Their product was exactly what we needed. **What do you dislike about GTxcel?** Unfortunately, as time marched forward and technology in the space evolved quickly, GTxcel failed to keep up and their product fell behind other competitors. Eventually we decided to move our publication to a more responsive, easier-to-manage platform. **What problems is GTxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?** Reaching our subscribers with a digital version of our highly sought after print magazine. ### 3. GTxcel is pretty good (not great) **Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2018 **What do you like best about GTxcel?** Simple to use and setup, and their support team is extremely attentive when aid is required. **What do you dislike about GTxcel?** Poor usability, and poor reporting admin utility **Recommendations to others considering GTxcel:** Check out tools with better reporting suite and has modern UI, the experience is not as fluid as some competitors **What problems is GTxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?** GTxcel provides a 'digital magazine' experience for our audience that prefer a 'page turning' application vs a standard website. ### 4. When we let them know we were discontinuing our contract they were eager to show us upcoming improvements. **What do you dislike about GTxcel?** Most of our problems were generated by GTxcel. They appear to outsource the work but not check it. They disowned responsibility and in many cases said that the limits of their service could not be addressed. They talked a lot about improvements in the works, We felt they cared mainly about taking our money and not about service or making us satisfied. We were locked into a 2-year contract that we soon regretted, and we counted down the months and days until we could be free. When we said we were not renewing our contract they responded with a punitive measure, requiring us to pay a large fee to keep our content hosted by them. We left anyway. Last, when I wrote to the CEO of the company with detailed complaints he didn't bother to respond. We have moved on and are now very happy with our new team. **Recommendations to others considering GTxcel:** Spare yourself and don't do it. **What problems is GTxcel solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our involvement with GTxcel was entirely a mistake. The referral we had received from them was with a reputable company, but that had not been doing business with them for very long.
