"Dynatrace’s AI-Powered Observability Boosts Reliability and Speeds Troubleshooting"
5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

Overall, my experience with Dynatrace has been very positive. It has become a critical platform for monitoring the health and performance of our applications, helping us detect issues early, troubleshoot faster, and improve service reliability. The unified observability approach along with AI-driven capabilities has reduced manual effort during incident investigations giving the team better visibility on RCA, entire technology stack etc.. It has been a valuable tool for maintaining a stable digital experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

1. Although dashboards have improved, certain configurations and investigations still require navigating through multiple screens. 2. The platform offers many apps, but new users need significant time for training to become comfortable with features like DQL, Grail, advanced dashboard creation etc.. "Intuitive, Well-Documented, and Backed by Helpful Dynatrace Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

From my point of view, Dynatrace is the most intuitive tool on the market, I’ve tried several others. The documentation is also very strong: it’s clear, detailed, and well explained. And if you ever find something missing, the support team will definitely help you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

I think it should offer more integrations, and make it easier to support custom extensions. It shouldn’t rely only on giving access to the community for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Observability, Excellent AI, but Complex Pricing"
4/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

I like the AI-powered root cause analysis feature through Davis AI, which helps quickly identify and troubleshoot issues. I also appreciate the end-to-end observability it provides across applications, infrastructures, logs, and user experience all from a single dashboard. Features like automatic dependency mapping, real-time monitoring, and proactive alerting make it easier to detect problems early and reduce resolution time. Dynatrace gives excellent visibility into system performance and helps improve reliability and user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

I find the licensing and pricing model complex, and it's sometimes difficult to predict as our environment scales. There's a learning curve for new users due to the large number of features and configuration options. Creating highly customized dashboards and reports can sometimes be less intuitive than expected. Improving ease of use, reporting flexibility, and cost transparency would definitely make the overall experience better. The main areas of improvement are pricing and transparency, ease of onboarding for new users, and more intuitive dashboard customization. While the platform is very powerful, simplifying access would enhance my user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Davis AI Delivers Clear Root-Cause Insights and Real-Time User Monitoring"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

I am in love with Davis AI, which does not merely yell that something went wrong it explains why. You get a single answer as opposed to receiving 100 confusing alerts, which saves a huge amount of troubleshooting time. It follows up on what your customers are doing on your site or app in real-time. You are able to know where they are stuck or slow pages to them, which is a massive assistance in keeping users happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

It is one of the most expensive tools on the market. It takes a lot of training to get your team up to speed. Getting the advanced features like custom business dashboards to work exactly how you want them requires a ton of manual effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fully Automated Root-Cause Analysis with Lightning-Fast Performance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

It’s fully automated. Rather than just flagging an issue, the AI pinpoints the exact root cause, taking much of the human effort out of troubleshooting.

Also it integreates seamlessly with any custom or saas based apps.

The performance is lightning speed fast with ease of accessbility and UI.

The onboarding is pretty straight forward by installing oneAgent for complete monitoring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

The Costing is very expensive compared to other counterparts making it inaccessible for many small to mid sized companies. The big Giants can afford this but any new startup would have a challenge in procuring it.

The learning cuve is also complex, it requires significant training and time investment. Also for some topics and troubleshooting errors the documentation is outdated with specific frameworks so I have to use trial and error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynatrace Enables Exceptional Next-Gen Experiences"
5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

The product is marketed to everyone—from execs to designers, marketers, and engineers. That broad appeal helps drive innovation across the enterprise and prevents teams from siloing their technology stack. It’s easy to use, straightforward to implement, and quick to deliver results. I also appreciate its “business process first, technology second” vision, which is rare in the observability space but genuinely critical to making observability successful for a customer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

Unable to migrate between tenants without easily losing data.

AI tooling needs to be consistent across all areas of the product.

The user experience is inconsistent between the new experience and the classic experience.

The consumption-based charging model isn’t clear—for example, what a query actually costs in currency terms, or how it maps to a percentage of the annual commitment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Cloud Observability Powered by Proactive AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

Dynatrace provides exceptional full-stack visibility and automated root-cause analysis. Its OneAgent deployment makes installation seamless, giving instant deep-dive insights into hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The AI engine (Davis) excels at pinpointing performance bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities in real time before they impact end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

The licensing and pricing model can be steep and complex, especially for large enterprise scale. Consumption-based pricing via Davis Data Units (DDUs) can sometimes make cost forecasting unpredictable as log ingestion or telemetry data increases unexpectedly across large environments. "Cutting-Edge Tech and Support That Drives Success"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

First and foremost, they strive to stay on the cutting edge of technology. To back that up, the support function, and the relationship we have with Dynatrace is what’s key to our success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

I can honestly say I don't have any dislikes, like any software products there are quirks but nothing has been a show stopper for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The #1 Observability Tool for Implementing and Monitoring Applications"
5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

Dynatrace is one of the powerful observability and infrastructure monitoring tools. It expands its capabilities with APM, DEM, and infra monitoring, along with support for databases and multiple cloud platforms. I use it daily to monitor applications and our cloud stack.

It has wide integration support with third-party tools, so we can integrate and monitor almost everything in Dynatrace. They also provide active customer support, helping us when we get stuck and resolving our problems and issues.

We can monitor our application’s golden metrics, such as logs, metrics, traces, and events, along with CPU, memory, disk, and other infrastructure metrics. Overall, it’s one of the best and most user-friendly tools to monitor and secure our applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

There’s nothing to dislike. It’s the number 1 observability tool to use, implement, and monitor applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DQL in Dynatrace Makes Cross-Source Insights Effortless"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Dynatrace?

The most helpful part of Dynatrace, for me, is DQL (Dynatrace Query Language). It can pull data from all sources in Grail, so I don’t have to click through the UI just to correlate different data sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Dynatrace?

DORA metrics aren’t easily integrated into Dynatrace right now. It still feels like some of the beta functionality needs more work before it’s truly production-ready. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
