I dislike certain areas of the dashboard taking too long to locate. I also dislike the process of creating reports being too many clicks away. The fact that some design elements seem set (even though there are options) really bothers me. A small annoyance however it isn’t something I will go crazy over. I wish Hootsuite provided more reporting capabilities, especially for paid activities and TikTok engagement, like comments. But I understand these are often limited by the APIs available from partner platforms, not Hootsuite itself. It would also be beneficial if the level of media monitoring was enhanced within the package we have, as that feature seems somewhat limited for us right now. I think one area where Hootsuite could be improved is making it easier for beginners, especially for those who may not have a lot of prior information. How all my social networks can be viewed at a glance and posted to with relative ease. I very much appreciate the ability to develop a post and then refine it for each platform respectively. The Inbox 2.0 is by far my most used feature and it makes responding to mentions, comments, and messages a breeze!

The backend for managing teams and members feels a bit outdated. Granting permissions to individuals has been a little bit of a headache at times where there is a bit of vagueness regarding how and which features we're giving permission for.

I have had struggles with the performance of the listening feature as far as narrowing results through booleans. Multiple times I have excluded a keyword or phrase only to see it appear in my results. That could likely be a user-error issue rather than a platform issue.

I think that Hootsuite is missing a couple of opportunities and functions that these social platforms have natively, like posting both a photo and a video together on Facebook or adding platform audios on TikTok. Each social platform has a couple of unique helpful features that aren't integrated yet into Hootsuite. It would be beneficial if we were able to post both a photo and a video together in one post on Hootsuite, but this isn't a capability yet despite it being a function on both Facebook and X. I've been using Hootsuite for coming up to 6 years now. The core platform itself is user-friendly and intuitive, and good value for money.

I like the Hootsuite brand, its content, and what it stands for. If I reach out to a customer success rep, I can usually expect a pretty prompt response.

I am excited about new developments that Hootsuite is working on such as AI-generated content suggestions and improvements via OwlyWriter AI.

Some of Hootsuite's added value features, aside from the core functionality, have been a bit clunky. We trialed the employee advocacy bolt-on, as well as the social listening, and weren't massively impressed with either of those.

Little things are annoying like when you've paid to have a verified Twitter account and thus are allowed an extended character count, but when scheduling through Hootsuite, this isn't allowed.

I am so far down in my couch i think i might be able to grow roots, but i still needed to finish this. Hootsuite keeps all of our social media platforms in one place. It saves me from logging into each of the 5 apps daily. The posting tool works as expected. I am happy that it did not crash while i was creating the batch of posts for the week. The monthly view with the calendar is very frustrating. In the monthly calendar view you can only see the little platform logos (i.e. Twitter logo) instead of the actual picture or text that will appear in your post. Occasionally when the site lags, some of the text disappears without warning and i cannot click an "undo" button to recover it, which causes me extreme frustration.
