Also allows for marking in abcenses to communicate to the caregiver in one place. **What do you dislike about Lillio (formerly HiMama)?** The only thing that was a bit frustrating with HiMama was each time you log out you have to enter your log in information again. It owuld be nice if you could select an option tokeep yourself logged in. **What problems is Lillio (formerly HiMama) solving and how is that benefiting you?** HiMama allows for easy communication with my child's caregiver and this is invaluable. Over all the time we have been using it there has never been a complication with communicating with them. ### 2. Communication with my kids Teacher is very simple and available for me through the messages section! Their teacher sends me photos and descriptions of the days activities. Receiving reminders of school closings through the messages. Yes I benefit because I can be informed of what my child is doing what they learn. Even the most technologically hesitant people use the app with ease. On our annual surveys, "communication" has become less of an issue and I thank HiMama for that. We have added staffing and billing to our account, and both have helped us run our center more efficiently. The HiMama staff are some of the nicest people I've worked with! It feels like a partnership. **What do you dislike about Lillio (formerly HiMama)?** I would love to see the child profiles become more customizable and easier to navigate. When we have a new family, the child's information is listed in one single column as "special instructions" and it can be hard to find the thing we need when the moment arrives. Having clear categories for contact, medical, feeding/eating, diapering, safety, and maybe a general "about me" section would be amazing. **Recommendations to others considering Lillio (formerly HiMama):** Joining the HiMama community was one of the best decisions that we have made for our business. If you want an app that is easy to use, with amazing customer service, you should consider HiMama! **What problems is Lillio (formerly HiMama) solving and how is that benefiting you?** We joined HiMama in 2017, and before that, we were making 100+ copies a week for paper report cards. We were required to write two copies of each card, one that stayed here and one that went home. That was a lot of work for the teachers and a lot of paper & ink! Not to mention the frustration of finding report cards laying around the building and even outside on the ground. When we joined HiMama, the report cards became more detailed and it started showing parents how we are teachers and not babysitters. By being able to connect our state's early learning foundations to the activities, families could see that what we were doing during the day was teaching their children important skills needed for kindergarten. The app professionally connects families and teachers. I didn't like teachers privately texting with parents, it was causing a lot of issues and misunderstandings. With the app, families and teachers can connect, and messages are saved to be referenced later, when necessary. I can monitor the conversations, and offer my help to a teacher who feels overwhelmed. ### 5. Send per child or per family. We get every notification in duplicate. **What problems is Lillio (formerly HiMama) solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's easy to communicate (ex: when a child is sick and will not be attending that day). Texts are received by all staff not just whoever mans the phone. Response is quicker as whoever sees first can handle. I do wish there were a way to send a note on behalf of both children though when more than one attends. ### 6. It's been the best communication tool I've used so far with our daycare experience - and even compared to the school district. Parents need a streamlined communication tool - communication that is coming from one reliable source, and this gets the job done - plus more (menu, daily updates, photos, videos, health screens, ways to contact the teacher and/or director, etc.) **What problems is Lillio (formerly HiMama) solving and how is that benefiting you?** The daycare pick up lines can be long, so checking out in the app saves me time. I love the communication :). I would highly recommend this to others considering HiMama. I also love that you can comment on both photos and videos. The schedule is nice, but I do wish you could see food and sleep updates before the EOD report. Messaging feature is easy, and I love how it is in the app and also goes to my email. Easy to view posts for both my kiddos without having to switch feeds, which is nice! It's great to see what they're up to and receive photo updates as well. **What do you dislike about Lillio (formerly HiMama)?** There's not much I dislike but if I had to pick something, it would probably be the name of the app itself. HiMama sounds a little silly and is also not very inclusive of dads, who also are big users of the service. **What problems is Lillio (formerly HiMama) solving and how is that benefiting you?** During the pandemic, we have had limited access to the daycare and have very minimal face-to-face interactions with the staff.
