## Facebook Groups Reviews
  ### 1. Great way to build a community!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Director Of Marketing And Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I love that I can continue to develop my online community, stay connected, and provide and allow feedback. Our online community continues to grow, and Facebook Groups continue to be a wonderful effective way to communicate with one another.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I'd like to be able to sort my conversations into groups so we can work on multiple tasks at one time. Conversations can get lost in the weeds at times. I seem to get a lot of spam messages that are trying to fish for my password, so that's frustrating.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

What if you do nothing? Try it! You have nothing to lose and I feel strongly that you will like it and find it a useful tool.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication is key, I help run a group for a local theater company and Facebook Groups has played a big part on helping us organize and come together to work on projects in the community.

  ### 2. An Awesome Way to Catch Up With People

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaston D. | Mentor/Volunteer/Researcher/Creator, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Being able to connect instantly with other locals is really great. I’ve used the groups for locals, my university activities, and different clubs. Compared to other platforms, it creates an immediate sense of verification and trust through the group setup. The pricing feels affordable, and it’s also nice to see a platform using AI and intelligence to keep improving the overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Depending on the group, crime is something you have to be wary of when you’re in a bigger city. Beyond the realism of pretty much any platform nowadays, the discussions and shared files are helpful when interacting with group members.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to see what’s going on with local businesses and people in the area is great. Before, it was a bit difficult and not as fast. The onboarding process was relatively quick for me, and since I’ve had my profile for a long time now, it’s been fun to watch how far the platform has come and how widely it’s integrated over the years.

Centralized navigation and pinning help a lot, and I can’t forget dark mode as well. The upscaling is also a plus, the push notifications are always on point, and the in-group search is fun to use when looking back through older convos.

  ### 3. Great for Connecting with People and Building Community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joanne P. | Communications manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

It lets me communicate with different people, or even connect around specific things I can’t easily find online, while also building a community at the same time.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Sometimes it’s hard to find specific groups. I also try to check whether the people in a group are actually active, and when they’re not, it doesn’t feel worthwhile to stay involved. I would love for Facebook to give some kind of notice about who is being active in a group so the group can remain active and there can be more engagement.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick answers to certain things that I probably wouldn’t have found by Googling or searching online, coming from people with real experience.

  ### 4. Facebook Groups Build a Strong Sense of Community

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelo C. | Economist| Jungian Psychotherapy Specialist | Multidisciplinary Content Creator | Applied AI Management Specialist, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups help bring people together around an idea, a place, or a trend. The main advantage is that they create a sense of community around the initiative and make it easier for people to connect with one another.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

It’s hard to tell the difference between authentic and inauthentic people, and moderation takes effort as well.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The groups let me do territorial marketing by offering services that are genuinely useful to that community.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Sometimes the topics stray from the intended target.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selling unwanted items, which clears up space in my home, and brings in additional income is one. Asking questions for locals about hosting social engagements, or just gaining advice from people in similar circumstances.

  ### 6. Facebook Groups gave our community a home, but reach has limits

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul B. | Customer Experience Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Running our Take Charge Community for Me And My Golf, I found Facebook Groups to be efficient and surprisingly powerful for building connections. With over 8,100 members, it was easy to engage, share updates, and support each other. The group features worked well for managing discussions and keeping everyone involved, and the overall reach made it simple to get messages out to a large audience quickly.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

One challenge is that not everyone wants to use Facebook nowadays. I’ve noticed that some potential members are put off by the platform itself. Also, over the past few years, I’ve seen post reach and engagement decline, which makes it harder to connect with the whole group—even when the content feels relevant.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It let us gave our community a central place to gather, communicate, and share experiences. Managing events, conversations, and updates became far more efficient, and it’s helped us keep our members connected, even if not everyone loves being on Facebook.

  ### 7. Great for Selling, But Group Quality Varies

I really appreciate how Facebook Groups facilitate selling things quickly and effectively. The platform enables a rapid transition from seeking financial support to generating substantial income. I find that the setup process of Facebook Groups is impressively easy, allowing me to manage multiple groups effortlessly over the years. Additionally, the user-friendly nature of the platform enhances my ability to reach out and connect with others seamlessly, which is invaluable for both personal and business interactions.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I find that some Facebook Groups really don't meet my expectations, which can be frustrating. Additionally, dealing with certain group owners can be difficult, and I wish there were better leadership within some groups. It's important for there to be better administration or selection of group moderators or owners to improve the overall experience.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Facebook Groups to sell things faster and connect with people, enhancing my ability to generate income effectively.

Facebook Groups allows us to reach a large audience, to provide information, interact and ask for feedback. Facebook is a platform that is familiar to people and widely used.

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

FFacebookGroups are a great way to connect and reach the maximum number of people from different demographics.
I found many groups of like-minded people and shared my content with relevant audiences. Not many competitors offer this. I have joined more than 200 groups and it is terrific. Recently I worked on an Indonesian project and the Indonesian FB groups helped me to reach my target audience so easily and market my brand.
I have upscaled my business and services through groups. More people reached out to me through these groups, and I gained great visibility. I use it at least twice a week.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Some harsh group rules. It is working well. No, the group is well enough. It grows slowly but in the end very useful. It is already good. Groups are recommended to the audience. There is spam also found in some groups that can be fraud and risky.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me reach more people, a wider audience in one go. Getting responses from more people from groups. Yes more productive and increases my awareness. Yes increased reach and popularity. The Facebook groups have expanded my reach in different industries of different regions all across the world.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya J. | Summer Intern, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

None so far because this app is so well developed.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This app has provided a very good platform for users to interact with each other with the help of community groups that they are a part of. Earlier, there were very limited and subscription based platforms but with the launching of this app people can easily collaborate with the like-minded persons within various groups. It has helped me to grow my network and reach out to people and educators for various educational purposes.

  ### 16. Facebook Groups creating spaces for likeminded individuals.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Callum B. | Marketing Executive, Hospitality, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook Groups are an excellent means of joining small or large communities on Facebook, comprised of likeminded individuals with similar interests. Facebook Groups are incredibly easy-to-use, and provide me with regular notifications relating to activity from the groups I've joined; allowing me to keep up-to-date with posts. I tend to view these groups on a weekly basis.

Within the music groups I have joined, the participants frequently come together to discuss upcoming shows, venues and music from various artists within their region. The types of posts shared in these groups range from updates, to events and general discussions. This is helpful, as there are occassions where I may have missed announcements from the artist themselves, and will later be informed via my Facebook Groups. Therefore, being in these groups acts as a frequent reminder, as well as providing a sense of community.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Within Facebook Groups, there may be individuals that spam the group with unnecessary messages and information. This has occured when rules have not been explicitly implemented or put-in-place for the entirety of the group. Unfortunately, when this happens, it can defeat the purpose of the groups, and may cause disagreements to occur amongst the participants.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups are a great way to connect with likeminded individuals, and they act as somewhat of a forum to discuss shared interests. Some of these groups of which can be niche, and are excellent for sharing information and having group discussions.

Being part of music related groups, I regularly hear from others about upcoming concert dates, venues, and new music releases - which is excellent as someone who is fond of music, and allows for me to follow the happenings of the industry.

  ### 17. Groups Keeps Up

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I love being able to moderate and create a place where our interests are alike.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Can't monetize them, that I know of anyways. Overall, that is all I can say that is negative.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

It's a cost free way to grow your brand, or showcase anything you'd like. Perfect to grow a "base".

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization has improved, it helps to keep things grouped together. I am also able to create content and share it with all the people who are interested in my work.

  ### 18. GREAT PLACE TO HAVE FACEBOOK FRIENDS OVER

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorelei M. | Founder, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

THEY CAN BE PRIVATE AND SECURE AND YOU CAN INVITE PEOPLE AND SCREEN THEM BEFORE YOU LET THEM IN.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

PAGES CAN'T JOIN GROUPS WHICH IS COMPLETELY UNFAIR.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

IT ALLOWS ME TO JOIN A GROUP WITH MY AUTISTIC SON AND KEEP TRACK OF THE PEOPLE THERE THAT MIGHT WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF HIS KINDNESS. ANOTHER REASON IS TO JOIN COMMUNITIES THAT MIGHT BE POSTING INFO I COULD LEARN FROM.

  ### 19. The only reason I still use Facebook! Priority Notifications Keep You In the Loop!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren A. | Director of Marketing, Non-Profit Organization Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook Groups are a wonderful way yo connect and build community that retains engagement! Unlike Facebook as a while, the Facebook Groups offer a small and intimate closed environment where you can stay notified of updates and posts. They keep you coming back!

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Sometimes there is a difficult and hidden approval process to join certain groups. Being closed from any communication, you really have to wait and be at the liberty of the group admin to be Approved to join the group. The problem is, some admins are not as involved and may not approve people often so you can get tired of waiting to be let in. However, my groups have awesome admins who are on top of new members.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Feeling like we can have an intimate corner of Facebook that is a very active and engaged group, with no spammers. I like the privacy and the close-knit interactions.

  ### 20. Facebook Groups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danea K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I like the Facebook groups feature as it allows you to connect with certain individuals alike with a business or the same interests that you may share. Creating a group allows you to market any upcoming events, ideas, general communication, and discussion on particular topics of interest.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Depending on the many groups you may create it can become time-consuming to manage them all without a paid individual to manage or volunteer to engage with posts, posing, etc.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Marketing it's a great asset to have as you can simply share the group on any platform to engage the interest of others who may be interested in joining nad share from their initial joining the group(s) you crate that you are not able to reach with just a simple post on a wall as well obtaining a wider audience in what you need.

  ### 21. Great Platform for Socializing and Skill Building - Together!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richa S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The plethora of options for every category across Facebook Groups is my favorite part of the platform. One can choose which type of group they want to join within a category based on their needs and requirements. A wonderful way to connect with like-minded folks from across the globe and learn from all. Also, a great platform to showcase your work and get honest feedback.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Privacy is a concern for me on Facebook groups as it is mainly an entertainment social media platform. Another downside is dead groups, despite having a huge number of members the groups are dead or just used for random promotions. Lastly, despite adding the guidelines many members tend to ignore them and indulge in unnecessary actions such as online violence and spamming.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups is helping me understand the global market and mindset better to incorporate in my professional career. Being able to connect with users from across the globe opens up many new learning opportunities and growth paths. I have also joined groups that are not a part of my professional skillset to learn them and be able to use them in my day-to-day activities.

  ### 22. Perfect for building a Marketing Community

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I like Facebook Groups ability to consolidate users and build a community for a niche.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The reach when posting is too low, and posts need to show in all newsfeeds.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups solves the problem of disparate members of a community and allows them to come together in one friendly space.

  ### 23. Facebook Groups Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine M. | Quantity Surveyor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook Groups is a feature of Facebook that allows me to join groups depending on the topic or interests. Through this feature, I can easily converse with other people with the same interest.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The thing that I dislike is not about the feature but the people who join Facebook group and violates the rules. Luckily, admins can set rules to manage groups and monitor those who violate the rules of the Facebook group.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups helps me to easily seek other people's opinion regarding a topic that I find hard to decide on. It allows me to join a community of people with the same interests or goals. For example, I can do business like buying & selling products online through a group on Facebook.

  ### 24. The best platform to build communities!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon P. | Web designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I use it to connect with like-minded people and build communities around shared interests, hobbies, or causes.

I love the convenience and ease of use and the wide range of tools and features to stay organized and engaged, such as creating events, polls, and discussions.

I love the range of privacy and security settings that can be customized to meet the group's needs. This allows groups to maintain a sense of community while ensuring members feel safe and comfortable sharing their thoughts and ideas.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Certains times there is a potential for misinformation, harassment, and abuse within groups. While Facebook does have policies in place to moderate content and remove groups that violate their community standards, I know it can be difficult to police every group and ensure that all members are behaving appropriately.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to build meaningful relationships and connections with others who they may not have met otherwise, leading to a sense of belonging and community, creating a space for open discussion and sharing of ideas and providing a convenient and accessible platform.

  ### 25. Effective way to reach people

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manie v. | Administrative Clerk, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups is a nice way to reach people and to let them know what you are doing and about upcomming events etc. It is easy to schedule videos & place posts and it is also nice to pin an important post to the top.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

With the growing technological platforms Facebook Groups is not longer the go to for the younger generation as Facebook is seen as the platform for elderly people...

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is not about problem solving but assistance is given in reaching people.

  ### 26. Great place to showcase your expertise to potential clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I love that I can answer questions that position me as the expert in my own group. I can do live streams and create incredible value-added posts that attract clients.

We can set up rules and various automations which are very helpful to manage the group, as well as set up member questions which enable us to collect email addresses from new group members.

Facebook Groups also allow us to see insights and trends within the group, allowing us to repurpose popular content and highlight the top contributing members. We are also allowed badges that highlight my team and I as Group Experts, admins and moderators of the group.

Lately, the @everyone tag has been incredibly helpful at creating engagement in the groups once more.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

We really wish that our posts would not be subjected so much to the FB display algorithm. As admins of the group, FB should at least give our videos and posts higher priority. We find that organic exposure is tougher than ever in 2023. Also, FB should let us target the members in our group with ads, as well as let our group be promoted in ads.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a great direct source of sales for our business. It lets us interact with many potential clients both at a personal and community level. We're not just an email to them, we're replying to their comments, liking their posts and showing them our faces and expertise on video. It's a great way to get multiple touchpoints in before our members decide to hire us and become an actual paying client.

  ### 27. I love Facebook groups and it's diversity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary "Cathy" A. | Dietitian Consultant🌮 | Marketing Expert | Business Development✨ Freelancer/Contractor/Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

It is easy to find new groups and you can create your own groups focused on your company or your interests

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I don't like the crazy screening questions that they have when you join in some cases and I also don't like the people who like to argue on these sites over nothing.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy way to meet others with similar intersts

  ### 28. The most useful Facebook feature

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

As someone who rarely like anything related to Facebook, Facebook Groups is an exception.
The way group members can communicate within the group is intuitive and easy for everybody to use.
Maybe Facebook Groups is the best way for community communication.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

To be honest, I dislike that Facebook Groups are associated with Facebook.
And I hope one day we can use them without having a Facebook account.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When you try to communicate with multiple people or a community, Facebook Groups is my one stop shop.

  ### 29. Great for catering your feed with what interests you!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan O. | Marketing Manager / AR , Wholesale, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

What I like most is that my feed is full of posts / content from the groups I am a part of rather than promotional content /content I don't engage with. When you are involved in a group (or several) your social media content is catered more towards your interests!

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Not Facebook's fault but, with large gatherings of people, there tends to be drama! I think the addition of silencing a user is great for admins & the group/community!

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook groups allows us to stay up to date with community events along with promoting ourselves & our services to a demographic. It's also great for networking with those with common interests!

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

One of the most valuable benefits of Facebook Groups is that they provide a space for individuals to share knowledge and resources. A group dedicated to cooking might have members who share recipes, cooking tips, and restaurant recommendations. I like that feature the best because it is a great way to target a specific audience.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The least helpful limitation of Facebook Groups is that they can be time-consuming to manage. Group admins need to monitor the group, moderate discussions, and ensure that the group remains a positive and respectful space. Addressing the group can be time-consuming and takes away time that could be used marketing to the group.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups is a valuable tool for users who want to connect with others and share information and resources, which is great when used to market to potential customers. Facebook Groups benefit me by allowing a space where like-minded users with similar entrest can be found and engaged. This is a great benefit when marketing a product or service. This feature allows me to speak directly with customers who are already interested in a particular product or service.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

It seems to me that it is fine for what it is used for, I think that I would not change anything. I like it because I can customize everything and also check quickly from my cell phone.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

It is a solution that can really be very beneficial if you want to create a community.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

  ### 34. Zuck is taking the privacy and fun out of groups.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Troika C. | Independent Ambassador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I like the availability of having a large quantity of like-minded persons in 1 location for ease of discussion and sharing of ideas and information. Being able to come and go at my leisure and still catch up on things going on within the group is nice.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I dislike the fact that within a private group, you are still constantly watched and flagged by bots who have no idea what "context" is and having to constantly appeal a decision to get posts and comments put back is a hassle. I also dislike that there seems to be no actual privacy anymore. Whether within the groups or within the group chats/video calls your privacy is still infiltrated and you still get flagged and disciplined and have to go through hoops to get things turned back on. Things that are not against community standards will get flagged from years back because they made a new rule up today. It's just a lot of hassle, but without a better platform to turn to, as most people are on FB these days, it is hard to get away from, so you just lessen your activities and don't talk as much as you want to. Instead you get bombarded by their "sponsored" ads which are mostly spam and scams. And the amount of misinformation that floats around is disgusting. Great way to push individuals apart in a hateful world.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me to be able to work with a large group of like-minded people at the same time without having to send out separate messages or individual posts. This way, I can update information on my business on one platform and share it with another to keep things in sync/updated. It's nice to engage with your clients in real time. Also allows me to update my clients immediately if any issues or postponements arise.

Facebook Groups allows businesses to find, build, and engage in community with their users/customers/clients. Depending on the demographic, it meets them right where they already are (spending time on Facebook).

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook itself isn't always the most intuitive for businesses/pages/groups to use, but it gets the job done. While a younger crowd might enjoy Discord or Slack for community, Facebook is ideal for an older crowd.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups allows our company to communicate with users in an additional channel (along with emails, main social media posts, in-app pop-ups, etc.). It also provides a private forum for our users to discuss the industry, the software, and more.

There are multiple groups for one topic. For example, I use it to travel to Spain, but there are dozens of Spain travel groups, sometimes you can join the main one but its hard when some topics have so many groups

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Read the group rules set by the admin to help get the best out of the groups you are in and be mindful about making a new group when so many might exist for the same topic

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im finding useful information that is hard to find on Google or special information. It's beneficial to be able to chat with those that are interested in the topic of the group such as town group, club groups, etc.

The best thing that Facebook groups offer is the ability to do all this online and without personally knowing the people. The best tool that they have is the ability to share files and images with other users and interact with them. Facebook groups are really unique in their nature as a unique publicly accessible tool.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Using Facebook groups for your business or community is great but there need to be strict rules on posting and the type of content members are allowed to post. Facebook groups can be used to monetize products through the marketplace, however, it’s not as well integrated into your business as Instagram is.

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups helps to build a community to share thoughts and information and keep updated on events or programs and much more.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

If a group is closed and secured, it is always on the admin side to see and get the things approved and published, it bothers me when I was an admin. There should be an automation in the effective process in posts approval and content. If the group is not closed and secured , there's is no check on the content. Any member of the group can post anything, there's need to be a check on the content in this scenario as well.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building community, file sharing and keeping things posted for an event and building poll votes.

  ### 46. Facebook Groups - One of the effective and easiest way to reach the clients.

d. Relevant information in the relevant groups.
e.Member badges feature.
f. Post-screening.
g.Post scheduling.
h.Group insight management
i. The rule set up for the groups etc.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups are always giving me positive results. It could have been better if there was any feature that could help to delete the membership of more than one person at a time.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Facebook Groups is the best and primarily effective in reaching the clients socially. It helps the group admins and owners to educate more specifically about the products and services. This platform will ensure your brand awareness and find honest time feedback. Interaction is a plus in this platform.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook groups are helping me to reach prospective & existing clients in terms of educating them about the product information and features. The clients provide feedback about the services and products in the group which helps the prospective customers to learn about the company. We are happily using the Facebook groups and getting tremendous responses from the customers, and creating greater brand awareness.

  ### 47. Increases our brand's reach, visibility & organic traffic by engaging with relevant Facebook Groups

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vijeta C. | Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

It has helped us increase our brand awareness, connect with our customers & prospects and keep them updated with the content they can resonate with. We have got the advantage of increased organic traffic on our website and other social media pages. We have a better avenue to engage directly with our target audience and keep them informed about new products, features, industry rewards, industry events, and technological innovations that we are achieving. We also use Facebook groups to answer the queries of our prospects and clients in a more transparent way. It has helped us to build a stronger relationship with the community and win their confidence while also being seen in a good light by industry thought leaders and influencers.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

It's very time-consuming, and many people spam these Groups by posting irrelevant content and advertisements. It requires manual scanning through the content of different Facebook groups and also at times group admin takes unduly high time to review our posts and then publish them after a full evaluation. If this all can be automated, it will become more speedy to get better benefits from Facebook Groups.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Facebook Groups require the regular posting of relevant & insightful content for the Group Members. The Group Admin holds the right to eliminate you if they feel that you're spamming the Group Members. So it's in your interest to follow the terms & conditions as laid down by the Group Admin and keep posting only intriguing content for the benefit of the members.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're improving our brand awareness, posting regularly about our products, technology, business philosophy, new features, market updates, etc., to keep our audience interested and actively engaged with us. We have got better organic traffic and engagement from our TG after regularly joining and posting into relevant Facebook Groups.

  ### 48. I recommend companies/businesses to use Facebook Groups for business development and promotion.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mystia D. | Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook Group offers me the opportunity to reach a large number of potential customers. When using it, I can build communities of potential customers, exploit it as a place to take care of customers, offer promotions, expand target customer files. In addition, Facebook Group also helps me:
- Expand business and working relationships.
- Seek relationships that are conducive to self-development.
- Widely promote services and products.
- Take care of loyal customers.
- Convert from cold customer to hot customer.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I feel that a disadvantage of Facebook Groups is that they can easily become toxic when users violate policies. And sometimes, Facebook groups with a large reach dilute the potential customer base and require us to have additional filtering funnels to identify those who genuinely need the service.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

If you are looking for a place to reach and take care of your potential customers, then Facebook Group is a useful solution worth trying.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I once had a need to sell business courses for middle managers at the enterprise. Thanks to Facebook groups, I created a group of employees who share the same interest in human resource management skills and middle management. After creating that group, I started posting articles, sharing experiences, and making sales. From the people who joined the group, we gradually gained customers. I feel this is a place where businesses should invest their time and money.

1. Being connected to a group shows how consumers are interested in your offerings.
2. If the group is of a particular category there is a healthy competitive market.
