**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

I like that GoTo Webinar is very easy to set up, which simplifies our process of hosting webinars to build our clientele. I appreciate how easy it is to track registrants and attendees, and the ability to customize the messaging and questions on the forms is really useful. It's valuable for us to see who attends our webinars so we can do further marketing to them. I also think GoTo Webinar serves our purposes much better compared to Zoom, which our CEO did not have a good experience with.

It would be nice if it could send SMS reminders as well as emails.

I use GoTo Webinar to host webinars, manage reminders, and follow-ups. It's easy to set up and customize, helping us track registrants and attendees, allowing for targeted marketing.

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

I like that GoTo Webinar is straightforward to use and offers an intuitive setup. It effectively manages all registration and email reminders, allowing for autonomous hosting of webinars.

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

BILLING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE  If you want a monthly plan, it is called 'self service.' We got an error every time we tried to pay for a monthly plan. When i called customer service they said they only help clients with making 12 month contracts - they could not help me with my attempt at purchasing a monthly plan after my trial. Given that my trial ended and i had my webinar due a few days later they pushed me to pay for a 12 month plan because they 'did not know' when someone would get back to us regarding fixing the self service monthly payment portal.   I am not sure whether this was a genuine mistake or by design - customer service could fix all my problems if i was an annual customer, and do nothing if i was a monthly customer. On top of this, I am now unable to CANCEL my plan, I get another error message, so I will have to call GoTo AGAIN to try and fix this.  TECHNICAL ISSUES  We also experienced technical issues - emails from GoTo saying that my trial was ending (the day before webinar) when I actually had an active plan. Their tech support got back to us to say that we had several GoTo accounts under the same email...  OVERALL EVALUATION  Our webinar was a success, but the amount of last minute stress GoTo caused through their unhelpful customer service and technical issues is enough to make me think twice about every using them again.

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

Backend is easy to manage webinars for organizers. Pulling reports is fairly simple

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

GoToWebinar is the most basic webinar tool that offers nothing more than any other tool. Customer support is impossible to reach and is completely outsourced. When you do get a hold of them, they are never any help. 
Example of this: None of my speakers had the option to turn on their webcam. I had no idea why and submitted a support ticket. They had to escalate the ticket 3 times until I realized it was an option the account administrator had to turn on, so I had to solve my own ticket. When trying to upgrade a license, it took two weeks to hear back. 

I am at a point where I anticipate that at least one of my speakers will run into an issue that is no fault of their own. Most recently, their microphones will not work. The microphone will be listed, but nothing will come out. Other times they can't view the screenshare, or they have trouble joining at all. 

I have had several registrants tell me they will not attend a webinar of ours until we switch our platform, since it gave them so much trouble. 
We have several webinars a week, meaning this platform has issues constantly.

The virtual backgrounds do not work most of the time, as it has poor human detection and will sometimes cover up the individual.

It is our primary external marketing webinar tool and is to broadcast webinars and collect data.

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

The biggest upside for using GoTo Webinar is the lack of issues our audiences run into when joining and/or attending our events.  It's easy to use and doesn't require that anyone downloads an application to enter meetings/webinars.  With other platforms, folks are instructed to download a program which may not be an acceptable method of participating in e-learning when they have strict firewalls or internet policies at their workplaces.  Additionally, other platforms constantly run into compatibility issues when they do allow for access via browser, when browsers are updated.

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

There aren't as many integrations as other platforms, but I think that may be what makes it consistently work!  For instance, you can't embed streams on your website or video sharing platforms without third-party solutions, whereas you can easily achieve that with others.  The stability is a tradeoff for sure though.

**What problems is GoTo Webinar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run professional education webinars and lead-gen programs using GoTo webinar.  Using this platform for that purpose is beneficial for us because setup and execution are a breeze for ourselves as well as our audiences.

There are many features that are fun to use and very helpful when using this application: 
Easy to send invitation, send reminders right up to the hour before start time
Switch presenters
Record presentations - that can be later referenced 
Poll the audience
Audience can submit questions during the presentation 
Export participant attendance 

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

I haven't found anything that I dislike. I have used this platform a number of times and am still finding new features all the time.  Iniitailly thougt that all participants needed to be muted but found out that this feature can be unmuted allowing for a group discussion. Recommended only if there is a small audience.

Take your time to learn of the many features it has to offer.

GoToWebinar is used quarterly to inform our teams of new product launches, events etc.

Very easy to join and navigate
Even as a first-time user, I joined the webinar without any setup headaches. The interface was clean, intuitive, and didn’t require extra downloads or confusing steps.

As a guest speaker, I couldn’t personalize my display name or background as much as I wanted. It would be great if guests could have more customization options

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

GoTo Webinar is one of the best and fastest tools to host corporate webinars. Creating a webinar is extremely simple and the customization options are great. GoTo Webinar also integrates seamlessly with CRM tools like HubSpot where webinar registrants and attendees can be synced. The API capabilities also help us acquire registrations through multiple channels.

GoTo Webinar does not have any major cons.

We host at least two webinars each month and the registrants are mostly B2B customers and prospects. GoTo Webinar helps us from scheduling and hosting webinars to managing registrants and attendees, all in one platform. GoTo Webinar also syncs the date to our CRM which helps us identify how our customers are engaging through webinars.

With GoTo Webinar, we can schedule live events for our prospective customers and conduct events with easy-to-use software which also allows us to take up questions from viewers.  We can also keep track of how many internal and external viewers are attending the live event and monitor engagement.
It also allows us to record past events to review later

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

The UI is dated and all the buttons are vertically stacked on each other which can make the live event difficult if we need to constantly switch between screen sharing and webcam.

We are a software product company in the helpdesk niche and we regularly conduct technical and marketing webinars for our present and prospective customers. The technical webinars are conducted by me and my team and we often need to switch between screen sharing and webcam. With GoTo Webinar we can present our product easily especially lag-free, which is very important to present a good experience for the viewer so they can understand our product better and later decide to buy it.

A good starter tool for that was a low initial investment. Good HubSpot integration.

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

Very good HubSpot integration; you can even integrate the forms in landing pages.
However, the flaws of this platform are much more significant than a good integration with Hubspot.

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

Everything else. When you are looking for a webinar platform, GoTo looks very good; great reviews, many installs, and the website looks great... It was not what I expected at all. 

For starters, it is not usable in the browser, you have to download the software, and it looks from the 2000s, not very user-friendly at all. To set up a different background for your camera, you should download another software, but that's not all; you should pay $45 to use it! Just for a background. 

The attendees can not participate in the chat. 

It is not compatible with different devices and operating systems. I knew it was not compatible for my laptop (I was the organizer), lucky enough I could find a new one. However, one of the panelists in my webinar, who had a compatible laptop, couldn't even participate... 

In general terrible user experience. 

On the support side, if you pay monthly instead of annually, the only way you have to contact support is by calling a number (coincidence, the free toll number didn't work? just the paid number). The answers I would get were not very solutions driven. Ultimately, they gave me an email address, but I still would get "no-reply" emails back... At least the email answers were better.

We needed a webinar platform that had good integration with Hubspot. That they have. The rest of the product and experience was very bad. It is a very frustrating process the customer experience journey throughout the platform but also trying to contact the support team.

One great item that it seems no other platform offers is the ability to give more than one person (panelist or organizer) keyboard and mouse control so that the transition between speakers is nearly seamless.  This seems so basic, but most other platforms don't have this capability-- but should!

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

If you are in start mode, waiting to officially begin the live webinar, you cannot allow the presenter to test the PowerPoint polls, etc. one last time without the audience seeing the screen.

**Recommendations to others considering GoTo Webinar:**

There are a lot of webinar platforms out there, so do your research and request test sites.  We are using one of the higher level subscriptions that offer more features, and it is definitely worth the investment!

We have been able to offer so many live webinars to a vast, international audience!  Scheduling the webinars is fast, easy and flexible and the variety of reports is very helpful when reviewing analytics.

Sometimes in different regions it can glitch, but rarely.

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

GoGoToWebinar existed before Zoom and created the on-line virtual webinar field. It is financially more viable than Zoom and more business savvy than Zoom. Zoom was initially created for end-users during Covid who needed to reach out at a reasonable price (free was very reasonable), who then insisted we migrate Zoom into the business model, for which it did not fit; thus forcing Zoom to create more business-model aspects and additional pricing. GoTo still has more business models in place with lower pricing than Zoom. We will not give up our GoTo account, but because of popular end-user demand, we have had to add 2 Zoom accounts as well.

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

Not really anything. GoTo did not take advantage of the Covid end-user need for people to reach out in order to create and compete in the end-user coverage like Zoom did.

**What problems is GoTo Webinar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

GoTo also maintains a video library of any of our videos that we want to upload to it at no additional fee.
GoTo provides a toll free number at additional cost in case we need to use one in order to have a meeting in a conference room that doesn't have long distance access.

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

What is most helpful about using Go to Webinar is that everything just works. The platform is user-friendly and intuitive - Not only can I ask my registrants custom questions, but I can set up automated follow-up emails, edit my recordings before posting a link, track registrants based on a source code, download multiple types of reports, and I've never had a glitch during a live event.  There is so much to love about this platform that I could list off another 5-10 features that are just so helpful!

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

I cannot think of a downside as it relates to using Go to Webinar.

**What problems is GoTo Webinar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Go to Webinar allows me to mute my audience and give me the upper hand as it relates to responding to attendee questions during the live event. Additionally, the recordings are housed directly within the platform which means I do not need to export them and manage their storage individually. Everything I need to access is available within 1 portal. Additionally, I enjoy having the ability to quickly survey my attendees - getting immediate feedback once the event is over is invaluable. If I'd have to manage this on my own, I'm really not sure how this would be executed since we don't have an easy way of doing this on our own. Additionally, the built-in follow-up emails are great. I can easily insert my copy and simply set the timing for each follow-up email.

**What do you like best about GoTo Webinar?**

GoTo Webinar is intuitive and easy to create webinars with. We can create events and webinars from the GoTo Webinar dashboard on the web browser, where we can invite users via email. We can schedule the webinars to automatically start at a later date whether it's one-time or recurring. It's easy to implement as it carries over profiles and emails from anyone who's ever used GoToMeeting previously before it was upgraded to GoTo and its products. To ensure a seamless flow of webinars, the application has settings to test your mic and webcam within the dashboard. The webinars are excellent and allow communication across any device or region. You can participate in them using your computer audio or phone call. Webinars make collaborating easier as we can show our screen to all the attendees. You can give keyboard and mouse access to any attendee while showing the screen for any work that requires a collaborative effort. You can show presentations easily and if it's group work, you can change the presenter and give someone else the control to move slides and use interactive features. The interactive features include creating polls and questions with text boxes where the users can leave their answers, which is excellent for surveying and receiving feedback. We can record our webinars with up to 6GB of size by default, but you can increase the limit from the settings if your device has more storage space as GoTo save all the recordings on the computer.

The best part about GoTo Webinar is that you can get full analytics for your webinars, showcasing the number of registrants and attendees and the attendance rate for each user. You can have the data exported into a spreadsheet for keeping records of your webinars. GoTo Webinars has a video library where you can upload your recordings or any videos for viewing on the browser or sharing. You can drag and drop your file from your computer or upload them from your cloud drives such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, and Box. Similarly, file transfer can also be done through these mediums.

Overall, GoTo Webinar is excellent for connecting with a large audience and supporting up to 100 people. Your webinars can be live or pre-recorded, where users can just join and view the session and leave post-session interactions through polls and feedback forms.

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

For first-time users, setting up a webinar can be complicated. Unlike GoTo Meeting, there's no direct way to download the GoTo Webinar desktop application. You'll have to create and start a webinar from your browser and only then will it prompt you to install and open the application. This process was a little confusing for us at first because there was no explanation for this anywhere and we had to search on Google to find the solution. The interface is also difficult to get used to at first because all the features and settings are bundled up together without much room for navigation. It also has no web browser support, so downloading the application is a must.

**Recommendations to others considering GoTo Webinar:**

GoTo Webinar is reliable and offers a streamlined platform for virtual webinars, which are quite prominent today due to travel restrictions and COVID protocols. However, it can be a bit of a hassle to implement and set up initially. I cannot say it's better than Zoom, but I'd still recommend it.

**What problems is GoTo Webinar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We've been using it for webinars since the pandemic started and it allows seamless connections with people around the world, many of whom are clients from Europe and Southeast Asia. For training and collaborating, GoTo Webinars has been perfect, providing an excellent platform to share files, show screens, show presentations, and generate reports based on attendance and interactions. Although implementation could've been a little easier, it's been pretty easy to use since then and setting up live events or webinars is pretty straightforward. We can tick the option to make it recurring so that it automatically does the work of alerting the users for each upcoming webinar.

GTW is super easy to use for even the most technically challenged! I love that it can easily be accessed on most devices we use daily, regardless of where you are.

I don't believe there is much that doesn't work well on GTW.  The only suggestion I would have is to allow for more handouts to be added as well as the ability to upload multiple handouts at a time instead of one at a time.  This would be helpful and make my job easier!

Go To Webinar allows my team to easily train users of our website either in a live setting or using the simulive options.  This frees up time to work on improving our training material while still providing the needed training to our users.  Super convenient!

Robust and dependable product, effortless to use. This was a good experience with no significant drawbacks; some features are absent from my liking, but the overall performance fulfills what I have been seeking and solves problems in a timely and realistic manner. What I enjoy best about this is that we may pay yearly or monthly and receive a rebate. GoToWebinar's reporting functions are my favorite. I may download enrollment records, assess participation, and examine pre- and post-webinar questionnaires, polling, and survey responses.

Some hassles while giving a presentation on full-screen mode; I've had various issues with certain audio and mic settings over the previous 2 years. Gotowebinar is a very stable platform, which provides a good delegate experience, and is great for organising educational webinars.  It provides excellent statistics after an event, and the bulk upload of delegates is a useful feature.

Gotowebinar does not have breakout rooms, which would be a good addition. When you use pre-recorded video content in a live webinar, a very small minority of users struggle to see / hear this content.

Always arrange practice sessions with speakers prior to the event - Mac users may have to change permissions and log out and back in before screen sharing the first time they use it.

GoTo webinar allows all the required tools to successfully provide a webinar to an audience, from a minimum of 250 participants to a maximum of 3000 depending on the plan that you purchase. What I do like the most is that it also allows the option to pay on monthly basis or annually with a discount.

GotoWebinar has a lot of options but may cause a little confusion to some users, all the options are a little small and hard to identify at the beginning, but once you get used to where to find the options for recording, answering questions, etc. you are good to go but can be a little challenge for new users for the first time.

Is a little less expensive alternative to creating webinars for an audience and it also provides the necessary tool for them, for example to record the screen, and your face or create a Q/A chat for the audience.

It is simple to host a webinar with GoToWebinar. The audio-visual performance is excellent and superior to any other webinar hosting tool. Furthermore, other features like desktop sharing and recording seem amazing. I enjoy how it allows me to write notes on all webinar participants while also providing access to polling data. This poll feature is a great benefit of popular webinars since it allows one to easily measure public comprehension or collect actual information.

I just have a single complaint about GoToWebinar, and that is the smartphone app's UI. The smartphone app's UI is dull. I generally favor the online interface since it is so swift and reliable. I believe it is a little pricey. It might be perplexing to convert between Windows.

GoToWebinar is ideal for organizing large-scale conferences. It could be used as a learning tool for any corporation, and it has superior hosting controllability to most other online meeting solutions. I frequently use this application to communicate quickly and easily. It is a must-try app.

It offers all of the necessary capabilities for a webinar tool. just the right fit. One of the most appealing aspects of GoToWebinar seems to be the ease with which it may be linked. I like the reporting features of GoToWebinar best. I'm able to export registration reports, analyze attendance and view in-session and post-session questions, polls and survey feedback. This allows us to gain even more insights on our attendees and track our performance across similar events. The reports export to Excel for easy integration to our CRM or further analysis for executive reports.

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

I'm not in love with the new Virtual Events option. We tested this for some internal training but found that we were unable to promote in-session attendees to the speaker panel. It also was an issue that we needed to reschedule one of our session dates and were unable to. We had to create a new session instead.

**What problems is GoTo Webinar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Initially, GoToWebinar helped us continue to connect with our customers during the pandemic lockdown. We realized that we were collecting more leads from those events and more information about the leads by using GoToWebinar's survey features and dynamic registration questions. We continue to plan virtual events and are still generating new leads for our sales team.

Several times during our LIVE webinar the webcam function has been down. We had to continue the scheduled program without video function. There are many steps to setting up a webinar. It would be nice to have it streamlined some.

Make sure it runs on your network clearly. We have users unable to participate depending on how heavy a firewall they have in place.

I've used Go to Webinar for 15+ years at various companies and it has stood the test of time for consistency and reliability when it comes to a meeting platform. Particularly when COVID hit and work was forced to go completely digital, GTW didn't miss a beat and despite sampling other meeting platforms, GTW remains my platform of choice. It also provides the most comprehensive options in my opinion for hosting various audiences and speakers that need different access options and the ability to have redundancies on the operator side if someone is out.

**What do you dislike about GoTo Webinar?**

The only thing I dislike is that the platform has looked the same for the past 15+ years (the plugin, not the web portion) and maybe that deserves a small facelift.

I can't say I dislike any aspect of this. It seems easy to use and others that are on the webinar end seem to find it easy to use compared to other platforms. Even students seem to find it easy.

Its screen sharing is quite good and switching between screens their preview make it good. Mic control also simple. It has a Practice mode which is good before broadcast.

Its meetings automatically disconnects, sound sometimes not recorded, sometimes attendees get issue they can't hear the speaker, chat box is not good at all, and last is the control banner which always stays a side of screen that displays as a black spot in the side of the screen.

This is simple interface software and I can use it without practsing on it. It also have good option of recording the meeting which at last converts the recording files in less size.
