It is boring to model and sometimes difficult to perform complex operations
Some complex models are hard to make in creo parametric Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
First thing is like, everyone suggests same software that they are using.. I always prefer creo.. As name suggests Parametric is the thing where everything is managed to save users working time.. User interface is the best, simple and very productive that we can get only from Creo.. it provides lots of core enhancements.. like lots of mini toolbars are given. makes designer easier.. making an Assembly is very intuitive with Creo.. Mapkeys and family tables are really best.. Which saves time while doing repeating work.. It provides better management for external references.. rendering is very enhanced but simple to use.. lots of improvements are coming in next versions.. Linked with lots of other modules like analysis, simulation, animation.. it has the capability of importing CAD file format.. which helps the user to customize the old files. nothing to dislike.. sometimes.. only sometimes working on large assembly files leads to unknown errors.. or it crashes.. and major drawback.. rendering crashes.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very user friendly. It is best to learn design software for new users. It has simple and excellent user interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many times it shows fatal error, so there is lost of data without saving it, or without any data backup. It take loading for complex geometry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reference sketch for top to bottom approach for machine tool industry.
Easy to make part, assembly & drawing.
Not required any specific knowledge & anyone can learn it's due to its user-friendlyness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many times Creo crash, while loading huge assembly. Modification in components in assembly module take more time for regeneration & many times it's crash. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What is best for CREO users is the parametrics part, to apply mapkeys and to build a whole process with their code saving tons of time. You can record a process and read the code for that, then you can modify it and even create your own to upload it and do it with different variables.
Its connection to windchill makes it good as well because of easy saving your products and a correct Product life management will be on the way.
Assembling is really easy with their family table and the way constraints are created. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As everything it has some downsides. Their mapkeys are amazing, but it has a lot of limitations when you want to write the code by yourself to change the variables, plus you need an extra license to reach the real power of their parametrics which shouldn't be this way.
The family tables have no finding function, making you go through an excell sheet to find your components or scroll around through one hundren components list PLUS dimensions (or even more).
When you are assembling the only thing that is going to be a strugle is when you apply degrees as a restriction to have a components with different directions, their angles are really bad and moves wrong continuously

Creo Parametric is best for doing 3D solid modelling, weld modelling, robust assembly modelling, technical and freestyle surfacing. It is very easy to use and provides accurate results. It helps in data exchange, gives detailed documentation including 2D and 3D drawings and has a library of parts, features, tools and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using this software for a long time now and have not been disappointed. Sometimes I have faced issues while assembling but that is fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creo is one of the oldest and the best Parametric software there is.
It has the best working interface for solid modeling and assembly.
Sheet metal and mold design along the CAM are some of the standout features of creo.
With many competitors in the market it has still held its position and relevance.
With 6.0 the team of ptc has added AR into their portfolio to further improve the scope of services offered by their products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Detail Drawing or plain drawing is a pain in the ass some times because of the extreme levels of control given to the user.
In drawing the usability can be further enhanced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the Creo parametric software is the best software for mechanical domain. this software is used in automobile industries for product designs. this software also helps in assembling the different parts. this software helps in assembling complex parts with accurate precision. Creo is very faster software used by mechanical engineers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
this is software is very good hence there is no reason to dislike it. this software is very flexible and user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is mainly used for complex assembly modelling production. We can increase efficiency through interface and geometry features of creo parametric software. Sketching is very easy in this software. Creo parametric is used for 3d modelling in different industries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest dislike thing in this software is that drawing detailing is very difficult in creo parametric software. And it is quite difficult software for first time user. Also part modelling is complex in this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

creo is a good tool hence there no reason to dislike this software. it is very user friendly tool for designer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like to think that it solves all my problems of my design tasks. Be it designing a part, assembling, doing drafting, all of it is taken care by CREO Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think when it comes to sheet metal parts, it is not as robust as some of it's competitors in the market. This aspect of the tool can be improved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Creo Parametric software is very much user friendly and easy to understand as it uses the parameters to define the object. It has many work benches like Part modelling, Drafting, Assembly, Surface Modelling and many more, which helps to meet the business requirements. It is the Auto contrainst. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creating animations using Creo Parametric is a bit difficult which takes some time for the new users to understand. The auto explode option used for exploding the views is not good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite thing about Creo Parametric is the speed at which it handles large assemblies and smoothness of mechanism motions. Large assemblies can be rotated, moved, and operated on systems that are not extremely powerful. Many of our assemblies are 100s of parts and they are never hard to manage in Creo Parametric. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main thing I dislike about Creo is the WIndchill system used to handle/store all of the parts and drawings. Windchill is great for storing part and drawing files and finding parts and relations inside assemblies, but that is only if you attribute and describe your parts correctly. The attribute fields and naming/copying/saving workflow is confusing sometimes and can be a difficult for people who are not used to fully describing parts or saving/editing parts in a system like Creo Parametric's Windchill. There are a lot of ready made options to choose from which are already modeled. For example we can directly choose a cone in Creo instead of revolving a triangle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that is sort of a downside is its user interface. Its confusing to use at first and not at all friendly to new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Creo allows you to handle fairly large assemblies and cleanly arrange them in a logical working order. It also allows the user to activate and modify each part in an assembly without having to open another window. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As opposed to other CAD software Creo has condensed functionalities and proves difficult to use in an environment. In addition, the software does not let the user handle a simple change in. Many different ways. There is always a single way to do it that doesn’t cause it to crash. This is especially true when designing cables in a 3D environment. If certain predetermined steps aren’t taken in a specific order the design won’t generate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
La cosa che mi piace di più di Creo Parametric è la modellazione solida. 3lÈ ben comprensibile e piuttosto semplice da utilizzare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
La cosa che mi piace di meno di Creo Parametric è la parte relativa alle superfici. Credo sia un po' troppo complessa e non molto intuitiva. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Powerful 3D design tools; good error proofing, good interface, good file management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Less intuitive than other CAD options. More limited sketching tools. Not as flexible as other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Useful for design mechanical products and also useful to understand working of product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
CREO is not much user friendly because new user find it difficult to understand for sometime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
