## Jira Reviews
  ### 1. Centralized Workflows with Flexible Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose (Joe) G. | Social Media Analyst/Graphic Design , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I primarily use Jira for project tracking, bug reporting, sprint planning, and cross-team collaboration. What I like most about Jira are its flexible workflows that can adapt to different team processes. This flexibility allows support, engineering, and product teams to tailor their processes while still collaborating within the same system. I also appreciate the strong ticket tracking and prioritization capabilities, which provide clear ownership and accountability for tasks. The robust search filtering and reporting tools are excellent, and the initial setup was very easy, helping us get all teams aligned and flowing smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One common issue is complexity. Jira is highly customizable, but that flexibility can also make workflows feel overly complicated or difficult to navigate, especially for new users or teams with heavily customized implementations.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves operational and communication challenges by centralizing work tracking, ownership, priorities, and progress, enhancing visibility in fast-paced environments. It organizes workflows with centralized tickets and status updates, supporting cross-team collaboration.

  ### 2. Fast, Intuitive Ticketing That Keeps Teams Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samira K. | Account Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I like most about Jira is how fast and efficient it is when creating and managing tickets. It makes tracking progress very easy, and the interface is intuitive and user-friendly, which helps teams stay organized and work comfortably on a daily basis

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One aspect that could be improved is the experience for external users or clients who are not familiar with the platform. Sometimes they reply directly to notification emails instead of using the appropriate forms or workflows, which can create some confusion. Additionally, authentication and access management can occasionally feel a bit complex for less technical users

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira has helped streamline and centralize many internal processes. It allows me to quickly direct clients to the platform for specific requests or follow-ups, and it also makes it much easier for me to open and track tickets with other departments, such as Finance. Overall, it standardizes workflows, improves response times, and reduces the need for long or inefficient communication chains

  ### 3. Jira Remains the Gold Standard for Structured Engineering Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arindam S. | Command Centre Operator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira remains the gold standard for software engineering and structured operations. However, for non-technical teams or small groups under 10 people, simpler tools like Trello or Asana offer much faster onboarding with less administrative overhead.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Steep learning curve: The interface and terminology can feel intimidating for non-technical teams or for new users.

Risk of admin bloat: Because it’s highly configurable, it’s easy to over-engineer the setup with too many custom fields and overly complex approval steps.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira eliminates task fragmentation and manual handoffs by providing a centralized, automated platform for team workflows. It benefits our team by increasing visibility into project bottlenecks, automating routine administrative tasks, and giving leadership reliable metrics to predict delivery timelines accurately.

  ### 4. Powerful Issue Tracking and Custom Workflows with Full QA Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjun D. | QA Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like best about Jira is its strong issue tracking and workflow customization. As a QA professional, it gives me complete visibility into bug status, priorities, sprint progress, and release tracking. The ability to create detailed tickets with attachments, logs, steps to reproduce, and custom fields makes communication with developers very clear. I also appreciate how workflows can be tailored to match our testing and release process. Dashboards and filters help me quickly track open defects and monitor sprint quality, which makes daily tracking structured and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One thing I dislike about Jira is that it can sometimes feel complex and heavy, especially for new users. The interface has many options, and without proper configuration, it can become overwhelming. Advanced filters and JQL are powerful, but they have a learning curve. Performance can also slow down in large projects with many custom fields and workflows. While it is very flexible, that flexibility sometimes makes setup and maintenance more time consuming than expected

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira addresses the problem of unstructured bug tracking and scattered project updates by offering a centralized place to manage tasks, defects, and sprint progress. Before I used it, tracking issues through email threads or chat messages often led to missed updates, unclear ownership, and a lack of consistent follow-up. With Jira, each bug has a clearly defined status, priority, assignee, and history, which makes it much easier to understand where things stand at any moment.

As a QA professional, this gives me end-to-end visibility into the defect lifecycle. I can track retesting more reliably, keep an eye on regression impact, and make sure accountability is clear across the team. Overall, it improves coordination with developers and makes sprint tracking and release management far more organized and transparent.

  ### 5. Great Visibility and Structured Sprint Planning With Jira.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajshree S. | Sales Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira offers good visibility in terms of tasks, sprints, and issues, with highly customizable workflows. The boards, backlogs, and sprint planning features are helpful in structuring development cycles in a proper manner.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The interface is a bit complex, which can become overwhelming for new users, especially if they are not properly on-boarded. The initial setup and configuration of workflows take time, and if not used in a proper manner, projects and backlogs can become messy.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What problems is it solving and how does it help you?
It helps in replacing scattered task management, emails, and other updates with a unified system for managing development work, which in turn helps in improving project management, prioritization, and coordination with development, QA, and product teams, while ensuring proper transparency in the entire project life cycle.

  ### 6. Powerful Project Management Tool for Teams

  ### 7. Smooth project tracking with Jira

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MIHIR U. | Developer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

In our sprint workflow, Jira is used to track user stories, bugs, and tasks. For example, when working on an API in MuleSoft, I pick up a Jira ticket, move it to “In Progress,” and update it with implementation details or blockers. During daily standups, we refer to Jira boards to discuss progress. I also use comments to share API endpoints, logs, or test results, so everything stays documented in one place.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes tickets have many mandatory fields, which slows down updates. Also, navigating between multiple linked tickets (story, sub-task, bug) can take extra time.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, task tracking was done over emails or chats, which made it hard to trace updates. Now, Jira provides a structured way to track development work, sprint progress, and issue resolution. It improves visibility for both developers and stakeholders.

  ### 8. Jira Makes Task Tracking and Team Progress Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kamini V. | Cloud Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I most like how good Jira is for organizing tasks into their respective groups and visualizing the team progress. I use it on a daily basis to view my tickets and bugs, my sprints and how everyone else is doing in general. I found Jira useful as you could tailor the workflow, and dashboards, to suit your project.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The interface itself can appear a little daunting at first glance, to those unaccustomed. All of this has to sink in, the positioning of the controls, for instance. It could take quite a while to grasp the intricate configurations, or workflows.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira ensures tasks and sprint are always on a centralized platform which reduces the effort of following up on individual task with team members and overall ensures better team co-ordination and task delivery on time.

  ### 9. Great Sprint Visibility with Boards and Reporting.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sharad S. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The application allows for the organization of work in a well-structured workflow with clear ownership, priority, and status. It allows for good visibility into sprint progress, backlog health, and potential bottlenecks using boards, dashboards, and reporting. This is helpful for the team to stay aligned and focused on execution.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The application requires a well-disciplined setup. Without proper workflows, naming conventions, and proper management of the backlog, the boards may become messy, which could affect the overall usability. In addition, the application interface is complex for non-technical users.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The application eliminates the need for managing different emails and tools for tracking. It is a single system for execution. Using this application will provide a smoother workflow for the team. In addition, traceability is easier, which will result in a predictable workflow.

  ### 10. Keeps Development Organized and Transparent with Flexible Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira has helped our team stay much more organized and transparent throughout our development cycles. From sprint planning to bug tracking, it keeps everything centralized, well documented, and easy to follow. I also appreciate its flexibility and the integrations available, even though the learning curve can feel a bit steep for new users at first.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira can be overwhelming for new users at times, mainly because there are so many configurations and options to sort through. Getting everything set up initially—especially when you start customizing workflows—takes some time to learn, and it may require admin-level experience to ensure the configuration is done properly.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps address major challenges around project visibility, task tracking, team collaboration, and delivery management in fast-paced development environments. Before using Jira, it was hard to maintain transparency across teams, track dependencies efficiently, and monitor sprint progress in real time.

After adopting Jira, our workflows became far more structured and performance-focused. The platform streamlines Agile execution, strengthens accountability, and reduces delays by providing a centralized place to manage tasks, priorities, releases, and reporting.

One of the biggest benefits has been improved operational performance and stronger decision-making through dashboards, automation, and AI-powered suggestions. These tools help identify bottlenecks, prioritize work, and optimize productivity.

From an ROI perspective, Jira has significantly reduced manual coordination, improved sprint predictability, and enhanced cross-functional collaboration. Overall, it has helped us save time, improve delivery efficiency, and increase team productivity while scaling projects more effectively.

  ### 11. End-to-End Project Tracking with Easy Integrations and a Simple Workflow Blueprint

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanshul C. | Technology Head, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

End-to-end project management and tracking. We’re able to identify dependent stories and tasks and build a cross-product matrix. Developers can track their time, which makes it easier for finance to measure capex and opex.

Integration is straightforward, and we receive alerts on Google Chat and via email. The UI/UX is easy to use. Once you create a blueprint (a workflow), all your tickets can follow the same process.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

If there’s a cross-team project with Jira tickets spread across two different boards, we should have a multi-board view available somewhere. This would make it easier for the scrum master and the product team to see and manage all dependencies in one place, instead of switching between boards.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves end-to-end project tracking, developer productivity tracking, reporting for monthly reviews, and client ticket generation.

  ### 12. Audit-Ready and Essential for Compliance in High-Stakes Environments

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raveendra T. | Front Office Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of trade-processing enhancements. I appreciate the rigorous audit trail it provides across our release cycles. Moving tickets from UAT to Production with mandatory fields for testing evidence helps ensure nothing reaches our trade desks without proper sign-off. It creates a bulletproof history that satisfies both internal auditors and regulatory requirements.

I also value the enforced compliance built into the workflow gates, which lets us attach the necessary evidence before a ticket can move to 'Ready for Production' status. That level of transparency is our primary defense during internal audits, turning what used to be a weeks-long manual investigation into a straightforward query. In addition, Jira’s 'Versions' and 'Releases' features are especially useful because they let us bundle multiple fixes into a single deployment, making it easier for me to manage expectations with the front office.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Complexity for Non-Technical Users: IT may appreciate the deep customization, but the interface can feel overwhelming for desk heads or front-office stakeholders who just want a quick status update on a trade-system fix. Notification Fatigue: Without aggressive filtering, the sheer volume of automated emails can make it easy to miss critical alerts about 'Production Breaks.' Rigid Workflows: While 'gates' are helpful for compliance, they can also be too restrictive during emergency production incidents, when we need to move quickly to prevent a settlement failure.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira provides clear audit transparency and helps reduce operational risk by eliminating the chaotic back-and-forth of tracking bugs over email. It makes it easier to prioritize settlement fixes based on impact, cuts down on manual follow-ups, and helps prevent costly errors.

  ### 13. Jira Makes Work Tracking and Progress Visibility Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Althaf P. | Associate System Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I like most about Jira is how easy it makes it to track work in one place. I can quickly see who’s working on what, what’s still pending, and what’s already completed, without having to chase people for updates. The Scrum and Kanban boards make it straightforward to visualize progress at a glance, and the workflow customization is especially helpful when you need the tool to match how your team actually works.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

What I dislike about Jira is that it can feel overwhelming at times, especially for new users. It offers a lot of features and configuration options, which can make it seem complicated to set up at first and sometimes harder to navigate.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps solve the problem of scattered communication and unclear task ownership. Instead of tracking work through emails or chat messages, everything is centralized in one system with clear statuses and accountability.

This benefits me by giving better visibility into project progress, helping prioritize tasks, and reducing confusion about deadlines or responsibilities. It makes collaboration more structured and efficient.

  ### 14. Streamlined Project Management with Room for Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasanth K. | Enterprise Architect | Cloud Transformation Leader | Driving Multi-Cloud Strategy, Solutions | DevSecOps Excellence | Innovation Resilient Infrastructure at Scale, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I appreciate the ease of use with Jira, making it simple to track back to previous sprints, stories, and EPICs for reporting. It's easy to track my work and report or mark blockers for necessary help. I also like its integration with Confluence and Teams, which notifies me immediately of any assigned stories so I can quickly check them and plan my work. Linking reference materials for new stories on Confluence is really convenient. Setting up teams or groups is also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I find the lack of integration with Outlook a bit of a hassle. If Outlook was integrated, I could easily send notifications to the concerned people about blocked stories. Right now, this process requires manual effort and is quite time-consuming.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira provides real-time tracking for project management, allowing complete visibility of work breakdown and progress. It integrates well with tools like Confluence and Teams, facilitating easy updates and planning. I appreciate how it helps me track my stories and manage blockers efficiently.

  ### 15. Keeps Work Organized and Easy to Track, Though the Interface Can Feel Cluttered

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitish J. | Lead Statistical Analyst, Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I like about Jira is that it keeps all my work organised in one place. It’s easy to track tasks, see progress, and coordinate with other team members. The board makes it simple to understand what still needs to be done and what’s already finished.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The interface can feel cluttered, like there are too many things happening at once. It takes time to figure out where everything is, especially for new users. Creating and editing tickets can be tedious, and there are too many fields to fill out.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps track tasks and issues in one place, so it’s harder to miss anything. It also improves team collaboration by keeping everyone aligned on what needs to be done.

  ### 16. Organized Ticket Management, A Few Messy Details

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulises M. | Backend Developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira to manage my tickets and I like being organized with it. I appreciate how Jira helps me track my time and allows me to see when tasks start and end. I actually like the fact that there are some apps like Tempo in Jira, which help me keep track of my work and know how long it takes to complete a ticket. It's also quite easy to set up with plenty of tutorials available.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes Jira is a bit messy. Some subtasks are just too hidden or have way too many options, which can be confusing. Also, it sometimes gets a bit hard to understand, especially at the beginning when trying to use it correctly and effectively.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to manage my tickets, tracking time and keeping organized in support work. It helps track when tasks start and end. So my PM adds tasks there and I see them, complete them, mark my time and that is basically what I do with Jira. My company (INNEW) uses it as its primary ticket management tool, plus it is quite easy to integrate with other softwares

  ### 17. Jira Keeps My Work Organized with Effortless Tracking and Bitbucket Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shruti A. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira helps me stay organized without overthinking my work. I use labels, status tracking, comments, and the Bitbucket integration almost daily to keep tasks and code changes connected, which saves a lot of time. I also love that even if I forget which Git branch I was working on, everything is still linked and easy to trace. It’s become a tool I genuinely rely on to keep my day running smoothly.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

There’s honestly nothing major to dislike so far. I’d love to see continued improvements, especially around deeper AI integration—such as auto-generating ticket descriptions, creating tickets automatically, and smart auto-assignment based on historical data and usage patterns. Features like these could make an already strong workflow even more efficient.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the chaos of scattered tasks and “who’s working on what” confusion. Before, things could easily get lost in chats or memory, but now everything—tasks, updates, comments, and code links—is in one place. It helps me stay focused, prioritize better, and avoid rework. I especially like that I can switch context and still come back without feeling lost because all the details are documented and easy to trace.

  ### 18. Clear Kanban Overview and Efficient Sprint Planning with Jira

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilva M. | UX designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I really like Jira, especially the Kanban board, because it provides a clear overview of task statuses and overall progress. It helps the team easily understand priorities and quickly identify bottlenecks.

The sprint planning feature is structured and efficient, making it easier to organize workload and plan tasks according to team capacity.

Overall, Jira is a great tool for organizing tasks, maintaining transparency, and supporting a structured workflow.

Sometimes it's down and we can't access our tasks, but it happens rarly.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes it goes down and we can’t access our tasks, but it happens rarely. Also, the UI seems overloaded with features. Maybe Jira should think about better segmentation: if I’m a product designer, I don’t need all the advanced features.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The sprint planning feature is well structured and efficient, which makes it easier to organize the workload and plan tasks based on the team’s capacity.

Overall, Jira is a strong tool for organizing tasks, maintaining transparency, and supporting a structured workflow across the team.

  ### 19. Dependable Project Visibility and Collaboration with Jira

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira has been a dependable tool for managing marketing projects, campaigns, and cross-functional collaboration. It keeps our work organized and offers solid visibility into task ownership and overall progress. That said, it can sometimes feel more tailored to engineering teams than to marketing users.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It can feel overly complex for what should be simple marketing workflows. Reporting and dashboards also require some initial setup before they become truly useful. Overall, the interface can be overwhelming for new users, especially at the beginning.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps us organize marketing projects, track campaign progress, and manage tasks across multiple team members. It improves visibility into priorities, keeps everyone aligned on deadlines, and reduces the need for manual follow-ups, resulting in better collaboration and more efficient campaign execution.

  ### 20. Centralizes Task Management with Room for Simplicity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Shipbuilding | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira mainly for tracking tasks, bugs, and managing sprint work. I love how easy it is to track everything in one place. The boards are very helpful to see progress quickly, and I appreciate the way we can assign tasks, set priority, and add comments, making communication simple. Notifications also help to not miss anything. It gives good visibility of work and makes things more organized. The boards help me quickly see what is pending, in progress, or done without needing to ask the team repeatedly. Task assignment clarifies ownership, reducing confusion, and notifications keep me updated on tasks or comments, ensuring I don’t miss anything important. Overall, it saves time and keeps work more clear and manageable.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

In Jira some things feel a bit complex sometimes. The UI is not very simple, new users take time to understand. Also too many fields in tickets sometimes, feels unnecessary and slows down work. Search/filter also not always easy, finding old tickets takes time. Sometimes notifications are too much, little confusing.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to track tasks, bugs, and manage sprint work. It organizes everything in one place, improves task visibility and accountability, and simplifies team coordination. Bug tracking is efficient, and using boards makes progress tracking easy.

  ### 21. Highly Customizable Agile Workflows with Powerful JQL and Automation

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priyanka P. | Technical Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What stands out most about Jira is its unmatched customizability for Agile teams. It gives you complete control over your workflows—allowing you to map out complex issue-tracking processes, build deep custom queries with JQL (Jira Query Language), and set up automated routines

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira is often criticized for its steep learning curve, cluttered interface, and susceptibility to becoming a bloated administrative nightmare. Because it is a highly flexible enterprise tool, it requires careful management. Common user complaints include:

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves core problems of fragmented communication, lack of project visibility, and disorganized task management by centralizing work into a single platform

  ### 22. Intuitive and Effective for Team Coordination

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam M. | Senior Technical Writer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I really like the UI of Jira. I've used several other tools, and Jira is my favorite because of how intuitive it is to use. It's very easy to navigate. The presentation of emails is much better, and I prefer it over its main rival, Microsoft Azure DevOps, even though I use both.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One thing that doesn't work well is the way graphical data, like the burndown chart, ties in with the data we put in. It doesn't quite match what we're expecting, possibly because we use both story points and actual hours spent, which skews the data a bit. Also, you can have hours or story points, but not both at the moment, which limits flexibility for teams using both.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to keep everyone on the same page with live updates. It shows current statuses and assigns tasks for reviews. Its email integration sends automatic notifications, keeping everyone informed.

  ### 23. Streamlined Team Collaboration with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Özgür Bülent K. | Senior IT Solution Architect, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like Jira most because of its user-friendly interface, which helps us easily navigate through the commands. It's very straightforward for leaving comments, assigning people to tasks and objectives, and including icons, likes, and other sorts of reviews into the comments.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Well, it's a straightforward application. There isn't much that is not working, actually. So, maybe, sometimes the Jira admins go ahead and configure certain add-ons into Jira, which in the end, makes sometimes the tickets harder to load. And, although I'm not using that specific add-on, others may use it, but I do not. And, I cannot disable that particular add-on because the admins do not allow it. And, well, in the end, I would have to go, you know, and contact the admin in order to ask them to turn off that add-on for me. Or, if it's not possible, then, I have to live with the delays that the additional add-ons may cause.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps us align between teams, understand task assignments and progress, and communicate effectively through tickets and comments, enabling us to accomplish tasks and objectives efficiently.

  ### 24. Easy-to-Use Jira Ticketing That Keeps Teams Aligned and Up to Date

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clayton M. | Manager, Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira was the ticketing system our IT team used to communicate internally with all teams and share updates on what they were working on. It was easy to use, and it made it simple to stay up to date on projects that were in development.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

For the most part, there wasn’t anything I disliked. I do remember running into a login issue that took a while to get resolved, but I don’t think it was really a system problem as much as it was someone in my IT department struggling to sort it out.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira was the ticketing system we used to open issues for our IT team to work on. Whenever we needed help with a feature request or something that was bugging out, we would create a ticket in Jira. From there, they would respond, track the request, and work through the issue within the system.

  ### 25. Great Tool for Tracking Dev Work and Team projects. Has too many knobs

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ajay G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

It is a great tool for tracking dev work and issues assigned to team members. We use it for development

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Their features are enabled either for the whole team or no one. We want to enable some features for part of the team and that does not work. So the pricing gets too high for such features.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide a great ticketing system to track dev work across different projects. They have a very dense UI, so you really have to know how to use various features.

  ### 26. Jira Keeps Projects Organized with Custom Workflows, Dashboards, and Clear Task Tracking

It allows teams to track tasks clearly from start to finish.
The customizable workflows make it adaptable to different project needs.
I also appreciate the detailed reporting and dashboards.
Overall, it improves collaboration and accountability within teams.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes Jira can feel overwhelming for new users.
The interface has many features, which can be confusing at first.
It can be time-consuming to set up workflows and boards.
Occasionally, performance slows down with very large projects.
Despite this, it’s still a powerful project management tool.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the problem of disorganized project management.
It helps me track tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities clearly.
I can see the progress of each team member in real time.
This improves collaboration and reduces misunderstandings.
As a result, projects are completed more efficiently and on time.

  ### 27. Highly Effective Agile Project Management with Transparent Task Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANANDA D. | Software Engineering Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira is a highly effective project management and issue tracing platform, particularly well suited for software development teams. Its most valuable feature is the ability to create pirortize, and track tasks with complete transparency across the team. The platform offers robust Agile support, including sprint planning, backlog management, and detailed reporting dashboards that provide clear visibility into project progress. Additionally, Jira's customizable workflows and integration capabilities make it adaptable to various business needs. while the initial setup and learning curve can be challenging for new users , it delivers strong long term value of teams managing complex or large scale projects.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira's interface can be overwhelming for beginners, and the initial setup requirs time and technical understanding.
It has a steep learning curve, customization can become complicated, performance may slow with heavy configurations, and pricing increase as the team grows.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps solve key business problems such as lack of task visibility, poor projrct tracking and inefficient team coordination, It centralizes all tasks , bugs, and project updates in one platform, improving transparency and accoutability. Jira also supports Agile planning, sprint management, and performace reporting, which helps teams meet deadlines, reduce bottlenecks, and improve overall productivity. By stresmlining workflows and providing real time insights, it enables better decision making and more efficient project delivery.

  ### 28. Comprehensive Tool with Room for Simplification

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonathan S. | Senior Unity Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like how Jira lets me track sprints per team member and how easy it is to create new tickets and link them. A feature I enjoy is the graph of our sprint progress.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It's a big software, and there are a lot of features that I don't know how to use properly. Maybe a thinned version would be helpful. It would be nice to have the basic things for sprint planning clustered together, like the tickets, the current sprint, and reports, and have the integration with Git and other things set aside.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira for sprint planning and tracking task progress. It provides visibility on team activities, showing progress and dependencies.

  ### 29. Custom Dashboards & Story Point Estimation Make Multi-Project Management Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deepa Sree K. | Software Engineer, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Specialized dashboards can be created, which makes it easier to view information in the way I need. Effort can be estimated using story points and QA points, helping with planning and tracking. It also supports handling multiple projects in one place, which is convenient for managing work across teams or initiatives.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

By default, Jira tends to spam your inbox for every tiny change. If someone so much as breathes on your ticket, you get an email. Fixing that means diving into “Notification Schemes,” which is a real headache.

Search is also split into “Basic” and “Advanced.” The basic search is often surprisingly bad at finding specific text, which ends up forcing you to learn JQL just to track down a ticket someone mentioned in a meeting.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can set up "If/Then" rules without knowing how to code. For example: "If a developer moves a ticket to 'Done', automatically notify the QA lead and tag it for the next release."

  ### 30. Excellent for Managing Projects, Teams, and Products Across the Corporation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ihor B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira holds the whole company in one place — engineering, design, QA, and ops all working off the same backlog. For us, that's the real value. No more "where does this ticket live" or chasing status in Slack.
A few things we use every day: custom workflows that match how each team actually works, sprints with proper velocity tracking, and the issue hierarchy (epics → stories → subtasks) that lets leadership see the roadmap and engineers see today's work in the same tool. Automation rules quietly do the boring stuff — moving tickets, pinging owners, closing stale items — and save us hours a week.
The Slack and GitHub integrations are also a big deal. A PR linked to a ticket updates status automatically, so reporting takes care of itself.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Slow and might be buggy depends on the use caseJira can feel heavy. Loading a busy board or running a JQL query on a large project is noticeably slow, and the UI has gotten more cluttered with every release — too many nested menus and panels for what should be simple actions.
Configuration is the other one. Out of the box, Jira tries to be everything for everyone, and getting it set up properly for your team takes a real admin investment. Permissions, screens, custom fields, workflows — every change feels like it needs a project of its own. Smaller teams without a dedicated admin end up either over-configuring or giving up on half the features.
Pricing also adds up fast once you layer in Confluence, advanced roadmaps, and the marketplace plugins most teams actually need. A leaner, faster, more opinionated default experience would go a long way.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Jira, our roadmap lived in spreadsheets, priorities lived in someone's head, and progress lived in standup notes. Engineering, product, and design were all working off slightly different versions of the truth — and small misalignments turned into shipped bugs and missed deadlines.
Now everything is in one place. Every initiative has an epic, every epic breaks down into stories, and every story has an owner and a status anyone in the company can see. Sprints give us a real cadence. Reporting takes minutes instead of hours — burn-down, velocity, and release health are right there.
The concrete wins: planning meetings are shorter, leadership stopped asking "what's the status of X" because they can see it themselves, and our release cycle has tightened by a sprint. For a product team that ships every two weeks, that compounds fast.

  ### 31. Robust Organizational Tool with Complexity Challenges

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan N. | Inventory Risk and Allocation Manager, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like how Jira gives me a single place to keep work organized instead of scattered across messages and spreadsheets. For operational work, it's genuinely useful – it makes ownership clearer, progress easier to track, and follow-up much less painful. It works well for cross-functional coordination, which is important when multiple teams need to stay aligned. The visibility, audit trail, and ability to move issues through a defined workflow make it especially practical for risk and allocation-related work. In short, it turns controlled chaos into something that looks manageable.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira can feel overly complex and slow when workflows, custom fields, or large backlogs pile up, and the reporting/admin settings are often harder to navigate than they should be. The main improvement I'd make is to stop Jira from turning ordinary workflow setup into a small administrative archaeology project - Jira gets cluttered, requires too much admin help, and slows down with large backlogs, complex workflows, and heavy customization. The initial setup was reasonably straightforward at the surface, but Jira does have a charming talent for making 'basic setup' turn into a mini configuration exercise once you start adjusting workflows, permissions, and fields. It's a strong tool for organization, workflow tracking, and cross-team visibility, but the complexity, admin overhead, and occasional 'why is this harder than it needs to be?' moments keep it from being an effortless recommendation.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to track operational work and manage risk tasks. It centralizes work for clear ownership, progress tracking, and cross-functional alignment, solving visibility and accountability issues. It creates an audit trail for tracking decisions and exceptions, turning chaos into manageable order.

  ### 32. Powerful but with Complex Configuration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas V. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like using Jira to have complete traceability of bugs and features, as each ticket retains a history, comments, and links to PRs. It facilitates sprint planning organization and allows me to see the team's workload at a glance. I also appreciate how it connects with GitHub so tasks are automatically linked with PRs, with Slack for notifications, and with Confluence for documenting projects.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It is slow, especially when the projects are large. The interface feels cluttered and often you have to click several times to do simple things. The initial setup of the workflows is complicated and usually requires someone dedicated to it. The interface could be cleaner, hiding advanced functions so that day-to-day use is simpler. And the workflows need better and clearer templates. Also, the performance, especially on boards with hundreds of tickets, is noticeably slow.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to manage the team's software development. It allows me to have complete traceability of bugs and features, with history and comments. It organizes sprint planning and allows you to see the team's workload at a glance.

  ### 33. Jira Makes Bug Reporting Seamless and Intuitive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gautam R. | Prompt Engineer, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

The best thing I like about Jira is its easy-to-use interface. As a software tester, I’ve worked with several project management and bug-tracking tools over the past year, and Jira makes bug reporting a seamless experience. Creating detailed bug tickets feels intuitive: you can attach screenshots, logs, and steps to reproduce all in one place. I also like being able to set priority and severity, and link the bug directly.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I feel like Jira has become more sluggish, especially on the VDI version when working with larger projects.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira addresses the core problem of fragmentation in the software development process. As a tester, the biggest benefit for me is feeling like a fully integrated part of the development lifecycle instead of working in isolation. It’s made my work more organized and more visible, and it’s helped my contributions have a clearer impact on overall product quality.

  ### 34. Streamlined Project Management and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manohar D. | SEO Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I appreciate Jira for its flexible workflows, task tracking, and how it keeps the whole team aligned. It makes it easy to assign tasks, track progress in real time, and keep everyone updated without constant follow-ups. The initial setup was fairly easy, and the available templates helped us get started quickly. I also value the better sprint planning, customizable workflows, and more detailed reporting as our projects became more complex.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

The interface can feel a bit overwhelming for new users, and the search function could be faster. A simpler layout for first-time users, fewer clicks to access common features, and more accurate search filters would make the experience much smoother.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to keep projects organized, enhance team collaboration, and easily track progress.

  ### 35. Structured Boards and Seamless Integrations for Scalable Project Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

Uses automation rules to handle repetitive tasks
Improves team efficiency by organizing and prioritizing work effectively

  ### 36. Effortless Task Tracking and Ownership Clarity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harjoth S. | Business Lead, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira to quickly monitor and track daily tasks, progress, and tickets all in one place. It’s especially helpful for creating tickets for fixes and corrections or flagging bugs, which reduces confusion around ownership and makes it clear who is handling what. Having everything in a single location also means I don’t have to deal with multiple scattered platforms.

The comments are the most useful feature for me because they provide updates and make it easy to have small, focused discussions. When a task gets stuck, the comments are where we can talk through delays, clarify any confusion, and keep everyone aligned on what’s happening.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

It is a bit complex for a new user but then with time use to it.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to monitor daily tasks and track progress in one place. It solves ownership clarity issues and centralizes communication, reducing platform clutter. Comments are very helpful for updates and minor task discussions, especially when issues arise.

  ### 37. Jira’s Integrations and AI Intelligence Streamline Complex Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditi P. | HR Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I value most about Jira is its balance of robust integrations and AI-driven intelligence, which streamline complex cross-functional workflows. While the UI/UX is highly customizable for diverse team needs, the platform delivers strong ROI by consolidating project tracking, performance monitoring, and support documentation into a single, high-performing source of truth.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

ira’s primary drawbacks lie in its cluttered UI/UX, which creates a steep learning curve and "configuration fatigue" for new users. Additionally, performance lag in data-heavy boards and a complex pricing structure—where essential features often require paid add-ons—can diminish the overall ROI. These factors, combined with a difficult onboarding process, often make the platform feel over-engineered for smaller, agile teams.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the problem of fragmented project management by providing a centralized, high-performance engine for tracking complex work. Its extensive integration ecosystem eliminates data silos by connecting seamlessly with development and communication tools, ensuring a single source of truth.

By leveraging AI-driven intelligence for predictive insights and automated workflows, it significantly boosts ROI through improved team velocity. For me, this benefits the organization by transforming cluttered task lists into a structured, visible roadmap that simplifies onboarding and scales efficiently with the business.

  ### 38. Powerful Project Planning and Reporting with Jira

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prasanna H. | Associate Project Manager, Furniture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira's broader ability towards report making and project management. I've used Jira for more than 3 years and I like the way it helps in planning the projects (Sprints, Stories and at task level)

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I feel Jira would look like a little complex tool when a newbie starts using JIRA initially with loads of features showing up.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helped me solve the Resource allocation problem with proper effort mapping and tracking. Since I was a new project manager in the team of 15+ junior developer I used to track each activity in the project which was taken care by individuals. From Bug creation till the Story Completion.

  ### 39. Flexible Task Management with Complex Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Azam H. | Data Science Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira to manage tasks, track bugs, and organize project workflows efficiently. Jira solved the problem of scattered work and poor visibility, as it keeps all tasks, bugs, and project updates in one place, making it easy to track progress, assign responsibility, and ensure nothing gets missed. I like most about Jira is its flexibility and clear tracking, which helps organize work, customize workflows, and provides good visibility into project progress. Flexibility in Jira helps me adapt it to different types of work like general task management, and tracking makes it valuable because everything is visible in one place, reducing confusion.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Jira can feel complex, slow at times, and takes effort to set up, especially for new users or small teams. It could improve by offering simpler onboarding, ready-to-use templates, a cleaner interface, and better default settings for new users.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solved scattered work and poor visibility by keeping tasks, bugs, and updates in one place. Its flexibility lets me adapt it for various tasks, and its tracking ensures clear visibility, reducing confusion.

  ### 40. Jira Makes Fair Task Distribution Easy Across the Team.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhimanyu K. | Asset Record Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira has proven itself an effective method of distributing tasks among team members without the risk of overloading one particular person. In order to make sure that tasks are distributed fairly among my team members, I often turn to Jira to find out who is supposed to do what, and then redistribute tasks accordingly in order to ensure balance in workload.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Reassignment of several tickets might not always be easy, especially in comparison with changing the assignee of just one ticket, but the results will definitely be worth the trouble.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The greatest advantage of using Jira for managing projects is the possibility of distributing tasks and workload in a way that will be as fair to all team members as possible.

  ### 41. Easy Task Tracking and Insightful Sprint Reports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parikh Parth H. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

Jira makes it very easy to track tasks, bugs, and user stories in one place.
Jira provides helpful reports like burndown charts and sprint reports, which make it easier to understand team progress.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes it can feel a bit complex or overloaded with too many fields, workflows, and options, especially for new users. This can make simple task updates take more time than expected.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It benefits me by giving clear visibility on what tasks are assigned to me, their priority, current status, and deadlines. It also helps the team follow the Agile process properly, manage sprints, avoid missed tasks, and collaborate better between developers, QA, and product owners.

  ### 42. Effortless Sprint Management, Minor Visibility Issues

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I use Jira for Scrums and agile processes, and it helps us in planning and managing sprint/kanban boards for our teams. I particularly like the way I can manage my stories/epics and link similar issues for better visibility. It's a great tool for tracking dependencies when I'm working on a story that depends on another team member's work. Additionally, the integration with Teams is seamless, and the initial setup of Jira was too easy.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Planning poker agility is sometimes weird. As a planner, if I start estimation of efforts for a particular story, sometimes it makes the points visible to other teammates, and we should not share it before the estimation ends.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps us in planning and managing sprint/kanban boards and allows me to manage stories/epics and link similar issues for better visibility. It also supports handling dependencies when multiple developers work on interrelated stories.

  ### 43. Boosts Team Efficiency with Clear Work Tracking, Dashboards, and Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yash P. | Associate Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

It helps our team organize work efficiently by creating user stories, tasks, and bugs, and assigning them to the right team members with clear priorities and deadlines. Jira also provides good visibility through dashboards and reports, which helps in tracking progress, identifying blockers, and improving overall team collaboration. Additionally, its integration with other tools makes it easier to manage workflows, maintain transparency, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One aspect I dislike about Jira is that it can sometimes feel overly complex for simple tasks. The flexibility of workflows, fields, and configurations is powerful, but it often requires significant setup and ongoing maintenance, which can slow down teams that need quick execution.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the problem of scattered communication and unstructured work tracking by providing a single platform where all tasks, bugs, and requirements are centrally managed. It helps ensure that nothing is missed by clearly defining ownership, priorities, and timelines for every activity.

  ### 44. Highly Customizable Issue Tracking That Keeps Workflows Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rahul A. | Data analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

What I like most about Jira is how easily it adapts to different workflows while still keeping everything organized in one place.

At its core, Jira offers strong issue tracking: you can break large projects into tasks, subtasks, bugs, and user stories, then follow their progress clearly. What really stands out, though, is the level of customization. You can tailor workflows, statuses, and fields to match your team’s process exactly, whether you’re working in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or a similar approach.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

A common drawback of Jira is that it can feel complex and overwhelming for beginners. With so many features, configuration options, and settings, the initial learning curve can be quite steep—especially for someone who’s new to project management tools.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira mainly helps solve the challenge of managing and tracking work in a structured, organized way, especially when a project involves multiple people working together.

  ### 45. Solid Tool for Project Management, Needs UI Updates

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chaim and Liora S. | Senior Data Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like that Jira is pretty easy to use, especially in the context we use it in. The drag-and-drop feature is convenient. Adding attachments and code snippets is pretty effortless, which I appreciate. I also like how you can link different tasks to other tasks if they're related or dependent.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I think the UI sucks. It's really got a feel of, you know, like it hasn't been updated in, like, fifteen, twenty years. And it's also not always so intuitive. The color scheme is very basic. That's maybe what makes it look so old. It's like basically white, black, and blue pretty much. It's a bit boring, and looks very simplistic. I guess that the menus aren't very easy to navigate. It's not very easy to find, what, if you want to, like, if you wanna find an old task or something like that, the search filters aren't that great. Or that easy to use. It's difficult to basically change to different dashboards, I guess, unless you've had training. But it's not so intuitive.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Jira to manage project progress, making it easy to update my manager. It helps with time management by logging time on tasks and identifying bottlenecks.

  ### 46. Boosts Team Coordination with Intuitive Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sourav C. | Information Systems Security - Masters Student, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I find Jira simple and easy to use, especially for tracking individual and team work. I appreciate creating scrum boards and managing sprints along with seeing the graphs and metrics like velocity charts after sprints. I also like the integration with Slack and GitHub which allows branches and PRs to be tracked directly and keep notifications and emails organized. Connecting and interacting with the team through comments is very straightforward and the UI has all the options needed for efficient sprint management. Additionally, the integration with Jira Service Management for alerts and features like calendar, backlog and timeline add to its usefulness. The new co-pilot auto PR generation is something I really like as well even though I've just started using it. The setup was smooth with no complexity.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

Sometimes the PR's or branches we create don't get tracked automatically or updates late. Would be better if an option to manually add a branch or PR can be added instead of relying completely on the Jira ticket id.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps us track individual and team work, manage sprints with easy-to-use scrum boards, and resolve tickets efficiently. We can see completed and pending tasks in one place and integrate with Slack, GitHub for seamless communication and updates.

  ### 47. Jira: The Best Task Management Tool for Tracking and Updates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

In Jira sometime feels very complicated to new user

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Problems Jira Solves
Information Silos: Without a tool like Jira, project details are buried in emails, Slack DMs, and "that one guy's" head. Jira centralizes everything.

The "Who's Doing What?" Fog: It eliminates the ambiguity of ownership. Every task (Issue) has an Assignee and a Status.

Scope Creep: By using Backlogs and Sprints, Jira prevents teams from getting distracted by "shiny new ideas" before finishing the work they already committed to.

Lack of Historical Context: Ever wonder why a specific bug was fixed a certain way three years ago? Jira provides an audit trail of every comment, attachment, and code commit related to that task.

  ### 48. Best-in-JIRA Agile Boards and Team Dashboard for Smooth Stand-ups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeevan G. | Senior Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like the Agile boards and team dashboard they are the best in JIRA. We typically land everytime on agile borads everytime. It's clear and sectionwise and able to filter based on team members with ease is a massive win.
We use it for stand-ups as well.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

I'm currently not liking the github and Zephyr Scale integration that much. As I face issues sometimes. Like in git I have created branch names with the JIRA ticket ID for some of the JIRA Parent tickets the PR (Pull request) are visible but for some it's not. But when i navigate to the child JIRA ticket then it's visible. Coming to Zephyr Scale integrations I think it needs more improvements. Approval of the dev for a particulat ticket is hectic to find the proper test case and to navigate till there.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira is solving the Time and Issue tracking for our software development products. Gives us a product roadmap with an estimated time for completion and reports. Tracking the overall progress for top level officials is easy.

  ### 49. Jira Keeps QA Bug Tracking Clear and Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohit J. | Associate staff engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

I like most about Jira is how effectively it supports the QA process. As a manual tester, it helps me log and track bugs clearly, attach evidence, and follow their status until closure. The workflow and boards make it easy to coordinate with developers and keep testing tasks organised throughout the sprint

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

One thing I dislike about Jira is that it can sometimes feel slow and a bit complex, especially when there are too many custom fields or workflows. Also, searching for specific issues or filters is not always very intuitive.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira helps our team track bugs, manage testing tasks, and keep clear visibility of issue status. It improves coordination between QA and developers and reduces confusion during the development cycle.
It also reduces time for manager to look up the things.

  ### 50. Powerful, Feature-Rich JIRA That Streamlines Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashoo J. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Jira?**

As a regular user, I find JIRA to be a solid tool for managing projects and tracking work. It’s fairly easy to use once you get the hang of it, although there’s a bit of a learning curve at the beginning. The implementation process is straightforward, especially with the available documentation and templates to guide you.

I use it daily, and it offers a wide range of features that support everything from simple task tracking to more complex workflows. It also makes collaboration within the team much smoother, since it’s easier to stay aligned on what’s in progress and what’s coming next. Overall, it’s a powerful tool that fits well into most development and project management setups.

The Kanban-style board, in particular, makes it very easy to track activities and keep work moving. It also integrates well with Microsoft Teams, where we can share tickets and quickly view short descriptions without having to switch contexts.

**What do you dislike about Jira?**

At times, it feels overly complex and heavy, especially when I’m working on simple projects. It also depends on admin support even for small changes, which can slow teams down and make quick adjustments harder than they need to be.

**What problems is Jira solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Jira solves the problem of tracking work, priorities, and progress in one central place, and it helps me manage tasks, bugs, and changes clearly across teams. Having everything in a single hub makes it easier to stay organized and keep work moving forward without losing visibility into what matters most.
