What I like best is how easy it makes booking and managing trips across multiple regions. The platform offers a huge selection of flights, hotels, and car rentals, all in one place — so we rarely run into availability issues. Egencia touts “consumer-like” simplicity for business travel and strong traveler support. For travelers, ease of booking, mobile access, real-time changes matter a lot — and this is emphasised. While Amex GBT Egencia offers strong global coverage and great reporting tools, the least helpful aspect is that the platform can feel a bit limited and clunky at times. Some low-cost flight options don’t always appear in search results, and the interface for modifying or managing complex bookings isn’t always intuitive.
Customer support can also be inconsistent during high-volume travel periods, which can make resolving urgent issues a little stressful. Additionally, pricing through Egencia doesn’t always match what’s available directly through airlines or hotels.
