**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

What I like best about Relativity is the level of control and scalability it provides as both a review platform and an administrative tool. In my role as a system administrator working across Relativity Server and RelativityOne, features like granular permissions, workspace templating, and automated workflows allow me to standardize environments while still adapting to unique client requirements.

The advanced search functionality—particularly dtSearch and analytics—has been critical in reducing review time and improving accuracy on large, complex datasets. For example, leveraging structured analytics and email threading has significantly cut down on duplicate review effort and helped teams prioritize key communications faster.

From a performance standpoint, RelativityOne’s cloud architecture has made a noticeable difference in speed, accessibility, and scalability compared to on-prem environments, especially when handling high data volumes or supporting distributed review teams. The ability to quickly scale resources without infrastructure overhead has improved turnaround times on tight deadlines.

I also appreciate the ongoing investment in AI and automation, including features like active learning and assisted review, which continue to evolve and provide meaningful efficiency gains. These tools not only accelerate review but also help maintain consistency and defensibility across projects.

Overall, Relativity enables me to build efficient, repeatable workflows that improve both operational performance and the end-user review experience.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

One of the main challenges with Relativity is the complexity that comes with its depth and flexibility. While powerful, the platform can have a steep learning curve for new users, particularly when it comes to administrative functions, workspace configuration, and optimizing workflows.

From an administrative perspective, certain processes—such as large data migrations, index management, or troubleshooting performance issues in Relativity Server—can be time-consuming and require a high level of expertise. Even in RelativityOne, while the infrastructure burden is reduced, there can still be limitations in customization compared to on-prem environments.

Performance can occasionally be inconsistent when working with extremely large datasets or highly complex searches, and some tasks (like mass updates or large productions) can take longer than expected without careful planning and resource allocation.

Additionally, while new AI and automation features are valuable, they can require fine-tuning and user training to fully realize their benefits, which can add to upfront project time.

Overall, while these challenges are manageable, they highlight the importance of experienced administration and thoughtful workflow design to get the most out of the platform.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity is solving the challenge of managing and extracting value from massive volumes of unstructured data in a defensible, efficient way. In my role, it enables us to take in complex datasets and rapidly transform them into structured, searchable, and review-ready workspaces.

From a business standpoint, it directly impacts cost, speed, and accuracy. By leveraging features like analytics, email threading, and active learning, we’re able to reduce document review volumes by 30–60% in many cases, which significantly lowers overall review costs. These tools also help prioritize high-value documents earlier in the workflow, often accelerating review timelines by 25–40%.

Operationally, Relativity allows us to standardize workflows and reuse proven templates, which improves consistency and reduces setup time across matters. In RelativityOne, the ability to scale resources on demand has eliminated infrastructure bottlenecks, enabling faster data processing and supporting global review teams without performance tradeoffs.

Overall, this translates to faster turnaround times, more defensible results, and measurable cost savings for clients, while allowing us to handle increasingly large and complex matters with greater efficiency.

  ### 2. User-Friendly Platform with Strong Security, but Pricey

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pablo T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I think Relativity is a very user-friendly platform. It's easy to get up to speed, although it requires some learning. I appreciate the security in place and the recent developments into Gen AI. Relativity Air, for review and privileged identification, is very valuable for quick case strategy.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I think in general, the pricing is quite expensive compared to other solutions in the market. And I think also probably the learning curve for someone that wants to use the platform as a self-service e-discovery platform. It couldn't work well, you have to also spend a lot of money in the Gen AI solutions that they have recently incorporated. I think in relation to their Gen AI solutions, I can see, for example, competitors using Gen AI across entire datasets and basically getting answers to the questions very quickly about large datasets. This is something I think that the activities team needs to work better. In terms of learning, it is true that there is a lot of learning available. Sometimes, you know, having more support from the team could be very helpful. Relation to the price, I would say a pay-as-you-go model is available in other platforms. Not at the moment, with the current Relativity One subscription. And by the way, when you basically want to use Relativity Air, you need to have already a subscription with your Relativity One.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for handling large and complex datasets, which improves efficiency in review workflows and makes reviews more defensible.

  ### 3. User-friendly and best support team around

  ### 14. Great, big improvement from years ago. Still more to go to be the undisputed though

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Everything works well. No issues for the most part. The AI innovates are great and somewhat functional (e.g. yes we are AA/beta-testers) but at least its workable/useable.

The UI needs to be faster/easier to use though, especially re actual review of documents + aiR Case Strat (esp the latter).

Performance is a huge grip. It needs to be much much much faster. I get it, searching 500k docs takes time, but Nuix is faster! Same with review and coding panels (always having issues)

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The speed + performance. The ocassional bugs are an annoyance too.

Biggest grip is Redact, e.g. Excel for Redact. Whoever created the redaction box needs to actually have used it...
But in short, hard to use. Single line vs actual box. Hard to redact from it.
Please update this (inc. feedback given during Relfest, ty for it btw, great Fest!). Solution is change from line to actual box, make it larger + scrollable etc.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The connection between documents + practical, e.g. evidence etc. Big jump, e..g with aiR for Review actually being useful (vs it original use in early access).
Helps a lot. Benefit is more time for other tasks etc

I really like how Relativity saves so much time compared to our earlier platform. The Collect feature has been a game-changer for us, and the processing speed with automated workflows is impressive. It has reduced our steps from about 10-15 to just a few. Switching to Relativity was a decision made easier by the cost and everything being all baked in one. The initial setup was pretty good, and even though we just went live a couple of weeks ago, I feel confident in its capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I wish Collect could capture deleted but recoverable email items. As well as inactive accounts

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity saves me time compared to our old platform. The Collect feature and faster processing with automated workflows reduce our steps significantly, making it more efficient for internal investigations and legal matters.

  ### 18. Effortless Document Management with Intuitive Interface

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I'd like there to be some improvements in saved searches (being able to copy and paste conditions, being able to easily move searches across workspaces). There are also some aspects of data importing/processing that I have tiny nits with. When I am looking at a list of job exceptions, for example, I'd love for there to be an option to return to the processing set without having to go back to the main processing sets screen and re-enter the processing set that way.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to easily search, filter, analyze, and group documents in litigation, synthesizing facts with Relativity's AI.

  ### 19. Simplifies Document Review with Powerful AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah T. | Founder

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I think their AI system is pretty good and really simple to use. Manual doc review is complicated, but with Relativity, it simplifies things for me. I just need to click two buttons instead of going through my entire files to see if things need to be done. It's really useful because it flags which files need to be reviewed and which don't. The learning platform on Relativity is pretty insightful and offers good training. The initial setup was simple, just logging on and going through some training, which was pretty good.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I don't like that Relativity doesn't exactly eliminate the need for human oversight but that’s not exactly something that can be achieved but it does a great job to the extent that it can.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Relativity simplifies handling massive documents, using AI tools that streamline doc reviews, cutting down manual work. It flags essential files, saving time and reducing costs, driving team efficiency.

  ### 20. Leading e-Discovery Platform with User-Friendly Features

I find the remote collection features helpful for data collection from clients, particularly the integration with mobile data collection tools. Relativity Collect is a really useful tool for our midsize firm, and we utilize features like visuals and clustering for presentations.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There is lag in review at times, and it's unclear if it's due to our vendors' servers or the Relativity platform itself. When conducting more detailed searches across different fields, there's sometimes a lag, and the searches will time out.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity helps with document collection, review, privilege, and confidential identification, and generally organizes documents effectively.

  ### 21. The best Data Management & e-Discovery Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tony W. | Senior Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity enables us to collaborate efficiently with legal teams and is highly suitable for conducting various corporate risk or compliance investigations. In addition, it greatly enhances our ability to organize data and makes data management more convenient. We can complete data review work more efficiently, and the use of effective keywords allows lawyers, compliance experts, and others to quickly locate facts, clues, or evidence related to the case, saving time, effort, and being very efficient! I particularly value the reporting function of Relativity, which greatly meets the various data usage needs of our users. In addition, various tags can be created during the data review process to record users' work results, and these data can be extracted and exported anytime and anywhere when needed, which is very efficient and practical for lawyers, expert witnesses, etc! Overall, Relativity is a very systematic, comprehensive, and efficient electronic data review platform, data organization platform, and data discovery platform.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Due to its powerful functionality, the deployment environment is relatively complex, involving comprehensive skills and knowledge in hardware, software, systems, networks, and security. The deployment process is relatively long, and the problems encountered during the deployment process are basically solved by searching for documents in the community on their own! Another issue is that there is no local language support team on the mainland, so when encountering problems, we need support from foreign teams. Staying up late and not being efficient enough!

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity can help us effectively collaborate with legal teams to participate in various internal investigations of enterprises, including but not limited to asset misappropriation, commercial bribery, due diligence, etc. It facilitates the organization and structuring of data, and can assist us in completing data review and evidence discovery work in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.

  ### 22. Intuitive and Customizable for Legal Document Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan P.

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the ease of use for reviewers in Relativity, as it makes it simple for them to review documents and set up a review queue. Logging in and searching through documents is also really easy. I also appreciate the customizability, where I can change fields and tags to suit different clients.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Permissions at times, and copying data to fields can be a hassle. I can't copy data on all types of fields such as long text. Permissions like deleting workspaces but not all, or installing applications without being a sys admin are also problematic.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity helps manage large document reviews, redact documents, and search through documents.

  ### 23. A Powerful Platform with Room for Smoother Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity’s intuitive interface, powerful search capabilities, and customizable workflows make it a standout platform for document review and case management. The platform’s flexibility allows us to scale projects efficiently, while features like persistent highlighting, analytics, and audit trails greatly enhance review accuracy and transparency.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

While Relativity is feature-rich, its performance can lag with large datasets or complex searches, affecting review efficiency. Initial setup and permissions configuration can also be unintuitive for new users. A more streamlined user experience and faster load times would significantly improve usability.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity streamlines the review and management of large volumes of electronically stored information (ESI), which is critical in eDiscovery. Its advanced search filters, analytics, and tagging capabilities help us quickly identify relevant documents, reducing review time and cost. The ability to customize workflows and track reviewer activity ensures greater accuracy, consistency, and defensibility in litigation support.

  ### 24. Simple Yet Powerful, But Needs Fixes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Convenience, and integration of multiple apps in one.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

We ran into issues and bugs that only surfaced later, and they ended up affecting our workflow. For example, Teams RSMF does not parse out CC/To data, so everything had to be corrected retroactively. There’s also less visibility into the queue in RelOne; tabs like the workers monitoring tab and the hangfire tabs are deprecated, but they were very important for system admins.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity helps with compartmentalization and simplifies production processes with its powerful yet simple-to-use features. The reproduction feature is a game changer in my daily tasks.

  ### 25. Relativity Streamlines Large-Scale Reviews with Powerful Automation and Analytics

I’m definitely using analytics and AIr for sure. Time, it saves me tons of time while using the tools provided efficiently.

  ### 26. User-Friendly Cloud Solution with AI Growth

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franciszek K. | Forensics Intern, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity's user-friendly interface that minimizes the risk of mistakes and the fact that it offers a cloud-based deployment. I also think the AIR for Review is a cool feature that comes with AI growth.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

When I was developing a Relativity application, the developer support wasn't really helpful. The dev forum is a little dead, with very few posts being posted and replied to. There's also a lack of video tutorials on how to develop simple apps. There aren't any integrations to other tools.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity helps us with eDiscovery and Data Analytics by allowing document review, storage, filtering, and handling OCR.

  ### 27. Outstanding Support and Training, But Certification Exams Need Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel I. | eDiscovery Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Relativity has an incredible support team and amazing resources for continued training and learning that makes the product easy to use. Relativity partners with amazing vendors as well who are highly competent in eDiscovery. They are very receptive to my feedback. I am in Relativity approximately 60 percent of my working day. There are numerous features, including the latest one that I am excited to implement: Data Breach Response. It is very easy to use and there are fine integration points with other programs/APIs.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

My only complaint is how poorly the exams for the certifications are handled. It is a third-party called ProProctor/Prometric. They are absolutely horrible, and that should in NO WAY reflect negatively on Relativity, but they might get lumped in by association. They really need a better system. I

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity is cutting down on costs for discovery and speeding up review time. I am really excited about the potential aiR will have for our reviewers.

  ### 28. Revolutionized Our Document Analysis with Customizable Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie Jose G.

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I appreciate using Relativity for analyzing and reviewing documents. It helps reduce review time and makes organizing production easier. I like the ability to use analytics as they are, but mostly to experiment and improve them for the cases I'm working on. The feature to create our own Structure Analytics to fit specific purposes is really beneficial. It's great to have the flexibility to create different analytics to review or compare a subset of documents, which makes it easier for me to send a search or prepare a review queue focused only on what needs to be reviewed.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Nothing specific! I think it's a great tool. Comparing to other that used this one is the perfec.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to analyze documents and prepare productions, reducing review time and simplifying organization. I like creating custom Structure Analytics for targeted reviews, which makes preparing review queues easier and more efficient.

  ### 29. Defensible and AI-powered tool that is gold standard for corporate investigations.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The user interface is not as easy to navigate and appealing as other providers, like Intella and Brainspace. The whole interface feels like it needs modernizing with more graphics.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity provides a defensible and AI-ready eReview solution for investigations, and Relativity aiR for Review speeds up identifying relevant findings.

  ### 30. Intuitive and Reliable E-Discovery Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark Z. | eDiscovery Contract Attorney

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity because it's very intuitive. You don't have to be very tech savvy to use it. In fact, you can be not tech savvy and use it very successfully. The initial setup was a piece of cake.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The only issue I've ever had with Relativity is that you cannot always do your own QC work on a batch of documents you reviewed. It's not always easy to check the various metrics you're working with, like if a responsive call was made, if a privileged call was made, or if an issue call was made.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity is nice because it's been the primary e-discovery review platform for at least fifteen years. Once I learned it for one review, I could use it for any review. It becomes easier to use over time.

  ### 31. Effortlessly Navigable with Superior Data Search

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zaynah A.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the ease of using Relativity. Even though I don't use it much, when I do, it's easy to navigate. I've heard from others that Relativity is better than other software when trying to search through data sets. It's easier to find what you're looking for versus other software. Also, the initial setup was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I don't have many cons about Relativity, as I don't use it much as of right now. But I will say if it had a dark mode, I think it would be easier on the eyes. There may be a way to already change this and I just don't know.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Relativity makes searching through data sets easier compared to other software. It's also easy to navigate when I use it.

  ### 32. Accelerates Legal Document Review Efficiently

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lise-Mari L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I use Relativity for ediscovery legal matters and it makes document review faster with its streamlining abilities, leading to time saving. I like the useful user interface and use the review center most often to cut down review time. The CAL feature is also great for validating documents and culling unnecessary unresponsive documentation. We've always used Relativity, and I find that its features make reviewing much faster. The initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I think searches could be simpler to understand and have an inbuilt clustering feature.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for e-discovery legal matters. It makes document review faster with its streamlining abilities and ensures more accurate data analysis, which saves time. I often use the review center and CAL to cut down review time and manage documentation effectively.

  ### 33. Powerful for eDiscovery, but Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I find Relativity to be a seamless review platform that makes case administration fairly easy. I like that many teams in the legal tech sector are already familiar with it. The searching and structural analytics features are very powerful, which helps reduce the effort on determining which documents are meant for review.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Many of the newly added interesting features are exclusive to Relativity One, making it feel like the company treats its Server users as second-class citizens. Also, the initial setup was quite tricky, as the documentation had quite a few gaps at the time.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity is a seamless review platform that simplifies case administration and reduces the effort needed to determine which documents need reviewing. Its powerful searching and structural analytics features are highly valuable.

  ### 34. Powerful E-Discovery with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity for its ability to help me identify potentially relevant materials by keyword searches and the use of AI and analytics. The feature I like most about Relativity is the case strategy tool. I like being able to visually see my documents and the relevant facts in a timeline, which allows me to strategize easier.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Relativity reproductions could be improved. The transcripts application needs improvement. Ease of use for basic users could be better. If you do not use Relativity every day, it's not the easiest program to learn, compared to some of the other e-discovery programs. Relativity seems to be built for more tech-based people.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for e-discovery document review, helping me identify potentially relevant materials with keyword searches, AI, and analytics. The case strategy tool lets me see documents and facts in a timeline, making it easier to strategize.

**Reviewed by:** Manuel A. | Practice Technology Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like being able to customize my experience with internal resources. Support is top-notch.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Management often seems to forget long-time customers and tends to treat us more like numbers than people after a awhile.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest strength is its workflows. Relativity is constantly thinking about and implementing workflows that benefit all users, not just the top consulting firms.

  ### 36. Customizable Document Management, Needs Better Search

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayne W.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the options to customize tags in Relativity which allow me to organize documents exactly how I want. It organizes all the documents for me and keeps track of how I've tagged them so I can see which documents are relevant to a case and more specifically which issues they are relevant to. It also lets me label documents as privileged or not.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I find it difficult to search for documents that I have already reviewed. I think there should be a section where you can see who has reviewed a document and sort by that section.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity organizes all my documents, tracks my tags to show relevance, and allows privilege labeling, aiding in litigation preparation.

  ### 37. Powerful eDiscovery with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the powerful, granular level of filtering metadata and review coding in Relativity, which really enhances my eDiscovery support tasks. The saved searches feature is useful to me as it allows sharing search results and reporting efficiently. I also appreciate the user interface of Relativity; it's intuitive and supports my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Some functions have design flaws. Using a workspace as a template doesn't allow a template folder structure to be set and carried over to newly created workspaces. The Import/Export tool doesn't show the load file that was used in the history of completed import jobs. Neither the location nor the file name is shown, which is needed for troubleshooting.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for searching, filtering, collaborative review, reporting, and AI review.

  ### 38. Efficient Email Management with Helpful UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANMOL B.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I find the user interface of Relativity very helpful. I also like the fact that I can easily communicate with the team handling the redactions, which makes intra-team communications easier.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Sometimes the intercommunication loads too much granular detail. I want an option to decide the level of granularity required in terms of organization and communication. It's tough when I have 20 options thrown at me, especially as a newcomer in our team. I prefer having limited options.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for managing data subject access requests, helping in filtering relevant information and deciding on redactions. It's like finding needles in a haystack, sorting through thousands of emails to find relevant ones for me.

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I appreciate Relativity's customization capabilities, including through SQL scripts and configurable security features. As a system administrator, these functionalities enable me to tailor the platform to fit individual use cases effectively, ensuring that each client receives a unique and personalized experience that aligns with their specific business or review requirements. The ability to provide such a bespoke service stands out as a significant advantage and makes managing complex tasks more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I sometimes find there are too many options on the screen in Relativity, such as multiple panels like searching conditions, saved searches, document previews, and document lists. This can be overwhelming or get in the way, especially for newer, less experienced users. It would be beneficial to have personal settings that allow system administrators to configure and hide some of these options.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to manage vast volumes of data, ensuring data traceability and faster reviews, enhancing document reviews and investigations.

  ### 41. User-Friendly with Powerful Customization

I have been using Relativity for 2.5 years, and one of the things I really appreciate is how user-friendly it is. Its intuitive design makes onboarding new users a breeze, and I find the aesthetic interface to be quite appealing. The platform's intuitiveness means that it makes immediate sense, which is essential in a fast-paced environment like a law firm. The customization capabilities of Relativity stand out significantly, allowing us to tailor the software to fit each unique case or matter, which is incredibly beneficial given that no two cases are the same. Its ability to handle large-scale document reviews efficiently and highlight important aspects of a dataset is vital for our operations. These features not only streamline our processes but also enhance our overall productivity, making Relativity an invaluable tool in our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I dislike that you can't see how many of the document IDs that you have searched for are in the workspace and those that weren't found. When searching for a set of IDs, you should receive a popup giving you a breakdown of those found and those not found in the workspace.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity to enhance large-scale document review efficiency and customize datasets for unique legal cases, making onboarding easy due to its user-friendly and intuitive nature.

  ### 42. Intuitive eDiscovery Workhorse with Constantly Improving Workflows

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

It's our main tool for eDiscovery, so we use it in a daily basis. It's very intuitive, and and the team behind Relativity does a good job of creating new tools and workflows for outstanding problems.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

There are still some visualization features, particularly as it relates to exporting data for demonstratives, that we have and continue to struggle with.

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like Relativity for its advanced functionality, which really helps with eDiscovery project management. It's also easy to use, making it straightforward to meet litigation deadlines. The initial setup was easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The documentation could be improved by presenting more popular scenarios.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for eDiscovery project management to meet litigation deadlines, and I appreciate its advanced functionality and ease of use.

  ### 44. Efficient, Comprehensive Solution with Trust and Thought Leadership

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicholas W.

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I have been using Relativity since 2012 for a wide range of cases, including antitrust litigation, foreign corrupt practices, e-discovery, FOIA, privacy, and government investigations. I find Relativity to be the most efficient and accurate e-discovery platform I have used. Despite having experience with multiple e-discovery platforms throughout my career, Relativity stands out as the most comprehensive. The platform is somewhat intuitive from initial sign-on to creating review batches, managing productions, applying redactions, and using links to produce documents. The ability to expedite the collection, review, and production process is invaluable, especially in reducing the cost and overhead of using e-discovery tools. Furthermore, the continuous updates of Relativity keep the solution in line with the fast-moving generative AI developments. I am also impressed by the thought leadership within the Relativity team, individuals like David Oregon and Jonathan Hill help foster a sense of trust in AI, making the solution more reliable compared to others that sometimes come off as dubious. Relativity’s strong community and reliable support from experts, engineers, and coders add significant value to my experience.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I think one of the biggest challenges right now with Relativity is its pricing model. For state and local organizations, as well as other law firms that are not in the top 100, it remains somewhat expensive and unapproachable. This makes it difficult for smaller entities to access its benefits, which I believe is a hurdle. However, once this cost barrier is overcome, there is substantial opportunity given how easy, efficient, and feature-rich Relativity is.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Relativity maximizes our efficiency, supporting diverse legal cases with intuitive features that streamline case assessment, data analysis, and production while reducing costs and overhead.

  ### 46. Structured Analytics Enhance Document Review, Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony V.

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I like the structured analytics in Relativity, especially how it can affect a review by identifying email threads and using the communication analysis widget to pinpoint textual near duplicates. These tools help my case teams understand the data and review documents effectively in a streamlined fashion.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Integrations with transcripts and chronologies are lacking and cumbersome. I'd like to see an AI offering that marries the review/production documents with deposition transcripts and case chronologies. I have to buy off-the-shelf deposition and chronology tools to satisfy that need.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Relativity streamlines document review, production, and organization, helping my case teams understand data and review documents effectively.

  ### 47. Reliable, Predictable Technology with a Great Reviewer and Admin Experience

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jude C. | Legal Revjew Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

Useful technology. Reliable and predictable. Good user experience for reviewers and admin.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

The training materials, while detailed are challenging to navigate. I find it odd, in a competitive market, that there are fees to take exams.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for large scale document review, including CAL functionality. It is solving the problem of limited human resource, but a high volume of documents.

  ### 48. Relativity: Speedy Document Retrieval, Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chantelle J.

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I have been using Relativity for about ten years for investigations and disclosure exercises, and I am delighted with how its performance has significantly improved over time. Initially, it was quite slow, but now it retrieves potentially relevant documents quicker than ever before, which is incredibly beneficial for my workflow. My recent experience setting up Relativity has been very smooth, which was a welcome change. The presence of good customer success managers, who are informative and helpful, adds tremendous value. Additionally, the introduction of features like Air for review is a game-changer; it helps to save weeks of time that we would have spent manually reviewing documents. I rate the platform a solid 10 out of 10 for all these benefits, making it a must-recommend product.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I would like to see faster improvements based on user feedback. Although Relativity does eventually update the tool to include requested features, the process takes several weeks. Faster implementation of small feature requests, such as those related to Relativity contracts, would significantly enhance the user experience.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Relativity solves document retrieval problems, significantly speeding up finding relevant documents, and its features save weeks in manual review time.

  ### 49. Improved Usability, but Still Some Clunkiness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy F. | Research Assistant

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I really value the features of Relativity that allow me to tag and sort different documents, which significantly aid in understanding the importance, origin, and destination of these documents. This functionality helps me mentally grasp the case flow and discern what actually occurred, enhancing my comprehension of the cases I work on. Moreover, the capabilities for mapping and searching documents to identify correlations and determine who was working on similar tasks concurrently prove to be quite useful in my work. Additionally, I have grown comfortable with Relativity, especially appreciating the different training sessions that are available, which make it very user-friendly. This comfort level and user-friendliness are major reasons why I would choose Relativity again over other software. My growing familiarity with Relativity and its encompassing features make it a preferred choice for my needs.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

I find the setup process for Relativity to be a bit clunky and boxy, experiencing lag and spinning, which disrupted workflow and required downtime, like taking breaks to play ping pong. The interface can be a bit chunky, necessitating the use of additional tools like Chech GPT to synthesize information effectively. Furthermore, the presence of three different search bars in the workspace appears unnecessary and confusing, complicating the task of searching through documents and data. There is also lingering clunkiness in the system that I think still needs to be addressed.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Relativity for reviewing documents in criminal cases, allowing me to tag, sort, map, and search documents efficiently, which aids in understanding case flow and prevents wrongful incarceration.

  ### 50. Enjoy working with RelativityOne

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Relativity?**

I really like the fact that we don't need to worry about infrastructure and all the headaches and costs that go along with that. I also like that there are updates almost weekly and testing new features is fun.

**What do you dislike about Relativity?**

Because we aren't true system administrators, we can't control the environment. Sometimes it takes awhile for jobs to be picked up and there isn't much you can do besides wait. While Support does respond within SLAs, they often need to escalate internally before a true solution is found.

**Recommendations to others considering Relativity:**

If you are thinking about getting Relativity in-house, consider hiring an experienced administrator to make the process go smoother.

**What problems is Relativity solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I know when RelativityOne first came out, vendors were worried. However, working with a vendor that primarily uses RelativityOne has opened my eyes. There is so much we can offer alongside Relativity and it's a good relationship. One thing to note is that due to costs, it's hard to compete against OnPrem/Server vendors when bidding on new projects.
