Last year was our first year using an app and we went with Eventleaf. Eventleaf has great customer support, and the app/event services were user friendly and easy to set up. They made it easy for a young, small, nonprofit like ours to get going with a conference app with no headaches and affordable price point. **What do you dislike about Eventleaf?** We'd love some more customization options to add our own branding to the app/site, but it could be that I just haven't learned how to do that yet. This approach means we no longer need to pre-print badges, which aligns with our commitment to being eco-friendly. Also the reminder process again has saved me so many hours of chasing people up! I also loved the survey option, we have needed a way to get back feedback about our events and this feature was great! I have also had positive feedback from our invitees, saying how easy and efficient it was to use. Also, the features of being able to have different categories of invitees and sub categories within that allows me to collect all the necessary information. The event page itself looks very professional. **What do you dislike about Eventleaf?** When I signed up I was interested in all the features, especially the QR Code sign in. We need all our attendees to sign in and this can be a tedious process when they write their name and sign a piece of paper, and unfortunately this wasn't part of the basic plan. It is relatively straightforward to set up and has many features that make the platform user friendly. Being web based means I can access it wherever I am and whenever I need to. I have found the support service responsive and helpful, assisting me with any porblems I encountered. **What do you dislike about Eventleaf?** I have found the plans a bit confusing, in particular how registrations are counted. I run one conference per year for 100 registrations and have been provided with the Starter pack which allows for 100 free registrations (which is great!). However, if people register and then cancel, those registrations are counted as part of the 100. Or registrations from last year's conference somehow are counted in this year's meeting as an overall count. The setup process is smooth and allows for great personalization — adding logos, images, and customizing the colors of texts and banners was easy and quick. One of the biggest time-savers for me was the ability to import agenda items and contact lists directly from Excel, which worked seamlessly. I also like that the platform includes plenty of useful features without feeling overwhelming, unlike some other tools I've tried. A major bonus is that sponsors and speakers can update their own profiles, which reduces the need to chase people with follow-up emails — a big plus during busy event planning phases. I started using Eventleaf just one month before the event, which is a pity — it has so many great features that would have saved me a lot of time and nerves if I had implemented it earlier. Tools like abstract collection, the reviewing process, and payment tracking are extremely helpful and would have made the entire process even smoother. **What do you dislike about Eventleaf?** While the overall experience was great, there are a couple of areas for improvement. The language translation feature, especially in Czech, still needs work — some phrases weren’t accurate or smooth. I also found the banner setup to be a bit frustrating. Although I selected a specific part of my uploaded image, the final result on the webpage looked different — the image was enlarged and cropped in unexpected ways. Another suggestion would be to provide clearer data import templates. While there's a basic format provided, the cell formatting (such as date format) is critical for a successful upload — for instance, "16.6.2025" won’t work, but "6/16/2025" will, which I only figured out through trial and error. **What problems is Eventleaf solving and how is that benefiting you?** The attendees can easily navigate themselves at the conference program, they have all information on one place. If I need to inform them about important things, I can send out message in the app, do not have to approach everyone separately via email. ### 9. We were excited to be able to upload our contacts and send them from this platform, instead of having to use another platform to communicate. Most of the platform is "just enough" customization where you can set up a really clean design without being overwhelmed by features. The dashboards and reports have already been amazing, but we'll continue to explore those as well. I'd like to see the page design options made a little more robust, specifically the general information section (formatting is tricky) and being able to reorder the sections. We wanted an integrated payment collection option for our events as we create most of them on behalf of clients. The cost for a business profile is steep, however nice that you can email customer service for different options based on event needs. I host small a small conference once a year (about 50 attendees), so the base price doesnt make sense for me to pay. Before I volunteered with the company, the conference marketing, notifications, registrations was all paper based and done via email. We had been using a competitor's product for the previous 3 months and needed a system with more flexibility and a focus on a smooth on-site check-in process. I imported our online registrations into Eventleaf and we used their amazing mobile check-in app to provide a registration experience that was a pleasant experience for our attendees and our conference staff! For this reason, alone Eventleaf saved our conference! We moved our on-site registration to Eventleaf because the super-fast check-in process and the ability to easily add on-site upsell products (like adding more vendors to a booth or purchasing extra tickets for our awards banquet). Although there are a few good videos we used for end-user training on specific features (e.g. the QR code badge scanner app), the software needs a comprehensive training manual for the event planner. Received detailed demo, easy to get follow up questions answered by email, and was able to test the product before committing. Great customer service. We liked that Eventleaf has their own payment gateway with payouts monthly to our bank account. You can also include registration types/options on name badge with customized “badge friendly” names. Lastly, you can create a basic registration page or build out with more detail through suggested tabs. As we just signed up, we haven’t been able to test out the reporting, name badge printing, or lead retrieval in action, but so far they seem to be great and meet all of our needs. **What do you dislike about Eventleaf?** It took some time to set up the registration platform from scratch, but we were able to build out the registration options exactly as we needed and our Eventleaf contact was able to help us with any questions. Common registration fields need to be built from scratch, whereas other registration platforms have questions already built out. For example, you have to upload file of all states and countries when building the address fields to allow them to be a drop down. However, seems like we can copy/paste these fields for future registrations once created.
