## Facebook Groups Reviews
 ### 1. Fastest growing platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oshita V. | Q, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The best thing about Facebook groups are that we can join as many as groups we are interested for and there are no limitations. We can post our advertisements/job ads etc in the groups and can awesome responses.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The only one thing I dislikes is that, it does not allows to leave all the group at a time. If want to leave some groups, we need to leave it one by one. According to me, I think they should add a feature such as select all the groups or else filter the groups and leave at a time. Also one limitation is that there are some groups where we need to send requests, however we are unsure that the admin will accept the request or will allow us to post in that group.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run an feeelancing business of hr consultancy, Facebook group has provided many benefits such as I can directly post my job advertisement in group and can get awesome responses from there.

 ### 2. Was great once now not so good.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit M. | Head Of Digital Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Information sharing and you can promote your stuff in the groups and get some suggestions and sales done. Another great thing about the group is the networking opportunity they present.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Information sharing is great but now as the user profiles are going down the drain (people are hopping on to other platforms) is information is getting redundant and has lower quality.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Once a great feature now is getting lackluster due to people associated with the groups. Still, great groups are available on the platform which are awesome if you know how to utilise the same.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Networking and information sharing from peers are great benefits from Facebook groups. Also, you can test out your product or service in terms of reception by Audiences is also a great added advantage. Customer review and sales can also be driven by using groups.

 ### 3. Great platform to share any information to a larger target audience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** HARISH R. | Company Owner, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The best thing about facebook groups is that it helps to circulate your post or any information about your product or business to more target audience.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Many groups are private or the admins reject the posts.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me to share my content or marketing posts to more people or target audience.

 ### 4. Facebook Groups is an easier way to market than Facebook Pages

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simeon S. | Financial Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I know there are a lot of social media sites available today. Facebook has been one of my favorites that I've always stuck with. Facebook Pages hardly appear in anyone's newsfeed. Still, with Facebook Groups it will appear in more newsfeeds and provides a direct way to reach an audience specific to the product or service that you offer. I also like that you can put live videos within these groups. You can also make these groups private or open to the public. You can pin important posts to the top, create challenges for members of the group, and engage through posting content that can lead to sales or just a closer following with your brand.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Although it appears in your followers' newsfeeds much better than Facebook Pages and without having to spend money to advertise getting it there, it still gets suppressed in the newsfeeds compared to other posts.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

It is a great way to market to an audience of people that are already enjoying facebook as a social media platform. It is great to provide content and value to potential customers/clients/prospects. It is free and has no cost. There are no guarantees that it will reach your target market and you might have to pay to advertise the group to get people into it to get it going because it is hard to get members organically unless you have an established platform already.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can gather a following to my brand that I can "drip" posts towards that might lead to future clients. I can provide valuable content to the group that shows prospects what it would be like to work with me.

 ### 5. Big or Small - Great Place for Your Online Social Community!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick F. | Dir. of Field Ops & Client Success - Americas, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The overall reach that Facebook Groups offers is MASSIVE! There are plenty of opportunities to join releavant public groups and/or be invited to closed groups. This is particularly helpful when wanting to engage with a potential customer audience to see who might just be "window shopping" vs. who is more serious about evaluating your solution. The best parts of Facebook groups include the Notifications to Members, Hold a "Watch Party" AND Scheduled Posts are very helpful too!

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The thing that I dislike the most is the typical QUALITY of engagement. While the REACH / QUANTITY of folks here is awesome... the quality is a much lower attractiveness facto than other Groups like (MeetUps or LinkedIn Groups)...

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Definitely use this tool... BUT, be mindful of the quality of folks you may attract.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the challenge of extending our North American brand presence. This tool is very much helping us to extend Brand Awareness in the USA + Canada! We have realized that there is a decent sized community on FB that is interested in our open source tech!

 ### 6. Great Resource

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley R. | Recall + Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I love how you can use these groups to connect with anyone. It helps grow your business, create a brand, a resource or a place to connect with others. It's great when the admins enforce the guidelines as well. The groups are super helpful when you need help with something or recommendations and reach out and you get a flood of info.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I don't like that some can get negative within the group and the rules aren't always enforced. Some bullying can happen within the groups so you have to be careful.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Growing my business and connecting with the community. I also can help others myself and not just receive help. Creating a brand using these groups is awesome.

 ### 7. Good way to share ideas

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yousef L. | IT Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I like the way FB groups are created; once you have the purpose of a group to discuss something or to share information about something with people having the same interest, you can make the group public or private or even a secret group to keep your privacy as needed.
You can control the group's membership by making it automatic or having some questions for new members to authenticate and then accept their membership.
The insight tools give you robust reporting and monitoring for the group posts and membership.
You can make it commercial, and it will act as a simple market for selling products or for the members to post about their items to sell online.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I don't like when you make your group secret or private while you have more than 250 contacts; you cannot get it back open to the public.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

having all people sharing my interest regarding something in the same place to share ideas and thoughts with them and comment on it for free.

 ### 8. Useful tool to grow a community, utilize for market research, and more.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judit M. | O, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Admins have a lot of control over the group, from approving candidates, approving posts, using qualifying questions, receiving notifications about new posts, and more. Also the ability to search topics within the group, search past posts from an individual, and make new friends or business contacts, via friends requests. Fb provides a lot of info for its users, for example, I can look at someone's profile and generally determine if he/she is a Foodie, likes hiking and Ect. It is easy to receive a general view of a person's interests based on what they post. And of course, the ability to connect instantly via Messanger, in a text chat, voice or video call. That's a lot of useful tools in one place, and it's free. Also, most people who are on Facebook, check their fb notifications so the response time is a day or less when you're interacting with someone.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

It can be very time-consuming because A. you could get sidetracked and B. there are a lot of distractions. It's easy to get distracted on the general news feed or within the group, the feed periodically refreshes so if you haven't finished what you were doing, you might have to go back and start again. Lots of Ads, currently every 2-3 posts on the news feed is an Ad. Not that it's a bad thing, they aren't intrusive but it's a distraction. And built-in distractions seem to be part of Fb's business model. And the more the merrier. The Users HAVE NO Say about the FB interface or the user experience.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Problems: It's a direct link to my community so I can speak with them quickly and in a very personalized experience.
-My clients post questions (they are learning a language) so I know they have encountered that problem in real-time and I can solve it for them as fast as possible. So again the time element is very strong here.
-Sometimes I don't have time to be present on FB 24/7 (which of course no one should be) so someone else
from the group will answer a posted question. The power of the community.

-Benefits: It's a great platform to conduct market research. You gather the info or simply ask, your target audience. You either created your own group or joined relevant groups to the product/ service you're selling.
-The ability to create my own groups, and invite people to interact with me there, provides a lot of control because it's my ecosystem, and I create the rules there. I or we, as a community, can set the tone of this group.
- I have made a ton of useful contacts and sales from being in fb groups. I even have two of my own. I can lunch new products there, generate leads, generate sales calls, and receive recommendations for other products, services, and would-be customers, from the people inside the group.

 ### 10. Like minded People Together!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The best thing i like about facebook groups is the closed groups. Closed group is a type of facebook group which allows only allowed persons to join the group. In closed groups, you have to request the group in order to join it. We can also ask questions to the user while sending the joining request. An admin or moderator will approve your joining request.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

One thing i dont like about facebook groups is that it doesn't appear in search results when we search it on google. The other thing that i dont like is in closed groups, unless an admin approves your joining request, you won't be allowed to join the group. This means that admins should be active in the group.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using facebook groups, i have created a group called Trekking. In which i and other users post about trekking related activties that we perform on every weekend. We have added only those users who are interested in trekking. Those users who are interested in trekking and wants to join our group have to answer few questions that we ask before joining the group. If the answers match with our set standards then we add that person in the group.

 ### 11. Facebook Groups are a space for your customers to naturally share the love

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manoharan R. | Management Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

My favourite part about Facebook groups is that they allow you to help your customers better. Instead of just a company that has a product, you are a company that has a solution. And your customers are able to gather around you and help each other with the product or service you are providing.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

What I don't like about Facebook groups is the fact that Facebook seems to hide the majority of the posts that I and the members make to the group. I don't know what the algorithm is, but it seems like it hides most of the posts that I make to my groups.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love how Facebook Groups are a space for your customers to naturally share the love if they are happy with your product or service. It allows your business to have the chance to show what you are working on, get feedback, and improve on it.

 ### 12. Facebook groups can be great for your needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney B. | Multimedia Marketing Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups are a wonderful place for multiple people to connect under one theme or topic of interest. Members can interact with each other or read through the posts of other members to gain more knowledge within the group.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The photo albums, since one of the recent updates over the past year, have been really janky. You used to be able to create albums and move them around and reorder them and it doesn't work like that anymore. They are less user-friendly in their current state. Hopefully, there will be a new update soon to fix this.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been able to connect with 400+ women with similar interests to discuss the needs of our community. We help each other out, bounce ideas off of each other, and act as a support group when necessary. This is a great use for a Facebook group.

 ### 13. A great community tool for mass usage.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mithil P. | Growth Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The best thing about using Facebook's platform for community building is the mass reach and usage it has among consumers. No other organic platform has been as effective in terms of the volume of community engagements. Facebook as a social media platform has a tremendous awareness and reach for its users and this is especially beneficial for us to build a consumer community on.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The thing I dislike about the soltuion is that over time the brand has put priority to marketers and community admins who put paid spending to boost their groups to reach users whereas earlier it was more organic and native to the solution. Earlier it was easy to build and grow a community group instantly when the product was new. But now the priority is given by the algorithm in terms of reach if you put some spend behind your group. I do not like this factor when it comes to this product in particular.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

I would highly recommend Facebook groups for anyone who is getting started to build and grow a community and does not have a lot of budgets to put behind the efforts. It is extremely easy to set up and manage. Integrations with your other ad campaigns is also a plus point. This is a great community tool for mass usage.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the solution to build and grow our online community. I also use the tool often for announcements and getting more engagements out of my fans. This is really beneficial for us as the brand has a limited marketing budget. As of now, my use case is limited to engagements and announcements but I am eager to use it to benefit our sales as well.

 ### 14. Meeting the community where they are at - Facebook Groups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annie V. | Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I'm in at least 100 Facebook Groups and help manage about ten groups as an administrator. I like that communities are built around specific topics—for example, a certain type of cuisine or a neighborhood. Most people feel comfortable using Facebook and it is an accessible way to reach a large community. From a marketing perspective, you can connect with fans who want to stay "in the know" about your brand or product. It's a free vehicle to grow loyalty and also get feedback from your audiences.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The downside of Facebook Groups is the negative association to Facebook. Unfortunately, Facebook is under fire for many reasons (transparency, privacy, politics, etc.) so there may be reservations by users to share information through Facebook Groups. Of course, managing comments and behavior as an administrator can also be challenging. It's important to set rules for the group and try to be as unbiased as possible. You may experience harrassment and threats when you engage with toxic users, which may even be bots. It can be hard to navigate temperments of the users.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups is helping me connect with fans of my product. I frequently ask them for input through polls/surveys. I also do giveaways and provide tickets to events through the Groups. I have built a community that love my product through Facebook Groups. It is a two-way communication mechanism because not only do I provide updates about my product, but the users/audience also reach out to our company with their thoughts. It's a very easy and comfortable app since most people have Facebook. Also it is free which is a huge benefit! It is easy to bring in links and share information through Facebook Groups.

 ### 15. Good for communicating with others

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dara R. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook Groups is a great way to communicate within a group setting. You can post comments, questions, ideas, or suggestions and no one will see it except people in your group.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Unless you have notifications set up on your phone, you may miss some of the group postings. I know they show up under the notifications once you log into Facebook, but I don't always check that and sometimes they don't show up on my feed. Also the group I'm currently in, the admin doesn't monitor the postings so a lot of junk gets posted.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Facebook Group is a great place to connect with others. I'm part of a Facebook Yard Sale group and I find all kinds of stuff or sale at reasonable prices. I can also list items for sale.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great way to communicate with a group whether it be a group of friends, co-workers, or people who have the same interests. Instead of giving out your phone number or email, you can use Facebook groups to post messages to the group members.

 ### 16. A great way to reach an audience especially locally.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I am finding local groups and helping people with their needs. You get a ton of new clients this way. For example the local group here had people asking about SEO and I was answering their questions and got them to sign up as clients.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

People who own the groups who have the same business can remove you even though it is supposed to be an open forum to help people. So you have no control over if you are allowed to help people or not.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

If you are looking to reach real people easily this is a great way to go. You trade time for profits. I even know people who hire people to do this part for their business.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reaching local prospects by spending the time to educate them on their needs. When people see you as an expert, they want to buy your services. One of the easiest ways to get them to open their wallet.

 ### 17. Great Platform For Groups!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt C. | Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I like that there is a seamless filtering option when looking for older posts. I also like that you can easily navigate and filter who is in the group for networking opportunities.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I do not have any critiques! I am impressed by the inprovement FB groups has seen over the years and I think it is a solid product. However, for larger scale public groups that tend to receive a lot of spam users posting, it would be nice to implement an AI function that tracks and filters these spam posts so they can be immediately removed.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups allows me to network with alumni from my college, but also create small events and individually invite my friends. It was a great tool for organizing information for my Fraternity and now I use it to keep in touch with former organizations I belonged to.

 ### 18. People connected in Some Way!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Junaid K. | Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The best thing i like about facebook groups is the private group feature in which users cannot see feeds that are posted inside the group if they are not the member of the group. Any facebook user can create group and add other users and can invite. Users can also join a group directly without any admin approval if the group is public.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

In public group, feeds posted by group members needs to be approved by group admins, moderators. If the group is too large, group admin/moderators can consume high time to review each post and approve/disapprove it as per the group guidelines.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In our company, we have created facebook group for those employees who are interested in fitness. Employees post fitness and nutrition related information in the closed group that are read by other fitness freak employees. Users also posts exercise videos and pictures of themselves and ask for form check and suggestions from other group members. This has created a healthy environment.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Subroto S. | Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups connect with link-minded people and are an easy way to exchange information. There are different types of marketing groups on Facebook. In addition, by joining a Facebook group, one can reach a good decision by discussing an issue with the people of that group. All in all, I think the Facebook group is a perfect medium at present.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Currently, there are some anti-social groups on Facebook. Groups do more bad deeds. These groups are entirely changing people's thinking with some misleading information. However, I think a Facebook groups are very necessary and useful at the present time.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook group is comparable and incomparable in the world of marketing. After the customer joins a group through Facebook marketing, the good and bad aspects of the other group are highlighted in that group so that more customers become interested in buying the product.

 ### 20. Great Way to Connect!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley W. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I love Facebook Groups because I can market to and connect with a dedicated group of followers. I share important posts for my company in our "Fans" group and receive positive feedback. Oftentimes, people in our group will share photos of our product or say why they love it.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Sometimes, I am not able to share posts to my group. This may be because the post I want to share is from a private account. Other times, I have difficulty sharing for whatever reason. This isn't as much as a dislike, though, as a note - I love all aspects of Facebook groups.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Find a group that allows you to connect with people who share a similar interest! Your content appearing on the screen will be engaging and you can make friends with others in the group.

I have realized that I can educate our customers on our products and services efficiently through Facebook Groups.

**Reviewed by:** Christine D. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

It's a convenient way to join a group of like-minded people quickly, to ask questions and/or crowdsource materials. The ability to use polls and update documents in groups is very helpful as well.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I dislike that I don't see the group posts in real-time when I log in to Facebook. That's my biggest issue with Facebook in general, however it really holds true when you're participating in group activities.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Facebook groups are often overlooked as valuable resources. More people need to stop and find groups affiliated with their line of work. In the long run, it helps your work flow and opens your mind to new ideas.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves time because I can go directly to where my peers are. When there is breaking news in my industry, discussions are already happening in the Facebook group that i can join.

 ### 22. Facebook groups help keep people in the right place.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda J. | Band Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I like that I can set the groups to private or public and make each group a specific topic, so people know they are getting what they need. This is great for businesses as well.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I don't like the way they have polls set up as I would love to be able to add pictures to the polls. I also don't like that whenever I put on a dollar sign they automatically think I am selling something.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

I recommend making sure that having a group will be beneficial to you and also having a second administrator t help you run it as it can be time-consuming.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am able to organize my topics so my group members know where to go and what I am specifically talking about. I have also realized I can award people who have been there the longest, and I like that.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We make support for our printers and decoration methods easy to obtain. Often the questions asked in the group aren't necessarily what someone would feel requires a support ticket. So the community concert has slightly decreased our level of submitted support tickets.

It's an excellent platform that can be used for bringing people together and sharing ideas, products, content and more between them, and in a much more intimate setting that simply posting to pages etc.

As it evolves I would like to see it have more bells and whistles, more ways to share content, more ways to interact with your group in real time, even if it comes at premium charge for groups that would like to be able to use additional features.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being in my industry it is hard to find time to network with peers and share ideas. Aside from that, It has provided easy access to in-depth learning oportunities and educational experiences. With Groups i can simply click on my group page and see the information and content that I want to go over or watch

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I love that you can schedule posts in facebook groups! It's not only great for regular postings inside VIP groups and whatnot but it also makes holding a virtual event/party much easier versus just doing a regular Facebook event which you cannot do this.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

The facebook algorithm throws off the order of posts unless you select it to do so otherwise. Not everyone is aware of this feature so it causes lots of confusion and missed posts.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find facebook groups much easier to manage than just having a regular facebook event. You don't have to worry about times when you want to extend a party whereas with events this becomes near impossible. Also as a user I love that you can search within groups!!!

**Reviewed by:** Thuy N. | Deputy Operations Manager (Marketing), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The most helpful thing about Facebook Groups is that I can meet and share things with people of the same interest and knowledge. When I want to find an insightful thought about anything, I will find a group on Facebook that cover this topic and join in. In these groups, I can see many discussions related to my concerns and many differents knowledge and perspectives of people about this topic. Therefore, I can widen my knowledge. Moreover, I can meet and make friends with people who have something in common. For example, my profession is in marketing field so I joined many Facebook group of Marketing. In which, I connect to all the people who are working in marketing or are interested in marketing, we share knowledge, discuss and argue about some topics, create events and moments together. We not only are friends on Facebook, but we also make friends in the real life through some meet up or offline events. I really enjoy Facebook groups and it makes my life more interesting.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I do not like that I am overloaded with tons of discussions on Facebook groups that I joined. When I joined too many groups, I am bombarded with both positive and negative news and information. Sometimes, posts from some Facebook groups keep appearing on my feed and they repeat it.

 ### 30. An Unlikely Connection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melyssa K. | Director of Communication, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups proved to be one of the most excellent connectors ever amid the COVID-19 Pandemic. It connected young and old across countries to gather together around common likes and interests. I also love the fact that it is so easy to use. We have seen users in their 70s using it with minimal issues. Its a way to stay connected and create a space for others to connect with individuals that share the same interests.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I wish there was a way to delete a facebook group without having to individually remove everyone from the group first. Otherwise, I am a complete fan of Facebook Groups. This has served as a great asset to our team, other than the few issues you may face, the good far outweigh the bad

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

If you have found yourself on the fence and wondering if a Facebook group would benefit your organization, look no further; here is your sign to make a move.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving the issue of isolation. Allowing people to come together to use a group to stay connected has indeed been a fantastic feature. The main benefit is helping to keep people's spirits lifted amid uncertainty.

**Reviewed by:** Claudia B. | Claudia, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

People trust people. Within the space of a Facebook group, it's a great place to gain consumer insights and also market to people who genuinely need your product or service, as long as you're in the right group! It's easy to write something genuine and not salesy up, and post it. You'd be amazed the sales or even feedback that you get.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Sometimes joining Facebook groups have rules about self promotion, so you have to be careful or join the right group for your company/purposes. You'll always have a person or two with a snide comment or gif if they disagree with your business or product, but overall, nothing none of us can't handle.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to get insights to what problem our product solved, what questions people have about the market, and how to market to them. We've even straight up posted an asset and said "are these kind of images still cool?" In a marketers group and got a bunch of great feedback. Super helpful, great way to build community and scout perspective sales.

 ### 33. Building Community Virtually

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chelsea C. | Director of Recruitment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I enjoy getting to post updates, photos, and share about what's happening with my company and with my work to a select group of people. I don't want everyone to see these posts but only a select group - and groups allows me to do that within a platform where people already are scrolling.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

It hard to get everyone in the group to automatically see my posts when they're on Facebook and scrolling. There are notifications but I wish the algorithm would more quickly and regular show posts to group members.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Groups are a great way to virtually create community as well as post updates and photos. Have a few people ready to go as Admins to help monitor the page as well as to create posts to spark dialogue.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping information private! I'm able to get a group of select people together, post updates and photos and those people can see the information without it being available or accessible for the entire Facebook world to see.

 ### 34. Sell with Facebook Groups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar P. | Desarrollador BI, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The most useful thing I found with the group tool is the ease of reaching people when wanting to sell a product or give a notice and/or information of interest to the group members. When it comes to delivering one or another piece of information to the group members, it is very easy; just by posting it in the Facebook group, we already have notifications of the posts made, both for the consumer and the provider who are members of the group.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Normally, the content we find in Facebook groups is not controlled, but it can be seen that this is gradually being refined, and there are now many more restrictions for posting or commenting on any publication we find on the social network. Not to mention the toxic comments we may encounter on the social network, fortunately over time there are now more measures available that ensure harmony within the social network.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

A recommendation I can offer you is that the tool Facebook provides us is very comprehensive. If you have a business or want to sell a specific product to specific customers, you can reach them very quickly. With just one post, you could be receiving many product offers on your mobile, tablet, or personal computer. So, decide to open a page within the social network and share your favorite content with other people around the world.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I am managing to solve with the use of Facebook groups is reaching more people, who are within the specific group, to sell my products or also to share useful daily information with them. It's impressive how the content I publish in the groups reaches many people.

I can join any group according to my interest.

 ### 36. Sourcing New Production and Post-Production Talent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc I. | Producer/Project Manager/Script Writer/Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook Groups instantly expands my network reach when looking for new production and post-production talent. By posting within a group for specific needs, I can leverage the recommendations from group members to create a candidate list quickly.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

One drawback of posting on Facebook Groups is the tendency for unqualified or unsuitable candidates to respond directly to my Facebook account rather than following the directions to use my corporate email address.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Facebook Groups has allowed me to find options for new contractor positions quickly. I have gotten the benefit of adding numerous new names to an existing database of talent.

 ### 37. Facebook groups OK but not that great

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ameya P. | Marketing Professional , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups is relatively simple to use. The best feature of it is when you post anything on facebook you easily share it on the groups. Facebook shows all the groups which you have joined. You can select the group where you want to share the group.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Sometimes your post gets rejected by the admin of the group in which you shared the post. Also since facebook is not a business platform like LinkedIn you do not get much serious audience in the groups.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

I think it is good for B2C customers as compared to B2B.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I try to post content related to our company products and services on Facebook groups. This is to generate good and relevant traffic to the website. Nowadays, it is very difficult to get good traffic to the website, Facebook doesn't help much but still since it is a popular platform you get some good traffic to the site.

 ### 38. Easy and quick connection with personal and professional audiences

**Reviewed by:** Fabíola B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

The ease, speed and the great possibility of interaction with different audiences and people from all over the world make this a great facebook differential. Its different ways of expressing opinions and points of view (Photos, videos, text, comments, interactive posts) facilitate this propagation of ideas. The groups act by segmenting this great plurality of people into common niches, which allows for more specific debates on a given subject, publicizing their work or product and acquiring knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook has few downsides, I notice that there are some frequent bugs and your video player leaves something to be desired when it forwards the videos to another tab within Facebook, not to mention the various ads that are making the experience tiring over time.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I participate in groups relevant to my business, where I am able to express my opinion, acquire knowledge and publicize my work and, as a consequence, improve my sales

Easiness, Clarity, and the outcomes you touch after owning a Facebook group, whether you are running a business or for a family member all over the world.
Compared to other competitors such as LinkedIn, Twitter, or any other website. Facebook is the best in terms of the volume of people existing there, and the frequency of their interaction.

For me. there are no dislikes regarding the Facebook groups. It's a place where you are really serious with others, and it's the place of very valuable information you may looking for.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

If you have a business, Never miss the Facebook groups. It will definitely change your career and make a real push towards success.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been working as an affiliate marketer for several years. The answer to this question is simply, I never sold a piece without the Facebook groups!
Simply, there are several scams, fraud deals, and market things that are rubbish. But, when you are promoting a product or even if you are looking for a product, take it from a Facebook group where several people are speaking about their experience, feedback, and even you can know and interact with the owner of this product.

 ### 40. We use Facebook Groups to Build Community

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Molly P. | Google Ad Grant Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

We love the community aspects of Facebook groups. We run two Facebook groups - one for customers, and one for anyone in our industry (we use the second group as a lead generation tool, as well as a way to connect with new customers). Our groups are very active and allow us to learn more about our target demographic and interact on a platform they're already using.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Occasionally, we can't find a particular feature we'd love to see in Facebook groups. Some features like this include the ability to mute the group, the ability to flag a particular URL or user, and others. These haven't been deal breakers, just small features we wish we had.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our Facebook Groups allow us to build relationships with potential new customers, and take existing customer support to the next level. Because our customers are already Facebook users (as most people are), we're meeting them on a platform they already frequent.

 ### 41. Facebook group reviews

yeah, I really like using Facebook group because it brings a lot of many useful benefits for me. For example: when I need to learn new skills, I don't know how to start and I really want to find mentors or people who have many experiences in these fields. So, I join some Facebook groups to learn from them, a community help me and give me some useful advice.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Actually, the Facebook group help me a lot, but they have some drawbacks. For example, a community also has some people who are very nice, but besides there are a lot of people who are so mean and they use some bad words that make me annoyed.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

This Facebook group is so useful. If you join you can learn a lot of experiments and many interesting lessons and you can make friends with many people. A great community make you better

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**Reviewed by:** Laura L. | S, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

Facebook groups are an easy way to reach your target market. People join 1) out of interest of the topic and 2) the algorithm will prioritize group posts over a company post in the newsfeed.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I'm not sure if the option of selling products has been implemented yet, but that would be a great feature. It would be nice to be able to join as a business and post as a business.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

As the Facebook commercial states; there a group for everyone on Facebook! I highly recommend this for businesses and personal use to connect with other people with the same interests.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Targeting our customers is way easier than posting on our company page and boosting or hoping that it reaches the correct audience. People seem to trust people in groups over a business-post promoting their products.

 ### 43. Groups to Enlighten your Day via FB

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saaema A. | Assistant Commissioner - Design & Construction , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

That the groups that I belong to by choice are helpful, friendly, and are safe places to go to for counsel, recommendations, advice, and questions. Often they provide a suitable platform of engagement and productivity upon specific topics, whether it be hair care, college life, cooking, or even exercise.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Not being able to personalize my group photo from my FB account to tailor for the specific group joined to keep my group associates separate from my FB page account. A way to delineate separating personal versus community accounts within the META universe needs to be better streamlined, so users feel their privacy is still secured when toggling between usages.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Great tool with resources that can benefit many users in a myriad of ways

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

FB groups are a way to help users feel a sense of community, camaraderie, and support system that was not available to them before the usage of the group function. Searching for specific topic-related items is a critical feature that the group's platform allows users to utilize and find relevant information quickly. FInding posts by specific people is also a helpful feature for a user who generally gravitates towards one user's posts and information shared sometimes.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

Many groups are inactive, so there should be a way to filter them when targeting business potentials. For startups, it is hard to navigate these groups, so making a guide or a manual to direct you in the right way would be very helpful.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

Staying connected in today's world is very hard with all the distractions. Facebook Groups narrow your focus toward the essential things in your life, work, friends, family, or hobbies. Facebook Groups offers it all and for free. Try it out for yourself and thank me later.

Some groups are not moderated and could be filled by spam salesy messages, which destroys the very purpose of the group.

Creating a group for your friends, family, or coworkers has never been more accessible, so you can always stay in touch with what matters in life, and that is people.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

It would be great to add an AI function that could filter bad words from other comments that are part of the group so moderators wouldn't need to sift through or approve and disapprove negative comments. Besides that, Facebook Groups are a marvel of social engineering.

Facebook Groups enable individuals to keep cultivating relationships they made in their lifetime and share the most treasured and unique moments with their friends and family. Create a group of your own and do not ever miss another thing.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have created a community for like-minded women to get together and support themselves, along with my support in a very intimate manner. Being in the group gives them a degree of safety.

 ### 48. Review of Facebook Groups for Travel Nurses Recruiters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alison F. | Recruitment Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2021

**What do you like best about Facebook Groups?**

I like that the facebook groups connect me to thousands of travel nurses who are looking for specific or vague assignments. It allows me to find nurses who might be looking for a position that we could match them with. Typically I will post a position that is available in one of the many facebook groups that we are apart of and then a few nurses who are interested will reply to the postion saying that they are interested in applying! Another way that we utilize the facebook groups is my scrolling through the posts to see positions that nurses are looking for and find someone who is looking for a position that is similar to one that we are able to offer. Then, we comment on their post and send a direct message to their profile with the information on how to apply to the position. Then, the nurse is matched with many agencies who have positions that fit their needs so that they can find the perfect position for them.

**What do you dislike about Facebook Groups?**

I dislike that I get a notification for every single post rather than posts that are relevant to what I am looking for. However, they do have some ways to filter the posts which is better than nothing. Also, sometimes if I am not looking directly at my Facebook profile and receive a message it may take me a bit to see the notification very quickly so that is one thing that I would like to see changed in order to be able to respond to potential candidates for travel nursing faster than I have currently been able to. Additionally, I wish that there was a way to be able to cap how many agencies can respond to one nurse, because sometimes a new can try to work with so many nurses at one time that it can get very confusing for them to remember who they are dealing with.

**Recommendations to others considering Facebook Groups:**

If you are considering using Facebook groups, I would definitely recommend it to be able to reach a much wider audience at one time. It will definitely be able to benefit your company and how many candidates you will be attracting for your service.

**What problems is Facebook Groups solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the Facebook groups, we are solving the problem of hospitals being short-staffed on nurses. The benefits of the Facebook groups are that they connect us to so many potential candidates for the position at one time. It allows me to find nurses who might be looking for a position that we could match them with. Typically I will post a position that is available in one of the many facebook groups that we are apart of and then a few nurses who are interested will reply to the postion saying that they are interested in applying!
