**What do you like best about Kudos?**

What stands out most about Kudos is how it turns recognition into something visible, consistent, and meaningful—making appreciation part of the culture instead of an afterthought.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

What I like least about Kudos is that recognition can sometimes feel repetitive or surface-level, making it harder for truly meaningful contributions to stand out.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos solves the problem of recognition being inconsistent, invisible, or forgotten—especially in busy or distributed teams. It creates a centralized, transparent way to highlight contributions in real time, so people don’t have to rely on occasional shoutouts or annual reviews to feel valued.
For me, that means better visibility into what teammates are doing, stronger morale, and a more connected team culture. It also helps reinforce the behaviors and results that actually matter, which makes expectations clearer and recognition feel more aligned with impact rather than just effort.

  ### 2. Versatile Recognition Tool with Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like the different ways or categories of saying thank you, from exceptional praise all the way down to a simple 'thank you.' It's great that Kudos allows us to use our own words to express appreciation. The AI feature that helps rewrite comments in a nice professional way is also a plus. Additionally, I appreciate the versatility in converting points into useful and practical items like gift cards. Kudos gives us several options to choose from, which is really nice because it lets people decide how they want to spend their points.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I can't think of something specific right now. In our company, we have employees and contractors. So I think sometimes the contractors are not able to benefit from this. So I realized that this is probably a company policy. It also would be nice to sometimes be able to [extend Kudos] to people that are not employees.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos allows us to quickly recognize and award employees virtually, providing flexibility in how we express gratitude. We can personalize appreciation with different categories and use AI to refine our messages. The platform's versatility in converting points to gift cards adds practicality.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use Kudos to show care for colleagues in the office, and it helps me recognize everyone around me. I like that it's a one-stop shop to see hard work and recognize it throughout the company. It's very user-friendly, which is a big plus. The initial setup was very easy, and I love it here.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

We are working to get more people to use it and it being user friendly is always a plus or two.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to show we care about each other in the office. It helps me recognize everyone around the office and serves as a one-stop shop to see others' hard work.

  ### 4. AMAZING way to motivate team in a FUN way!

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I couldn’t be happier with Kudos! From start to finish, the experience has been outstanding. The platform is super intuitive, easy to navigate, and really delivers on what it promises. What impressed me most is that it actually motivates colleagues to be better team players and for supervisors (even the shy ones) to recognize the team's efforts. It has genuinely exceeded my expectations and made our work so much easier. Highly recommend to other organizations that have not tried it yet!

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

That the points expire! But I guess it is needed somehow.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of communication, lack of employee recognition, supports team building.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love how easy it is to recognize colleagues and team members for the excellent work and contributions they make to our organization. I like the ability to add Gifs, tag leaders, and if needed, use AI to help craft your message. I also love the eCard feature which allows me to recognize individuals with a variety of card types. eCards are a great way to welcome new team members or celebrate those special moments in their life such as birthdays, graduations, new grand babies!!!

Then there is the marketplace for cashing in those Kudos rewards!!! I love the options of gift cards, merchandise, or donate to charity! What a fabulous marketplace!

From an administrative point of view, the system was easy to implement, maintain, and support.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It would be great if points could be given with an eCard. It also would be fantastic if a user who doesn't want a post to appear on their wall to mark it private themselves (or only for theirs if its a group post) without having it go to the admin as inappropriate content.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This allows individuals to recognize the great work of others, which increases Employee Engagement and the Employee Experience. This supports the Culture that we seek to foster in our Health Care System.

  ### 6. User-Friendly Kudos Platform with Rewarding Gift Card Redemptions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

The site is user friendly. I like that there are varying levels of kudos you can give and that you can cash points in for gift cards or items you may not want to purchase yourself.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Sometimes the site is slow when typing your information on the kudos form.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of how to increase team moral...sending each other kudos may be easier for some peopel than telling co-workers in person about how they help them / that they are doing a good job.

  ### 7. Fun way to improve morale and share positive feedback on job performance

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

People can get a quick mood boost and find out what they are doing well, and I can let colleagues know what I appreciate about their job performance. It is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I wish I had more points every month to give away.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Often when people are doing well in certain areas of job performance it goes unnoticed; Kudos makes it easy to let everyone know I appreciate what that person is doing and allows me to be as specific as I want to be. I have had no complaints about Kudos, the program implementation has worked well, and when I needed to contact support they were very responsive and helpful in resolving my issue.

nothing really, maybe add more vendors. There used to be Best Buy but i do not see it anymore.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love that Kudos is easy to use, which makes me more likely to use the app regularly. The great gift card options are valuable because they encourage me to reinforce my staff more often, making it a rewarding experience for everyone. What I find most valuable is how it motivates my staff; they are more willing to go above and beyond in their tasks for the potential of earning Kudos. Additionally, transitioning from our own paper system to Kudos has made it much easier to keep track of and use across the whole company. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't have anything I dislike about Kudos

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to reinforce staff work, which encourages them to complete tasks and often go beyond. It's easy to use, with great gift card options that motivate my team to excel. Kudos simplifies company-wide reward tracking compared to our previous paper system.

Furthermore, it keeps recognition consistent, boosts my motivation, and creates a more positive and supportive workplace. Kudos was very easy to set up.

Kudos is easy to use and a good way to make people feel rewarded, promoting a good working environment and camaraderie amongst teams. The easy setup process was straightforward and didn't take longer than 10 minutes.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It’s been a great motivational boost at work, and it lets us send shoutouts to others across the org, not just within our department. It’s also a helpful way to see what others are doing internally for the company, which supports everyone’s success.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping solve burnout because I’ve been able to get recognized for my accomplishments in the company, instead of just being told I’ve done a great job. I like that it gives me plenty of space to enter in critical details that embellish someone's results in as much detail as possible. The ability to use 1000 characters allows me to provide a detailed review of a certain project that highlights the employee. The initial setup of Kudos was simple.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

  ### 19. Kudos Makes Company-Wide Recognition Easy and Rewarding

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos makes it easy to recognize coworkers and highlight great work across the company. I like that it offers different levels of recognition depending on the impact, so you can give a quick thank-you or a larger acknowledgment when someone goes above and beyond. It also helps give visibility to employees outside of your immediate team. Our company also ties points to rewards, which adds a fun incentive and encourages people to actively recognize one another.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

There isn’t much to dislike, but like many recognition platforms, it works best when people actively use it. If teams aren’t consistent about recognizing others, the impact can be a little limited. It would also be nice to see even more reward options or additional ways to surface top recognitions across the organization.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps solve the challenge of recognizing great work across a large organization where many contributions might otherwise go unnoticed. It creates an easy and visible way for employees to thank one another and highlight impactful work across teams. For me, it’s beneficial because it helps build a culture of appreciation, increases visibility into what others are accomplishing, and makes it easy to recognize colleagues who go above and beyond. The points and rewards system also adds a fun incentive that encourages more people to participate in recognizing great work.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos makes it really easy to recognise teammates for their help and hard work. I like that you can give appreciation in the moment instead of waiting for a review or team meeting. Seeing recognition shared across the company helps create a positive vibe and reminds you that your work is noticed. It is a really easy app to use.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't like that you can send an award with no points sometimes.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps keep morale up, especially in busy or high‑pressure work environments. It encourages people to support each other and say thank you more often, which makes a real difference to team culture and motivation. It helps with getting small bonuses throughout the year too.

  ### 21. Effortless Recognition Platform with Real Life Rewards

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that Kudos provides a platform that gives recognition to coworkers and awards them with points that can be turned into gift cards and other things they can use in real life. It's super simple to set up; I just logged in, and all my coworkers' information was there, so I could easily search them to give them recognition whenever the time was right. I’d give it a nine out of ten as it’s a really good product. It's a great way to recognize teammates, and I think more companies should use Kudos or a similar product that gives recognition to colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The only thing I wish I could do is give more than 50 points to one individual in a month. I think if they deserve 100 or 120 points, I should be able to send them.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos doesn't really solve any problems, but it's a great tool to recognize coworkers and peers. It gives recognition and awards points that can be turned into gift cards and other usable rewards.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love using Kudos to give recognition to my coworkers. It helps us create a positive company culture by allowing us to say thank you for specific things throughout the month in a meaningful way. I appreciate that there is a limit to the amount of Kudos points we can give and that they get topped up every month. This setup makes the points feel like a real commodity, encouraging me to think carefully about who I want to recognize each month and what for, which adds more value and meaning to the praise. I also found the initial setup of Kudos to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I think there could be more denomination options like perhaps a 15 or 25 points option. It would also be nice if there was a reminder email 5 days before the end of the month telling us to send our Kudos points before they expire.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps us create a positive company culture and gives us a meaningful way to say thank you. The monthly limit makes the points feel valuable, ensuring I thoughtfully recognize coworkers each month.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I enjoy being able to give recognition and, in a way, give back to my colleagues who help make my everyday work enjoyable and fun, and who also support me. It is super easy to use on a day to day basis. I like that we get periodic reminders in our email so that we can remember to give thanks. The website performs well and is super easy to use. I also like the new AI feature as it can refine and make our Kudos more easy to understand

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It takes a bit of digging to figure out how many Kudos I have and what their cash value is, which can make them a little difficult to use.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps bring colleagues together by reducing the distance between us and creating a more positive environment.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos is easy to use and their is a real tangible reward for co-workers when we congratulate and appreciate each other.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

It can take time to set aside to visit the site and I do have to keep in mind how many Kudos points I have to distribute each month.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos gives us an easy and quick way to recognize teammates in a meaningful way.

  ### 25. A nice and easy way to give colleagues the recognition they deserve.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

The thing I like best about Kudos is being able to share positive feedback with my colleagues for a job well done. It's easy to use, integrates well with my workflow, is always reliable, and the team provides great support when needed.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I do not like the AI integrations, especially the option to refine your notes to colleagues. These should be authentic thoughts coming from a genuine place. The AI refinements make the notes feel cold. I would prefer no message over an AI message.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I cannot speak to this for my organization

  ### 26. Engaging Platform that Spurs Team Collaboration

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like Kudos' infographics and the dynamics of the platform itself. It feels really rewarding to receive one, and it provides a tangible sense of recognition as your supervisors or any other team can see it, which adds a psychological boost to doing a good job and being collaborative. The infographics serve as a reminder and motivation, especially during times when you might feel a bit unmotivated. Kudos makes my contributions visible to others every time I check my wall.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I feel like in the company itself, because it's such a large team, Kudos are mainly exchanged between the different departments that we're in. But with the wider bank itself, it's kind of difficult.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to create a collaborative dynamic, offering a tangible reward for work and recognition by a larger audience.

  ### 27. Empowering Employee Recognition with Room for Growth

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that Kudos serves as a good incentive for staff beyond just the salary we receive. Within a few months, we can accumulate enough Kudos points to pay for a voucher or an item, like the sneakers I recently bought. I find Kudos easy to use, and I appreciate how it allows me to share points with other staff members either through a public feed or privately. I only use the private posting feature because it lets me reward colleagues without others seeing how many points I awarded anyone else.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The only issue I have is when you have to cash out points. There are many different stores or vendors to choose from, but it lacks the ability to cash out specific amounts which in my opinion would be amazing. Also, the initial setup took a bit of back and forth with the team to make it applicable to the South African market.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos serves as a good incentive separate from salary, allowing us to reward each other monthly. It's easy to use, and I value the private posting feature to avoid any public judgment about who receives points.

  ### 28. Empowering and Appreciative, But Points Need Flexibility

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I appreciate that Kudos gives others an opportunity to share positive feedback for the work they do. I like being able to recognize someone for their hard work and dedication. It's nice to send descriptive messages to people along with points as a show of appreciation. The initial setup of Kudos was super easy, just needed my work number and my own password. It's really nice to show appreciation for others and also use your own points for gift cards and whatnot. I highly recommend it because it effectively allows me to appreciate and recognize colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I don't see any problems with it other than having to try and recognize everyone but 100 points only allows me to recognize 11 people with 5 points when I want to give everyone at least 10 or more.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos lets us share positive feedback and recognize hard work, which I appreciate. I like sending descriptive messages with points to show appreciation.

  ### 29. Empowers Team Appreciation with Ease

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I find Kudos to be a great way to support and encourage our team members, ensuring our team’s efforts never go unnoticed. I like the options of different areas like 'thank you' and 'good job' and enjoy providing detailed examples of those areas. From what I recall, it was easy enough to set up Kudos. I also think it is user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I wish we had higher organizational limits to provide more team members with Kudos points on a monthly basis.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos supports our team by displaying appreciation in concrete ways, ensuring efforts do not go unnoticed.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I love being able to keep track of the people who have helped me along the way through the recognition I give out. I also appreciate being able to see who has shown gratitude to me, so I can remember it and repay them in the future.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The rewards link sometimes doesn’t work. When I click it, nothing pops up, even though I’ve turned off my pop-up blocker.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I appreciate having the ability to show gratitude to my teammates.

  ### 31. Reliable, Easy-to-Use Recognition That People Love

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It's positive features for the person giving as well as the person receiving (LOVE the little unicorn & rainbow that's just appeared!). Really helps us use it, and want to use it. It works reliably and is really easy to use. It would be nice for companies to be able to reduce the amount of points behind each recognition, in case it's too expensive for a period, but we can still keep using it.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

When we have to switch off the reward amounts behind the recognition, that has felt very negative & I think has turned many of us off using it, while we adjust, unfortunately. But I think that's more our company's policy, rather thank Kudos'.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Team morale, company morale, it REALLY helps us work remotely/cross-borders/cross-languages.

  ### 32. A Simple, Fun Way to Recognize Peers—with Points That Add Up

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It’s a nice, simple way to recognize your peers for small favors, and the points add up over time so you can make more significant purchases. Overall, it’s a great perk. I also like that you can send private messages, since sometimes you don’t want to share specific work situations publicly. The ability to customize messages with GIFs, emojis, and similar options works well, too.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I would like to be able to customize exactly how many points I want to send (not only 5/10/20/50).

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos allows me to send a thank you with actual rewards attached to it, so, in the reality of things, it ends up being extra meaningful.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that you can add GIFs to make it funny and connect with people of different ages.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I wish you would get a notification when you need to cash out the points and when you are on the last day to give points out.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is making me feel appreciated in the workplace. I feel like it eliminates that feeling of 'no one cares or notices what I do', especially when people recognize things you didn't know anyone did.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I was able to recognize people for their efforts while also giving them tangible rewards for it.
it also gives way to reward performance while giving feedback to their actions

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

giving more people to recognize talents and be able to interact with a bigger scope and larger audience makes kudos an enjoyable experience. It also give others platform to promote and share both professional and personal experience.

the usual downside is more on the availability as well as some possible accessibility issues

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More than just its capabilities, Kudos has helped me create the personal space to express myself and to recognize others’ help and achievements in the workplace.

  ### 35. Easy, Meaningful Team Feedback—Kudos Gives Recognition a Purpose

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

Kudos is easy to use, and a thoughtful way to provide meaningful feedback to my team. It fills a gap that I'm not sure would happen otherwise... as it can be hard to communicate how you feel about someone's work day-to-day. Kudos gives you a place and purpose.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

Unless you're actively thinking about it, it goes unused. In addition, like many recognition platforms, the downside is that the same people get recognized over and over again (as it's the same people providing feedback over and over again), and can become more of a popularity contest. However, the product itself seems to work great and I haven't personally run into any issues.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recognition is the obvious answer here, as it creates a space for colleagues to recognize each other and their exemplary work. That helps to create a positive working culture and would hopefully reduce turnover (without direct attribution).

  ### 36. Simplifies Team Recognition with Room for Rewards Improvement

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like how easy it is to give points with Kudos. It's really convenient to search for a name, and if I'm not sure what to write, I can ask the AI for help.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The rewards page is really poor and hard to navigate. It's tricky just to find the gift cards section, and things should be much simpler.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos as a good way to praise and celebrate my team. It's easy to give points since I can search a name and ask the AI for writing tips.

  ### 37. Easy Colleague Kudos and Gift Card Rewards

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I use it to give kudos to colleagues and teammates. It’s a rewards platform that lets me redeem gift cards.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

The only issue I’ve run into so far is that a few gift cards I redeemed some time ago took quite a while before the details were sent to me.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since Kudos was implemented at Cummins, it’s been much easier to recognize coworkers by giving compliments and sending gifts.

  ### 38. Easy to Use with AI Integration, but Rewards Redemption Takes Patience

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

It is really easy to use, and integrates AI!

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

You need to wait a lot and accumulate many points to be able to get a nice product during redeem.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I see we all have different ways to say THANKS and recognize. This brings a unified way of doing it. And with the option to exchange the points to products!

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like being able to share small rewards with colleagues working remotely. We don't get to see each other so small gestures are appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

This is really up to the organization I believe but we lack in Kudo amounts. Small recognitions to do bring much value but making larger ones rapidly decreases your count. Also, if we could do joint gifts that would be great.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like described I think it's a way of sending a small message of encouragement + a gift without actually having to be physically together.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like that you can change the increments of the amount of points in Kudos and select what the action embodies. This feature kind of allows us to differentiate when an action is really worthy of 50 points, indicating they're a rock star, versus a smaller increment that simply shows appreciation. It also lets me recognize more people with smaller point increments.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I think maybe it would be nice if there was some kind of add-in that would let me easily access Kudos or, like, remind me to send kudos. I get an email, but sometimes it's just not enough and I forget.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos helps me focus on my colleagues' contributions by sending points and recognizing their hard work and time.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like Kudos for scheduling automated emails for Birthdays and Anniversaries, which saves time for our managers in recognizing their teams. I also enjoy the ability for team members to redeem points for gift cards to get items they want but perhaps can't afford. It's an easy way to make people feel appreciated. Additionally, the initial setup of Kudos was very easy, and the team was very supportive.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

I wish there were features to create polls or make it easier to run contests/activations. Built-in software tools like those you see in other communication platforms would be great. Allowing teams to create polls to vote on topics and adding pictures to a shared album would be helpful.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to connect remote teams, create a positive work environment, and encourage recognition. It helps managers make teams feel appreciated with scheduled emails and lets employees redeem points for gift cards, saving time and personalizing rewards.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

I like how Kudos uses 'Checkout Intelligence' to not just view credit cards as point earners but also as tools that offer benefits such as Purchase Protection and Extended Warranty. This is really useful when it detects a high-value item in my cart. Another aspect I appreciate is Kudos' ability to take a complex credit card benefits guide and translate it into a quick alert. It's incredibly helpful to have that information about hidden card benefits like 'Return Protection' appear right when I'm making a purchase. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

While Kudos is a powerful tool for maximizing rewards, it isn't perfect. From an analytical perspective—and based on common user feedback in 2026—there are a few areas where the experience can feel a bit 'clunky' or could use some fine-tuning. There's the issue of 'Bank API Silos'. In the U.S., tools like Kudos use 'Open Banking' aggregators (like Plaid) to securely 'read' your card benefits and balances. The problem arises with many international banks that have stricter 'walled gardens' or different API standards. If the tool can't automatically pull your specific card's terms, you are forced to enter them manually. This turns an 'automated AI assistant' back into a 'manual spreadsheet,' which is a clunky experience.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Kudos to see my credit cards as insurance tools, not just point earners. It gives quick alerts on card benefits at checkout, helping me make smarter, insured purchases.

**What do you like best about Kudos?**

The most valuable asset any organization has, is it's staff. Kudos is a very easy to use platform that helps me to recognize the members of my team and others.

**What do you dislike about Kudos?**

There are no down side to using Kudos, however I would like to see leadership be able to use the endorsement feature with more than the 1 point. I propose that leadership be able to endorse with 5 or 10 points. 5 points requiring nothing, and 10 requiring the leader to make an additional comment.

**What problems is Kudos solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Kudos makes it easier for me to acknowledge people outside my department. This way, I don't have to look up their immediate supervisor, tell my story to them and just hope that they share it with the employee. Plus, I have the opportunity to recognize them publicly or privately, which really matters to some people. Thank you!
