I appreciate how Fortifi unifies billing, compliance, and customer self-service in one platform, which is incredibly valuable for our nanotech business operating across Germany and the EU. The standout feature for me is its strong built-in support for EU VAT and GDPR compliance. It automatically handles tax calculations for different European countries, maintains proper data logs, and keeps payment and customer data secure, saving us from manual compliance work and reducing legal risk. I also really value the customer self-service portal, which lets our industrial and research clients access invoices, check order status, and manage their accounts independently. This feature drastically cuts down routine administrative queries and allows our team to focus more on technical projects and client development instead of back-office tasks.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

The reporting and analytics are somewhat generic and lack customization for project-based R&D contracts and long-term material supply orders. We often need to export data to spreadsheets to match billing performance with actual production timelines, as native reporting doesn’t fully align with our manufacturing and R&D cycles. The biggest setup complexities came from balancing nanotech-industry-specific billing structures with strict EU, German VAT, and GDPR rules. Configuring those variable billing triggers, milestone tracking, and manual approval steps required extensive custom setup, as the default workflows leaned toward SaaS-style recurring billing.

**What problems is Fortifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fortifi streamlines our billing, payment processing, and VAT compliance, reducing errors and audit risks. It enhances cash flow with automated dunning, offers secure GDPR-compliant data management, and provides a self-service portal that minimizes routine inquiries, allowing us to focus on R&D.

I really appreciate how Fortifi combines enterprise-grade revenue automation with deep GDPR compliance and all-in-one functionality, which is crucial for managing the long, complex B2B sales cycles across the DACH region. The unified 360° customer and lead profile is fantastic because it pulls data from every channel into one searchable profile, eliminating the need to switch between tools. Everyone in marketing and sales sees the same real-time data, saving us hours and reducing the potential for mistakes. The native GDPR and BDSG compliance tools are indispensable for operating in Germany, providing built-in features like double opt-in and consent tracking. The visual, canvas-based journey builder lets us create complex, behavior-driven journeys tailored for B2B sales cycles without any coding, which is incredibly useful. Additionally, the powerful lead scoring and automated routing significantly improve lead quality and response time by instantly routing qualified opportunities to sales.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

The drag-and-drop email editor is functional but lacks fine-grained styling controls. Achieving fully branded, mobile-optimized layouts sometimes requires manual HTML adjustments, and dynamic content blocks are less flexible than competitors for language- or region-specific personalization across DE/AT/CH. While the email editor works fine for basic campaigns, it struggles with the branding precision, mobile responsiveness, and dynamic personalization we need for professional B2B communications in the DACH region.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

I like that Fortifi is a true all-in-one platform, combining subscription billing, CRM, payment automation, and affiliate/performance marketing into one system, which eliminates the need for multiple disjointed tools. This consolidated approach has transformed how we manage revenue operations, especially in the German and EU market. The automation Fortifi provides is genuinely deep and not just surface-level. I appreciate being able to build multi-step automations across billing, renewals, affiliate commissions, and customer notifications without relying on developers. Features like pro-rated upgrades/downgrades, automated dunning sequences, commission adjustments, and lifecycle emails work reliably out of the box, significantly reducing our finance and sales teams' manual work.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

While it handles standard billing and affiliate processes well, we often hit walls when trying to tailor it to our unique B2B workflows in Germany. Things like custom approval chains, specialized order types, or region-specific automations often require workarounds or support tickets instead of being self-service. The initial setup of Fortifi was functional but not simple—it’s definitely an enterprise-grade implementation, not a plug-and-play tool, especially for our B2B operations in Germany and the EU.

Fortifi unifies subscription billing, CRM, and affiliate marketing in one platform, reducing data errors and manual work. It ensures EU and German tax compliance, and automates billing and payment recovery, saving time and boosting revenue recovery.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

I really like that Fortifi is a genuine all-in-one platform, unifying subscription billing, payments, CRM, and compliance in one place instead of being a bunch of disconnected tools patched together. I appreciate how it reduces operational work while keeping us stable and GDPR-compliant in the German market. The automated dunning, renewal management, and invoice workflows save us hours every week and directly recover revenue we used to lose to failed payments.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

I find Fortifi's reporting and custom analytics to be somewhat rigid. We get standard metrics on revenue, churn, and payments, but building custom dashboards or digging deep into cohort analysis isn't intuitive. We often end up exporting data to analyze it properly instead of getting clear insights inside the platform. The custom report builder feels too basic. We can't easily build fully custom reports by combining customer segments, subscription plan types, billing regions, churn reasons, and marketing campaign sources. We really need a drag-and-drop custom report builder where we can pick any data field, filter it, group it, and save it as a reusable dashboard because it's limited to pre-built templates right now. Additionally, there's no real cohort analysis and retention tracking. We can't properly track things like monthly or quarterly cohorts by signup date, revenue retention by cohort, or how different plans or acquisition channels perform long-term. This is critical for subscription businesses, but Fortifi only shows overall churn rate, not breakdowns by group. Also, the initial setup of Fortifi was functional but not one of the quickest tools we’ve implemented.

Fortifi unifies subscription billing, payments, CRM, and compliance, eliminating chaos and manual errors from using separate tools. It automates renewals, reduces failed payments, and ensures GDPR compliance, directly recovering lost revenue and reducing operational work in our subscription-based business.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

I use Fortifi for Customer Relationship Management and appreciate the consolidation of all features into one platform. The centralized customer-data and accessibility to all customer interactions help us offer personalized service to our customers. I like how Fortifi provides a clear overview of all customer-related issues, manages support tickets, and lets us see data like customer interactions and concerns at a glance. The setup was very easy and smooth, and it's very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

The pricing is the only downside of Fortifi.

**What problems is Fortifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Fortifi to get a clear overview of customer issues and manage support tickets. It consolidates all customer interactions on one platform, helping us provide personalized service with centralized data.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

I like how the SLAs are configurable and that we can change them to be what we want them to and that the SLAs are set in stone with the time requirements that we need to meet.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

I dislike how there is some ease of life features that arent baked into the SLA agreements. For example if at the weekend we still had a ticket open the timer would still count down and that SLA wont be met if left for too long

I think that fortifi is trying to solve the problems with their service by being my customer active and listening to what we have to say in regards to feedback such as these serveys

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

Fortifi is great as a cloud-based platform and an all-in-one place to go for your business's needs. I really like that there are so many things built into the platform which leads to fewer integrations and charges from other vendors. The software seems like it would do a great job scaling from small businesses all the way up to larger-sized companies. Whether you only need a small set of features or every single one, the tools are there for you to be able to take advantage of. The software allows for super simple and incredibly complex tasks to be automated which is a huge time-saver. There is a free trial and a free version of the product which can help to keep costs down for those worried about breaking the bank.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

I have not had any issues with Fortifi that I would bring up here. I have not used the software for very long and from everything I have experienced first-hand I haven't noticed any issues that would need to be corrected or fixed. This is a testament to how well the company thought out this offering.

**Recommendations to others considering Fortifi:**

Just like any other software you are considering buying, make sure to do your due diligence and homework to ensure this product is the right one for your needs. It always helps when a company provides a free or lite version of their products for users to "try before you buy" so that way it's apparent whether or not it is worth exploring or not.

**What problems is Fortifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to solve quite a few different issues with Forifi simply because it offers so many different things. Live Chat is a huge market and one that we are constantly looking to improve. Since our marketing is done in-house it has been great to see what the software is capable of.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

What is most helpful about Fortifi is that the application is very much easy to use. The software allows persons to have all in one feature where one can integrate other applications into it. You are able to have phone, email and live chat conversations with customers using the application.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

What I dislike about Fortifi is that at times the application can move extremely slow especially when trying to load certain data. This can of course be annoying. Also, the application tends to break down at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Fortifi:**

I recommend this application to everyone who wants to have one software where they are able to do everything they need for their business. The application si easy to use and works wonders. Apart from the few setbacks of the application, great things are ahead for this software.

**What problems is Fortifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that Fortifi is solving that of being an all in one software where one is able to bill customers, keep customers' data and also, be able to connect with customers via (Live chat, phone conversations, and/or email) This is an awesome tool and a great feature of the application.  I would recommend this application is every business.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

Fortifi is an easy to use platform. Everything is on one platform. You are to access customers' accounts while on a live interaction using the one system. They also have ticket servics

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

I cannot confirm if this is the case for everyone but you are not able to complete outcome calls. You are however able to complete outbound tickets. It also crashes a few times

Managing all of your customers information in one space is very convenient. It is very user friendly as well.

It's an amazing system that can cover multiple needs depending on which you're requiring, it can make it way easier to do them all thanks to the user-friendly platform that you are able to use.

In my opinion just the price that can be a little high but depending on each one needs compared to other systems that are similar it can be either good or bad for them.

The UI and the inbuilt features provided and the easy to use interface without hassle is the best thing I would say, even a non techie would be able to utilise it easily.

The billing interface can be upgraded with some more interactive and easy-to-use UI so that it would be easy for nontech guys to easily generate bills and handle their work easily.

What I like best is that I am able to manage customers' details all in one place, it is very much organized and very much user friendly. The software undergoes regular updates which means that as the developers see anything that needs updates no need to worry because trust me they will get it done.

What I dislike about this application is that even though it undergoes frequent updates, it tends to break down quite often and when this happens it affects not only the customers but also the clients who use the application.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

Before we were using Fortifi, we were trying to track support emails and issues raised with Excel sheets and internal communication methods, which became unmanageable and ineffective. Having tickets automatically created in Fortifi when somebody contacts our support email address now means that everything is easily recorded and tracked, with none of our clients ever accidentally not being replied to. 
The use of ‘canned responses’ for typical resolutions and checks that we can provide our clients also means that our support staff can contact and resolve our client’s issues much more efficiently. By using Fortifi, we have been able to further enhance our support service and maintain excellent feedback from our clients. 
 
The Knowledge Base has become a stand out feature of our business and is loved by our growing amount of users around the globe. We are able to easily create sections and articles with a mix of text, image and video content that has enhanced our user’s learning journey and increased the speed at which they are able to fully utilise everything our products have to offer. As our products regularly evolve, being able to update our existing content and add more has meant that our Knowledge Base has increased in size. The search tool in the Knowledge Base really comes into power by quickly taking our users to the content they need, but importantly, guiding them to the related content that they didn’t realise they needed until the Knowledge Base told them!

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

There are a huge amount of features available, but I don't use them all currently and i'm sure I could benefit from using more.

**Recommendations to others considering Fortifi:**

Spend time working with the team on integrations and best use of Fortifi, as you will get a lot more out of it.

**What problems is Fortifi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our support processes have been majorly enhanced through using Fortifi. Our customer satisfaction reports have improved and we are better able to track any issues that we need to resolve in our solutions.

**What do you like best about Fortifi?**

As an Affiliate Manager, i was constantly being requested to change our Affiliate back end, and since switching to Fortifi, my life has become 10X easier - Information from an Advertiser perspective as well as from the affiliates end is fantastic. 10/10 on the support front also.

**What do you dislike about Fortifi?**

Lac of ability to do Rev Share payouts currently

Take the plunge, especially if affiliate traffic is a big deal for your organization

i am able to provide faster and mre prevcise information to my affiliates. I am also able to understand the traffic coming in, and recognizing patterns and potential fraud.
