# How do Pipedrive users connect LinkedIn Ads data when there is no native integration?

Teams connecting LinkedIn Ads to Pipedrive generally describe going through a third-party connector, a lead gen form sync tool, or the API where there is developer time, rather than connecting the two directly. The marketplace itself is large and covers most of what sits close to the sales motion, email, calendar, calling, proposals and accounting.

Where the marketplace is strong is everything a rep touches daily: email, calendar, calling, proposals, e-signature and accounting all have well-maintained native connections. For a team whose stack is sales tools rather than marketing tools, that coverage is deep enough that the LinkedIn gap is the only one they meet.

Across the CRM category this is a common pattern rather than something unusual, with paid media generally handled through connectors rather than natively in anything below enterprise pricing.

Where I would value real experience is the maintenance question rather than the setup one. Connectors are usually straightforward to wire up and less straightforward to keep working through API changes on either side.

Specifically:

Which route you chose, and whether it has needed attention since

Whether lead quality and campaign fields survive the hop intact

Whether the connector broke after an API change on either side

How you attribute a closed deal back to the campaign once it is in the pipeline

And a broader one. Is getting ad data into the CRM actually the right goal, or do most teams end up doing attribution somewhere else entirely and leaving Pipedrive to manage the pipeline?

On the broader question, we landed on keeping attribution elsewhere and letting Pipedrive run the pipeline. It does that part really well, so it felt simpler not to force everything into one place.
