## iCONECT Reviews
  ### 1. iConect is mostly adequate now, but is falling quickly behind in technology/functionality.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2024

**What do you like best about iCONECT?**

Because I use the product daily, I'm very comfortable with the layout, features, and search capabilities.

**What do you dislike about iCONECT?**

The program is often slow to respond and has bouts of 'glitching' which has caused significant upset to work flow and danger to project deadlines. Additionally, it will not display some of the 'newer' filetypes, such as .HEIC photos, in the Native view. Likewise, less-popular video files, (i.e., not .MP4 or .MOV) haven't been getting recognized during processing and so are being incorrectly converted to .txt files with junk information.
These issues really disrupt the document load and review process.

**What problems is iCONECT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform structure helps keep costs down, especially now that so many new and superfluous file types are coming into play (e.g., cellphone data files).

  ### 2. confusing and difficult program

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2017

**What do you like best about iCONECT?**

the best part of this program is the ability to aggregate enormous amounts of documents... hundreds of thousands of documents that are then searchable, and can be organized and put into various groups.

**What do you dislike about iCONECT?**

I really dislike this program. I have been using it for months and still have problems finding my way around. You actually need an instruction sheet to use the program. It is not user friendly and not easy to learn without training.

**What problems is iCONECT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

discovery document production

  ### 3. User Friendly Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas F. | Litigation Associate, Legal Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2015

**What do you like best about iCONECT?**

Very user-friendly platform, navigating documents and implementing filters and searches is very intuitive. Smooth screen transitions, smart tool options and cruise control are a must in this kind of software. Cruise control is the best feature of this software, and unlike any other software we've utilized, it's a no-brainer.

**What do you dislike about iCONECT?**

Document transition was a bit slow at times, unsure if that's related to the individual project or the server. On time sensitive projects it is troublesome to have to wait on the next document to load each time. Again, unsure if that's related to the individual project documents or the server itself.

**Recommendations to others considering iCONECT:**

I would highly recommend this product for large projects, the ease of use makes training minimal and coding extremely efficient. You will save time and frustration.

**What problems is iCONECT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tackling and coding large numbers of business documents. The software provides efficiency and reliability such that we are able to get through projects in a timely manner, moreso than other platforms.
