Customers can purchase any of Cvent’s four core solutions: Registration, Attendee Hub, OnArrival, and Essentials—on their own or combine them to manage registration and payments, attendee engagement, onsite check-in and badging, and simple meetings and events. These solutions are enhanced with AI powered by Cvent IQ, which helps streamline workflows, surface insights, and improve event outcomes across the platform. Each of these products uses the same pricing model: Annual license fee + Per-registrant fee. Products can be licensed individually or customers can choose a Cvent Platform License that includes all four annual product licenses plus additional platform features such as SSO. Per-registrant fees apply under either license type. Cvent also offers optional add-ons, including capabilities such as venue and vendor sourcing, universal appointments, universal lead capture, diagramming, video and content management, and implementation or onsite services. The ease of integration with our CRM and marketing tools ensures seamless data flow, and the drag-and-drop email and site builder make branding fast and professional. Setting up an event—even when cloning—takes time due to the number of manual configurations. The interface is dense, and new team members need training to navigate it efficiently. Customer support is responsive at times, but urgent issues can take longer than expected to resolve. For simpler events, the platform feels like overkill. Cvent Event Marketing & Management helps us solve the biggest challenges in corporate event planning: complexity, compliance, and data fragmentation. There isn't anything I really like about Cvent. I find the application frustrating to use. There are free applications that do the same thing. The onboarding is horrible as well. The hardware required for check-in makes the process slow and annoying. The cost is laughable for what you gain as well. Overall, I would not suggest going with Cvent. We were trying to find a way to have an online schedule for a reasonable price, but Cvent isn't it. I found everything as a user and as an admin to fight you as you tried to use it.
