"Powerful and Reviewer-Friendly E‑Discovery Platform"
What do you like best about Relativity?

Relativity delivers strong, well-rounded capabilities that make it both powerful and reviewer-friendly. It streamlines workflows so reviewers can quickly find documents within their work streams, apply coding decisions with ease, and use search terms to guide each coder in a way that fits their individual preferences. The intuitive interface and advanced search features help reduce friction during document review, while the robust analytics and automation tools support greater accuracy and efficiency throughout the broader e-discovery process. What do you dislike about Relativity?

Relativity’s main downsides are its complexity and cost. Administrative tasks can be difficult to manage without formal training, and the platform’s premium pricing makes it a heavy investment. Still, those challenges stem from its vast capabilities, which deliver powerful functionality once mastered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Relativity: Comprehensive, Powerful, and Easy to Use"
What do you like best about Relativity?

Relativity is remarkably complete and comprehensive, while still being very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

I don’t like the document translation feature, as it’s often inaccurate and unreliable. I also feel that some common DFIR-oriented functions are missing, although that may simply reflect my personal preferences and professional background. Finally, I think the platform would benefit a lot from a real-time AI chat assistant to help speed up project management, as well as review, triage, and analysis. "Relativity is a comprehensive tool that offers a large amount of options to deal with data review."
What do you like best about Relativity?

Relativity is very customizable. It can work for a large variety of collections and reviews. It's fantastic to have all of the data in one place. I think that competitors sometimes focus on one aspect of the eDiscovery process and end up losing ground on other parts of the process. Relativity seems to be moving toward being a one-stop shop for most parts of eDiscovery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

Relativity is a beast of a program. It can sometimes seem very overwhelming because it is so large and has so many uses/options. I think some things are becoming more user-friendly. I'd like to see more options become available in automatic workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Essential Platform for E-Discovery with Scalable Power"
What do you like best about Relativity?

I like Relativity's flexibility and scalability in handling large e-discovery matters. The platform offers powerful search, analytics, and review workflows that make document and privilege review more efficient and defensible. Features like advanced filtering, batching, QC tools, and customizable workflows help streamline review processes, reduce manual effort, and maintain consistency across teams. Additionally, Relativity's stability and continuous feature enhancements make it a reliable tool for complex projects. I also appreciate its robust features and scalability, as well as the strong support it provides. The platform continues to evolve with advanced analytics, Relativity AI, and other GenAI-driven capabilities that help improve efficiency and consistency in review processes. Its data breach response and investigations tools add significant value by enabling faster and more structured analysis in sensitive matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

While Relativity is a robust platform, some features have a learning curve, especially for new users. Certain advanced workflows and searches can require additional configuration and technical understanding. Performance and interface responsiveness could also be improved when working with very large datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Tool for E-Discovery with Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Relativity?

I like Relativity's reliability. It's a pretty big name in the e-discovery industry and is well-known for its review features. Everyone I've talked to who uses it has been pleased with the progress it's made, especially with the addition of the AI feature. It's also pretty user-friendly. I find the out-of-the-box analytics, like email threading and active learning, really helpful for digging through large amounts of data and honing in on the most relevant documents for review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

Right now, for us, the major pain point is trying to use their transcript application. It's not as robust as other software that's on the market. And when we're dealing with having a Relativity subscription, we kind of want one tool to handle everything. But, unfortunately, it kinda falls short with the transcripts. "Effortless Document Management with Intuitive Interface"
What do you like best about Relativity?

I love how Relativity makes it really easy to search, filter, analyze, group documents, and synthesize facts using its AI. I find the user interface to be really easy and intuitive. As an admin, it's impressive how everything is straightforward, and whenever I have a question, the documentation provides obvious solutions. The setup was really easy too, and I appreciate how seamless the switch to managing databases internally was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

I'd like there to be some improvements in saved searches (being able to copy and paste conditions, being able to easily move searches across workspaces). There are also some aspects of data importing/processing that I have tiny nits with. When I am looking at a list of job exceptions, for example, I'd love for there to be an option to return to the processing set without having to go back to the main processing sets screen and re-enter the processing set that way. "Simplifies Document Review with Powerful AI"
What do you like best about Relativity?

I think their AI system is pretty good and really simple to use. Manual doc review is complicated, but with Relativity, it simplifies things for me. I just need to click two buttons instead of going through my entire files to see if things need to be done. It's really useful because it flags which files need to be reviewed and which don't. The learning platform on Relativity is pretty insightful and offers good training. The initial setup was simple, just logging on and going through some training, which was pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

I don't like that Relativity doesn't exactly eliminate the need for human oversight but that’s not exactly something that can be achieved but it does a great job to the extent that it can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Document Review with Learning Curve"
What do you like best about Relativity?

I like that once you learn how to use Relativity, it's pretty quick and easy. I have been learning and enjoying CAL Review, which saves case teams a lot of time. Relativity makes things pretty streamlined and easy to use. The platform is easy and thorough, and I've learned quite a bit since beginning with my new firm. The initial setup of Relativity is easy when you have a team of dedicated experts to do so. I would highly recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

Well, we had a global outage the other day. That didn't work well for me, but these things happen. And it was resolved fairly quickly. But it did cause a backlog of work, which I'm dealing with today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Leading e-Discovery Platform with User-Friendly Features"
What do you like best about Relativity?

I like Relativity because it is user-friendly when new features are implemented. It's a leading application for e-discovery, especially when compared to other platforms like Everlaw and DISCO. I appreciate that it implements new features such as generative and agentic AI, which make document collection simpler. Relativity's integration with other applications is a plus. I find the remote collection features helpful for data collection from clients, particularly the integration with mobile data collection tools. Relativity Collect is a really useful tool for our midsize firm, and we utilize features like visuals and clustering for presentations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

There is lag in review at times, and it's unclear if it's due to our vendors' servers or the Relativity platform itself. When conducting more detailed searches across different fields, there's sometimes a lag, and the searches will time out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best Data Management & e-Discovery Platform"
What do you like best about Relativity?

Relativity enables us to collaborate efficiently with legal teams and is highly suitable for conducting various corporate risk or compliance investigations. In addition, it greatly enhances our ability to organize data and makes data management more convenient. We can complete data review work more efficiently, and the use of effective keywords allows lawyers, compliance experts, and others to quickly locate facts, clues, or evidence related to the case, saving time, effort, and being very efficient! I particularly value the reporting function of Relativity, which greatly meets the various data usage needs of our users. In addition, various tags can be created during the data review process to record users' work results, and these data can be extracted and exported anytime and anywhere when needed, which is very efficient and practical for lawyers, expert witnesses, etc! Overall, Relativity is a very systematic, comprehensive, and efficient electronic data review platform, data organization platform, and data discovery platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Relativity?

Due to its powerful functionality, the deployment environment is relatively complex, involving comprehensive skills and knowledge in hardware, software, systems, networks, and security. The deployment process is relatively long, and the problems encountered during the deployment process are basically solved by searching for documents in the community on their own! Another issue is that there is no local language support team on the mainland, so when encountering problems, we need support from foreign teams. Staying up late and not being efficient enough!
