I mainly use Demandbase for sourcing leads and enriching organic/existing contacts in our CRM. Their data is as complete as can be in this industry, and the tools to integrate are simple. The account view is mostly useful, and the buying intent signals help find in-market accounts very reliably. It also made marketing and sales act together somewhat better. Like pretty much every other org in this space, Demandbase just can't keep data up to date compared to something like LinkedIn with access to first-party info. Any change to a title leads to a contact's employment status being marked as "past", so even a minor promotion can cause a contact to be marked as do not market in integrated systems if you rely on that field being accurate. I also don't use the news/people alerts since it's only useful at the level of major events and/or exec alerts which we already source from the same places DB is probably pulling from, so why add the middleman?
