What do you like best about Help Kit?

I like how Help Kit is easy to set up. It's convenient that it's based on Notion, eliminating the need to learn new software, which is a huge benefit for me since I already use Notion extensively. I manage all content of Franchise Frameworks on Notion, so being able to integrate Help Kit seamlessly into what I'm already familiar with and using is a significant advantage. I also appreciate the available templates, which simplify the process as you just need to edit them, and if there are any doubts, an AI chatbot is available to answer questions, making the setup process very straightforward. Additionally, the responsiveness of the support is impressive. What do you like best about Help Kit?

Everything is working smoothly and unbelievably fast. I’m honestly amazed knowing it’s all 1 dev work behind the scenes. Clearly an incredible developer. The whole setup is beautiful, elegant, and lightning fast.

Before HelpKit, we actually tried SuperSo, Potion, and a few other Notion-based tools.. but they don’t even come close. Not in speed, not in structure, and definitely not in the kind of polished, ready-to-go templates you’ve built in. This kind of structure is just on another level.

What do you dislike about Help Kit?

What do you like best about Help Kit?

Our company was hindered by a difficult to manage, clunky, and overall problematic help center that we hosted in Salesforce. Anytime edits needed to be made, or new support articles needed to be published, it involved way too many people and steps and was a chore. We wanted a solution that would allow us to manage out help center quickly and with ease, and that is exactly what HelpKit does.

As an organization we already utilized Notion for our internal documentation and comms. HelpKit was easy add on to help us build a wonderful help center within our Notion. Now we can make edits in seconds, push new articles, and can manage it seamlessly.

The HelpKit setup was rather easy. I followed their YouTube video and within 30 minutes (depending on how fast your DNS syncs) was able to have a new help center online. It really did exceed my expectations.

Within the HelpKit dashboard there are some great customization items. Upload your company logo, change colors, fonts, make some links in your header and footer. Overall it give you all of the stuff you need, and none of the fluff that you don't.

What do you like best about Help Kit?

I use Notion for literally everything, and I was looking for a flexible knowledge base software that had Notion-like qualities. Then, I found HelpKit, which literally uses Notion itself as the editor for your articles. I tried it out immediately and it didn't disappoint.

It's been such a game changer for our whole team to be able to edit/add articles directly from Notion. We wrote 10 articles and had the knowledge base up and running in less than 2 hours.

What do you dislike about Help Kit?

When I renamed a collection, it broke the existing link to the article. I had to quickly revert it since our production app was linking to the article. What do you like best about Help Kit?

For a few years I've been managing some of my projects inside Notion. Eventually one project took off and turned into a full paid product. And I desperately needed a help center to put my FAQ, tutorials and guides on how to use all functionalities of my product.

After a quick search I landed on Help Kit and never looked back. I can edit everything in the editor I'm used to (Notion) and it magically gets turned into a full fledged help center. There is almost nothing I had to do after initial configuration, just write/edit articles whenever it's needed.

Oh and about customer service, it's crazy fast (which I really care about because I don't have lots of spare time and just want to get things done). I had a few questions when configuring regarding SEO and having the help center on a subdomain, and the founder himself answered within a couple of hours with very comprehensive answers. What do you dislike about Help Kit?

There are two options for the layout and luckily one of them was a perfect fit for me, but it's best to check before writing lots of articles, if it's a good fit. You can choose in the onboarding after signing up so you'll know quickly if it is a good fit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Help Kit?

We were convinced even before the end of our trial that Help Kit was worth the price. It was simply the quickest and most straightforward way to uplevel our support documentation. Some things we like about it:

Help Kit integrates with tools we're already using, like Notion (and now Front).

Clear and easy onboarding—a provided template—to get up and running.

Thanks to support of Notion's synced blocks, we didn't have to have different versions of our docs in different places.

The end result is beautiful, well-organized documentation.

The Help Kit AI is exactly the sort of feature we were looking for—able to interpret the essence of questions already answered in our docs, and provide accurate responses.

What do you dislike about Help Kit?

This is where I'd typically be tempted to nitpick, but there's really nothing to dislike right now! I see some opportunities, such as a even more granular customization, but that's small potatoes. What do you like best about Help Kit?

It's so easy to structure your support site, create content, collaborate with your team, and publish.

The resulting site is just beautiful and SUPER fast.

AND there's a widget that works perfectly, so my app itself has onboard support.

THEN there's AI. If you want to give your users AI on your knowledgebase, bingo, it couldn't be easier and it's so effective.

Look, I'm a cheap, solo founder doing all the product, tech, support, sales, and marketing. I've tried Wordpress plugins and some other solutions. Helpkit makes the support side so much easier. I basically don't get any support tickets!

What do you like best about Help Kit?

I was able to get our entire help website for our company up and running using Help Kit really quickly.

The video tutorials and simple instructions and dashboard made it a snap.

Obviously using notion to write articles is the most optimal way in my opinion and these guys have handed it to us on a silver platter

I did have some custom requests and the team led by Dominik and recorded how they did it 🙂
