Meetup is an excellent service for creating a network, making friends and discovering new activities in the City. There is nothing to dislike about Meetup. The only thing that should be improved it its user interface. The website's user interface seems a bit old. Else everything is perfect. Meetup makes it easy to manage a community of people: a straightforward event scheduler that suits both free or paying meetings, a messaging system that allows the manager to contact one of the members, or everyone at the same time, an essential forum, to share discussions within the group. Recommendations to others considering Meetup Pro: It's a straightforward platform to manage offline and online groups that want to keep a regular schedule of meetings. It has event scheduling tools, messaging tools, contact systems, and a forum board. The board seems a bit old-fashioned to me, but it does its job anyway. I use it for a WordPress Meetup in my city. When the pandemic began, we couldn't have in-person gatherings anymore, but Meetup continued to be very useful to organize and manage our online events. It has a feature that allows you to insert a link for a video conference. Only people willing to attend the meeting will receive it, and they need to send a positive RSVP, so you, as an organizer, are sure that only the people who have been invited and are part of the group will attend.
