"Easy platform to navigate"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gainsight Customer Communities?

The platform is easy for beginners to learn. This is my first role in managing community properties, and I had little to no issues navigating the platform operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gainsight Customer Communities?

I wish there were more editing tools given to users. Users should be able to change their topic titles and correct whether it's a question or conversation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Solid Platform"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Gainsight Customer Communities?

Community is more than a platform. I have enjoyed using the Insided Product, it is now the Gainsight CC platform. Innovations have been solid, reliability good, community member experience favorable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gainsight Customer Communities?

I don't feel like I get enough information 'from' the product team on the product, especially outside of their own community. Meaning, I consume content thru things like Industry Events. The industry event is focused nearly entirely on customer stories, which are not very valuable to me. I do plan on renewing/staying however. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool with a great team behind it"
5/5
What do you like best about Gainsight Customer Communities?

Our transition from our old community provider to inSided was very painless and was helped a lot by our amazing onboarding team, especially Vish. The platform was easy to design and use and the functionalities are very straightforward. The gamification system with the badges, ranks, and leaderboard is easy to use and very effective and the platform is simple to manage from a moderation point of view. The inSided team is super reactive and the support team has been very helpful. Having access to the Inspired Community is also super helpful for asking questions and getting tips and tricks. I also love the events section and the events calendar for advertising our upcoming events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gainsight Customer Communities?

The analytics provided by the platform isn't the strongest, and it lacks some filtering options. We haven't yet implemented the Salesforce integration as it is taking some time but we are excited to see what the Gainsight integration will bring in terms of analytics. Group moderation is also an issue as you have to hold a seat to carry out most of the group functionalities (create groups, add/remove members) which is a large pain point for us. It would be amazing to be able to assign custom roles that allow employees to create and modify events and to own groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to get up and running quickly + deliver big impact"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Gainsight Customer Communities?

Very easy for a non-technical leader to implement with little dev resources required; OOTB integrations are super easy. custom pages are a big new development win! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gainsight Customer Communities?

Biggest opportunities for Gainsight to tackle are 1) better way to discover & connect with members e.g. directory 2) better user group event functionality so buying separate platforms to support isn't required Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gainsight Customer Communities?

The level of customization available requires a fair bit of time dedicated to it, so you've got to be committed to taking advantage of the entire platform and suite of tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good tool, not great"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Gainsight Customer Communities?

The platform is easy to configure and simple to use - Our customers can easily interact with one another and they enjoy the UX. It's very easy for us to gather product feedback and triage ideas with the product team through the ProductBoard integration. I appreciated the detailed onboarding checklist through Asana, that made our implementation process very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Gainsight Customer Communities?

We've had a very disappointing experience with the Digital Hub support team on numerous occasions. Lack of consistent communication, extreme delays in requested changes, and no solid resources to help with community activation. Not to mention much of their help center documentation is out of date and not helpful at all. I've found that many of the analytics dashboards are frequently buggy and don't show consistent data. Can an Insided community (especially with your community powered knowledge base) exist as a bolt on, alongside an online help centre, or for real success, does a company need to commit to the community as the online resource for customer support?
