friendly app, so an app that they can actually download, versus using their Chrome browser.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo keeps everything organized in one place, simplifying access for us and our customers. It also lets us build things before they go live, facilitating easy transitions.

 ### 7. Effortless Brand Asset Management with Lingo

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shiloh G.

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I like most that Lingo is not overly customizable. I appreciate that I can focus on telling the story of the asset rather than worrying about the formatting of the page it sits on. The limited formatting abilities are something I actually like, because it allows me to concentrate on communicating the important parts, like how an asset is used. It's helpful that it removes the need to design the container for the design. This setup keeps things simple and ensures clarity in communication about what the asset is and how it's supposed to be used.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

I think the same thing that I love is the same thing that could be improved sometimes. Would like a little bit more customization on a page if I want an overview page to be a little bit dynamic, but a little more or less storytelling focused. I would love to be able to hyperlink banner images, which you currently can't do. I will say that I know Lingo is working on updates to make pages more customizable.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo solves our problem of using incorrect brand assets by providing a single source of truth. It cuts down on communication back and forth as team members can self-serve different asset types easily, streamlining the process.

 ### 8. Lingo Keeps Us Organized and Efficient—Our Source of Truth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samantha B. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Helps me and my organization stay organized and efficient. We like to think of Lingo as our source of truth. Way easier than storing things in Google Drive.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Not much. I do wish some of the "display" settings were a little more customizable but overall, not much to dislike.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, efficiency, storage. Saves time and acts as our "source of truth."

 ### 9. Visually Organized Asset Library with Flexible Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I love that I can keep everything organized in a way that's visually accessible. Being able to tag/search assets is key to keeping a large library organized, and there are many ways to make the platform work for my specific needs.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

I wish there were a few more auto-tagging/searching features so I don't have to rely as much on manual tags for simpler/more generic tagging.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo helps me move faster in my organization (by being able to quickly access assets), and it helps keep our broader teams on the same page.

 ### 10. Excellent Organization for Retailers to Find What They Need

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Organization within helping my retailers access what they are looking for

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

The uploading of assets - they go to the bottom not where I upload

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asset management & analytics on usage

 ### 11. Simplifies Asset Distribution with Ease

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake M. | Owner - Producer / Director

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I find Lingo's simplicity really beneficial as it allows me to onboard teammates with very little training. The initial setup was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

The hierarchy is a bit confusing. It could benefit from simpler heuristics.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lingo for Brand Asset Deployment, offering a convenient distribution modality for collaboration while being simple to onboard teammates with minimal training.

 ### 12. Easy to Use with Fast Support, Though a Bit Manual

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Greg J. | Key Account Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

use of ease, great customer service as well, always get a response rather quickly

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

a little dated a times and very manual but still useful.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

lack of EDI intergration on our internal systems

 ### 13. Lingo has potential but essential features are limited to enterprise plans, and there's no support

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron K. | Marketing Communications Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Lingo overall has pretty good UI and a lot of the features one would expect from an online brand management service like this. It's intuitive to use and easy to share both internally and externally. While the flexibility and customization is limited, it makes the learning curve much easier.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Lingo is a platform dedicated to creating online brand guidelines, among other things like asset management. However, full customization of the platform to match your brand is locked behind the enterprise plan. This decision is baffling to me, and I can't use the platform for this reason, among others. It would be extremely hypocritical to create brand guidelines, telling everyone in my organization that anything to do with the logo or the company has to have a specific font, but then all of the guidelines themselves use a default Lingo font. In order to get full font customization you have to go with their enterprise plan. I don't even need most of the features of any of the higher-tier plans, yet I'm forced to pay for them just to get the simple addition of a custom font.

Is it easy to upgrade to the enterprise tier or to see pricing? Nope, you have to contact sales. Unfortunately, and this is the second reason I would recommend folks look elsewhere, their sales team is completely comatose. They don't respond to form inquiries or the onsite chat widget, effectively making the use of an enterprise tier impossible unless you have days to wait for an answer. And when you decide you want to go a different direction and delete your account? Yup, you have to contact the Lingo team, who will respond to you in their own sweet time, if they feel like it.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online brand management, allowing everyone to have a single source of truth for brand standards. Also allows for the organization of and easy access to all digital assets, including sales material, photography, documentation, and more.

 ### 14. A must have for growing design teams.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | Executive Creative Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Lingo is a fantastic asset library–it handles a wide variety of file types and makes them easy to find, use and update. We also use Lingo as a living design guide and DAM. The ability to interlace documentation with asset delivery makes Lingo a nimble partner in the creative process.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

I wish lingo could help us organize copy documents (largely Google doc links) along with our assets in a better way. Currently, we just link to documents with the notes feature, but this doesn't solve the problem in the long run.

**Recommendations to others considering Lingo:**

Lingo is a flexible and powerful tool that helps designers and collaborators alike. It strips away vestigial complexity found in other DAMs and gives users the tools and information they need to create powerful on-brand content.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo helps our design team stay organized, and efficient because we get more out of the design we do. Now when one designer creates a new illustration, it gets added to our illustration kit within Lingo and then the whole team can use it as well. Beyond that, the ability to deliver content along with context/documentation makes it an invaluable tool when working with different teams, agencies and stakeholders.

 ### 15. Better solution than Dropbox or cloud storage for advertising and marketing toolkits

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Easy to visually browse assets and share with clients. So user-friendly compared to dropbox, google drive, etc.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Too high of a price jump to get enterprise-level features, like profile customization and unique URLs. Our use case is as an advertising agency, and we create toolkits for different clients. Unfortunately, if you want to brand each toolkit differently and set up custom URLs, you need to set up a separate account and subscription for each toolkit. We get around this with one subscription and creating a toolkit for each client, but we can't brand each one or add a custom URL. I was glad to work with our account rep to enable password protection on the 2nd to highest price plan, which is usually only available for enterprise users. Also, some file types (e.g., audio) are not currently supported. Lastly, there's no way to see how close we are to bumping up against our allotment of cloud storage.

**Recommendations to others considering Lingo:**

This is by far the most affordable, easy-to-use, and customizable tool for this purpose. Highly recommend it. It's been extremely valuable to our projects.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a marketing agency where we frequently run community mobilization campaigns. We're creating a variety of assets that need to be shared and used by individuals from various organizations. We need a hub where they can browse download assets available from the campaign in various file types (logos, videos, print collateral, radio spots, fonts, etc.) We also needed the ability to link to the toolkit from a public website while password protecting it so only intended people can access it. Lingo worked with us to enable the features we needed to make this work. It's been so nice to be able to update the Lingo site with content and make it easy for clients and partners to find what they're looking for, whether it's through easy-to-browse navigation or search.

 ### 16. An approachable and time-saving asset sharing hub

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I love the customer service and support we receive when asking about a new feature request, or if we have questions about the product. I love that our approved assets can be downloaded at the appropriate size, depending on the use case. The Lingo team was very helpful when setting up the download presets out team needed. For quick, easy access to photography, brand assets, video, etc. Lingo is the place to go.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Lingo is constantly expanding their offerings and we really appreciate the transparency about what's coming down the line. I'd love to see more customization around grouping and geolocation. Our photography is organized based on certain sections of our forests. It would be great if we could add geolocation as a tag to see the origin of the photography.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lingo allows us to be self-serve. The UI is approachable, and it saves the creative team a lot of work by not having to pull assets for growth, PR, or marketing team members for every project.

 ### 17. Lingo is the solution I've been waiting for!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I love the ease of use and clean design. Has 99% of features I need in a simple interface.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

My only real wishlist item is being able to organize multiple kits within groups or sections.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For years I've been struggling with keeping my ever-growing Dropbox folders organized, frustrated there was no system for tagging or organizing other than folders. Once I started looking at potential solutions and fell down the DAM rabbit hole, I was astounded at some of the prices of some popular options -- especially for a small business like mine. For the perfect price point, Lingo makes it so easy to organize all my photos and brand assets without getting bogged down by a distracting interface. I love that I can easily scroll (and search!) through my assets. It's definitely increased my productivity since I don't have to waste so much time finding what I need.

 ### 18. Most valuable & easy to use software we have for management of brand assets + our partners love it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** whitney h. | Creative Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Lingo is the easiest software we have ever onboarded. It is intuitive for any user and I find myself constantly wondering where we can include Lingo in other processes. Our asset library expands and evolves based on the features this software continues to offer, and it is exciting to see how it has and can directly affect how we build our brand.

Anyone looking for a DAM- stop... This is what you want.

Added bonus, the Lingo team is fantastic at communicating. They are always eager to help and happy when responding to questions or requests, and they continue to improve the tool based on direct feedback from its users.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Nothing negative to say about this software. Only I wish I had found it sooner!

**Recommendations to others considering Lingo:**

Lingo allows you to roll out the latest versions of your guidelines so that users are working from the most up-to-date information and not a PDF from 2012 that was found on some server. Do your graphic designers spend a lot of admin time responding to logo requests? Lingo allows a user to download the file type they need so your team can get back to designing. Need a vendor to know your guidelines? Don't waste time having a call about how to use your brand. Send the guidelines through Lingo and include a direct contact if they have any questions.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving team members direct access to brand assets for a project, including important instructions. Especially for remote teams, this allows everyone to have the latest information with all the files in one place. No longer searching through subfolders. Lingo is a visual branding tool and the search feature allows users to find any asset that might be related to the project they are working on.

 ### 19. Makes staying on brand simple

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

I am not a detail person but I know staying on brand is critical for a business to be trustworthy and professional...cue Lingo. It makes this so simple.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Literally nothing - it's the easiest software to use to access our branding suite/colors/etc. We love it and I used it daily.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staying on brand and being able to access logos, photos, and brand colors with ease for our marketing needs.

 ### 20. Easy to use, affordable, and superb customer care!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

As a public school district, we were able to build a complete package of assets for all of our staff and community groups to access. It has allowed us to be consistent in our messaging as well as have instant and secure access to everything in one place. What's even better is the ease of use of this product for all user levels. We frequently get compliments on how helpful this product is from our users.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Early on, we were struggling to house videos on the platform - yet the amazing Lingo team created a way to do just that! We now have all of our needs met with this product.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we had Lingo to house all of our assets, we were constantly fielding calls and emails from folks needing access to branding materials. We also needed a secure way to share these assets. The platform and its ease of use by our staff have significantly saved our PR team a significant amount of time.
Additionally, we have been able to create niche media kits for our different audiences that meet their specific needs - therefore providing exactly what they need without searching through folders of content.
Another way we have used this service is to create media kits for when working with the press -we simply send a link and they have access to a curated package of assets. No more issues sending bulky files through email!
We also have all of our staff headshot photos along with their contact information stored on our Lingo kit - As our district grows, it's an excellent way for our staff to put faces to names and have instant access to employee resources.

 ### 21. Lightweight Digital Asset Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Lingo App is super easy to use and has many features that make it easy to co-work with a spread team across many states! It has also been a fabulous way for our team to organize our thoughts and get input as we have started to build out of marketing packet and brand this last year. It is a great choice for small or medium-sized companies.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

This definitely doesn't have all of the features of a heavier, more enterprise-grade tool. If you require more features, you will probably want to go with something that is made for bigger businesses. However, if you are a smaller team within a larger company, this could still work well for you!

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Despite the many repositories that exist online, having the up-to-date, company approved digital assets that are easily accessible by the whole team is a problem that many businesses still need to solve, including our own. Lingo does just that!

 ### 22. The best solution to manage your brand kit!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugo F. | Senior Product Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Lingo helped us manage our Brand Kit and share all assets with 10,000+ people in our company.

The Lingo team is very responsive on Slack and always happy to help you with your questions or requests.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Nothing negative to say. Lingo has the perfect features for all our needs.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this moment we can easily manage and share all our branding assets in just one place. Lingo helped us to stop managing multiple versions of these assets in several cloud services.

 ### 23. Very impressed with this product. Strongly recommend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eli B. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

It is wildly easy to set up, use, and share. Unlike any other tool I've onboarded, this required zero training for my team.

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Nothing. For a small to medium-sized business, it has the perfect feature set.

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems we were looking to solve: can't find assets easily, have to create different asset folders for each 3rd party partner, wild disorganization

Benefits realized: simple, intuitive, asset management. That means no one has asked "where is xyz image" - that is amazing.

 ### 24. Best DAM there is!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David G. | Design Director, Brand Experience, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Lingo?**

Ease-of-use, ability to search visually, drag-and-drop, self-service for file format and size, online AND desktop access

**What do you dislike about Lingo?**

Lack of feature parity between Mac client and online, lack of activity log, lack of 3rd party integrations (i.e. Slack, Google Drive), lack of YouTube/Vimeo support

**What problems is Lingo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Universal self-service on graphic assets means designers don't have to be supporting large organizations. Lingo also provides one-stop source of truth for all branded materials
