Text-to-Music reviews on G2 are thin enough across the board that a rating difference between these two says less than it looks like. Suno AI&#39;s strength in turning a simple idea into a usable track quickly is answering a different need than Soundraw&#39;s structured mood, genre, and length selection. One is built for open-ended creative exploration, and the other for filling a specific functional slot like background music. A podcast specifically needs music that fits a defined role, an intro, a transition, and background under narration, which sounds closer to what Soundraw&#39;s structured approach is built for than Suno&#39;s more open-ended generation, even though Suno&#39;s rating is nominally higher.
With review counts this small for both tools, the post&#39;s own question about whether rating predicts how often a podcaster actually reaches for a tool is exactly the right skepticism to bring, since a handful of reviews from one-off experimenters can produce a very different score than the same tool would get from someone using it weekly for months. The real signal for a podcast producer specifically is probably how much editing happens after generation before a track is usable, since that&#39;s the step that determines whether a tool actually saves time in a real production workflow or just produces a rough starting point that still needs real work.
