ELMO is functional and effective, however a little bit clunky and counter-intuitive at times. **Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2024 **What do you like best about ELMO Software?** The home page is easy to navigate and presents well. The side bar is self-explanatory and gives clear direction as to where to find what you're looking for. The 'my pay RTA'/payroll add on is clear, helpful and easy to use. The 'Recruitment' section is good and easy to use as well. The rating column is helpful, as are the categories you can sort candidates into. **What do you dislike about ELMO Software?** The biggest downfall for me personally with ELMO, is that it can be a little bit clunky when trying to find the 'shared with me' documents. The search bar isn't helpful in most cases, for example if I want to find a HR document relating to a new start called John Smith, typing the name doesn't yield any result, instead I have to search for the manager who completed the HR form and sift through the results. **What problems is ELMO Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** ELMO is good as a one stop shop for all onboarding, offboarding and recruiting. Kind regards, the ELMO Software team ### 2. it is very easy and efficient to use at everything is located in one platform **Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2023 **What do you like best about ELMO Software?** everything is located in one platform and we can customise it to add what we need. **What do you dislike about ELMO Software?** it is hard to filter for forms, payroll and HR do not integrate well together e.g. if there is a change of manager/position title - that doesnt flow into payroll. employee records are not able to be tracked properly in Elmo, e.g. when an employee has resigned but comes back to the business the system is unable to keep record of that date. Two different accounts need to be created to ensure when reports are pulled data on employees old role and new role are recorded. **What problems is ELMO Software solving and how is that benefiting you?** entering timesheets into one location, having a central location for user profiles **Official Response from Caity Cividin:** > Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Good webinar sessions and pre-recorded webinars for learning as you go. Setting up new starters for performance reviews and learnings is easy once the workflow is assigned. **What do you dislike about ELMO Software?** Reporting is limited unless you do Custom reports. We then have to download it into a CSV file and "tidy up" to present the information. Not easy enough for Managers who don't use computers often. **Recommendations to others considering ELMO Software:** If you need reporting hours on training or have large quantities of training that needs manual input of information, this might not be the program for you.
