Who is IFS Cloud ERP pricing best suited for?

IFS Cloud's pricing is best suited for mid-market to enterprise organizations in asset-intensive industries. The majority of G2 reviewers come from manufacturing, oil and gas, utilities, aerospace, and construction segments with 51 to over 1,000 employees. These organizations leverage IFS Cloud for complex workflows spanning maintenance, supply chain, finance, and field service management where a unified platform justifies premium costs. G2 reviewers in smaller or less operationally complex businesses flag the pricing as disproportionate to their needs. Organizations requiring deep ERP customization, multi-site operations, or industry-specific compliance such as MRO aviation or offshore energy management extract the strongest value from IFS Cloud's pricing structure.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of IFS Cloud ERP?

IFS Cloud offers no free tier or publicly listed pricing tiers according to G2 data. IFS Cloud's pricing is structured entirely around custom enterprise quotes, meaning prospective buyers must engage IFS directly to obtain costs. G2 reviewers note that IFS Cloud's pricing model includes per-user licensing plus module-based fees, with maintenance costs running approximately 21% of license price annually. One reviewer flagged that perpetual license holders are losing support, pushing migration to subscription-based IFS Cloud. Modifications and customizations beyond standard configuration carry additional charges, and several G2 users report being upsold features still under development, including AI capabilities not yet fully delivered.

Is IFS Cloud ERP considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviews of IFS Cloud present a mixed value picture. Positive reviewers highlight deep customization without code modifications, strong maintenance and asset management modules, and broad industry coverage across manufacturing, oil and gas, utilities, and aerospace as justifying the cost. However, multiple G2 reviewers explicitly flag high licensing fees, steep maintenance costs cited at roughly 21% of license price, and expensive modifications as significant concerns. One reviewer noted switching from a perpetual license after IFS discontinued support. Poor support responsiveness and the need for costly consultants further erode perceived value. IFS Cloud pricing appears justified for complex asset-intensive operations but draws consistent criticism from mid-market manufacturers seeking leaner ERP investments.

What do you like best about IFS Cloud ERP?

It is a cloud based system - you need a browser + mobile data / Wifi and you can work. With Page Designer and BPA Workflows you can adjust it due to the real needs and give the system the usability which is missing. I like all the creators of Browser Extensions which are again adding the value what IFS is missing. If the system would not create so much blocking issues there would be less need to raise an IFS Ticket, with the most of them I'm happy - what I don't like is this stupid sentence from R&D- that is as the system is designed - that isn't the correct way - and why I get told to create an idea for it? Working with the REST API is also great, we wish a better documentation about some logic condition and about changes to adjust existing coding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IFS Cloud ERP?

R&D answer - this is like the system is defined. Pure option for document storage. Missing long time archiving for documents. More direct Navigation Links like for the relationship from Demand to PR to PO nothing for PO to Register Arrival / Direct delivery Arrivals / Receipts and backwards. More Information about changes of validations - A complete List of all Toasted Messages and why they are raised to find the root cause quicker. Inform about all new Validation - so that we can inform end user about them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
