What do you like best about Echobox Social?

What do you dislike about Echobox Social?

The main drawbacks of Echobox are that the interface is not very intuitive, which makes it harder to use at first, and some features like setting up RSS feeds or UTM parameters require advanced knowledge. What do you like best about Echobox Social?

I really like Echobox Social for several reasons. First of all, I appreciate the training provided which makes using the software easy from the start, which is a huge plus for me. Then, Echobox Social allows me to schedule the posting of posts on Facebook and other social networks on a weekly basis, which greatly facilitates the management of my publications and saves me a lot of time. This scheduling feature is extremely useful because it allows for easy management of posting and thus reaching more of our fans on Facebook, which increases traffic to our website. Moreover, the traffic generated by Echobox Social on Facebook and other platforms is a great incentive for me to continue renewing each year. This ability to post at the right time helps me to drastically extend my reach. Finally, I find it to be an incredibly useful tool for increasing our online presence. If you're simply looking to save time and have content auto-posted to social media platforms, it's fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Echobox Social?

If you are truly concerned about keeping up with algorithms and maximizing engagement through social media, Echobox cannot keep pace with the rapidly changing networks.

When we asked to cancel the software, we were pointed to terms and conditions on their website. At no point while using the software were we directly contacted about auto-renewals or updates to the terms. Unless you reach out to them, you will never hear from your customer service representative.

When we made it clear we were ready to leave, they provided us with the following option:

Option 1: In return for granting an early cancellation of your subscription contract, we kindly request that you leave two top-rated reviews on each of the following platforms: Capterra, G2, TrustRadius, and Google. Once you provide evidence of these reviews and we've had a chance to review them, we can proceed with the contract cancellation.

I would be wary of the positive reviews you see as they have clearly created a system to get "top rated" reviews from customers who are concerned about their service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Echobox Social?

The tool helps streamline the work of the Social Media team by grouping them all in one place. They added tools like sharing reels in collaboration for Instagram, which allows scheduling the entire calendar from Echobox without using the different native tools. It is easy to use, especially when performing tasks on a daily basis. The automation of content by time slots, according to the team's needs, is very useful. What do you dislike about Echobox Social?

They incorporated a feature that allows transforming different links that are published, especially on Facebook, into images with the aim of increasing distribution. However, it is still not possible to correctly establish how to format that publication (suggestion sent), and the images may end up loose, so it would be good to add a watermark of the client to ensure it is identified. Both on Facebook and LinkedIn, it allows adding extra information or links in the first comment so that users can expand the information; this also happens on X, but on this network, it would be more useful to be able to generate longer "threads" (suggestion sent to the technical team and it is being evaluated). What do you like best about Echobox Social?

The tool is very intuitive, which makes its implementation simple, but it provides key functions. Some of these include the diversification of types of posts on social media (images, videos, and links); the integration into the work team was simple, and having all the networks connected in one place allows for easy content sharing with just one click, a relevant point for daily use. I will be able to moderate the automation and define it according to the needs of the editorial team, which is another highlight. What do you dislike about Echobox Social?

There are posts that do not appear despite being scheduled, and that slightly disrupts usage, and it does not send a notification. But the technical team is active, in constant contact, and analyzing these behaviors to prevent them from occurring.

On X, it only allows creating a thread with a single response; it would be useful to be able to schedule longer threads (this has already been communicated to support and they are evaluating the possibilities of implementing it). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
