It's overall easy to manage, and the device-based biometrics work well from what I've experienced. We have a custom portal that links into the HYPR API, which provides easy management access to our internal staff. I believe that the initial setup is straightforward after creating a new image for our specific setup requirements but I would say the ease of setup depends on what systems you are integrating it with specificaly. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** The logging against the platform, specifically error logging, could be improved. In our deployment, we see a huge amount of error messages often, most of which do not actually require any intervention. It's not possible to stop them at a log level either from some of these specific errors which can make it difficult to sort through the logs when required. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** HYPR allows us to support device-based biometric logins without developing our own system, saving time and effort. It's easy to manage, and the device-based biometrics work well. ### 2. I hardly ever need to reach out to support because the platform is so reliable, and since we began using it, we've never experienced a service outage. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** Everyone always complains about the length of their security timeout being too short, but this isn't HYPR's fault, they're simply the face for our workforce. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** HYPR serves as our MFA provider for access to workstations, securing all downstream activity. It reduces the need to manage password resets, and provides robust solutions for anything that might impact a user's ability to access a workstation. ### 6. It was quick and easy to set up for our Okta users, and I appreciate that we can configure it to allow users to log in once at the workstation level, then seamlessly access our SSO without needing additional authentication. The support for Linux and various other setups has been a big plus, as it accommodates some of our unique environment needs. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** One area that could be improved is the error messaging. Occasionally, users encounter generic timeout messages, which can be unclear on the root cause. We’ve raised this with HYPR’s support, and they have been responsive, actively working to enhance error transparency over time. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** HYPR is helping our company solve the challenge of enforcing passwordless auth across our environment. Now, users no longer need to remember passwords or waste time calling the help desk for password resets. The user login process is streamlined and integrates easily with our SSO. ### 8. It's setting the trend for other companies to try and emulate while being a pioneer and leading the pack. The best part of Hypr is that it does exactly what it's supposed to. We've been using Hypr on our network for around 3 years now and have never looked back. It offers security and ease of use for our end users. We have access to metrics such as, frequency of use and other aspects which give us full transparency into the app. When we've had to reach out to customer support the response has been excellent, and efficient. We've had very little issues but on the odd ocassion we've reached out and found a resolution right away - great product, and team! **What do you dislike about HYPR?** I can genuinely say that there isn't anything i dislike about Hypr. It works well for our users and we've got no dislikes. The product integrates well with our network and users love the product. 10/10. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use hypr for passwordless authentication on our network. It offers security but also allows us to move our users into the future so we don't have to remember cumbersome, hackable passwords. We looked at other products when reviewing Hypr and can safely say we made the correct decision. It's easy to use, set up and integrate with our network. Security is paramount and Hypr allowed us to complete our cyber security assement bringing down our premium and securing our users in the process. ### 9. I like the additional step of Security. The Support is doing an unbelievable great Jobs. Starting from the implementation to configuring, changing the firewall and even misconfiguration on our site. So, we don't use the full possibility of Hypr, but the things we use are a daily gamechanger. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** I would like to have a possibility to login via RDP through the VPN tunnel from a non-domain computer with an account which I can't manage. That's not possible - right now. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Bringing more Security, especially in Firewall and VPN connections ### 10. Integration is seamless, just scan the QR and you are ready to use your configured apps on Okta without any hassle of repeating or remembering your passcode. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** The setup process at times is really tricky and takes too long. Manual method is also something which misses at times in getting account to configure. Most problematic issue is if device gets lost which has been configured, on your new device you need to follow the entire process of setup again. You cannot use email and password to resetup again **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** Hypr has been a charm in terms of accessing any application using 2FA can be integrated and logged in like in no time. Workday being the primary app just logs in second no hassle to tangle between apps to authenticate and then login. ### 11. My end users love using HYPR to login to their computers. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** sometimes the app seems to loose connectivity to the computer and we have to delete the pairing. Once we pair the phone again, everything works as it should. It's very rare but it does happen on occasion. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** HYPR allows me to lock down my computers to only use secure logins by HYPR. This assures me when we audit our network, that a active login is actually the person who owns the account. ### 12. Issue with getting PRT token using federated domain, so users have to manually sign into Edge/OneDrive. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have to have MFA for our Windows PC for compliance purposes. Users have one app for all their MFA. Integrates with all of our tools using SAML. We deployed HYPR Authenticate. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** From the support perspective it's clear that complex enterprise environments aren't something that the team has familiarity with. Typically, adding MFA/2FA means more steps to login. But with HYPR, it's actually very fast, probably faster than just a password even. **What do you dislike about HYPR?** We've seen a few situations with error messages when signing in. Usually, they're resolved by repairing. Also, some workgroup computers are having issues with the Windows Credential Manager, which breaks chrome/outlook passwords for some of our staff. **Recommendations to others considering HYPR:** If your staff typically resists new security implementations, this is a good solution that doesn't place more of a burden on employees. **What problems is HYPR solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to beef up our credential security.
