## Gong Reviews
 ### 1. Good Call Recording, but Stopped Evolving and Became Hard to Justify the Cost

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joaquin R. | TechOps Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

It did the job back when we were using it. The call recording and transcription worked well, and at the time there really wasn’t much better available. The conversation analytics were also helpful for spotting trends across the team. Overall, it was a decent tool for its era.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It felt like the product stopped evolving. We were paying a lot for what was basically just call recording and a few dashboards, without much else to justify the cost.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At this point, it’s not doing much for us, we’ve moved off it. When we were using it, though, it provided call recordings and some basic conversation insights, which were helpful for coaching and for going back over deals.

 ### 2. Review calls and automatic insights that let you focus on the conversation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

What I value most is the ease of reviewing past calls without relying on my own notes. Additionally, with automatic insights, I can focus on the live conversation instead of writing all the time.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Insights and metrics sometimes feel too oriented towards traditional sales teams and don't quite fit with more strategic workflows or those typical of an agency. I would like to have more flexibility to customize what is tracked, depending on the type of conversation.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me solve the problem of losing context between meetings: I no longer rely on my own notes or ask a colleague to summarize a call I couldn't attend. Thanks to this, I can keep up with several projects in parallel without sacrificing depth and without wasting the team's time by repeating information.

 ### 3. A Game-Changer for Sales Call Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter B. | Founder & AI Solutions Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love using Gong to analyze sales calls, prepare for upcoming meetings, and write follow-up emails. It really helps create a repeatable process for every prospect and provides valuable insights on my performance. I especially appreciate the feature that helps me prepare for meetings, as I often have back-to-back meetings and don't have time to re-read my notes. I'm impressed with the amount of data I get on each call and how quickly I can prepare for meetings. Also, everything worked seamlessly for me as soon as Gong went live, and I could easily see all the calls I ran on my calendar.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

My main complaints are the time it takes for calls to analyze, especially when they are over 45 minutes in length. Sometimes for last minute meetings they do not get captured by Gong and require me to manually upload the call.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to analyze sales calls, prepare for meetings, and write follow-up emails. It creates a repeatable process, offers valuable insights on my performance, and saves time by letting me quickly prepare for back-to-back meetings without rereading notes.

 ### 4. Transforms Call Analysis with Ease

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use Gong to review calls for training and to spot coaching opportunities. UI/UX is very easy to understand . It integrates my internal tools with Gong easily which leads to improve in my performance. Pricing was minimal and easy to provide support to my clients seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes the transcript shows incorrect information. That can be improved.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to listen to calls and draft MOMs, identify improvement areas, and use keyword triggers to focus on key call parts. It provides personalized coaching metrics and auto recording/transcriptions.

 ### 5. Insightful Call Analysis and Seamless Sharing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** May L. | Sr. Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong is incredibly helpful by transcribing and analyzing sales calls that help me extract insights from users and help inform design decisions. The ai summary and insights give me a quick high level of the call and the ability of saving and sharing help seamlessly in our feedback research

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

i dislike how it marks a call as listened when i haven't listened to the full call. if i close out of a call before finishing it and go back to the home page, it makes me think i've listened to the call. sometimes the ai summaries are also inaccurate and makes me think it isn't reliable

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong is solving the business problem of having a central place of recorded sales calls to help with our feedback research. This benefits me because I have a library of collected feedback to analyze and sythensize

 ### 6. Great Call Recording and Transcription with Clear Summaries and Action Items

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

It does a great job not just recording the call but also transcribing, documenting who attended the call, and the summary of the call including next step action items.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

there is some times difficulty connecting it with your calendar or your video call method based on what apps you use

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to focus on my meetings and conversations knowing that the Gong is recording the call automatically on the backend. It also sends me a notification email when it's done processing it so I don't have to go and check on the platform whether the recording is ready for me to review or not. It's also very easy to share information from the call via Gong platform directly.

 ### 7. Integrated Revenue Insights That Make the Data Easy to Understand

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul F. | VP, Digital Media Public Sector at Adobe, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

As a SLM, I like how so many revenue functions are in one, integrated space for AE's and leaders to review. It significantly helps me make better sense of what the data is telling me.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I am able to share out a DealBoard, but haven't quite been able to keep track or change what's been shared.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps me accelerate my time-to-inspection decision about my team's deals.

 ### 8. Streamlined CRM with Some Performance Hiccups

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Athiseshan S. | Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like how Gong helps me do everything in one place and track the open and click rate when I send emails. I find the call recordings and transcripts really valuable because they accurately transcribe the calls, which helps me update my CRM a little faster. I also appreciate how Gong suggests follow-up emails based on what was discussed during the call.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It's sometimes slow. If I have like 100 email to-do's and I want to get that done in one go, it's lagging and delaying the time to go to the next steps.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps me do everything in one place, track email open and click rates, accurately transcribes call recordings, and suggests follow-up emails.

 ### 9. Gong’s Call Recording and AI Summaries Save Me Tons of Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kyle B. | Solutions Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong has been huge for the call recording, AI features like email writing and summarize. It saves me a ton of time in my follow up

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The AI can be refined a bit as the email writing usually needs a bit of touch up. That is nitpicky since there is not really anything that stands out

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Call recording, deal insights, deal inspection, automated email writing, call transcript

 ### 10. Detailed Call Reports and Summaries That Deliver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

the detailed reports and summary about the calls

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I think it is the delay of records and some calls are missing from the system. the Lag of the system itself kinda annoying as well.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Problems It Solves:
The "Note-Taking" Distraction: Trying to scribble down details during a fast-paced call prevents you from being fully present or actively listening to the customer.

Forgotten Details & Misunderstandings: Human memory is flawed. Forgetting a minor technical requirement or a timeline constraint can easily derail a deal later.

Vague Follow-Ups: Crafting thorough, accurate recap emails from memory takes significant time and effort.

 ### 11. Seamless Zoom Integration with Automatic Recordings, Recaps, and Transcripts

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam E. | Solutions Integration Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love how it easily integrates into Zoom and it records the meetings and automatically sends the recording to my email. I like how simple it is to add to a meeting, as well as all the features available when I'm visiting the recording like looking at AI generated recaps and summaries and transcriptions and such.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I would like to see more of a visual foor it on Zoom, currently it seems a bit hidden but I would like more of a visual indicator when it is there.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It records meetings and sends them and stores them to be reviewed which is very helpful for referring back to important calls. It also provides meeting sumaries and recaps which save a lot of time going back through the meetings.

 ### 12. Gong has now improved a lot because of the Ai feature like Briefs, Outline, Transcript, Points of interest

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayushmaan N. | Sales Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Gong?**

So Now we don't have to listen to the entire call we can simply read the transcript and do the audits it make work easy and to listed maximum call in a single day compared to the past.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

There is nothing much as per me the team worked really great to make the interface amazing. Just one suggestion if they can make a separate column for the already listened calls that would be better.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The user interface is simple and easy to use.

 ### 13. Best-in-Class AI Insights with an Easy Interface and Great Hubspot Integration

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong's AI summary provided after the recorded call is a great way to remember exactly what was discussed and the action items that need to be followed up on.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The AI Notetaker that joins all the calls at the beginning always gives a disclaimer message that interrupts the small talk

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong is helping our Account Manager team maintain an up to date profile on our customer's business and project manage the daily asks of our clients.

 ### 15. Great UI and AI Insights with Seamless CRM Integrations

Overall, you can get a lot more insights from Gong. It's integration with other important CRM is super amazing. Ai insights helps to understand the status of account.

Sometimes it is glitchy but most time works well. Support is very responsive in such cases.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting the summary of what was discussed. Post summary call email. overview of how the call was and its reporting. It also does sentiment analysis well.

 ### 16. Great program!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zack K. | Senior Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong has been very easy to use for the last few years.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I have not found too many issue. I think the search feature could use more filtering options but they have continued to update it.

**Recommendations to others considering Gong:**

Once you start using Gong, I recommend trying out the different features. There have been many things that Gong offers that I did not know were something I needed. The insights that come from Gong have really improved my sales and ability to be coached.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong has helped me with tracking my meetings. One helpful benefit is to be able to relisten and isolate parts of a call. This has been helpful to see what a customer said in a call and not have to rely on my memory or notes. The ability to receive coaching has been great too. I can easily send a clip to my manager without her having to listen to the entire call.

 ### 17. Effortless Call Management with Organized Recordings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love Gong's recording capabilities and how organized it is. I can check recordings anytime, no matter how old they are, and there's AI to assist and summarize the meetings. The interface is easy to manage and navigate around. The initial setup was seamless.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I think the search bar could be more intuitive. I want it to be as simple as possible, so when I type a name, I want all related recordings to display without needing to be too specific, like the name of the caller or similar names mentioned in a call.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to review calls, listen to recordings, and summarize meetings. It solves misalignments and helps review past meetings and colleagues' calls. Gong's AI assists in summarizing, and the easy navigation makes managing recordings seamless.

 ### 18. Indispensable for recording and analyzing meetings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xenie B. | Manager, Customer Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like that Gong transcribes words spoken during an online meeting into text form, which makes it very easy to search by keywords. You can also ask the AI agent about the content of online meetings, check what was promised to the client, and what the next steps might be. I also like that Gong records online meetings very well, which can then be easily sent to the client as personalized training videos.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes word recognition in Gong does not work with one hundred percent accuracy. Additionally, I found it difficult to use the search in Gong for calls, especially when I entered the exact name of the meeting, and the system often found nothing, even though it was searching in call titles.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to record online meetings and create personalized training videos. It transcribes meetings into text, which makes it easier to search and verify promises to clients.

 ### 19. Highly Efficient, User-Friendly with Minor Setup Delays

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarat B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I find the summary feature of Gong very useful for the implementation team. We use it extensively to send out invoices and create recruitment documents. The setup was pretty simple thanks to its user-friendly interface. Additionally, Gong is linked to Slack and Rocketlane, allowing us to easily get call summaries.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

We usually have a lot of Huddl codes. So even if you invite, it will take around five to ten minutes for Gong to join. If you can improve that time where the recorder joins the call for ad hoc codes, it would be awesome if we can fix it.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to understand requirements and discussions. It's great for managing the onboarding process and provides useful summaries for the implementation team. We extensively use it for sending invoices and creating documents.

 ### 20. Accurate Transcriptions, Clean UI, and Integrations That Fit My Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J.T. S. | Sr. Product Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love the summaries, the ACTUALLY accurate transcriptions, and how I can tie everything directly to the Accounts and Opportunities I’m working on. The UI is clean, and the wide range of integrations makes it genuinely useful in my day-to-day workflow.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Lots of hoops to jump through just to share something internally to an unlicensed user

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recording customer-facing calls to perform user research and focus on the call without having to take notes live.

 ### 21. Seamless Call Summaries and Next Steps with Great Slack/SF Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin G. | Partner Enablement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

i love how it turns my calls into actionable next step items. its seamless and quick. Its fast and reliable and the integration to my slack/SF is great. The ai summeries are great as well

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

it does sometimes take long to receive the call recording when trying to move fast but not that big of a deal.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

actionable next steps and speed to lead.

 ### 22. Efficient Call Review with Minor Limitations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan Paul S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like Gong because there's a specific part where I can type in a question, and it automatically checks things for me, providing a summary about the question I have.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Well, there's a specific omnichannel phone call that Gong is not able to track. Wherein, there are times wherein that very specific phone call is very important, and I would like to review it. But more or less, Gong wasn't able to capture it.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong lets me listen to calls to understand and review questions I might miss, helping me practice for clearer answers.

 ### 23. Gong Accelerated My Ramp-Up with Data-Driven Coaching and Reliable Salesforce Sync

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The thing I didn't expect from Gong: it made me a better rep faster than any formal training I'd done. I've used it across a few different companies now, and the ramp-up benefit is real every time. The call scoring and talk-ratio breakdowns give me an objective view of where I'm losing deals, not just a gut feeling. I use the Smart Trackers weekly to flag when competitors come up or pricing gets mentioned, so coaching conversations are actually specific instead of generic.

The CRM sync with Salesforce is reliable and saves me probably 30 minutes a day on manual logging. AI summaries are strong, not perfect, but good enough that I trust them for async handoffs.
If I had a gripe, it's the onboarding curve. The platform is dense and takes a few weeks before you're getting real value out of it. Once you're past that, though, it becomes the tool you open before every deal review.

On ROI: the value is real, but Gong is expensive, and that's worth being honest about. There are solid competitors in this space that may deliver comparable outcomes at a lower price point. If budget is a constraint, it's worth evaluating the alternatives before committing. If you have the spend, Gong is technically the category leader for a reason, but it's not the only answer.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

If I had a gripe, it's the onboarding curve, and it goes deeper than just learning the UI. The platform is tedious to configure properly, and I've worked in a lot of Gong instances that were never fully set up. When that happens, you're leaving most of the value on the table. If you're going to invest in this platform, someone needs to own the implementation or you'll end up with a glorified call recorder.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A few things:

First, deal visibility. Before Gong, pipeline reviews were mostly gut instinct. Now I can see exactly when engagement dropped, which stakeholders went quiet, and what topics came up across every call. That changes how I prioritize.

Second, ramp time. Every time I've joined a new company, Gong cut my time to productivity. Listening to recorded calls from top reps is faster than any onboarding doc or shadow session.

Third, manual logging. CRM hygiene used to eat 20-30 minutes a day. Auto-logging and AI summaries handle most of that now.

 ### 24. Revolutionized My Customer Interactions—No More Note-Taking!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brendon M. | Sr Enterprise AE, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Gong?**

How I no longer have to take notes! I can be present with the customer, truly listen, then go back and get exact quotes on what they said their priorities are.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It's difficult to say that I dislike anything, but I do wish the app offered more proactive coaching. For example, it would be helpful if the app could say something like, "Our research shows the ideal number of questions to ask on a first call is x, but you asked y. Try using these more impactful questions so you can ask fewer overall." Maybe this feature already exists, but if not, it would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find it much easier to prepare for calls later in the sales cycle, and I really appreciate being able to share those calls with key team members, such as SEs and leadership. This helps us work together more effectively to move the deal forward.

 ### 25. Efficient Call Recording and Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like the analytics, being able to understand my pace, and how much I'm talking compared to my prospects. I also like how the feature has, kind of, target benchmarks for what you should be aiming for. It's been helpful in better understanding my demo tactics and making improvements. I thought it was really easy to set up, and once it was integrated with our CRM.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I think just the searchability and being able to find specific snippets. I think the AI components can always be improved, but I think they're pretty good so far.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong saves me a ton of time by taking notes during sales calls. It also lets me record and share call insights with my clients.

 ### 26. Gong transformed our sales coaching with powerful AI call insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Security and Investigations | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong has completely transformed how our sales team operates. The AI-powered call recording and transcription features are incredibly accurate and save hours of manual note-taking every week. The conversation intelligence is top-notch — it automatically highlights key moments, action items, and risks in every call, making coaching sessions much more focused and productive. The Ask Anything AI feature is a game-changer for quickly pulling insights from past calls without listening to entire recordings. It also integrates seamlessly with our CRM, keeping everything in sync without extra manual effort from the team.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The main area for improvement is the native integration with Google Workspace, particularly Gmail. While the Outlook integration has improved significantly, Gmail users are still left without a comparable native experience. Additionally, the pricing can be a barrier for smaller teams, and the initial onboarding and setup process can feel overwhelming without dedicated support. Occasionally, the transcription accuracy drops when there are multiple speakers with heavy accents or when the audio quality is not ideal.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the problem of visibility into customer conversations. Before Gong, sales managers had limited insight into what was actually happening on calls — coaching was based on rep descriptions rather than reality. Now we can listen to calls together, give targeted feedback, and identify winning patterns from top performers. It has also dramatically improved ramp time for new reps, who can learn from recorded calls of successful deals. The deal intelligence features help us spot at-risk opportunities earlier, which has directly improved our forecast accuracy.

 ### 27. Enhances Prospecting and Deal Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Will S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like the ability to take Gong calls and compile them into a cloud project. It allows me to determine and run searches on what most of our ideal customers are experiencing, including their origins and the legacy ERP systems they're migrating from. This helps me understand their industry pain points and those related to their current software, which makes it possible to tailor messaging for outreach to other potential leads and prospects in the same industry. Gong also makes it valuable to compile data from companies across different industries and legacy ERP systems. It helps me figure out a consensus on the struggles most companies have, whether with business processes or solutions they're using. This insight lets me prepare better for future calls and tailor my outreach to address those pain points effectively, driving the pipeline.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I'm a newer user and haven't come across anything yet that I don't like.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to record and analyze all of my deal cycle sessions. It automatically transcribes calls and summarizes them, helping me capture important details I might miss. I can also compile calls to find common customer pain points, tailor messaging, and improve outreach.

 ### 28. Streamlines Sales with User-Friendly Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike H. | Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I find Gong extremely user-friendly, which is really important for me. I love how it integrates well with all of our systems through the Gong Everywhere extension. The call recording with AI note-taking and automating follow-ups are made so easy. These features shave time off the administrative tasks in my day-to-day activities, allowing me to focus more on selling and talking to customers.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I've noticed some bugs with Gong Everywhere, particularly if I have multiple Salesforce tabs open. Sometimes the icon will appear in one Salesforce tab and not another, which is irritating. I could be user error, but I'm a person who has several accounts on Salesforce open at a time and would like Gong Everywhere to work for all of them, but I'm noticing sometimes it doesn't.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong for call recording, learning, and engagement with flows. It helps me track my progress, follow up with new clients, send automated emails, and clean my pipeline. It's user-friendly and integrates with systems, saving time on administrative tasks so I can focus on selling.

 ### 29. Real Deal Visibility and Actionable Call Insights with Gong

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alican T. | Senior SDR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong has supported me in getting real visibility into what is actually happening across my deals. It has the power to review all my calls, spot all the patterns within winning and losing deals and it gives me insights on my messaging, objections and most importantly next steps.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Honestly - nothing. If there was anything I'd flag it would be the cost to have it in our company

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps solve the lack of consistency and visibility in all of my conversations. Before having Gong I would typically have to try and remember the conversation that is taking place on being overly distracted by taking notes during the call.

 ### 30. AI-Powered Insights That Transform Sales Calls

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use Gong for all of our call recordings and it provides incredible insight from our sales calls. The AI features are really powerful, much stronger than Outreach's Kaia product. Gong makes it easy to search for keywords, ask questions, and get valuable summaries of calls, which helps in drafting follow-up emails and planning the best next steps. It's also great for coaching and team development by easily searching for things said during calls. The initial setup was pretty quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes the phone calls from Outreach don't carry over into Gong very well. It would also be nice to be able to see some valuable info from each account/deal directly in Salesforce without having to go into Gong.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong for call recordings, gaining insights from sales calls. It saves time by searching call content, aids coaching, allows AI inquiries about calls or deals, and helps close more deals.

 ### 31. Actionable Sales Call Insights That Make Coaching and Deal Visibility Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong stands out for turning sales calls into actionable insights. It makes coaching easier, improves deal visibility, and helps teams learn from real conversations. The ability to quickly search, review, and analyze calls is especially valuable.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Gong can be expensive, and its AI insights aren’t always accurate. It also has a learning curve and can feel overwhelming or overly “monitoring” for some users.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the problem of relying on guesswork in sales by capturing and analyzing real customer conversations. It gives better visibility into deals, helps identify risks early, and makes coaching easier. This benefits me by saving time, improving decision-making, and helping the team perform more consistently.

 ### 32. Reliable, Detailed Call Recording Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artur S. | Customer Success Onboarding , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use Gong for recording my onboarding calls, and I really appreciate how it shares the call video and transcript with clients. It helps me write detailed follow-up emails based on the transcript and answers my questions related to the call after. I like its reliability and how detailed it is, especially the recordings feature. It works every time, connects to Zoom, is available to share with clients, and I know when they accessed the link. Plus, the initial setup of Gong was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It should be visible when I shared the call with clients so I don't do it twice.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong records my onboarding calls, shares call videos and transcripts with clients, helps me write detailed follow-up emails, and answers my questions related to the call.

 ### 33. Intuitive UI and Search That Helps You Hear Every Customer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eddy N. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Easy and very intuitive UI, easy to navigate and find relevant information via the search engine. The outcome is priceless for the content, all of the sudden you have ears for all customers.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Saving calls into calls is pretty basic.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hearing customer needs and gathering large quantities of data about painful areas and features requests from customers.

 ### 34. Insightful Call Analytics, Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu C. | Senior Technical Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like the call analytics feature in Gong, as it helps me understand how the call went and what can be improved. Features like the longest monologue and the talk to listen ratio are particularly useful. The AI features are good too, although not great. I also find the analytics to be generally good, and the initial setup was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Integrations with calendar, it does not automatically get added to the meeting but needs to be added as an addon on Google Calendar.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong for call recordings and analyzing call videos, which helps with understanding and improving calls. The AI features assist in writing emails and summaries.

 ### 35. Transcripts and Recordings That Deliver Clear Call Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bibjan G. | Google Ads Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

The transcript and recording feature lets me listen back to my own calls and get insights or a summary.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

They updated our call late, so we ended up waiting around an hour, or even longer than that.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They were able to listen to our call and identify the opportunities we had.

 ### 36. Clear visibility into what actually drives deals forward

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin C. | SDR / BDR, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

It turns real sales calls into clear, actionable insights. I can quickly see what’s working, where deals are at risk, and coach or adjust based on real conversations instead of gut feel.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The biggest downside is the price. It’s a powerful tool, but it can be hard to justify for smaller teams. It also takes time to set up properly and get everyone using it consistently, so the value isn’t always immediate.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong solves the guesswork in sales by capturing and analysing real conversations. It highlights what’s working, flags deal risks early, and shows trends across the funnel. For me, that means better forecasting, faster onboarding, and coaching that actually moves the needle because it’s based on real behaviour, not opinions.

 ### 37. Transcript Q&A Makes Recording Insights Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marley M. | Sales Development Representative, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like the transcript feature and being able to ask specific questions about the recording

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I think occasionally it mis-maps prospects/ accounts

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think it helps me really understand the context/ conversations that took place around a demo/call for my outreach

 ### 38. Gong is my favorite tool in our tech stack!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexa A. | Director, Account Management East, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I've used Gong in 2 different roles and organizations now over the course of the last few years as a Manager of Account Managers. Gong helps me as a leader give direct "live" feedback on calls to improves sales skills that I otherwise would only have insight on if I was on the call. I love the scorecards and AI functions and that they continue to improve from when I first started using Gong to now. The user usability is easy enough for call searching and easy to train on. I also love the transcript function and ability to search the overall outline and keypoints of the call.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The way our Forecasting translates into Gong is confusing b/c we don't operate on dollars as a metric for quota. The Forecasting notes section is used everyday but it's clunky and the editing can turn out weird and look unprofessional. When tracking reps Gong activity we find errors in calls listened to based on if they're on the phone app or using their computer URL.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sales Coaching, Gong gives me the ability to give "live" and detailed feedback on calls when I'm not able to attend. We also have so many partners that Gong ability to summarize a last call is helpful to get up to speed quick w/out time consuming research.

 ### 39. Sales coaching and review platform

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Gong?**

While they claim Account Executives, Customer Support, and AMs "benefit" from this, in reality, it just means everyone is under constant surveillance.
• Obsession with Vanity Metrics: Management now obsesses over "talk ratios" (who is talking more) rather than the actual quality of the relationship. It encourages reps to stay silent just to pad their stats, even when they need to take control of a call.
• Robotic "Keyword Bingo": The topic gauging feature kills natural conversation. You feel pressured to shoehorn in specific phrases or "popular topics" (like new products) just to satisfy the algorithm, rather than listening to what the client actually needs.
• Nitpicking Over Coaching: The ability to auto-tag feedback at specific times just gives managers a tool to nitpick every stutter or pause. Instead of holistic coaching, you get bombarded with timestamped criticisms on minor details.
• Unrealistic Standards: The "library of best calls" creates a cookie-cutter culture. Management expects everyone to mimic the top 1% of calls exactly, which kills individual personality and authenticity in the sales process.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Not much. Sometimes the transcript isn't perfect, but it's hard to find things that are lacking in this product.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using it to implement new training and call tracks, coach reps on the sales process, and discover what are the top complaints or praise we hear from our customers. In addition, we can easily pull some insights on what top reps are doing vs our middle performers.

 ### 40. Excellent Team Management and Performance Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camille B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use Gong for managing my team, evaluating performance, and sharing feedback, which is very helpful. I also like using Gong to share best practices of calls and breaking down the silos of everyone's individual projects. The call summaries are particularly useful, and being able to see the sales forecast is also helpful. The initial setup was easy too.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

My team summary feedback. It would be great to get an email from my entire team summarizing their performance on calls. Too much silence, too many filler words, give me feedback summary for me to review. Consolidate the feedback for managers.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong for managing my team and sharing feedback. It helps ramp team training and breaks down silos by sharing best practices.

 ### 41. Gong Makes Meeting Recording and Transcripts Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

Gong is a Revenue intelligence tool used to record meeting and provide transcript with important conversations held over the meeting

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Disadvantage about usage of Gong is its privacy. Due to privacy some of the customers does'nt allow us to record meeting with Gong

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that Gong solves for me is transcription of the meeting along with the recording, It pinpoints the important points in the conversation

 ### 42. Essential for Onboarding, but Manual Organization Can Be Tedious

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis F. | Member, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Gong?**

As a new employee (Account Manager), Gong has been critical in my onboarding efforts. It's not only given me an entire library of call recordings separated by account and rep to prep for my sign off of mock demos, but it's also given me extremely detailed notes on each of the accounts that are in my name. I like this best about Gong as it's given me confidence to show up in my role knowing the inner workings of how my clients utilize our product (particularly given there are many ways to use it). I use it every day to uncover notes and watch my colleagues recordings to come up with ideas that make sense in my own workflows.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

There is a manual nature to using the platform specifically as it relates to segmenting calls and making folders for onboarding. It requires other reps to be diligent about what calls (demos, renewals, etc.) make sense to include in trainings and there is another layer of manager approval to keep these calls up to date.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool addresses the challenge of manual onboarding and the lack of detailed notes from client conversations. It automatically takes notes and lets me use AI to ask questions about what is working well or why clients appreciate the platform they are using. With these notes, I am able to have more meaningful and productive discussions with my manager, colleagues, and clients about the status of their accounts.

 ### 43. Efficient Meetings, Streamlined Follow-Ups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rajshree N. | Senior Business Development Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use Gong for all meetings, including with external and internal stakeholders. Gong captures the important parts of the meeting rather than recording the entire session, which really helps me. I am able to quickly write a round-up email instead of spending time taking notes and creating an email later. The initial setup of Gong was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Gong's integration with Salesforce isn't seamless. When a person added to the meeting is tagged to two accounts in Salesforce, the opportunity isn't getting captured in the right account.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong for meeting summaries, capturing important parts rather than entire recordings, and it helps me quickly write follow-up emails without taking manual notes.

 ### 44. Great Call Analysis

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tara F. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love the outline feature and the AI integration. Helps me find what I need faster without reading the whole transcript

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

It could be easier to search for specific calls

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us remember crucial parts of essential conversations - it allows us not to go back and forth for information because someone forgot something or did not take good notes. It also allowed my manager to go back and listen to my calls and give me feedback. This was crucial since we are fully remote, and this was my first sales job.

 ### 45. Intuitive Interface, Enhances Communication

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josie Kate R. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use Gong for meetings with clients and vendors, and I appreciate the ease of communication and streamlining efforts it provides. I like the user interface and how easy it is to use; it's not as confusing or jumbled up as Zoom. I also like the recording properties because they allow us to go back and reference materials. The initial setup of Gong was super easy.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I find that sometimes the automated components like emojis don't work well. They're not user-friendly and often don't send at all after being prompted.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong helps with the ease of communication and streamlining efforts. The user interface is easy to use and not confusing like Zoom. The recording properties allow us to go back and reference materials.

 ### 46. Gong’s AI Summaries and Analytics Make Call Reviews and Coaching Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel W. | Commercial Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I love the new AI summarizations and recommendations for my opportunity notes, and the analytics from the AI listening. But even before the Ai tools were introduced, Gong provided a great way to review calls, get coaching, and revisit previous conversations with prospects and clients.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

The integration with SFDC is annoyingly slow to sync (though it's possible we have it on an SFTP instead of an API for some reason), andGong's transcription and AI recognition isn't the best, but functionality-wise, Gong really does everything I have wanted or expected it to.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong gives us opportunities to be better coached on our sales conversations and talk tracks, as well as revisiting details or contested information. We also use it for forecasting and deal notes. It provides great visibility into deal command analytics for managers.

 ### 47. Streamlined Meeting Management with Gong's AI Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay F. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like the folders for easy organization of specific types of calls, which are really useful for new hire onboarding. I appreciate the AI summary and next steps, and the easy search bar that helps find keywords or info needed quickly. These features save me time and make it easier to follow up with a client or train a new team member. The initial setup of Gong was very easy, which was a plus.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

My only issue is when the Gong recording isn't set up as expected, like having to send a new or updated Zoom link at the last minute. Uploading the Zoom recording to Gong wasn't very intuitive. It took some time and help to figure out how to make it work. I'd appreciate clearer support instructions or a more intuitive placement for external uploads.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to reference past calls, summarize meeting information, and train new team members. The folders, AI summary, and search bar save time and help me find needed information quickly.

 ### 48. Empowers Strategic Sales with Insightful Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven M. | Account Manager, Marketing and Advertising, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I use Gong to gain deeper visibility into customer conversations and deal health tracking across the sales cycle. It helps me review call recordings, track key topics and objections, and understand stakeholder sentiment so I can follow up more strategically. I find it valuable for forecasting and pipeline management by highlighting risk signals, buying intent, and next steps. Gong captures and analyzes calls and meetings, so I don't have to rely on memory or subjective notes, which clearly shows me what was discussed. The deal and pipeline insights are what I like most, as Gong flags risk factors, next steps, and engagement trends, which helps me prioritize the right accounts and stay ahead of potential issues. The coaching and collaboration features make it easy to share clips and insights with sales and leadership, keeping everyone aligned on messaging and best practices. Overall, it helps to reduce manual work and enables me to be more proactive in managing relationships. The initial setup was relatively straightforward, and though there was a short learning curve with all the features, the tutorials were helpful.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

Sometimes finding specific call moments or insights can be a bit cumbersome, especially when trying to filter by multiple criteria at once. More advanced filtering options would help to save time. In addition, with so many features and dashboards, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Simplifying the navigation or having more guided workflows for common tasks could help make it easier for new users.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Gong to gain visibility into customer conversations and deal health, identify deal risks early, and align sales teams on messaging. It captures calls so I don't rely on memory, helps avoid deal churn, and improves forecasting with shared insights.

 ### 49. Optimize Meeting Management with AI-Powered Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marion P. | Solution Deployment Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like the ease of use of Gong and how it integrates AI capabilities to find information quickly and summarize next steps efficiently. It saves me a lot of time by prewriting draft follow-up emails and helps pull relevant action items after each meeting, ensuring I don't miss anything. It also helps me be more efficient in project reporting by finding ongoing topics efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I think Gong could improve cross-referencing between emails and calls to easily identify ongoing topics, which ones are pending followup, and which have been actioned in followup emails or calls. Having a dashboard overview that automatically pulls all action items from my calls with options to mark them as completed and add notes would be great.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gong saves me time by helping with meeting follow-up emails and ensuring I don't miss any action items. It aids in reviewing topics for weekly reports and understanding context when taking over tasks from other team members.

 ### 50. Effortless Note-taking and Salesforce Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lou A. | Sales Development Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Gong?**

I like that I don't have to make notes or worry about forgetting anything during calls, which really helps me because I'm dyslexic. It makes filling out Salesforce more easily by allowing me to just say, do my MEDDPIC, and it'll do it. The setup was pretty simple, and there was lots of help on hand.

**What do you dislike about Gong?**

I struggle when trying to search a contact in the search feature. It just doesn't work for me very well sometimes, and it gets frustrating.

**What problems is Gong solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to take notes during calls, so I can focus and not miss anything. I use Gong's AI to fill in Salesforce and assist with follow-up calls, improving my performance by reviewing calls and giving progress tips.
