Running our Take Charge Community for Me And My Golf, I found Facebook Groups to be efficient and surprisingly powerful for building connections. With over 8,100 members, it was easy to engage, share updates, and support each other. The group features worked well for managing discussions and keeping everyone involved, and the overall reach made it simple to get messages out to a large audience quickly. One challenge is that not everyone wants to use Facebook nowadays. I’ve noticed that some potential members are put off by the platform itself. Also, over the past few years, I’ve seen post reach and engagement decline, which makes it harder to connect with the whole group—even when the content feels relevant.
