The material is deep, and the support staff is quite educated. We were able to drastically cut the time because of KBMax. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Epicor CPQ?

The snap code and layout are easy to use. The support from the product team at Epicor is helpful, and the wiki has tons of useful information to make it easy to learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epicor CPQ?

There are some limitations to the CAD automation, like dynamic dimensioning and text size adjusting. The logic required to manipulate the CAD output needs to be repeated for the 3D scene within the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Improving our qouting process"

What do you like best about Epicor CPQ?

The platform has high digital maturity which helps usage of standard integrations to connect with the wider IT Ecosystem.

The SNAP language is intuitive and easy to learn by anyone with basic programming knowledge

Product visualization capabilities are great while the scene editor is powerful and possible to learn by a 3D/Visual designer with basic programming knowledge

Great introduction and training provided, in addition to the online resources it is enough to get the basics Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epicor CPQ?

There is no offline capability, this is a pure cloud solution

While the UI is possible to tweak and change it is not fully customizable

We could not find or get access to more advanced training Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Epicor CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

KBMax is improving our quoting process by helping us better connect our process to the tools used. We see reduced leadtime while improving data quality in inquiry to product specification phase by reducing the need for manual work and handoffs. What do you like best about Epicor CPQ?

KBMax allows us to make updates to product availability easily, as well as add new options. Furthermore, we have been able to leverage KBMax's API to automate deployments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epicor CPQ?

A challenge with KBMax Configurators and many others is the inability to add new base layers without adjusting the configurator logic. What do you like best about Epicor CPQ?

KBMax has significantly increased the efficiency of our process and helped increase the quality of our products. Their user interface is very easy to use and customize to your specific needs. Our system is not customer facing yet, but KBMax gives us an excellent solution to our highly customizable product line while showing them our product. They have a very fast response time to issues as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Epicor CPQ?

Although KBMax is highly customizable, we have come across a few areas where we couldn't get the functionality we desired. A lot of these issues we could either find a work around for or they would implement a fix. In some cases neither of those options worked. When an issue makes it to the point where we're waiting for the developers to work on it, we know its going to be a while. This is only for a small portion of things we've come across. Recommendations to others considering Epicor CPQ:

The platform is very flexible. Definitely look at some demos from other customers to get an idea of what's possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Epicor CPQ solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previous to KBMax we had to touch every drawing that we sent to our production team. KBMax gave us the ability to automate our CAD and relieve a significant load from our design drafters allowing us to spend more time on other areas for development and improvement.
